Problems with ebay app since updating to new i Phone layout.

I updated the softwear on myI phone today and i am having trouble with my ebay app which i didnt have with the old version. When i browse through ebay and attempt to look at an item thats for sale it does not allow me to browse the photos only the first one .the screen also looks all squashed together it is alsnnot allowing me to look at any bids that have been made or how many views any of my items have had. Any suggestions or can someone tell me how to reinstall the old settings on my I phone back ....thank you

I would start with the troubleshooting outlined in this article named:

1. Update your device software
Update your device to the latest version of iOS.
2. Check for app updates
You can setup apps to update automatically in Settings > iTunes & App Store, but make sure that your apps are up to date:
Open the App Store and tap Updates. If updates are available, tap Update All.
If  prompted, enter your iTunes Store account information. App Store will then download and install the app updates.
Note: Some apps may require a Wi-Fi connection to update.
3. Install another app from the App Store
If none of your user-installed apps will launch, there could be an issue with Apple ID authorization. Download and install an app that isn't already installed on your device to reset this information. You can also remove an app from your iOS device and download it again from the App Store or sync the app from your computer.Note: If you have installed apps using multiple Apple ID accounts, you may need to perform this step for each account.
4. Restart the app
If the issue affects only a single app, try closing just that app.
5. Restart your device
Turn the device off and on.
6. Reinstall the affected app
Remove the app from your device and reinstall it:
Tap and hold any app icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle and show a small "x" in the top-right corner of the app.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the app you want to delete.
Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your device.
Press the Home button.
Go to the App Store.
Search for the app and then download it again.
Note: If it is a paid app, ensure you are using the iTunes account you purchased the app with originally. If it is not, you may be asked to purchase the app again. Learn more about downloading previously purchased items.
7. If the issue is still unresolved, contact the developer
If you continue to experience the issue, contact the developer of the app for further assistance:
Find the app in the App Store.
Open the app's page, tap Reviews, and then App Support.

    I have downloaded library books using the Overdrive app, it checks out books from the library and then puts them on a Kindle app to download to my phone. Since the update I can check a book out using Overdrive, but it never makes it to my Kindle app (Amazon.com account). Amazon people have no idea why. Has anyone else had a problems with this since the software update?
    And one other thing............my ringtones for phone calls are fine, but the text alerts are so quiet I can hardly hear them. And I have the volume set up as far as it will go. Any ideas?

    I can delete the app, but I have one book already downloaded that I haven't finished and still have a week to read. And I also have 5 books that I am on a waiting list for so I would be bumped back to the last if I deleted and reinstalled the app.
    Any other suggestions?
    ETA: this app worked really well until recently which makes me think the update had something to do with it.

    Try this-get Onyx- a free utility app...then do a font cache empty. Then reboot. If that doesnt work try throwing out illustrator prefs. I find that after system upgrades that the caches are messed up especially fonts. You do know that BEFORE AND AFTER a system update Apple recommends that you boot from system disk and repair permissions-right?

  • I have a problem with the maps since updating to ISO6.

    The maps are significantly inferior to the google maps. The routes are incorrect - ie, takes me on the longest possible route and there is no streetview. To say I'm disappointed in this 'upgrade' is a massive understatement. It is clunky, and of very poor quality. I'm also disappointed that YouTube app was deleted in this upgrade. How can I convert back to ISO5 - or when will Apple fix this problem and revert back to the google maps?

    I do not agree with you. I find Apple Maps are more interesting, correct and fast. I am so glad the old Google maps are gone.
    You can wait forever or use Safari and make a shortcut to https://maps.google.com
    As for YouTube, you can download the YouTube iPhone app from the App Store.
    And no, downgrading was never support.

    Everything was working fine until today. I don't like having tabs on top, and I'd like to have them in the classic firefox position, like many people as well.
    I hope you'll fix this with the next update.

    I won't swap to Chrome, but lot of people just might will, and this is pissing me off... Really, the reason not to allow having tabs on bottom is very stupid. And there is nothing in the addons...

    You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
    and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..

I have tried enable and disable restriction, connecting my phone to my laptop and sync from my computer and none of them is working. What should i do?

    Often when this type of thing occurs with missing default apps it is due to a situation where you are unable to 'see' the apps. If you will go to your front display of your device go to settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen layout.
    This reset allows for your apps that have for whatever reason been hidden in such an area as you arn't able to find them now to be returned to the area as which they were when you first had the device.
    As far as the missing Apps that were purchased through the Apps Store if you will go to settings>itunes and Apps store and click where it reads about automatcally downloading apps clicking on the toggle switch AND clicking on the toggle switch which allows for cellular data to be enabled this then will effectively automatically download all apps to your device that was purchased from the App Store.

    Am I the only one having problems with ringer volume since the update?? I'm hard of hearing and before updating to IOS7 I could hear my alarm and ringer just fine. Volume is turned up all the way and I've chosen the loudest sounds I could and still having a difficult time hearing.

    Annie Hall is available on DVD only.
    It is not available for streaming and I believe movies available for streaming are the only movies available with the Netflix app on an iOS device.

    Have you tried signing out of your iTunes & App Store on your device and then back in again - Settings>iTunes & App Store, click on Apple ID, then on Sign Out. Then sign in again and see if it accepts the password.
    If that doesn't resolve the issue,  try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the reset is complete, the Slide to Unlock screen will display. See if the problem is resolved.

    I don't think that a software update from Apple will solve the issues that you are having. You have a rogue installation. After you posted I have just done the following:
    Disk Utility can verify  my partitioned Volume (including my boot disk) AND REPAIR the non-boot disks on the same Volume without a glitch. It repairs the non-boot disks containing data smoothly.
    I have used Mail to send some mails from some Yahoo and Hotmail accounts to my Thunderbird client containing GMail accounts - absolutely normal.
    I have iLife '09 but my iMovie '09 and iPhoto '09 open in a jiffy and I see no issues here. I have 6GB RAM (Maximum) on an early 2008 Macbook Pro with a 750GB hard drive partitioned with 120GB reserved for the Boot Drive.
    I am sorry that I cannot help further but I am sure there must be a way to reinstall the software without having to revert to restoring your ML backup. I have two clones and if you have such I would attempt to do that through that rather than through Time Machine - that is of course if you have a cloned drive.

    Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
    Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Reinstalling OS X Without Erasing the Drive
    Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
    When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list.  Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
    Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
    Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

    OS X Yosemite- Reinstall OS X
    OS X Mavericks- Reinstall OS X

    Move or Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer or the backup of the old computer to the new computer.
