Problems with iTunes downloading songs to computer. I hook up my iPhone as well as my Ipod and it does not download the new content on my computer.

AH!!!! Problems with iTunes saving songs

So i've recently upgraded to the newest version of iTunes, after having not been able to run my old version for quite some time. The old version would install, but just wouldn't run. Anyways the problem I'm having this time around is that iTunes will load up all my songs, i'll let it do its thing with the "determining Gapless..." something or other. Let it get all the album artwork it wants and then once everything is done, I'll start to play songs. But everytime I close the application, the next time I open it, it will begin the stupid automatic song load wizard. If I hit cancel, I just get taken to my iTunes window with no songs left. So my main problem is every time i open iTunes, my songs are gone. If anyone can help out, that'd be wicked. Thanks!

Have you tried updating the iPod software and
restoring it to the factory default settings? Try
that by downloading the iPod updater software from
here: http://www.apple.com/ipod/download/
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling iTunes aswell.
And if THAT doesn't work, try reinstalling your
computer, but backup important files!!! If you don't
want to do that, simply take the iPod back for a
replacement at the store (if bought from a store) and
get a new one! That's why i love Argos in the UK!!

Oh, and erm, go to the settings of your iPod and
click something like "manually update music and
videos" then you can drag the music or video file
over into iTunes, i find that works more
effeciently!! If you need any help, just ask!

I have purchased ios 3.1.1 for my 1st gen ipod touch but cannot get it loaded onto my itunes. I have the latest version on my computer and no problems with internet connection so I'm at a loss as to what to do?? The error message coming up says:" an unknown error occured (8228)". Please help!

HT201272 problem with partial download onto my computer

I purchased a song in iTunes. Got a partial download on my PC Windows computer, although iTunes CLAIMS there are 3:43 minutes, there is only 20 seconds of song. The song was downloaded in full to my iPad and iPhone, but in my iTunes library, although it shows as 3:43, I only have a snippet. There was a download error when I first got it.
How do i get the entire song on my computer, so I can move it to my first version iPod shuffle?

On the computer, delete the song from the iTunes library and then redownload a fresh copy on the computer. See the following document for instructions:

Italiano: Oggi ho acquistato da itunes il nuono album di Deadmau5..L'ho caricato sull'iphone e mentre ascoltavo ho notato questa cosa: In pratica andando sull'artista e di conseguenza sul suo album vengono elencati i titoli delle canzoni, MA con sotto anche il nome dell'artista..
Ho cercato in altre canzoni ma nessuna è come queste di questo album. So che è inutile ma mi piaceva poter fare la stessa cosa se possibile con tutte i brani.
é possibile? se si, come si fa?

i removed pwntunes from my iphone, but still having same problem.
Try restarting your iPhone. Turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments. Now turn the Phone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Before you try syncing with your PC again, launch iTunes. Select the Apps tab from the menu. Delete the PWNTunes app then click the Apply button bottom right side of the iTunes window.
Now try to sync.

HT1926 whenever i try to click the itunes icon on my screen, i get a ' itunes software liscence agreement' coming up, i click agree but itunes never opens, my ipod wont make it open! (ive never had problems with itunes on my other computer)

it all started when i installed itunes, which i have never done before on this computer as its new (second hand , but i mean new as in wiped clean)
i downloaded the latest itunes software from the website, and everything went smoothly. when i dobule-clicked the icon on my home screen, a 'apple itunes software liscence agreement' window popping up, it had 'save as' 'agree' and 'disagree' buttons, naturally i clicked 'agree' the window went away, but nothing (even 30 minutes later, with the computer untouched) happened. frustrated i repeatedly opened it up, again and again, only to be greeted by the same window, and same blank home screen. even connecting my ipod wont force it open, changing cables wont work, and uninstalling seems a very distant probmise to fix this error. HELPP MEEE! I am nothing without my beloved ipod!

Problem with itunes download

Ive just bought and downloaded an album but three of the songs havent downloaded completley....

I had the same problem. I let the SD copy download completely, and then I put it on my iPhone 3Gs before resuming the download of the HD copy. I can play the TV show on my phone, but not on my MacBook or AppleTV.
Can you share your solution when you find it?

If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content?

However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.

You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.
E.g., "The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. I have the same issue...I called Adobe and they said that Acrobat 8 is not compatible with Windows 7 ...so I tried installing the suite again without Acrobat and still the same issue....does anyone know if this issue is resolved by getting the new CS5 suite??? I'd like to report a problem with iTunes Match and Natalie Cole's song "This will be (an everlasting love)".
When I stream it or download it on another device I don't get Natalie Cole's song but another one from Maxine Nightingale (Right back where we started from).
Please tell me if you have the same problem or how I can report this problem to apple.

Alternatively if the song was purchased from iTunes, you may be able to report the problem by signing into you iTunes account on your computer. Report an problem with an item you bought from the iTunes Store, App Store, Mac App Store, or iBooks Store
