Problems with DPS app builder and distribution mobileprovision

We followed all the steps when building the distribution mobile provisioning file, but the DPS app builder won't let us get past the certificate screen. It says that our file is not "Not a distribution mobileprovision file".
The file is a distribution mobileprovision file.
Any help or ideas?

Problem with DPS App Builder

I have a problem with app multi-folio creation, after selected all icons and right certificates when I press Create App the program generate an error of a missing file, assets.zip, but I've added only icons, splash images and anything else. About one mounth ago I've created another app with same settings and it has worked well. I tried to reinstall DPS App Builder but same problem...what I can do?

I'm having the same error message when trying to re-submit my app. I've already submitted and apple have approved, I've then just made a few text tweaks and I'm trying to download the development and distribution files but having no luck only the folio error message!
And I don't know how to creat the 2 files you talk about to resolve the issue. Is this easy to do? If so, would you be kind enough to tell me how or point me in the right direction.

Problems with DPS App Builder

Buy For several days the DPS Single Edition.
I did a test to start knowing how to use the DPS and all great and activate a publication of test certificates of apple and even download the. Ipa to test it on the ipad.
But what is my surprise when I try to activate a second application and asks me the serial number of DPS Sigle Edition and fails to introduce me and not let me delete the publication of test.
I do not see any e Folio Producer publication, I can not activate the new or delete the old, ...
I've watched all the FAQ's, manuals and video but not happened.

As Bern510 says, you'll need to recreate certificates that are valid. I suggest following our step-by-step publishing guide, which walks through how to obtain certificates correctly.

I'm subscribe creative cloud membership, but the individual membership limits to produce iPad only app. How can I solve this problem? DPS app builder is not showing ipad iphone option, and membership is requiring enterprise subscription.

When I use DPS app builder for making ipad+iphone app, the DPS is only showing iPad option as default.
And it's not possible to enroll Newsstand app either.
How can I make ipad+iphone app which is fully supporting newsstand?
Is it possible upgrading from individual to professional/enterprise subscriber?

You will need at least a professional DPS account. Creative Cloud allows only single edition iPad apps.

Dps app builder and in-app puchase

Hi, I have a question about Dps.
Can I develop an app that can be sell on newsstand with DPS app bulder? I've read that to sell an app in newsstand it must be an in-app purchase, but the only way to develop this is with XCode?

You can use DPS Professional or Enterprise Edition to create Newsstand apps. All Newsstand apps must be subscriptions apps, Single Edition viewer apps cannot appear in Newsstand.

App Builder and Distribution Certificate .P12 error

We have a Pro Account. I am building a Single Editon App using v25, running CS6 and OSX 10.8.3. Attached is my screen shot error from App Builder. (v2.6)
The Distribution .P12 certificate is valid (green light) from Apple Developer Portal (see attachment).
I have also tried to revoke and rebuild Certificate and still get this same error but in each instance the "validity date time" changes.
In Apple Developer Portal, I do not see where I can modify or change this validy date.

App update with old icon (DPS App Builder)

Hi! we have a problem! we make an app with DPS APP Builder and we send it to Apple to approvation
When it was accepted we make some change in the icons and splash and we had reloaded teh app
But now we have some problems with the new and the old icon.
So in the ipad 1024x768 i see the old icon in App store, when i click the preview i see the new icon but when i download it, the icon and splash is right!
In the ipad 2048x1536 i see the new icon in App store but when i download it the icon and the splashes are wrong...
In the iphone i see the old icon in App store, when i click the preview i see the new icon, but when i download it i see the old one...
This is the first time we download the app on all devices (except for 2048x1536) so it can't be an issue tied to traces of previous versions on iCloud...
The app name is: EASYKART&KGP
Someone can help us pleaseeeeeee??

Yes we build also for Android device. I send you the
picture of DPS Menu where you can read the ID App for andriod and Apple.
Just a question, do you think we have to create two different Adobe account for android and apple.
For example

android: [email protected]
Because at the moment we have the same account for both (as you can see from this second screeshot)

Creating app for Android/Kindle with App builder and Single Edition (No professional or Enterprise)

Hi there,
I know there is no official support for Android in Single Edition, but, once you have installed Indesing CC and App Builder in a mac, and you create app from your Folio menu, is it possible to create then an Android/Kindle apk app for publishing by your own?
Has anybody published sucessfully in this way?
Other point, is that I suposse that you need a Professional or Enterprise licence to create an android app from the Web-enablet App Builder. Cause I can't find the way the make my single account to join the role to this function (And app builder website website just tells me I have to do this, as if I were able to do it with my license...).
By the way, I think Adobe should explain more clearly this points. There is too much documentation, but difficult to find this answers... And a lot of people with the same troubles...

So, can you confirm if you join the Professional edition (just for a month) if you are able to use both options App Builder/Web-Based App Builder, to create the app in a way that you don't need to be suscribed more time to Professional Edition to be downloaded by the users in Google Play/Kindle Store, and it should work for Applestore (iphone apps) too. I mean, once again, no using Multi-issue and Renditions, cause in this case I know they are hosted by Adobe and you need the subscription to be downloaded.
I think there are discussions here about this topic, but it's not exactly clear what I'm asking. So, I still don't know if I should buy the Professional Edition or go to another supplier as you said.
I hope that Adobe improve these functions! There should be native support for these platforms, cause at the end you only can publish to the applestore with the Single Edition and everbody knows the "too booky problem" with the apps. And we should have support to publish to ibookstore because of that too, without third party solutions.

Updating my .ipa in DPS App Builder for testing is not working

I've build my .ipa file in DPS App Builder for testing on my iPad before I publish it to the app store. No problem. I tested it and saw some modifications to make. I made the changes on my folio, updated it in the folio builder of indesign (on the cloud). Then I get back to DPS App Builder and rebuild an .ipa file from the "Manage" and "Modify" windows, it download and test my certifates, seems to work ok. Then I've created the new .ipa file (after erasing the old one on my desktop and iTunes) but when I synch it back on my iPad it's not updated. It's still the first version of my folio without the changes.
I tried to create a new app from the beginning but the single edition serial number does not work anymore. So my only solution is to update my folio, right? But what is the right way to do it? Am I missing something? I didn't find any answer in the step by step guide about that.
Or is it possible to delete completly the first version in DPS App Builder to recreate it without losing my single edition serial number as I didn't submit it to Apple yet?
Do I have something to do in the Folio Producer?

Single Edition Serial is one time use thus modification is not possible from your end directly in case you wish to use the same serial number. For such cases you need to contact DPS Support, who can get an approval on a serial number reset after reviewing the need.

I'm getting the "App Activate" error when I try to download my bundles from the DPS App Builder.

I have a Single-App subscription to the Adobe Creative Cloud.
According to this FAQ (link: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html#single-app) I should be able to publish unlimited single .folios with DPS with my Single-App subscription to the Creative Cloud. Here is the exact paragraph I'm refering to from that FAQ:
As a Creative Cloud member, do I have access to Digital Publishing Suite?
Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition is not available to free Creative Cloud members. Creative Cloud single-app and complete members have an unlimited Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition license. Creative Cloud for teams members also have an unlimited Digital Publishing Suite Single Edition license.
When I build the app in the DPS App Builder and reach the end of the process, I'm getting the error where it asks me to provide a Single Edition subscription serial to download the developer bundles for my app.
I have tried all the methods described on this forum to solve this problem, including deleting and reinstalling the DPS App Builder, deleting the old apps and creating new ones after redownloading the DPS App Builder, deleting the DPS App Builder, signing out of my Folio Builder in InDesign, redownloading the DPS App Builder, signing into my Folio Builder in InDesign again, etc., to no avail.
Can anyone help? This is a time-sensitive issue and I'm trying to get this app into the Apple submission process immediately. I can answer any questions if you all have troubleshooting advice for me.

Thank you for the information and the response. We will be upgrading to the full version of Creative Cloud to publish our single .folio.
I do want to remark on the issues created by Adobe's inconsistent explanation of how DPS can be used with the Creative Cloud. After reading that FAQ, I also spoke with an "Adobe Agent" through the chat system that pops up on various product pages and asked the agent as specifically as I could if the Single-app version of Creative Cloud would allow me to publish single .folios through DPS. In no uncertain terms the agent said the Single-app version would be fine, and referred me to the order page to begin the order process.
I spoke with another agent over chat in the morning on Saturday and they also said I should be able to publish single .folios with the Singe-app subscription to Creative Cloud. When I presented my App Activation problem to the agent, the agent said I should just wait 24-48 hours for my subscription to Creative Cloud to process so I could create my app.
This has been a very vexing process that has cost my team valuable app review time. If I had not encountered the FAQ and two agents who specifically told me that I could use the Single-app version of Creative Cloud to publish my .folio, I would have been happy to go straight to purchasing the full version of Creative Cloud.

We connected our acrobat.com account with Safari.
On our dashboard when we had clicked on DPS App Builder on the left, Safari offered to save us from Apple Developer account !!!!
And when this recording was made, DPS App Builder no longer ask any questions !!
When we connected with Firefox on our acrobat.com account and we clicked on DPS App Builder, any proposed registration had been sought by Firefox.
Effectively, we had not yet registred our company with Apple Developer.
So, the problem seems to be in the registration with Apple, and apparently, DPS App Builder doesn't want to be launched if this registration is not yet made.
Well, now DPS App Builder works normally
