Problems with iPhone 3G recovery.
Ever since last night, my phone has been stuck on the apple logo that shows when turning on your phone.
This has happened before and I was able to fix it by holding down the sleep/wake button and the home button.
Now when I do that, it either goes back to the apple logo and doesn't change or it says it needs charging. I left it charging for about 2 hours (while still on the apple logo because whenever I hold down sleep/wake button and the home button, it automatically goes back to trying to turn on) and it keeps changing from the apple logo to the low battery display.
So, this is what I attempted.
I have tried putting it into recovery mode after charging it but I think the battery is too low (to restore or even for itunes to read my phone properly) once I plug it back into the computer, so, I let it charge for about half an hour, then I try again but the same thing keeps happening.
I think the problem may be that the battery is running out quicker than it is charging (and I obviously can't avoid this since the brightness it stuck on almost full and on the apple logo.)
I'm sorry that this is very confusing but if anyone has any idea how to fix this, please, give it a shot and let me know! This is very important to me that this gets fixed quickly as possible. I'd be happy to help anyone who helps me. Thank you so much.
Which Touch (first or second generation) and which iPhone (2G or 3G)?
And what generation Nano are you testing with.
Your auto systems may not be compatible with the newer generation model iPods/Phones.

Try to Restore with iTunes on your computer. If this does not work, there is full Warranty. Make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple for resolution.

The iPhone is in Recovery Mode, generally the iPhone will have to be restored to get it out of recovery mode.

Problem with iPhone 4s when ran out of battery. After charging and on main screen, Siri keeps telling me what I have on my main screen. It's not Siri that is talking, it is one of the accessibility features. If you can't go to Settings to change the accessibility settings you will have to restore the phone from Recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808

Problem with Rescue and Recovery after installing Norton Internet Security 2010

It's my first time in this forum.
I have a problem, with Rescue and Recovery, after installing Norton Internet Security 2010 on my T43.
The message I get it:
"Rescue and Recovery is unable to back up the file 'C:\Documents and settings\all Users\Application Data\ Norton\ 00000082\00000109\000003c1\cltMLS1.bat' Because the file is either corrupted or being used by another application. Please close any application that could be using the file.
I tried to close the Norton but I couldn't find how.

Doron71Hi and welcome to the forum,
the reason for this situation is, that the antivir files are protected from being modified.
This is the reason, why this file cannot be backed up. I assume, that you would get much more such messages, as there are surelly multiple files files, that are protected like this.
So the solution is to block folders from being archived. Please start RnR application and in the configuration set this folder as the excluded one.
This will skip the backup of this file and will fix your situation.

There are major reception and battery problems with iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS 4.2.1.
I can not believe that Apple did not test this for major bugs like this one is.
I am a business user and can not effort to have bad reception. Apple wants to gain in the business clients... I never had this with my former BlackBerrys!
I need a reliable phone not a play thing like this is right now, it just needs it to work propely. And if a major bug like this comes along, fix it immediately. After the iPhone4 story, now this...incredible! Going back to my reliable BlackBerry! It just ain't reliable and takes forever to fix a problem.I have the same issue after iOS 4.2.1 update. I am using iPhone 3GS officially unlocked by Apple. I tried using different SIM cards and both carriers show same problem when using phone in 3G mode. Phone falls back to EDGE mode showing 'E' from '3G' at start. I have reset the phone and rebooted several times and moved to different cell areas in the city just to verify the problem.
I had no such issues earlier. I also have Nokia E71 which shows full signal and has no such issues.
I have posted the bug on apple iphone feedback page. I hope they Apple will fix the problem and test the release properly on all models before releasing to public. -
Anyone having problem with iphone getting a not delivered message after sending pic and it really is getting delivered to recipient.
Same problem here with and I've done everything shy of a total reset which I also find unacceptable. This problem exists on all iMessage platforms (iPhone, iPad, and Mac) so I don't see how restoring my iPhone would help the problem.

iPhone to Saudi Arabia for repair/replacement. Either take it back
yourself or send to friend/relative for them to take to Apple. Apple
will not accept international shipments for repair nor will Apple

I have a problem with RMAN incomplete recovery until sequence.
According to my database structure ............
SQL> SELECT GROUP#,SEQUENCE#,THREAD# FROM V$LOG;
GROUP# SEQUENCE# THREAD#

I took the backup of backup of full database using RMAN and i am trying to recover like this:
RUN
ALLOCATE CHANNEL C1 TYPE DISK;
SET UNTIL SEQUENCE 7 THREAD 1;
RESTORE DATABASE;
RECOVER DATABASE;
ALTER DATABASE OPEN RESETLOGS;
BUT i am getting a message saying there is no backup of DATAFILE 1,2,......10 to restore although my database is in archivelog mode and i took a backup.
YachendraPlease consult v$backup_datafile.
It will tell you when the file was backed up.
RMAN will always search for a datafile backup prior to the logsequence or whatever is limiting the incomplete recovery.
Likely when you made your backup Oracle was already past sequence 7.
