Problems with moving pictures on a layout grid

Hello,
currently I am switching from windows golive5 to mac os x golive 9.
In my "older" version I could move pictures on a layout grid by using the arrow keys (klick on right arrow one time moved the picture one step right...)
In my new Version this function is just working on pictures without a border.
If there is a border (HTML border=...) around the picture the picture is scaling bigger an bigger by using any arrow key.
So my only chance to move these pictures on the grid is by mouse or remove the border, move them by the arrow keys, and recreate the border...
Even the manual input of the grid position (using Y=50 X=50) by clicking on these arrows or input the numbers directly in the toolbar is scaling the picture.
Is this a bug? Can I do anything to work like in GoLive 9, just moving every Object by arrow keys?

Wow, looks like a bug to me! The image enlarges by the combined values of the border whenever it is shifted - with the nudge arrows or not - and that can only be called a bug. I'd just uncheck the border button in the Inspector, move the image and then turn on the border again.
I can't find the bug report page on Adobe.com for the life of me right now. Does anyone know where it has gone?

There are a few things that are confusing in your question.
As far as I know, you dont have to install Time Machine on this OS as it is already installed for you. You only need to connect a hard drive to your computer via firewire or usb, click on the Time Machine icon, Open Time Machine Preference in the drop down menu and select a disk: your connected hard drive.
You can of course reformat this connected device, partition it into a few volumes to organise data if you so wish.
I find it strange that your mac's hard drive is divided into two volumes... perhaps this was created through bootcamp?
You can access the configuration of your hd through Applications/Utilities/Disk Utilities.
Clicking on one of the icons on the right hand panel will bring the details of the contents of your hardDrive and volumes. From there you can decide to erase a partition, reformat etc....
If your hd contains more than one volume, and one of them is empty, you could decide to remove it. Back up all your important data before doing so.

Problem with displaying picture.

I use PS-CC and LR5.on a HP i7 computer and windows 7.Camera D-800, pictures in raw.
I usually import pictures in nef in LR5,. After some corrections, I export my pictures to DNG format. I sometimes do a little bit of work in camera raw then go into Photoshop.
My problem: When in photoshop, I get a grainy version of my photo which wasn't the situation in LR5 or Camera raw, Hard to work with. The grains will disappear when I enlarge the picture but then I have to enlarge it so much that I only see or can work with only part of my picture. The problem does not appear in CS6.
Hope somebody can help me.

I should clarify this.. When I import photos into LR5, I always use copy as
DNG. I know that NEF and DNG are the same for photoshop and I always shoot
in raw.
One thing I do not know is how to do a screen shot. I will get back tro you
on that. When I say grain, or noise if you like, I mean that, if i relate
to films, my picture in LR5 would be at ISO 100 and my screen shot in
photoshop would look like it was boosted to 1200 or worse.

Problems with moving directories

Hi, i have a problem with moving one subdirectory from one directory to another. Here is the code

Needing help with moving pictures around

I am in need of help in moving pictures and images around
dreamweaver document window. My older brother gave me his computer
witch has dreamweaver MX (he is in Irag) so i can start building
building my own websites. I went to borders and bought a book on
dreamweaver MX. Here is where I am having a problem with: when ever
I bring a picture into the document window I can not move the
picture around the document window. The book say "place the
insertion point where you want the image to appear" but there is no
insertion point. There is just a straight line as if I am about to
type something. It's almost like I am in microsoft word. If I take
the mouse over the picture , and then left click and try to drag
the picture to the location I want it in, it doesn't move. Can

Nadia gave you a good place to start… Here is what you
have to understand. Web pages are based on specific code that tells
the viewer’s browser how to display the page. There has to be
something that says, “Put this picture in the lower right
hand corner, and center this image in the middle of the
screen”
Then there are further instructions that say “Put this
text here and that link there”. So Dreamweaver (and most
other web developing programs) do not work like Illustrator or
PowerPoint where you can simply grab a picture and slide it around
the page.
In its simplest form you might drag an image onto the
Dreamweaver design view page and click on the center button in the
properties dialog.
Then type in text and center it, left justify, right justify,
etc. Add another picture and so on and you could possibly create a
passable web page. Now click on the Code view button and see what
code Dreamweaver generated in order to do all of this.
That is what you will really need to understand before you
can really get proficient at web design.
At the next level, you can start to add in tables. These
actually are similar to tables in Word. You can put text in one
cell, images in another, colored backgrounds, thick and thin
borders with contrasting colors, and you can start to see how to
“contain” your images as Nadia suggests.
Now look at the code again and see how these cells are
defined around your content.
Once you understand how this works, you will get much more
comfortable with Dreamweaver. You will just have to get used to the
idea that it doesn’t work like all of the publishing software
that is only dependant upon its own format for layout. HTML is
dependant upon the many browsers, computers, operating systems,
user preferences, and a million other unknown factors.

Problems with simple picture gallery

I've got a website project where the client wanted a picture
gallery. I don't really do much with Flash so I went on the web and
found a tutorial on how to get what I want. Problem is that the
instructions I followed are fairly old so I couldn't export my
movie any higher than AS2 and Flash 6 and have it work. That would
be fine except that I wanted to use a feature that requires Flash 8
or higher, namely a gradient mask. I was hoping that I could post
my code and have the board gurus help me out with what i need to do
to get everything working together.
First you'll want to create a movie using AS2 and Flash 8 to
see what I'm trying to accomplish, then export it again with Flash
6 to see it actually working. You can grab a copy of what I'm

you're not likely to get anyone in this forum to check your
file.
if there's not code problem, and you can't publish for flash
8, there will be an error message. if you can publish for flash 8,
you see no error message but your application fails to work
correctly, you must have a problem with code.

Problems with the pictures in automatic mode

I bought an xperia Z1 just a few days ago, I just find a problem with the camera flash, when I take a picture in automatic mode.
failure is, when a picture is taken in autmomatic mode, the right side of the picture, left with a bright white shadow, wich is ruining the photos.
I need your help, Its so frustrating, I thought I had made the right decision when I bought this computer, but apparently not

Problem with saving picture in Vision Builder

hello
I'm using Vision builder and i'm trying to save picture with Image Logging. And i made ftp server that picture could be save. In folder path I write location where I want that picture save. But problem is, that picture does not saves in that location where I want.
Could anybody help me?

Try to remove VBAI from Folder path and leave this setting just empty. Then your images should be written into root directory. Also you have selected option "Log images when inspection status FAIL". May be your status PASS? In this case images will be not logged. Try to change this option to "Log Image".

Problem with business catalyst product shop layout?

I have set up a shop in business catalyst, but I am having trouble getting all the products to display on one page, 3 have moved to a second page, but left gaps on the previous page where they should fit in? Adobe support told me to post this on the forum, saying to 'alter the css and have it checked out', has anyone else had this problem? How do I fix this?
I have had this issue before and was told to weight the products, which then worked ok last time. So I now weight all product enteries, it's fine on all other pages of product catalogues in the shop, but this seems to be happeneing again on this one? See link below: page 2 from the engineered section, page 1 is fine, page 2 has gaps?

Problem after moving "Pictures" to a different drive.

Windows Vista. Photoshop Elements 4.0.
I, foolishly it seems, moved my Pictures folder from c drive to d drive. There are several thousand pictures.
When I then started Photoshop Organiser the program immediately went in to a search . While doing this the priogram would not accept any commands and could only be closed through Task Manager. I left it running for several hours but there was no change. I am not even sure that it was doing anything - there didn't appear to be any processor activity. But if it was searching through the whole computer for each photo in turn this could take weeks!
I then moved the pictures folder back to its original location. This did not solve the problem. The program just went into this endless search.
I then uninstalled the program and reinstalled it assuming that with a clean sheet I could point the program to my pictures folder and all would be well. However this didn't work. As soon as I started the program it went into this endless search again! I noticed that it had picked up my Collections from the previous installation so I guess there must be some data or index files somewhere that were not deleted in the uninstall and told the program to look for my pictures.
Any suggestions as to what I can do now?

PSE 4 is not supported on Vista. PSE 5 and above are. That may be part of your problem.
Did you move the pictures folder to precisely its original location? Are the path names exactly the same? I would expect that moving the folder back would solve the problem.
If you are familiar with MS Access you can use that to edit your .psa file and change drive letters. I believe Open Office has a database program that will work also.
Did you do a file>catalog>recover at any point? That often clears up catalog problems.

Problem with "Save picture as"

To explain my problem I have created this application BSP.

When I executed my application I want save the picture. I press the right botton over the picture and I choose "Save picture as". The name of the picture is
"untitled" and Save as type is ".bmp". I need save it with the original name and type. If I refresh the page I can save it with original name and type.
Could I refresh the page in my application?
Could I resolve my problem in another way?

ok, i've narrowed down the problem, it seems that when i try and save a file onto one partition of one of my ext drives it won't save to my last save dir but if i save to another partition/drive it works ok, also if i rename the 'dodgy' partition it also seems to work ok, so somehow the name of the drive has become corrupted.
anybody ever heard of this? or how i could fix this as it's a quite annoying because alot of my audio files are referenced on this partition, so itunes or Cubase (audio sequencer) can't find my files now.

Problem with scaling picture

i got this little programm which opens an image. now, unfortunatelly almost all pictures are to big to fit in a frame. therefore i tryed to scale it. for some reason i get this outofmemoryerror. i have absolutely no clue how i could solve this problem.

Problem with Mail and customized keyboard layout

I have created a customized keyboard layout in XML, it loads and works perfectly with all applications except Apple Mail. I noticed on a googlegroup that somebody has the same problem. How can I submit this Mail bug to Apple?

download and run Find Any File to search for "Antidote".
FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't like invisible folders, system folders and packages. Any file you find will be in the search results window and can be dragged to the Desktop and then to the Trash bin.

Interlace problems with moving objects using iDVD

I had an MP4 file (created by a 3rd party) from a Hi-8 analog tape which has some interlace artifacts on moving images (left image of boy) but not too bad. When the MP4 files was imported into iMovie 11 the interlace artifacts smoothed somewhat - that was OK (right image of boy). The camera was still and the boy was moving. Vertical lines on stationary objects are OK in all images. These are screen captures from the Mac of the mp4 played through quicktime and the same file imported into iMovie 11 and played. I paused both to take the screen capture.
The completed project in iMovie 11 looked OK when previewed prior to rendering. These are 20 year old videos so my expections were being met.   I rendered the project with iDVD to the hard drive first and then to a DVD with the same poor imaging result on the moving object. I am using a new Macbook Pro I bought in early January which came with iMovie 11 and iDVD Ver 7.1.2 (1158). Running Mac OS X 10.7.3 Macbook Pro 2.3 Ghz Corei7   8GB 1333 Mhz DDR3.
I couldn't screen capture from the MAC DVD player screen to illustrate the poor result (got a checkerboard screen) so I took a photo of the screen and imported that (below). The moving boy on the left is from an iMovie 11 screen capture, the image on the right is the moving boy from the rendered DVD I paused on the Mac (and took a pic of).
Below a close up of the poorly rendered moving boy viewed on the resultant DVD. This translates into a horrible rendition of any quick moving object. It happens with any moving image - i.e. a pan across a room with straight vertical lines like edges of a wall will show as serrated and poorly rendered edge. I used a trial version of the Daniusoft DVD creator with the same result! I am at a loss on how to resolve this issue. Any thoughts out there??
I had previously used Pinnacle Studios on my old XP PC which worked great on other tape's Mpeg files and created great DVD's (never had an interlace problem) ... until my computer died ..... so I figured Apple and associated software should be at least equal if not a superior product.   Now I'm not too sure!

PROBLEM WITH MOVING AVERAGE PRICE

Hi,
Correct me if Im wrong, but from what I know the moving average price should only change or be recalculated when purchases or goods_recipts are made, otherwise items should be consumed at a FIXED moving average price (cost).
I´ve noticed when looking into the Inventory Audit Report that the moving average price is changing in my installations and I see that SAP BO recalculates it every time an issue is made. This last thing only happens when the total amount of the transaction is rounded or left with 0 decimals and the other types such as prices, rates, quantities, percent, etc. are left with 2 or 3 decimals.
Because of my country settings, the total amount has to have 0 decimals (I live in Chile and we dont have cents in our currency) and the moving average price of an Item should not change when an issue is made, can you help me with this?

The difference between what it shoud be and what SAP BO is calculating is our concern, ie: let´s say the number of transactions is 100, would that difference be negligible?
Here is an example:
Goods issue:

Note that coma (,) is decimal separation and period (.) is the mile separator.
Where the 3rd line is the quantity of the goods issue, the 4th is the moving average, and the 5th is the total quantity of the issue.
So you see 10,49 x 1748 = 1748,39977= 1748(SAP) and then SAP BO recalculates the AVG. Price.
The problem I was talking about was the difference of the stock AVG Price with one hundred transactions or so... now the difference seems negligible (166,7 - 166,681 = 0,011).
Can you see it changes?, is that a bug?
