Problems with music library and lost purchased music

Although my music appears somewhat OK on my IPOD, when I try to listen via my computer(windows vista)when I click on the song, it says it cant find the original music. When I go to the music folders, some music appears and some does not. Also, some of my purchased music is missing and when I sync up, all of it does not get back to my iphone and library appears to be worthless on my computer...HELP Please

Problems with itunes library and order of tracks

Hello,
I downloaded the new update, and I'm having a problem with my library when accessed from the browser. Before itunes 7, my tracks were in order that they appeared on the album, now they are in alphabetical order. Is there a way to make it go back the way it was before the update--in order by track number?

I was having the same problem and I knew there had to be an easy answer. I knew it for sure when I saw your topic unanswered. Just right click, or control click on the bar where it says name, album, genre, etc. and select "track number," this will give you the option to put them in their original order.
You can also access this under "view options" in the view pull down menu.

I have songs purchased thru iTunes in 2007 under an old and no longer used ID. They all appear in the list of purchased music but will not match and appear as DRM files on my Mac (hence the error). How do I get this resolved?

What do I need to do to authorize my new computer to play these songs with my current ID?

You can't. The old songs are associated with the ID under which they were originally purchased, and there is no way to change it.
You will have to authorize your computer for both the old and new IDs.

Problems with WMP library and "album" view.

Hello everyone! I've been searching for the reason of my problems, but I didn'tt found anything satisfacting, so i decided to ask u - i'm new here, so if it's the next post about next boring and obvious thing, I apologise
Well... I'm a happy user of Zen Player for more than a year, but now I've got new OS - Vista(and I'm not so happy about this) and here my problems starts:
I used to add covers of albums by grabbing and dropping covers' pictures into the icons of albums that had shown by choosing album view. Now it's not avaiable - I found here that it won't be possible, just by synchronizing player with Windows Media Player library. But when I think I've synchronized it, library is still empty!
My most important questions:
Is there any patch or something like that to make me possible adding covers like I used to?
Is there any other ways to add them, except special programs?

Not sure are you talking about the program library or the players? To add cover art to the icon find the picture (one the net) right-click choose copy image? go to the album icon right-click choose paste albumart.You then have to celet the album from the player & re-sync it to get the art to show

Problems with Lightroom Library and Vista

I have imported various photos in my Lightroom library but if I try to search some specific photos with the Keyword Tags or with Metadata Browser or also when I click on "All Photographs" to see all the photos together, no photo is showed on the grid.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I have windows Vista; is it maybe a Vista bug?

It's more likely that you have a filter set. Double check that, and you'll probably see the images.

Problems with NiMath-library and Evaluation version

I'm evaluating Measurement Studio with the Evaluation version together with Visual Studio .NET 2003 (VC++). Always when I write a program that uses functions in the NiMath library I got problems when linking. I got the same errors when I try to build any of the including Math examples. When I'm not using functions in NiMath everything works.
Example
I create a project and add the following lines
CNiReal64Vector m_wave;
CNiMath:ineWave(m_wave, 100, 1);
When i build the following errors appears:

Hello!
I couldn’t find anything reported about this on our portal but I found some similar issues that might help you out.
Things to check:
Linking directories are not set correctly. Go to Tools>>options>>directories and add all the directories for the include files and lib files. This should get your program linking up.
Have you made sure that all of the necessary .lib files are properly linked to?
In order to resolve this external symbol you will have to provide the necessary files to the linker by either listing the files in your project file list (right-click on your project in the file view and select "add files to project...") or by going into your project's settings and entering the path to the files for which to link (go to Project >> Settings..., select the Link tab, select Input from the drop-down menu, and put the paths you want to add in the Additional Library Path field).

Problem with J9 library and lists

Hi all,
I'm currently developing an application using IBM J9 library over a Psion WAP devide (Windows CE 4.2), over personal profile 1.0, and I have found a couple of issues regarding the use of awt.List:
- When I create a list that supports multiple selections, vertical scroll pane is never shown, although there are a lot of elements in the list
- If I do exactly the same but with single selection, the scrollpane is shown
Horizontal scroll pane is never shown although elements size is too high comparing to list width.
Not sure whether those are bugs or whether I'm doing something wrong.
Has somebody seen similar behaviour?

Problems with Aperture Library

My iMac crashed as I was importing some pictures. When I restarted it said there was a problem with the library and it needed to be repaired. After the repair I find that when I open Aperture I get an error message:There was an error opening the database for the library “/Users/samswallow/Pictures/Aperture Library.aplibrary”. I quit that and Aperture closes. I have reinstalled Aperture and it makes no difference. All my photos are still there in Aperture Library Masters and can be seen in Preview. I would value any help on this.

Did you do a repair or a rebuild? And did the action complete normally?
I would do the permissions repair then the library repair again and if you still get the errors do the rebuild. Note before doing the rebuild you should have a backup of your library. While it rarely happens rebuilds can make things worst.

It should ne in itunes on your computer and included in your regular backup of your computer.
If for some reason you have failed to backup your music, then - in the U.S only - you can get previous itunes purchases from the beta version of icloud. Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links.

Problems with music on iOS8?

Hi!
I'm currently using iOS8.0 on my iPhone 5 and have had problems with music deleting frequently and my phone freezing when I try to re-download it. for some reason it's only letting me have about 70 songs at any given point, but if I have more than that then the next time I open the music app I tend to find a lot of them have been deleted? This is incredibly irritating as I frequently use my phone for music, also whemever I'm downloading songs it tends to freeze my phone and I have to restart it.
I've tried updating to 8.2 but it's not letting me currently.
Any suggestions?

Right click on your iPad's name in the iTunes app on your computer and choose to transfer purchases. That should transfer anything that you have bought with the App Store app on the iPad to the iTunes app on your computer.

Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.

3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
If that does'nt help log into another user account on your Mac and try iPhoto from there.

Problem with CSV file and Ostermiller library

Hello, I'm using Ostermiller library to generate file with csv format.
The problem is that this library seems to have a bug when it comes to data including the character carriage return.
For example I try to record a file with the following data:
Field1 = Text1
Field2 = This is
a long text including
carriage return
characters
Theoritically the file should looks like this:
Text1,"This is
a long text including
carriage return
characters"
But the library creates the following:
Text1, This is\ra long text including\rcarriage return\rcharacters
The \r you can see in not 0x0D but 0x5C 0x72 !!!!!!
This is not a correct CSV format and then I cannot reopen the file correctly with Excel.
Did you already see this problem with this library?
Any idea?

when I open this text in notepad. It formats properly when I open in excel as follows
