Problems with metalink patches

Hi
I´m Havig problems finding the patches for my Oracle DB version(10.2.0.1),OS:Windows 2003 Server, I need to certify these server and migrate from version 10.2.0.1 to the most recent version
Iinvestigated that the patchset name is p4547817_10202_WINNT.zip but if i look for it in metalink i dont find it
dose a bundle patch exist?
how and which patches should i install?

In addition to the previous answers the most recent patchset is 10.2.0.3 (not 10.2.0.2) with patchnumber 5337014.

Problem with CS5 patch tool

Hi, I have this annoying problem with the patch tool that whenever I use it, i.e., drag the selected area to a new location it pastes the selected area as if it were smudged, such as feathered, and I practically can't use it. I have checked the selection and it is not feathered, but still, the selection being pasted is smudged. Any settings that I am not aware of?

The Patch (content aware) tool is affected by the area around your selection. To get around the problem, make a selection of the beak and he surround without the bird and put it on a separate layer as shown here. Then select the beak and apply the Patch command. Without the dark bird for reference, you will get the result you want.

Problem with installing patch SP1b

Hello All,
I have a development server running on XP pro with live cycle 8.0.1. I 'm facing a problem while installing patch SP1b to that server. I have attached the log file.
My problem is
I copied a process' .lca file from a server running on windows server 2003 with patch installed and deployed on the development server. Now in my development XP box, workspace is opening but when i tried to open the process, before rendering the pdf form it is giving "An error occurred during the operation (endpoint id 401). (ALC-WKS-007-027)" error. I have even crosschecked the input xfaform variable also; every thing is perfect. The details are as below:

Svg line chart problem with latest patch?

Hi team,
I was checking out one page containing an SVG chart that I didn't modify in 2 weeks, according to the application builder, but it seems to hang after displaying the first line series of 4 total.
It was working before the last patch was installed.
It's page 65 of application 21670 in the online environment.
Choose "automobile" from the first drop down list and click on the button, the chart appears but then it seems to be waiting for something to download.
If you move the mouse over any textual part, you can see in the status line the following message:
"xml processing instuction not at start of external entity: line 172, column 0".
If you open up the SVG source by right clicking on the chart, you will see at the end of the file an error text message returned by oracle (ORA-06502), but what is particularly strange is the presence of an <?xml> processing instruction just in the middle of the source code listing.
It looks like it is trying to append the second chart series by appending another svg source file.
Could you check if I did anything wrong or if it is a problem of the patch?
I have got other chart type running without problems.

Things are getting complicated.
I found some cases where the chart is displayed correctly, which made me think of some unexpected values returned by the underlying queries.
Since my chart is made up of 4 different series returning 12 points each, I assembled the queries with UNION ALL and checked out what was returned both in a failing case and a successful one but I can't figure out a valid explanation, the only thing I notice is that in the failing case there are some values higher than average, say 10 times bigger than the average value and for some reason the chart stops drawing points exactly after the peak value (1155.62, see below).
Each series returns exactly 12 points, some nulls, but that's doesn't seem to be the problem.
I wonder if the problem is with the "autoscale" algorithm, but I am lost at the moment...

Problem with a patch solution

I have a problem. when made patch of the solution. I was to make change in a web service and save and active. When i tried make assemble and download customer/specific solution the changes not work because i don't see some fields I added in the web service. i don't know what's happened. I hope you can help me with this topic.

I checked the patch and it is enabled and the original solution is not enabled, the problem is i added some fields to a web service, but when i doing request to the web service. I don't see the new fields. This in the tenant that i generated the patch.

Problem with a patch for Creative Media Explorer for Ze

Has anyone had any problems with their PC (rebooting itself after install and getting a blue screen) when downloading and installing the update for Creative Media Explorer for Zen M to fix the album art problem for WMP?I downloaded this update per a response I got to thread here:http://forums.creative.com/creativel...ssage.id=79299?I downloaded the patch to update Creative Media Explorer. I was going to upgrade WMP to after that?but my PC got stuck at the startup screen during boot up. The hard dri've light indicator was on solid also. I thought maybe the dri've had died since I have had it for quite some time now. I took the dri've out and put it in an external enclosure I have that connects via USB. I was able to get into BIOS and set the boot order to boot from a USB dri've. When it started to boot up, it looked as if it was going to come up but it didn't. I seen a flash of a blue screen and the PC rebooted itself. I'm wondering if the update is causing the OS to hose up on start up. That's why I'm just wondering if anyone has downloaded this update with any problems. The update can be found here: http://us.creative.com/support/downl...ype=3&x=40&y=7. It is number 5. I'm currently defraging my dri've and I am somehow going to try and repair the OS if I can and uninstall Media Explorer and reinstall. Oh one other thing, it will not boot into safe mode either.

I downloaded the patch and installed it on my PC and everything worked like a charm, and right after that my music started showing Album Art.However, I still didn't replace the new firmware on my Zen Vision M (.6) and I wonder if I should, since everything seems to work wonderfully well at this point?

Photoshop CC 2015 Keeps Failing to Install: Problem With a Patch

Hi all,
I tried to install Photoshop. I got pretty far but then the installing stopped and bright orange letters popped up saying Installation Failed or something similar to that. I clicked on the Learn More link next to the message.
It said there was a problem with one of the patches, so it failed to install. It told me to re-try in a few minutes.
A few minutes later, I re-tried it and now it says Update Failed - Learn More. I kept re-trying and it ends up doing the same thing over and over.
It told me to contact customer support.
..so here I am.
How do I fix this?

Problem with kernel patch 127128-11

I am a bit stomped trying to install this patch successfully.
I log into single user mode.
The patch file is currently located in "/var/sadm/spool"
when I run "patchadd 127128-11" i get the following:
"Patch 127128-11 failed to install due to a failure produced by pkgadd."

When I try installing the patch using smpatch with: "smpatch add -i 127128-11"
I get the following error:
"Patch 127128-11 failed to install due to a failure produced by pkgadd."
"PaTch_MsG 23 Patch number 127128-11 cannot be applied until all restricted patches are backed out."

Problems with 8iEE patch on RH 6.0

I'm admittedly a linux rookie so be gentle :)
I get the following when trying to run the patch:
[oracle@slowrage orapatch]$ echo $ORACLE_HOME
/usr/local/oracle/
[oracle@slowrage orapatch]$ ./linux_81501patch_ee.sh
You are upgrading Oracle 8i Enteprise Edition to 8.1.5.0.1
Please set ORACLE_HOME and run this script from the directory,
where you have extracted the patch files.
Missing patch files.....
Oracle home is set so why would I get this error?
And Im running the patch from this dir:
[oracle@slowrage orapatch]$ ls
bin/ linux_81501patch_ee.sh* network/ sqlplusp/
lib/ linux_81501patch_ee.tgz rdbms/

Hi,
I found out that in second part of the patch script, they are
counting how many file are in this directory... and there is
condition whether there are 38 files.... but actually there are
40... so I changed the line
filecnt = 38 for filecnt = 40.
Then it continued but with another problem.... like
it could find gmake ...

Problem with latest patch, Mozilla won't fit on 1024*768

Today (13/07/04) after the Mozilla patch, the display of the explorer is get bigger. I use 1024*768 on desktop. Now I have to scroll sideways to see the full page...

Problems with applying patches

After installing the Oracle 8.1.5 software on a Redhat 6.1 server I try to apply the patches I downloaded from technet.
After I applied these patches, nothing seems to work. The lsnrctl is missing, Oracle has changed to Oracle0, and when I start the server manager I get an error ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

Sounds like your the patches you have applied have failed to compile.
You Can -
1 Re apply the patches to se if the executables appear.
2 Re - Install Oracle and forget you ever saw the patches(Make sure they are not patches you need)
3 Try to find any other 0 files and move them back to their original names. (Note the patches will not be installed if you put the original exe's back)

Were do we report problems with wrong patches being recommended by UM?

I guess for the most part is bad metadata that these patches make it down to us.
But what's the best procedure to get these to be looked at ?
Also, if we have a support contract, should we do it via those channels ?

How can I update AA Patch 6.0.1? I do not have Acrobat 6.0 CD and it does not want to update without CD.

Problems with Sun Patch Manager 2.0 on Solaris 8 (on a 280R)

I've installed SPM 2.0 on two identical 280R's.
It works fine on one, but on the other, I get the following error:
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sun/net/ssl/internal/ssl/Provider
at com.sun.patchpro.model.PatchProAccessor.<init>(PatchProAccessor.java:33)
at com.sun.patchpro.cli.PatchServices.instantiateModel(PatchServices.java:589)

I don't know anything about Java and am having some trouble trying to fix this issue. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
