Problems with iwork09 opening on my new macbookair

I have a problem with opening iwork09 on my new mac book air. I didnt purchase it online, i had the installing CD and it worked great on my old mac, now I moved it from the old one to the new one and even after the update, when I try to open the pages or numbers, the window pops up saying what you can see on the pic.. any suggestions?

The latest version is 4.3
And how did you transfer iWork from the old to the new Mac? Migration Assistant does not do a good job of transfering the iWork Apps.
You need to install from scratch and update that.

There is no need to download anything to solve this problem.
You may have installed one or more of the common types of ad-injection malware. Follow the instructions on this Apple Support page to remove it. It's been reported that some variants of the "VSearch" malware block access to the page. If that happens, start in safe mode by holding down the shift key at the startup chime, then try again.
Back up all data before making any changes.
One of the steps in the article is to remove malicious Safari extensions. Do the equivalent in the Chrome and Firefox browsers, if you use either of those. If Safari crashes on launch, skip that step and come back to it after you've done everything else.
If you don't find any of the files or extensions listed, or if removing them doesn't stop the ad injection, ask for further instructions.
Make sure you don't repeat the mistake that led you to install the malware. It may have come from an Internet cesspit such as "Softonic" or "CNET Download." Never visit either of those sites again. You might also have downloaded it from an ad in a page on some other site. The ad would probably have included a large green button labeled "Download" or "Download Now" in white letters. Never install any software that you downloaded from a bittorrent, or that was downloaded by someone else from an unknown source.
In the Security & Privacy pane of System Preferences, select the General tab. The radio button marked Anywhere should not be selected. If it is, click the lock icon to unlock the settings, then select one of the other buttons. After that, don't ignore a warning that you are about to run or install an application from an unknown developer.
Still in System Preferences, open the App Store or Software Update pane and check the box marked
Install system data files and security updates (OS X 10.10 or later)
or
Download updates automatically (OS X 10.9 or earlier)
if it's not already checked.

Problem with ati open gl not beeing supported.

Hello guys, I'm new here and this is probably not the right place to put this topic so sorry, but it's just that I have been trying to solve this problem for 3 months and nothing still and I'm kind off little frustrated. It's the ati 2400 hd agp pro video card that I've bought 3 months ago. It has problem with the open gl, I cannot play counter strike or any other game. It says open gl is not supported. I've tried everything, reinstalling my system, reinstalling drivers, tried all catalyst from 8.7 to 9.4.. So please if you know a fix for this I would be gratefull to heaven! :(
P.S. Nothing but a fix made specially for this problem is not going to help so don't write reinstall this etc etc..I'm sure many ati users have the same problem :(. I think I saw someone on this forum posting a link to the fix for this problem but that link doesn't work. :S

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

you are right, it works in the 'mother' page, but if I want to add some options from popup window (window.open...), and when I accessing combo throught opener propery, than I have problem, because it is not working!?

That works fine. What I'm having trouble with is being able to perform a new search and refreshing that open window
with the new data. Right now I am closing that window by clicking on the tab and then performing the search.
While it works, it's not user friendly.
So, I've tried the usual mywindow=window.open("url.cfm"); and then trying to grab that handle to refresh, but to
no avail. Has anyone done this?

Problems with "File Open" and "File Save As" in Tiger

I recently upgraded to OS10.4.3 on my PowerBook G4 and ever since I have had only frustration upon frustration with this new version.
When launching a program whether it be QuarkXpress 6.5, Illustrator CS, Photoshop CS, InDesign CS or Acrobat 6.0 and you go "File Open", it can take up to 3 minutes before the "Open" window dialog box will appear so that you can access your files. The same applies to the first "File Save As" in any of these programs. After that everything works normally.
Has anyone experienced this problem with Tiger and is there a solution? I should be most grateful for any assistance.

PowerBook G4 Mac OS X (10.4.3)

I got so frustrated with iDisk that I did indeed turn mine off altogether. Now I just mount it when I need it, and do whatever I want to do manually. And it is STILL annoyingly slow, not only in its own operations, but in the way it hijacks the Finder and can sometimes bring all Finder operations to a grinding halt.
I keep a local copy of the all the files I have on my iDisk in a perfectly normal folder. And I keep looking forward to the day when the promised seamless operation of my local files and iDisk will actually work.
I've been waiting for several years and thru several different incarnations of the OS, and it ain't there yet. I think Apple's version of WebDAV is just really really bad. I've heard other WebDAV servers work better. And I figured it was a bad sign when, back in Panther, one of Apple's own helpers recommended a third party WebDAV software (Goliath) to access the servers rather than using the Finder. I didn't think things could get any worse--until Tiger came along. A bad situation can get worse, and it did.
Maybe when Leopard gets here.....

Problems with transferring iTunes Library to new iMac

I am having a problem with transferring my iTunes library to my new iMac. I have read many of the suggestions posted in this forum along with numerous articles on other sites. I have not seen anyone describe my exact problem.
When I got my new iMac, I used Migration Assistant to transfer everything (files, applications, settings, etc.) from my old iMac to the new iMac. On my old iMac, the iTunes music folder (i.e., the actual mp3s) are on an external HD, while the iTunes Library file (the database and xml files) were in the /user/Music/ folder on the old iMac.
After the Migration Assistant was done, the /user/music/ folder and the library files were copied to the new iMac, but the iTunes music folder was not. It is still on the external HD.
If I open iTunes on the new iMac, iTunes shows me all of my songs, but if I play one, I get the "song can't be found; do you want to find it" error. In iTunes preferences on the new iMac, the "iTunes music folder location" is the new iMac.
I have the 2 iMacs connected by a firewire cable, but neither iMac recognizes the other computer as being on the same network. That is, in Finder on the new iMac, I cannot see the external HD of the old iMac.
I can't change the library location on the old iMac, because the new iMac does not appear in Finder or in the "Change Music Folder Location" dialog box.
I want to move the music folder (the actual mp3s) from the external HD of the old iMac to the INTERNAL HD of the new iMac. I don't need to keep them on the old IMac, as I will be selling that computer. Of course, I want to keep all my playlists, artwork, etc from the old library.
Does anyone have a suggestion?

Problems with Nokia C3-00's New Software (V 07.20)...

I have a problem with my Nokia C3-00's New Software. Some Java Applications are not being supported. The Applications which are already installed during the Old Software are also not working. When I am trying to open the Apps, I am getting the Opening and Closing Messages of that Particular App. I also Observed that the Apps with the Key Symbol on the Icon have this type of problem.
In the old Software all the Apps are easily Installed and all can be used. With this new software this is not possible. I am just trying to install the old software.
Please check your C3-00's and check my Problem occurs for You also.
Please suggest me a resolution and where can we get the old software for installing that into my phone. I think it is the only resolution for that problem.
Please share your views on this issue and Please suggest me a best solution.....

Problems with Cloning Old SSD to new SSD on i7 MBP

Alright, I'll try to be as brief as possible.
I recently transferred or am in the process of transferring my old info from a Mac Pro Tower to a new 2.8 i7 MBP. Previously, I had a 40GB SSD drive with my OS and Apps and it ran perfectly fine, however I needed more space. I ended up buying a Crucial M4 128GB SSD and upgraded the RAM to 16GB and have since had problems with the Crucial. I just now updated the firmware but that didn't seem to fix a thing.
So what I've done is initialized the M4 SSD w/ Disk Utility via Mac OS Extended (Journaled) and I've done a clone using Time Machine (it worked but it was really slow and would occasionally lag for 30 seconds out of nowhere with a beach ball) and I've also done a clone using Carbon Copy and that was ridiculously slow (I would get a beach ball every 5-10 seconds and just opening a new window in the finder would cause a beach ball).
I don't know what could be the problem. I've since made a bootable SD card with both Leopard and Lion, thinking I'd just install a brand new OS onto the new SSD, but those aren't working for some reason.
So yes, I'm currently using the previous and well-working 40GB SSD, but I'm lost and would appreciate anyone's help!

Right there is none. As stated on my Late 2011 MBP 15" with hard drive installed with Lion and recovery HD partition in place to boot from the Online recovery system I must hold down Command+Option+r.
Now if I had no recovery HD partition maybe Command+r would work. I don't remember if I tried that, although I think I have and as far as I can recall it is the same.
This has been covered before with others doing tests and IIRC all others with NEW MBPs need to hold down those 3 key to access the online system. Note that this is on NEW, late 2011, MBPs. Not sure about early 2011 models or late 2010 models with the updated firmware.
In any event holding down those 3 keys if the other command, Command+r, doesn't work won't cause any harm to the computer. It's not like the computer will self destruct if you hold down those keys.
On the same Mac to boot the Online Apple Hardware Test, which is normally holding down the d key, I have to hold Option+d. There's no documentation on that either.
