Problems with latest iTunes (7.4.3.1)

Hi everyone,
I just installed the latest iTunes and it just doesn't see my 3rdG iPod nano. I used the previous version this morning and everything was fine... Now what?? I can see my 4th generation iPod classic, but my nano is not seen in both Windows and iTunes... Does anybody have the same problem? I tried every usb hub on my PC, I tried to use another usb cable, it just doesn't work.

Have EXACTLY the same problems - 7.4.3.1 refused to see iPod (60GB 5th Generation) in either Windows or iTunes, then asked me to re-format the iPod's drive as it was not compatable with Windows XP !! It then crashed the machine. The solution that I found worked was simply to uninstall 7.4.3.1 and re-installed the previous version (7.4.2.1) All is now good in the land of the mp3. Hope that helps. Problems with latest iTunes version.

I had installed the latest version of iTunes in my computer, and it works really good, but when i plug my iPod (2nd generation 20GB clickwheel) iTunes shows it and inmediately iTunes stops working. Any help for me? how can i solve this problem?

I have an older version of iTunes and cannot buy music from music store unless the new version is installed. I had no problems downloading version 6.0 but when installing, windows tells me that I don´t have authority to do so and that I need to log in as an administrator. The problem is that I am a member of the administrators. I have upgraded windows (xp) and tried several times to download iTunes 6.0 but it still don´t work! It´s only when i´m trying to install this program the message comes up, not with other installations! Please help me!

Problems with latest itunes update

After installing the itunes update yesterday I cannot connect to my apple devices or connect to the itunes store.
I get an error message telling me the Bonjour service has not started ( when I check on services, it clearly has). also my processor starts running at 100% and itunes consumes all system resources.
I have removed and reinstalled and still have the same issue.
Any idea's
Windows 7 pro on HP laptop.

Some more developments ... the issue appears to be browser-specific. I can't see the download controls at the moment in either IE 8 (I'll get your message) or Safari for Windows 5.0.5 (I'll just get the blank box). But I can see the download controls in Firefox 4 and Chrome (whatever version I have of that).
So it might be worth installing Firefox and seeing if you can get the downloads via that:

Problem with installing iTunes

So these are my problems with installing iTunes.
At first it was :
A required iTunes component is not installed.Please repair or reinstall iTunes (-45019)
Then it got worse as it would not even open and these would appear:
The program can't start because AVFoundationCF.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.
and this would appear:
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes.
Error 7 (Windows error 126)
I reinstalled maybe about 5 times or more...
If I thought I solved the above problem, this would appear:
iTunesHelper.exe is not installed on my computer.
I seen other people comment that you should unistall and restart the computer and install the setup again, but it does not work..
And others would say to repair the AAS or iTunes etc..
And after trying all these it does not work???
What else works?

I also tried repairing the Microsoft NET.

Go to the front page of the Store, and click Change Country. Make sure it is set to the country where you actually are.
Then you will be able to see everything that is for sale in your country, which, depending where you live, might or might not include music.

How do I fix this problem with my iTunes?

I've been having problems with my iTunes for over a week now - since I tried to update to iOS 5 - and I've tried everything. I've had to uninstall iTunes multiple times and each time I have reinstalled it, there has been some form of error, the list seems endless. Today, I managed to get an older version to succeessfully install but when I tried to update to the newest version, this is what appeared on my screen after the 'install.'
"The procedure entry point AVCFAssetCreateWithByteSystemAndOptions could not be located in the dynamic link library AVFoundationCF.dll"
Any idea what this means, and/or how to resolve it?

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:

Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, does your device connect without that message now?
