Hi, got a bad deal, that activation code I received with the Adobe CS3 Master Collection from an Ebay seller is not working, what can I do? rc at [email protected].......by the way first ever here hope to get some help.

Installing GoLive CS2 with Master Collection CS3

I have just taken possession of a beautiful new system with the full Adobe Master Collection already installed by my computer guru man. The new system is very fast etc but I kept with XP 'cos had heard too many horror stories about Vista.
After getting the computer home (I live 2 hours drive away from the guru) I remembered that I forget to ask him to install my old CS2 GoLive with menumachine. I need to have GoLive (and the wonderful Menumachine) to update my GoLive sites. For a while anyway.
He thinks I should be very careful about just installing GoLive with the new CS3 collection because it could cause problems like "some of the shared components may overwrite the new CS3 versions" (whatever that means) He said I should have installed the old version of GoLive before installing CS3 to make this less likely. He said I might be best to uninstall the Master Collection. Start again and install GoLive CS2 first and then the CS3 next. He suggested I ask you.
Has anyone been down this path?
Also I still have GoLive CS2 installed and active on my old PC, will I be allowed to legally install it on the new one too? Or will that count as piracy and cause problems? I also have it on another little computer I have that I use (very rarely) as a kind of laptop.
My new computer has a two hard disks a C-drive and a D-drive - I was wondering if it would help if I installed GoLive CS2 on the D disk - everything is currently on the C disk.

If it were up to me, I would only have GL on two systems per the license
agreement.
Then, I would try installing GL CS2 and if everything works, great. If not,
then uninstall the Adobe stuff and reinstall it as your guru suggested.

Problem with Master collection.

Hello, i'm a flash animator that has been animating for 5-6 months now. My brother bought adobe master collection and has had it for months because he needs to use Premiere pro. So anyways, as i see a preview of my work, nothing comes up. I tried coming on the forums to check any solutions. Sadly, i didn't find one.I uninstalled adobe flash CS6 and I downloaded Flash CC. It was really good, and i could export my animation. So then i decided to download it again and see if it will work this time. It actually did. So things were good until flash cs6 asked to license the software. I was really confused. My other CS6 softwares don't ask for a serial when i clicked them. Like fireworks and Photoshop and Premiere pro etc... But i actually thought that if i downloaded CS6 then master collection would probably recognize it and say it's part of the Master collection pack. Have i done something wrong by deleting Flash from master collection? Can i possibly get it back? Do i need to ask my brother for the serial?

Reinstall the program/ the entire suite with a serial number. the rest is not realyl making sense. If you have technical problems, you need to provide system information or how else do you expect people to help you? Just saying that the program doesn't work (anymore) is totally meaningless.

i cannot use my key on my new MAC,, because the limit activation,, i can't deactive the key from my old MAC because my old MAC was dispose,,

Is Creative Suite Master Collection CS3 compatible with Windows 7?

Hi I was just wondering if Master Collection CS3 was compatible with Windows 7. Has it been tested and was it successful? Or were there problems with it? If so is CS4 compatible or would I have to buy the newest version? I would just like a simple answer if you could give it referring to if I can use it and if there's any problematic occurances that come with putting the two together. Thank you.

No, CS3 was never tested on Win 7 and thus is not officially compatible or certified with it. The first version to fit that criteria is indeed CS4. That doesn't mean that CS3 couldn't run at alll on Win 7, though. Many users do, but the specific level of success depends on too many factors, so nobody can give you a definitive answer. If you can afford it, just get CS6/ Creative Cloud.

The flaw is here:
corporate edition
...which essentially means it's most likely a volume license and thus not transferable in the first place. The rest is as Steve said - buying software on eBay is risky even on the best of days.

Thanks for the GREAT info!!! Just what was looking for. I probably will go with an HP d5000t since someone else on another post is using one. It is custom built to my specs, can go to 8GB RAM, and support 64 Vista. I want a high powered graphics card, but I worry about power supply.
As for crashes and other mishaps, I tried to burn a 1-hour DVD out of Encore. It took 2 1/2 hours and got to the very end of the burn process, then froze up. The same thing happened on another computer, so it is software related. Also in Encore, I accidently imported an HD menu (Party Menu HD) into a DV project. From then on it caused numerous crashes "on both PCs". Says it is a corrupted file and wants me to delete it from the project. It will not clear or delete, and even pops up after opening new or archived projects. I finally just got it to burn all the way through after removing a slideshow from the project, but the currupted file is still there even after deleting the 3.0 presets and library folder.
I have Procoder 3 for batch conversions, which is awesome! It has a plug-in for CS3 Premiere, but I use the standalone as well. I wonder if it's causing any of my issues?
Premiere seems to work okay. Plays back poor quality un-rendered video. Audio is a big problem in Premiere. Editable multi-knob effects like compressors and EQ dump their presets in the middle of an edit. I guess they're called VST plug-ins? You know, if I tweek the preset values and then try to "reset" back to the original, it will set the knob settings to bizarre values.
Soundbooth works well, but haven't done too much on it. I hate having to go to another application. I start to lose track of files after they have been extracted from video. I need to come up with a renaming plan. When I try to "Edit Original" in Premiere, a video of still image file, it opens in Windows Media Player instead of the appropriate CS3 app. I don't know how to set that up.
I don't understand Bridge, although I like that it plays files in its own interface and I can get to tutorial videos. Apart from that, I prefer Windows Explorer for finding and moving files. I have not touched Version Cue from CS2 or CS3.
I like Encore and find it much more user-friendly than previous CS.
I opened up After Effects once - and never again, not on this PC. Even a single video file on the timeline, it barely played back - something like a frame a second. I though the computer was going to explode!
Photoshop seemed okay but I did nothing other than simple fixes to Encore menus. I have not tried to work any other apps because I'm afraid of an urecoverable situation.
By the way, my "other PC" is a Newtek Tricaster. ALso about 3 years old or more. It seems a little more stable than the Sony VAIO, and a good backup, but I'm taxing it too much with CS3 on top of its own stuff.
I am looking to sell the Tricaster if anyone is interested. I have no use for it these days.

You cannot use a Windows version of Master Collection CS3 on a Mac.
The platform swap policy is applicable for the latest version of the softwares and inapplicable for the older version.

I would suggest purchasing a subscription to the Creative Cloud as the new Mac you bought has Mavericks OS which has not been tested with CS3 and you might face compatibility issues.
The latest Creative Cloud version of the softwares are perfectly compatible with the latest Mac OS (Mavericks).

Installation of Master Collection CS3 (disc version for Windows) - is there any possibility of installing my legitimately purchased MC-CS3 on a new laptop without optical drive? Perhaps through a download link or will tranfering all Adobe files from my old to my new computer do the trick as well? Or do I necessarily have to buy an external optical drive? Missing Installation Disc for Master Collection CS3

Greetings....I need to reinstall the Master Collection CS3 because my PC drive got wiped out. I was just reinstalling it and realized Disc 4 is missing when I was asked to insert it. It's been a year or 2 since last time I had to install. I've looked and can't find it. No money or interest in updgrading at the moment. Can anything be done?

Want to sell Master Collection CS3

I recently purchased Master Collection CS3, Student Edition for P.C. I installed it and have been using it for about a month, but unfortunately I need the money, and would like to sell the item. If I de-activate the software, and then sell it, would the next person be able to install the software as normal?

Educational versions are usually non-transferable, so you'd better check whether it's legal for you to sell your copy.
It's possible the buyer may not be able to activate the software because you had activated the same serial number before. :/

Activate problem CS6 master collection with original product key

I have an original version of the Adobe CS6 master collection with a original product key. I use this version now or more than one year on my Imac with version Yosemite 10.10.2.
The last days i have the problem that my product key is not valid? How is that possible??
I re enter the product key for a lot of times but i can't reactievat my product.

Problems installing Master Collection CS4

I have CS4 master collection, i put in the first disk and start the installation (everything) and i keep getting a popup that says "installation error" and it asks if i want to continue installing the remaining components. I clicked continue the first time, and the error came up several times throughout the install, however it was only on the first disk that it displayd that, the 2,3,4 did not at all. Once it was done installing, it installed some of the products but said "instalation done, with errors." i clicked more info, and it said this:

I have tried using the ASA utility, reading on the adobe website for solutions, followed the one to do a clean install, edited my registry permissions like it said all to no avail. Its doing the same thing, same error message, Please help.

Try installing it on another system to confirm that it's not your DVD drive that's having a problem. You'll see pretty quickly if error messages appear (you said it began on the 1st disk). If it's the DVD drive then just go buy a new one. They're pretty cheap.

Problem with OData Collection in Template Customization Web IDE

Hi Experts,
I created my simple service in SEGW and I try use it in the application created in SAP Web IDE.
I'm creating new project from menu File, New, Project from Template. I'm choosing SAP Fiori Master Detail Application giving a name of project.
I have a problem with step 3rd - Data Connection and 4th - Template Customization. I can easily select the system (which previously plugged) and the service, but in the next step I have problem. In step fourth I can't add OData Collection for Master or Detail Section.
In my opinion my system is connected properly, because other (any) services allows me to choose a Odate Collection - including those created by me alone in SEGW.
I'll add that service which allow to choose OData Collection was created using BAPI. Service which are posing the problem was created from DDIC Structure, but I don't know if it's relevant. Furthermore, all services created by me have implemented the methods GET_ENTITYSET and GET_ENTITY.
Can You help me?

What's more, my service show data stored in collection dirrectly in browser at
http://<destination>:<port>/sap/opu/odata/sap/Z_Service_Name_XXX/Collection_Name_XXX
and in GW Client.
