Problems with main settings

Hi I was just wanting help as I tried to change the admin user and the short name. It then said restart, which was done, all settings are in another folder but I can not set them as the main settings. Everytime I tried to alter the short name it created another account which I deleted, the memory is nearly full and obviously running very slow. I just want it back to the previous settings. Any help would be very much appreciated

If you haven't created any additional accounts from the Accounts pane of System Preferences, go through the /Users/ folder and look at the folders inside; when you find the one which contains your documents and settings, note down its name. Next, use these instructions to reset the NetInfo database, and then recreate your account with the short name being the name you noted down earlier.
If you created multiple accounts, recreate them in the same order they were initially created, with the name of the folder which contains your documents substituted for the original short name for the account which you tried to change the short name of.

Problem with Mail settings - PDF document is not sending

Hi Experts,
During sales order confirmation, a PDF attachment used to be sent.
But now the customer is receiving the file with extension as .OTF instead of .PDF.
Where could be the problem with this? Is this something wrong in SOCT setttings?
But for some other scenarios, the same is working so i don't think that there is a problem with SCOT settings.
Please let me know if anybody has an idea about this problem or susgestion to find the problem

I guess there is no need to change any settings.
You just need to change format from OTF to PDF using some FM.

Problem with main screen of firefox

After the upgrade from firefox 15.0 to firefox 16.0.2 is problem with main screen. At the top of the main screen shows the bar (caption bar of main form) as I win xp and under this caption is caption bar as win 7.
Firefox is run on the Windows Xp, if will by better, I can send screen but I do not know where is possible add image at this error report....

Hello, i have a big problem and i searched the whole day yesterday but didnt found an answer...
I started a Flex Mobile and PHP Project. The Project has a Data/Services included wich loads some customer from a database (sql)... for the first a
used Zend and try it local (http://localhost and used the htdocs Folder of Zend)... EVERYTHING WORKS PRETTY FINE... so NOW my problem
I wanted to export this project to a release build for my android phone... so the first warning of Flash Builder ist that the project ist currently configured to access data services from a local url. When i click the button i get the server setting.

whe i change it now i get an eror:"The selected web root folder does not exist (i attached i screenshot of it).
i entered de domain of my server (i also tried the ip) at Root URL. And i think there ist a problem with the Web root...? i get scary

i know WHY Flashbuilder tells me that i have to change the setting when i deploy on the device

i entered my server url (the real domain) and i entered the folder "app" wich i have created via ftp on my server...

Smartform - problem with main window

I have following windows in my smartform first page.
First Page
-> secondary window 1
-> secondary window 2
-> main window
       1 template1
       2 template2
       3 command node
-> secondary window 3
I have the same windows in my next page. I am using the command node in main window for some specific condition to implement page break to next page. I am getting the next page with all the contents from the secondary windows but for some reason the main window in second page is not diplayed.
Please help me. Waiting....

Hi Raju,
One possible solution can be... first fix number of rows in a page. Then in the INITILIZATION use DESCRIBE command on your internal table. Then divide the number of lines by the number of line you have already fixed to be printed on a page. This will give the number of pages.
Now what you can do is... in your first page take a table node. In that create a table line with 13 columns and place the first 13 columns in that.
Then take a ALTERNATIVE node with condition sy-page = the number of pages which you have already calculated.
For this ALTERNATIVE node in the TRUE node take a COMMAND NODE with NEXT_PAGE(second page) in GO-TO-NEW-PAGE field.
And in the FALSE node take another COMMAND NODE with FIRST_PAGE(current page) in the GO-TO-NEW-PAGE field.
Untill unless you will reach the last page(which we have calculated) this condition will become false and hence the COMMAND NODE in the FALSE node will trigger and the current page will be triggered. This completes the printing of 13 columns for all your internal table rows.
Now in the NEXT_PAGE(second page) take another TABLE node and again create a new table line with the next 13 columns(14 to 26). And assign NEXT_PAGE in the Next Page field of this page(next page... hope you are not confused ). This will print the remaininig 13 lines.
But the problem with this solution is that the user has to sort the pages after getting the printouts and also the number of rows that will be printed are fixed on a page.

Problem with Main Data !

iam facing a strange problem with smartform main window with my line items
data while Calculating.
my requirement is if the form is more than two pages
i have to display two totals i,e is PREV_TOT & SUBTOTAL from second page onwards.
if the page is last page then i have to display as TOTAL.
when am calculating the Subtotal part,
Assume that am having 3 items with item texts on the first page.
and from second page if the particular line item is starting then the first record of the second page
amount is considering in the first page subtotal.
if the particular record is not starting from the second page... means if the item text of particular
material is over flows to second page ...
then am getting the correct calculation part.
how can i over come that problem.

For previous total ,check the additional event "only at paragraph beginning"
in the second page of the smartform because you need only from the second page,
and for the subtotal check "not on first page".

Problem with memory settings

Hello,
i got a brand new PC4000 PRO from corsair and i got problem setting timings with this motherboard (neo2 PFISR - bios v3.9).
I can't set CAS timing nor to 3 neither to 2, it automatically turns it back to 2.5.
It seems that there is a lot of users having the same issues with this motherboard all over the net, but they told me to post here.
Has anybody an idea why this happen and how i can fix it ?

Hi there,
For some reason the BIOS settings have a rather confusion relation.
This is what my experiences have been, please try them and report your findings:
- MAT is enabled (and overrules SPD or manual memory timings) if:
Memory clock is set to "auto" within the frequency menu AND you set your perfomance above FAST.
To get a stable system, I'd advice the following:
- Go back to default BIOS settings.
- Disable D.O.T.
- Disable Spread Spectrum
- Fix your memory frequency to what it should be (e.g. 400Mhz), and not AUTO.
- Choose SPD timings for your memory (or set them below SPD timing manually).
- Start with performance settings to SLOW.
Check memory timing settings (chipset) with AIDA or CPU-z.
Check stability with Prime95 & torture test on maximum RAM.
Once the system is table, try upping the speed setting, check the actual timings and see what happens. If you still have problems, take out one memory stick and try with just one (maybe one is faulty).
Once you got it stable, continue from here.
Keep in mind: in my experience, if you set your memory frequency at a fixed frequency and use SPD settings, you will find that upping the performance settings, changes the memory timings! However as long as the frequency is not AUTO, MAT is not enabled, whatever the performance setting.
It really confused me at first, as I could not get the system running with MAT enabled, whatever memory time I entered. But with fix memory frequency, I got the system stable with 2,2,2,5 timing!
If anyone has techdoc on these matters, I'd appreciate an URL.

Problem with Global settings panels

Using Flash player v10,1,53,64. with IE7 and Safari 5. I am trying to turn off the auto update notification as I work in an infant school and the pop-up notifications confuse the children.
Flash objects are working fine and the http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ page tells me that I have the version of Flash installed with no problem.
I then right click on an active Flash object on a web page and choose "Global settings..."
Then choose Global Notification Settings Panel... , which takes me to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager05.htm l
At this point, instead of the panel I get the "This content requires Flash" replacement item - so I can't go any further. The same sthing happens with any of the Settings panels.
So one page on the Adobe site says I have the player installed, others don't.
Help much appreciated.

I'm beginning to wonder whether this is caused by a firewall problem. I don't control the firewall settings. I've been assured by our network team that there is no block, but I'm wondering if that is right. I suppose they could have a block on flash content from not specifically authorised sites (which might well include Adobe) that would still let the Adobe site interrogate to find out the Flash version - but as I'm not 100% certain how the protocols work I can't be sure, I'll have to recheck that one.

I just installed Forms Developer 902 on Windows NT.
In registry my NLS_LANG=POLISH_POLAND.EE8WIN1250.
The Form i Menu module support my national settings
and don't have any problem with polish font.
My destination platform for OAS 902 is SUSE80 Linux.
I maked ftp binary copy *.fmb and *.mmb files from NT
to destination platform and compile everything.
But Form and Menu module not support my national settings.
Where is problem? Maybe any idea?

Problem with Blacklight-settings

I recently purchased my first IPod (30GB) and I'm having a problem with a couple of settings. The blacklight is set to switch on after 10 seconds and at the same time my Ipod starts playing music (even when the lock is on). Did I forget to change a setting? I can't seem to figure it out. If anyone could get back to me about this I would really appreciate it.

That sounds like the alarm is set if it comes on after a set time. You can find the menu options for this in -- extras--clock--alarm clock. This is where you select the play list to play on wake up.

Problem with SlideShow Settings

I've just upgraded to iPhoto'09 and it's working great, but I have a problem with the SlideShow settings:
When I choose a face, event or a place and press the "Play" button to start the slide show, I choose the settings I want (like unchecking repeat slide show and checking shuffle slide order), and check "use settings as default), when I close iPhoto or change the face, place or event, settings come back to their original status, not the ones I chose and made as default.
Any Ideas?

That's because you've set the default for that Slideshow, not all slideshows.

I have a Nokia 3110 classic .Recently I had a problem with Personal Configuration settings .
When I want to add new App types it displays "Cannot add new account.Memory Full."
So I also cannot be able to save Configuration settings as it displays"Only 70 sets allowed.Settings discarded".
So please help me.

This is a tough one! Problem with sequence settings....

OK...where to begin!
Here is some background (I have posted many questions about these issues and have resolved most of them, except this project)
1.Recently upgraded to 6.0.1
2. 'lost' my scratch disc (ok, I accidently deleted it)
3. All projects are OK to do without, except this one!
4. The footage for this project was from 2 cameras: one is DV and one is HD. The HD footage was downgraded to DV during capture from camera for the original project. Now, with 6.0.1, I bring it in HD and mix the footage on the same timeline with the DV (which is so cool and so much easier for me!) But I wanted to make sure and do the same thing I did for the original clips on this project, so when I just batch captured all the clips, I brought the HD in as DV. Both were shot wide screen.
This one sequence is 6 minutes long and I COULD recreate it, but it is very detailed and has a lot of filters, edits, etc. Here is the problem:
I did a batch capture on all the clips and successfully got all the clips back and the timeline plays, but the two different "cameras" footage looks different in the canvas: (the sequence settings are frame size: ntsc dv 3:2, pixel aspect ratio ntsc-ccir601/dv and anormorphic is checked)
The HD footage, downgraded to DV, looks fine
The DV footage is stretched, and has a bar on the top and bottom.
I have played around with the sequence settings and these are the best results i can get.
Now I made a new sequence with same settings as above and i dragged a couple different clips from the browser into the timeline and they are fine... (these clips are the same ones in the problem sequence that look stretched)
Any ideas??

I understood that the sequence looked at the first stuff dropped into it for behavior. If you dropped the problem material from the first sequence into the second sequence you created prior to dropping any thing else in then it will behave as you would expect. if you dropped footage that wasn't formatted the same as your sequence settings you get the "...would you like to ..." and the sequence settings get changed. I avoid this because some of the changes applied don't allow my Kona to playout.

Problems with server settings for IMAP account

hi
i am trying to configure Mail to work with an IMAP account. i can receive messages OK on this account, but cannot send mail. when i try to send mail i get an error message "sender verify failed".
there was an automated process for adding the account to mail which i installed, and got the following settings:
outgoing mail server: mail.soterianetwork.org
server port: 26
authentication: password
username: soteria
password: ****** (the password is correct)
the error message i get is 'sender verify failed'.
i have also tried ports 25 and 587 without success.
on the web based control panel for the mail account it says: Be sure to enable SMTP Authentication in your E-mail client or you may not be able to send mail.
not sure if i have done this. i have tried changing the outgoing mail server to smtp.soterianetwork.org, still without success
i would be grateful for some help to get this set up correctly
