Problems with music on iPad 2, iPhone 4 is fine
I recently subscribed to iTunes Match.
I have 19GB of music in iTunes, and after a few days of uploading/matching, it reported all my music was now in the cloud.
On my iPhone 4, all my music was already on my phone, and it all shows up just as it always did. If I delete a track, it then shows with a cloud icon and I can downlod it again. Perfect.
However, on my iPad, all my music was already on there as well, but since syncing with iTunes Match enabled, about half my albums were duplicated, half the tracks with a cloud icon, half without.
I turned off iTunes Match and re-synced all my iPad to make sure all the music was on there, then turned it back on. Now the albums aren't duplicated but half of them have a cloud icon and I can only listen to them if I download them. When I plug my iPad in the bar at the bottom showing the content breakdown now says my iPad has 35GB of music??
Any idea what's going on?
Do you have automatically sync enabled for your iPad? I'd turn it off. I don't use it, but a lot of people who have been trying to do a USB sync after enabling iTunes Match are reporting problems.
Also, go into the settings for your Music app and toggle the switch that by default shows you what you have available for download as well as what you have local. The other way it will show you only what you have locally on the iPad. That may help figure it out.

Problems with music tracks on Video Ipod that worked fine on ipod mini
Just got a video ipod on Christmas. Have owned an ipod mini for two years.
Transferred music and playlists from Itunes Library into the new video ipod.
I'm finding that some of the audio tracks that played fine on the ipod mini are
experiencing problems on the Video ipod. The commonality among the problem tracks are that they were custom tracks I made through Final Cut Pro and exported out as AIFF's. I then used the "Convert to AAC" function in ITunes to change them to AAC before putting them on the ipod mini. Again, these all played fine on the ipod mini. These problem tracks also tend to be long....50 minutes or more...they're comedy albums transferred into Final Cut Pro from off-air VCR/DVR tapings and are one long track.
These same files, while AAC, have problems starting up on the video ipod,
freeze the display and menu controls for a few seconds, or won't play at all. Other normal tracks from CD's or the Itunes store are fine.
Any correction ideas would be appreciated.

I have a problem with the synchronisation of my iPhone and iPad with Outlook 2007 on my 64-bit Windows 7 PC. For several years,
I have had no problems with the synchronisation by cord connection and iTunes between these programmes. However, a few months ago I decided to use Mobile Me. However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation. All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things. I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether. I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone. Do you have any suggestions?In the control panel goto the "Lenovo - Power Manager" and click the battery tab, there is a maintenance button in there that will let you change the charging profile for your battery. (from memory, so exact wording may be off)
The lower the numbers you use there, the longer the battery *should* last. These batteries degrade faster at higher charge levels, however storing them at too low of levels is also not good for them... I've read that 40% is optimal, but just not realistic if you use your computer.

I just got a Touch 32GB yesterday and ran into the same problem. I have two PCs in the house that I can sync my iPods on, but I normally use one that DOESN'T have an internet connection, so that the one that does is free for others to use ... a great argument and tension solution, btw.
Anyway, I hooked up the older "iTunes" PC to the net for a first-time sync with the Touch, and ran into this problem. First it kept detecting the Touch as an unidentified iPhone, then I couldn't sync my classic either. Then I found a post here about how when multiple USB ports running off same USB controller seem to screw with the Touch/iPhone syncing.
So I disconnected all but 2 of my USB 2.0 slots (the Touch & the Portable HD with my iTunes Library) and now it's working perfectly. I don't know if this will solve your problem, but it might be worth a try. -

I'm currently using iOS8.0 on my iPhone 5 and have had problems with music deleting frequently and my phone freezing when I try to re-download it. for some reason it's only letting me have about 70 songs at any given point, but if I have more than that then the next time I open the music app I tend to find a lot of them have been deleted? This is incredibly irritating as I frequently use my phone for music, also whemever I'm downloading songs it tends to freeze my phone and I have to restart it.
I've tried updating to 8.2 but it's not letting me currently.

Problems with the new iPad and Joikuspot premium after iOS 6
Hi,
I'm experiencing serious problems with my new iPad after last iOS update. Usually I was connecting to the internet through Joikuspot premium on Nokia mobile phone (E6). I was able to do everything, https sites surfing, absolutely everything with no exceptions.
Now, after iOS 6 update, I can't connect to https sites, google+, sync calendar etc.
I've tried to change connection criteria on joikuspot but nothing. The fact is also that other devices as laptop or other smartphones are still working perfectly, in any case, sharing the wi-fi connection created by joikuspot.
Finally the problem is 100% due to the iPad and the new iOS.
disappointing, amateur for such a device... (iPad I mean).
Any help?

I have a 64GB iPad Air WiFi+Cellular (Verizon), and I don't see the issues you are describing. First I would suggest that you update your iPad to the newest iOS update. If that doesn't help, then you may want to schedule an appointment at an Apple Genius Bar. If you go this route, I suggest that you let the iPad sleep for long enough for the problem to arise before you go to your appointment.
