Problems with JDev 11g using JBOSS and ANT

Hi,
I'm trying to migrate to JDev 11g with JBoss ( version 7.X ) as the AppServer
With JDev 10g all works fine with JBoss, even the Remote Debug, all OK
here is the problems I have :
1) ANT
JDev doesn't save my ANT settings
every time I launch ANT : Run Ant Target - I must set the Advance settings
JDev 10g I only need to do that once, the settings are saved but not in the 11g, why ?
2) persistence
I get this error when deploying to JBoss
16:34:50,967 INFO [org.jboss.as.server] (HttpManagementService-threads - 1) JBA
S015870: Deploy of deployment "prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear" was rolled back wi
th failure message {"JBAS014771: Services with missing/unavailable dependencies"
=> ["jboss.persistenceunit.\"prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear/iDigital.menu-WebApp
.war#InfraModel\"jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.stdDSMissing[jboss.persistenceun
it.\"prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear/iDigital.menu-WebApp.war#InfraModel\"jboss.na
ming.context.java.jdbc.stdDS]","jboss.persistenceunit.\"prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.men

nit.\"prod_v0.0.1_iDigital.menu.ear#InfraModel\"jboss.naming.context.java.jdbc.s
tdDS]"]}
it seems that is something related to dependencies not well configured during build stage of the EAR, but with 10g works fine
BTW, I can't run my project with WebLogic either, gives this error :
<5/Abr/2013 18H27m BST> <Error> <Deployer> <BEA-149265> <Failure occurred in the execution of deployment request with ID '1365182860563' for task '0'. I can't say many about the ant stuff, but have you tried to put the parameters in a property file and use this to get the parameters to ant?
The reason you can't run the application on WLS is that you have not installed the adf runtime on your wls. The error 'application.xml: [Extension-Name: adf.oracle.domain, exact-match: false].' points to this.

    I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling at least a dozen times. I have tried redownloading iTunes at least 5 times and from different links. This leads me to believe that the dnssd.dll file is not itself corrupt, but this newest version is causing a conflict with XP somewhere somehow.
    Team, iTunes 10.2.2.12 has just been released. I installed it and checked, and BonJour's been updated to version 2.0.5.0, and there's a new 2.0.5.0 version of dnssd.dll on my system. So I reckon it's worth a try updating to that to see if it's of any help with your trouble.

  • Problem with JAAS authentication using jboss client

    I'm trying to make a little compiled application works. It has two parts: a little client(one class) and a server part which runs on a jboss server, and comunicates between them using JAAS + SSL. It works perfectly alone if I run it in a java project, without the messing sap JAAS implementation.
    I followed all the steps in:
    https://websmp101.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700003517632004E.PDF
    and managed to apply the configuration into the security service of WAS, using <b>jboss-client.jar</b> as the library with the login module, and <b>org.jboss.security.ClientLoginModule</b> as the login module.
    I included the client class into a web service developed for my WAS, packing the class and its library plus jboss-client.jar into my EAR.
    But when it tries to do the authentication, sometimes it uses:
    <b>org.jboss.security.ClientLoginModule</b> (that's the correct class) but throws a "<b>User is locked</b>" exception.
    Have I need to create the user who I use to connect to jboss in my WAS UME ? This has no much sense. Anyway doesn't work either, and the user is not locked.
    Other times (withouth changing anything) it uses:
    <b>com.sap.engine.system.SystemLoginModule</b> and throws this exception:
    <b>com.sap.engine.services.security.exceptions.BaseLoginException</b>: Call logout before login
    I have nightmares trying to integrate things which works in every application server but WAS. Why couldn't they simply follow the standard!?
    I'm thinking in installing a tomcat with the client, and use axis to wrap it with a web service I can consume from my WAS. Not very elegant solution.
    I think it maybe has something to do with specific callback classes from sap implementation.
    Any idea? I can't go forward.

    Did you resolve this problem? Please let me know. I have the same issue now and don;t know what I should be doing next

  • Problem with Join Queries using PHP and an Orcale Database

    Ok, I am trying to build a simple php querying tool for my oracle database and for the most part it is working however I am having a problem getting data from my join queries. If I run the following query :
    QUERY:
    SELECT lastfirst,EnteredBy,Debit FROM students sts JOIN GLDetail gl ON gl.studentid=sts.id
    RESULT SET:
    Lastfirst     EnteredBy     Debit
    caiu, test      204     1
    But when I run the query correctly I get no results
    QUERY:
    SELECT sts.lastfirst,gl.EnteredBy,gl.Debit FROM students sts JOIN GLDetail gl ON gl.studentid=sts.id
    RESULT SET:
    sts.lastfirst     gl.EnteredBy     gl.Debit
    and if I run the query combining the two above methods and adding a field (schoolid) that has the same name on both table I get the following result sets
    QUERY:
    SELECT lastfirst,EnteredBy,Debit,sts.schoolid FROM students sts JOIN GLDetail gl ON gl.studentid=sts.id
    RESULT SET:
    lastfirst     EnteredBy     Debit     sts.schoolid
    caiu, test      204     1
    QUERY:
    SELECT lastfirst,EnteredBy,Debit,schoolid FROM students sts JOIN GLDetail gl ON gl.studentid=sts.id
    RESULT SET:
    NONE
    Therefore, I have to have something written incorrectly in my php code and I just can not figure it out. My entire code is pasted below please provide me with an assistance you might have to offer. I have change the odbc_connec line so I could post it to this forum. In addition, I had to phrase out the column headers there for when you write the column headers you have to use ~ instead of , as the separator and then I turn back into the correct format for sql.

    This looks more like a SQL question than a PHP issue. There are a couple of JOIN examples at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B28359_01/server.111/b28286/statements_10002.htm#i2066611 that might you work through the problem.

  • Urgent: Performance problem with where clause using IN and an OR condition

    Select statement is:
    select fl.feed_line_id
    from ap_expense_feed_lines_all fl
    where ((:1 is not null and
    fl.feed_line_id in (select distinct r2.object_id
    from xxdl_pcard_wf_routing_lists r2,
         per_people_f hr2
    where upper(hr2.full_name) like upper(:1||'%')
              and hr2.person_id = r2.person_id
    and r2.fyi_list is null
              and r2.sequence_number <> 0))
    or
    (:1 is null))
    If I modify the statement to remove the "or (:1 is null))" part at the bottom of the where clause, it returns in .16 seconds. If I modify the statement to only contain the "(:1 is null))" part of the where clause, it returns in .02 seconds. With the whole statement above, it returns in 477 seconds. Anyone have any suggestions?
    Explain plan for the whole statement is:
    (1) SELECT STATEMENT CHOOSE
    Est. Rows: 10,960 Cost: 212
    FILTER
    (2) TABLE ACCESS FULL AP.AP_EXPENSE_FEED_LINES_ALL [Analyzed]

    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

    Thanks for the reply, but I have already checked what you are suggesting and I am pretty sure those are not causing the problem. The hr2.full_name column has an upper index and the (4) line of the explain plan shows that index being used. In addition, that part of the query executes on its own quickly.
    Because the sql is not displayed in an indented format on this page it is a little hard to understand the structure so I am going to restate what is happening.
    My sql is:
    select a_column
    from a_table
    where ((:1 is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement)
    or
    (:1 is null))
    The :1 bind variable is set to a varchar2 entered on the screen of an application.
    If I execute either part of the sql without the OR condition, performance is good.
    If the :1 bind variable is null with the whole sql statement (so all rows or a_table are returned), performance is still good.
    If the :1 bind variable is a not-null value with the whole sql statement, performance stinks.
    As an example:
    where (('wa' is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement)) -- fast
    where (('wa' is null)) -- fast
    where (('' is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement) -- fast
    or
    ('' is null))
    where (('wa' is not null) and a_column in (sub-select statement) -- slow
    or
    ('wa' is null))

  • (Another) problem with custom painting using JApplet and JPanel

    Hi all,
    I posted regarding this sort of issue yesterday (http://forums.sun.com/message.jspa?messageID=10883107). I fixed the issue I was having, but have run into another issue. I've tried solving this myself to no avail.
    Basically I'm working on creating the GUI for my JApplet and it has a few different JPanels which I will be painting to, hence I'm using custom painting. My problem is that the custom painting works fine on the mainGUI() class, but not on the rightGUI() class. My code is below:
    import javax.swing.*;
    import javax.swing.border.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    import java.awt.event.*;
    import java.awt.image.*;
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.imageio.*;
    public class TetrisClone extends JApplet {
         public void init() {
              setSize( 450, 500 );
              Container content = getContentPane();
              content.add( new mainGUI(), BorderLayout.CENTER );
              content.add( new rightGUI() , BorderLayout.LINE_END );
    class mainGUI extends JPanel {
         // Main bit where blocks fall
         public mainGUI() {
              setBackground( new Color(68,75,142) );
              setPreferredSize( new Dimension( 325, 500 ) );
              validate();
         public Dimension getPreferredSize() {
              return new Dimension( 450, 500 );
         public void paintComponent( Graphics g ) {
              super.paintComponent(g);
              // As a test. This shows up fine.
              g.setColor( Color.black );
              g.fillRect(10,10,100,100);
              g.setColor( Color.white );
              g.drawString("Main",45,55);
    class rightGUI extends JPanel {
         BufferedImage img = null;
         int currentLevel = 0;
         int currentScore = 0;
         int currentLines = 0;
         public rightGUI() {
              // The right panel. Has quite a few bits. Starts here..
              FlowLayout flow = new FlowLayout();
              flow.setVgap( 20 );
              setLayout( flow );
              setPreferredSize( new Dimension( 125, 500 ) );
              setBackground( new Color(27,34,97) );
              setBorder( BorderFactory.createMatteBorder(0,2,0,0,Color.black) );
              // Next block bit
              JPanel rightNext = new JPanel();
              rightNext.setPreferredSize( new Dimension( 100, 100 ) );
              //rightNext.setBackground( new Color(130,136,189) );
              rightNext.setOpaque( false );
              rightNext.setBorder( BorderFactory.createEtchedBorder(EtchedBorder.LOWERED) );
              Font rightFont = new Font( "Courier", Font.BOLD, 18 );
              // The player's playing details
              JLabel rightLevel = new JLabel("Level: " + currentLevel, JLabel.LEFT );
              rightLevel.setFont( rightFont );
              rightLevel.setForeground( Color.white );
              JLabel rightScore = new JLabel("Score: " + currentScore, JLabel.LEFT );
              rightScore.setFont( rightFont );
              rightScore.setForeground( Color.white );
              JLabel rightLines = new JLabel("Lines: " + currentLines, JLabel.LEFT );
              rightLines.setFont( rightFont );
              rightLines.setForeground( Color.white );
              JPanel margin = new JPanel();
              margin.setPreferredSize( new Dimension( 100, 50 ) );
              margin.setBackground( new Color(27,34,97) );
              JButton rightPause = new JButton("Pause");
              try {
                  img = ImageIO.read(new File("MadeBy.gif"));
              catch (IOException e) { }
              add( rightNext );
              add( rightLevel );
              add( rightScore );
              add( rightLines );
              add( margin );
              add( rightPause );
              validate();
         public Dimension getPreferredSize() {
                   return new Dimension( 125, 500 );
         public void paintComponent( Graphics g ) {
              super.paintComponent(g);
              g.setColor( Color.black );
              g.drawString( "blah", 425, 475 ); // Doesn't show up
              g.drawImage( img, 400, 400, null ); // Nor this!
              System.out.println( "This bit gets called fine" );
    }Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've read loads of swing and custom painting tutorials and code samples but am still running into problems.
    Thanks,
    Tristan Perry

    Many thanks for reminding me about the error catching - I've added a System.out.println() call now. Anywhoo, the catch block never gets run; the image get call works fine.
    My problem was/is:
    "My problem is that the custom painting works fine on the mainGUI() class, but not on the rightGUI() class. My code is below:"
    I guess I should have expanded on that. Basically whatever I try to output in the public void paintComponent( Graphics g ) method of the rightGUI class doesn't get output.
    So this doesn't output anything:
    g.drawString( "blah", 425, 475 ); // Doesn't show up
    g.drawImage( img, 400, 400, null ); // Nor this!
    I've checked and experimented with setOpaque(false), however this doesn't seem to be caused by any over-lapping JPanels or anything.
    Let me know if I can expand on this :)
    Many thanks,
    Tristan Perry

  • Problem with tutorial; "Build a Web Application with JDeveloper 11g Using "

    I've got a rather new installation of Vista Business x64 on my developer rig, and last week I installed the new JDeveloper 11g version. The installation was all-inclusive, no customization on my end.
    In addition I've got a test installation of an Oracle DB 11gR1 on an available server here.
    To familiarize myself with the new JDeveloper I decided to spend some time with the JDeveloper 11g tutorials found here: http://www.oracle.com/technology/obe/obe11jdev/11/index.html.
    I've started twice on the second tutorial, "Build a Web Application with JDeveloper 11g Using EJB, JPA, and JavaServer Faces", and find myself repeatedly stuck at step 19 in section "Creating the Data Model and Testing it".
    It seems impossible to deploy the application to the default application server. The server starts fine on its own, I can access it via the admin console on port 7001 and it looks good. However, when I try to run the HRFacadeBean funny things are happening, symptomized by the following error messages seen in the IDE log-area:
    The "Messages" pane displays:

    I'm not that familiar with these things but it seems to me that there is an issue with port numbers here. The application seems to expect a app.server service at port 7101, but does'nt find one.
    Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be appreciated?

    Jupp,
    It fails in a similar way.
    What I did was; create a simle 'Hello World' html file, saving it with the jsp extension. In Jdev11g i made a new application and an emtpy project, then loaded the jsp file and made it the default run-target. This compiles nicely.
    When running the project it first attempts to start the WebLogicServer (WLS). After a few minutes it is started as seen in the "Running: DefaultServer" pane:
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin\startWebLogic.cmd

    DefaultServer started.
    In the "Messages" pane, however, things are not looking so good:
    Context: MakeProjectAndDependenciesCommand application=TestAppJsp.jws project=TestProjJsp.jpr
    [7:20:49 PM] Successful compilation: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
    [Application TestAppJsp is bound to Server Instance DefaultServer]
    [Starting Server Instance DefaultServer]
    #### Server Instance DefaultServer could not be started: Server Instance was terminated.
    But, of course, the server is actually running as I can access it via its Admin Console.
    So, I try to run the project again, and this time the following is shown in the "Messages" pane:
    Compiling...
    Context: MakeProjectAndDependenciesCommand application=TestAppJsp.jws project=TestProjJsp.jpr
    [7:26:39 PM] Successful compilation: 0 errors, 0 warnings.
    [Application TestAppJsp is bound to Server Instance DefaultServer]
    [Starting Server Instance DefaultServer]
    #### Server Instance DefaultServer could not be started: Server Instance was terminated.
    The "Running: DefaultServer" now comes up with:
    C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\base_domain\bin\startWebLogic.cmd
    [waiting for the server to complete its initialization...]
    [Server Instance DefaultServer is shutting down.  All applications currently running will be terminated and undeployed.]
    Process exited.
    The WLS is still running though as I can still access its adm console.
    To me it seems that it is attempting to start a separate instance of the WLS for each run attempt, but then I could be wrong.....:(
    Later I'll try to change the default WLS port from 7001 to 7101 as suggested in another port here.
    I must admit that I'm a bit surprised that the JDev11g doesn't work fine at this very simple level when performing a default install.

    Quicken 2007 for Intel (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mt. Lion and Mavericks) for $15:
    http://quicken.intuit.com/personal-finance-software/quicken-2007-osx-lion.jsp
    It will input your Quicken PPC data file directly if it was Quicken 2005 through 2007.  If older you need Quicken 2006 or 2007 PPC first to convert your data file; and this update must be done BEFORE you upgrade to Mavericks:
    http://quicken.intuit.com/support/help/patching/quicken-2006-manual-updates--mac -/GEN82200.html
    Filemaker Pro PPC (in this case 7) running in Snow Leopard Server installed into Parallels for use in Lion, Mt. Lion and Mavericks:

    Snow Leopard Server: 1.800.MYAPPLE (1.800.692.7753) - Apple Part Number: MC588Z/A (telephone orders only)
    This solution allows you to run your Photoshop Elements in Mavericks concurrently with Filemaker Pro PPC.  Mavericks is a free download.

    CS 4 Dynamic Link to Encore doesn't work most of the time.  Encore stops operating after opening and periodically Premier Pro stops working.  I'm told that there has been a problem with CS4 when using Dynamic Link to go to Encore and build CD's.  Is there a way around this?  Is there a patch to correct it?

    To build CD's???
    What problem does Encore have with DL?
    If DL is not working properly for you the way around this is to export from Premiere to either mpeg2-dvd for DVD or BluRay H.264 for BD-disks and import the files in Encore.

  • Is anyone having problems with the battery drains quickly and the iphone4 heats up in use and in charging after upgrading to 5.1.1?

    Is anyone having problems with the battery drains quickly and the iphone4 heats up in use and in charging after upgrading to 5.1.1?

    I have had the same problem but I seem to be getting somewhere to fixing it!!! My battery was going down at 20% an an hour now its 10% with constant use and 5 in standby !!! So improvement all round
    First I did a restore then I drained the battery i started to charge it and when it came on I turned the phone off completely and let it charge to 100% I then left it for a couple of hours on charge at 100. I saw no improvement after 1st drain so I repeated the drain battery and charge steps again with the phone turned off when charging and have seen a very big improvement. I am going to do it again tonight and hopefully problem solved!!!!
    The next issue is iMessage as that's playing up and wifi drop out
    Good luck

    does anyone had this problem , please help, i´m trying to solve this problem and still couldn´t make it.

    Applications that you build with JDeveloper 11g are normally aimed at WebLogic 10.3 servers.
    They require Java EE 1.5 and JDK 6.

  • Problems with FCP 5.1.4 and OSX 10.4.9

    I upgraded to Tiger, installed the new FCP Studio and everything was working fantastic.
    The next morning there was a software update for Tiger and FCP-5.1.4, it's been a nightmare ever since. When I restarted FCP would not recognize my Sony HDR FX1.
    I had this problem once before with 4.5 and I fixed it by re-installing FCP and doing the upgrades, so that's what I did with 5 but this time there was a new problem. It wouldn't let me work on anything that I had opened since I did the software update, so I had to do the update again and then FCP wouldn't recognize my camcorder again on startup. If you pressed log and capture you could control the camera but no capture was possible.
    So I re-set the easy set-up and presto! everything was fine and I worked productively for a few days.
    But then I had to capture some SD from my Canon GL2 so I reset all the settings for DV NTSC and reset the easy set-up for DV NTSC but now FCP won't recognize my GL2 on start-up. If I click log and capture I can control the camera but no capture.
    My next try to solve my problem was to downgrade back to my original 10.4.6 and FCP 5.1
    That put be back to square one and everything works fine again except I am left with the problem that everything that I worked on after I did the update won't open, I get error 41.
    Now I know this is because I am now trying to work on these projects with 5.1 after they were worked on in 5.1.4. But the problem is that everytime I update to 5.1.4 I can no longer capture or print to tape.
    I tried the trashing the FCP prefs thing and the repairing permissions thing but I can't seem to solve the problem.
    Has anyone else had any problems using FCP 5.1.4 and OSX 10.4.9?

    Not sure how you tried to install 10.4.8 but if all
    else fails you can always reinstall the original
    operating system that came with your Mac using 'Erase
    and Install' then upgrade it to 10.4.8 - probably in
    stages.
    Erase and install should be used as a last resort! A better option is to use the "archive and install" feature. It renames your old system folder and creates a new one for the OS you just re-installed. That way you don't have to reinstall everything, your user accounts and emails should all still be there, and if something doesn't work, you have your old system folder to pull things like preference files out of.

  • Problems with creation of catalogue XPGrpwise and temporary

    Problems with creation of catalogue XPGrpwise and temporary files.
    I use GroupWise 8.01 and WinXP (SP2), OpenOffice 3.1.
    Why at opening files in Library, temporary files are not created in catalogue C:\Documents and Settings\Jon Smith\Local Settings\Temp\XPGrpwise, and created in catalogue C:\Documents and Settings\Jon Smith\My Documents. That causes problems. How to change a situation that worked as it is necessary.
    Catalogue XPGrpWise is created and leaves duly in catalogue C:\Documents and Settings\Jon Smith\Local Settings\Temp\.
