Problems with Kensington Presenter

Hi all,
I recently bought a Kensington presenter (Kensington Presenter Expert Green Laser Presenter with Cursor Control and Memory) for my MacBook Air (working with OS X 10.9.3 (13D65)). The presenter works fine for up to 5 minutes and afterwards nothing but the laser is working which means I can't control the presentation any more. Batteries are ok and the presenter also works on a PC without any problems.
Does anyone have any suggestions???

I'm having precisely the same problems. I've used the Kensington Presenter successfully for over a year now and suddenly the last two times I've used it, it fails after a few minutes or a few slides. Changing the battery has not helped.

Adobe presenter has encountered a problem with this presentation

I dont know what happened but I used Adobe presenter without issue on Friday, 9/21. On Monday 9/24 it seems there is an issue. When I try to save a powerpoint presentation or use the Presenter ribben I am seeing the same message, Adobe presenter has encountered a problem with this presentation.....
I have unistalled and reinstalled Presenter as well as unistalled and reinstalled Powerpoint. Nothing is working and the error message does not help. This is also happenign on my coworkers machine.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Can you tell us the exact version of Presenter please. You will find it in About Dialog as mentioned in above post.
I did not get your previous post. Do you mean you have installed an incorrect version (32/64bit) ? Presenter 32bit is supported on PowerPoint32bit and Presenter 64bit version on PowerPoint 64bit.
Please ensure you are following the above criteria.

Resolution problem with pdf presentation from CS4 in Bridge

I have CS4 and am consistently having problems creating multipage pdf files using Bridge; though they are created using 300 dpi files in Photoshop CS4 the resulting multipage pdfs from Bridge are not print quality. I never had a problem with this before Bridge was required to create pdf presentations. The files used to create the presentation in Bridge are either psd or Photoshop pdf at 300 dpi. I am completely self-taught in Photoshop and my skill level is moderate at best, but I am not finding anything to help me so far in searching google and forums. Does anyone have any info to point me in the right direction? thanks-

I am having a problem with Adobe Presenter Video Express locking up my PC. It requires a complete reboot to kill the program. Anyone else?

I recently installed Presenter 10 and the Presenter Video Express locks up my PC. I can't even end with the task manager. I must force my PC to shut down. Anyone else having a problem with Video Express?

Hm, that was my silver bullet. Other than doing an uninsall and then installing Presenter again, you may need to reach out to Adobe and see if they can identify what could be causing this.

Problem with Kensington Bluetooth PocketMouse on an iMac G5

I got a new Apple Wireless Keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse with a scrollwheel (Kensignton PocketMouse Bluetooth Optical).
The Name and Battery Level information of the mouse does not show up on the Bluetooth tab of System Preferences > Keyboard & Mouse, even though I can use it. This information appears for the Keyboard.
I am using an external prodigi USB Bluetooth dongle.
Also, the computer often fails to recognize the keyboard and the mouse when waking after a sleep. The LED on the dongle begins to glow constantly (normally it blinks on and off) and the fans begin to turn at a high speed. I have had to cold-restart the system thrice, after ~6 sleeps. I now have the old USB wire mouse and keyboard plugged in as well, for use until the Bluetooth devices are again connected and paired with the computer.

This issue with your father’s iMac regarding zooming and Yahoo mail could be related to his usage of the Apple Magic Mouse in Mavericks. Try getting him to turn off a feature of Mavericks called Smart Zoom, which is explained here:

Regarding the second issue you mentioned in your post, could you provide more information on what exactly he may be doing when the request for authorization is presented? I have selected 0YEA_QUA_MON_DAY hierarchy on 0calday.In the query I have included 0calday as free characterstic.In quey execution , first of all it displaying few rows. If I drill down to 0calday level,it does not display any rows. Here the message is ,after drilldown to 0calday level:

This filter is not always displayed.

Audio problems with Adobe Presenter

Hi
I recently had Adobe presenter installed on my windows XP machine. Adobe presenter is set up to run through powerpoint 2003.
I recorded all of the audio as mp3 files straight onto my machine (although there were a few issues such as intermittent sound). When I have accessed the quiz manager section to record some audio there, it crashed my machine and removed all of the audio from the whole presentation (luckily I had the audio files saved somewhere else!!). I then went back into the presentation and tried re-importing all of the audio back in. again, when I accessed the quiz manager the same thing happened again....
Has anyone else experienced the same problems? I have spoken to Adobe and they said that it is down to the compatibiliy of Adobe Presenter/powerpoint and that I should find a workaround so was wondering if any one had any hints..

This is a weird one. If you created a prezo with audio and published it to AC (Adobe Connect) and everything worked fine on your desktop then it should work fine in AC i.e. there are no other settings required on AC's side, it should just play.
As I am typing this I thought of similar audio problems that we have experienced in the past. A big one would be where another user created a PPT on their laptops and handed it to us. When testing the audio did not work. Reason being is that not all the files were coppied over BUT I must accept that this is not your problem as it definately worked on your PC before you published it to AC.
Wait there is one setting in the publish settings. In the output options tick "Upload source presentation with assests", then tick audio.
I cannot think of anything else. There is a man called Heyward Drummond on the Adobe Connect General forum, who is a real master at answering queries like this. Why not post your query there and see if he comes up with an answer?

Problem with kensington pocketmouse

Hi Everyone,
I have been a PC user all my life and this is my first mac. I have had it for a week now and have been using the kensington pocketmouse with my old pc. I tried connecting it to the mac and for some reason it does not work. I download and installed the most recent software and still the mouse cursor does not respond to the kensignton mouse. If anyone has any idea how to fix this problem, all help is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the Apple forums.
With your mouse attached, if you click on the blue apple in the left hand corner of the screen, click on About This Mac, click on More Info, and in the left hand column under hardware, click on USB, do you see the mouse listed there (or if a Bluetooth mouse, see that section)? I have a Microsoft optical mouse I sometimes use, and as soon as I plug it in, it's recognized by the PB.

Problems with downloading Presenter

I cannot download my trial of Adobe Presenter, this error has occured mulitple times.
I have tried to delete all file and start over with no success.

Problem with Multiple Presentation Services

Can any one help me out regarding multiple presentation services with different servers like url of the presenation services should be like
http://localhost1:9704/analytics and
http://localhost2:9705/analytics_test
i have done up to the different port numbers,by deploying analytics_test in enterprise manager and changed the port number in web.xml and created new another instance config file with changed DSN name and listener port ,and also making changes in xmlp-server-config.xml and bioffice.xml but i am struck at host names now, where do i need to do changes so that i get
localhost1 and localhost2 ??

Publishing Problems with Adobe Presenter 9

I downloaded the free trial of Adobe Presenter 9 and created a video/Powerpoint presentation. However, when I went to "Publish" (to YouTube), it stalled at 5%. Did I just waste many hours that I really don't want to do again? It's an hour long presentation! I have Windows 7 and I've updated all my drivers on my laptop but it still won't publish. Now what? I can't even find the file so I can try it out on another computer.

Did you try to update the drivers from Device manager > Display Adapters ? Please try to update the drivers from Intel website using the driver version.
Also, have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the Presenter 9 after updating the drivers ?

Problem with formatting presentation notes

Is there a way to change the formatting for all presentation notes, rather than slide by slide? If I open a slide master, and try to click in the notes field on that master, nothing happens. I can't see any preference for changing the default notes font/size either.
Also, I've noticed something strange. After I print the presentation, the notes change to Helvetica 12 pt. despite the fact that they were 24 pt. before they were printed! This is repeatable and happens every time I print the presentation.

This happened to me to. Try restoring from your latest iCloud backup, however, this'll only work if you have an iCloud account as you need one to back up notes. I apologise i can't be anymore detailed,as i dont have an iCloud acocunt myself.
