Problems with my (now talktalk) pop.orangehome.co.uk POP3 setting

I am now a talktalk customer however I continue to use the pop.orangehome.co.uk for my incoming email setting.I have set up a website containing a form. Up until yesterday all form submissions arived in my MS Outlook inbox.However this is no longer the case, form submissions no longer arrive. I tried changing the form's destination address to my Hotmail addresss and found this to be working fine.Can you please tell me why pop.orangehome.co.uk no longer works? Best regards Maxwell

    Hi Ciaran19,
    Are you sending files from the Adobe Send interface, Adobe Reader, or the Outlook plug-in?
    Have you checked to see whether the files that you're sending appear in the Recent Files/Sent Files list when you're logged on to https://cloud.acrobat.com? (It could be that they're uploading, but not being sent.)
    It would also be worthwhile to send the files in smaller batches, to see whether a particular file or files is problematic, and causing the error.
    Please let us know how it goes. If you're still having trouble, please let us know where you're sending from, and whether you're able to send the files in smaller batches. It would also be helpful to know the exact error message that you're receiving.

  • Problem with yahoo! SMTP POP server mail account on new upgraded iphone 4.3.5

    PLEASE HELP!
    I am a California AT&T wireless customer with a new iphone 4 on the iOS 4.3.5 upgraded system and suddenly I am unable to successfully add my Yahoo! email account and have it configured to send/receive my emails.  I was able to successfully add my gmail and Microsoft exchange server account, but only problems with the Yahoo!  I checked all the settings, have done several add/delete accounts, restore network settings, and retry/reboots, to no avail.  This is a seriously annoying problem, it worked with the pre-upgraded older version fine without any problems ever.  I continually get the same error message:  SERVER UNAVAILABLE, please try again later.
    I know this error is inaccurate because all my other email accounts work fine as well as Safari and all other internet connections and apps.  It is not a phone thing, it is some yahoo and upgraded software incompatibility issue that no one seems to have resolved yet.
    This is a SMTP PUSH POP account, and I have literally tried everything.  I have tried all the fixes while connected to wifi, and then tried them just via my 3G cell network connection.  I read on a message board about turning on/off SSL, could someone tell me how to do that?  When I go into to:
    settings>mail accounts>outgoing mail server SMTP>Yahoo! SMTP, everything is grayed out and I can't change any ports or SSL.
    When I try to manually add a server, which I was told was a fix, I don't know what to type into the host name.  Does anyone know how to help?
    I have seen this problems on numerous message boards, even in the UK.  I contacted Apple Support, with no success in resolving this problem, had an open case for several days contacted several supervisor personnel, all advised me to contact Yahoo! who do not offer customer care via telephone only online, and nothing there helped to resolve my issue.

    Yahoo's servers have been having problems off and on now for close to a month if not longer. There's not much you can do about it except talk to Yahoo, which is kind of like beating your head against a wall.  They've had problems like this off and on since as far back as the mid 90's. I gave up on them long ago. Just convert to something else and dump them. It's not worth the headache.

    I'm from Sweden and I'm having problems with a website my union has. I have been able to see messages from them before but they've changed their adress and on the site they tell people they have to put the new adress on the approved list for pop-up windows. I have done so but it's still not working. Maybe I've done it wrong, I don't know but it's annoying as hell that I can't see the messages they send.
    I really need help with this.

  • Problem with the "now playing"-function after timer sleep-mode

    At first: sorry for my english.
    I have the following problem with the Nano 6G: I set the timer of my iPod Nano to shut it down after a while of playing. When I turn it back on afterwards, the now-playing-button does not show the song that it played at last. Instead of that the nano is automatically set to shuffle mode which was not activated before and the now-playing-button will show any other song randomly.
    This does not happen when I switch it to sleep-mode with the button on the top, only when the sleepmode ist activated by the timer.
    Does anyone notice the same issue with his nano? How can I bring my nano to play the same song after the sleepmode, that it played before?

    Hey Ipaqman, that strange behavior of the Nano 6G annoys me for exactly the same reason: audiobook in bed + sleeptimer = losing the place. As You say, the 5G works better with that and I also hope that Apple takes notice of that issue and will solve it.
    Until that I got myself a "workaround". I create a new playlist on the device, with just the single audiobook in it, that is actually in use. This helps me finding back into it, as long as "now playing" will not work correctly with the sleeptimer.

    It generally means - just using random numbers for examples - the iTunes on your computer holds 45 gig of content, you have a 16 gig iPad which has 13 gig of free space and the content just won't fit.
    Easy solutions. go into iTunes and 'manually manage' your content. I believe this is in the main summary tab for your device (connect your device, click on the icon in iTunes to access controls for your iPad
    You may also need to choose to manually control content in both the music and movie tabs.

  • Had problem with DSL, now have only one tab with favicon matching that tab.

    After a storm I had a problem with my U-Verse DSL. I lost access and got a message that it may be due to a problem with the filters on my phones, fax or satellite box. I disconnected all the items that had filters. I was then able to click on a link that AT&T had sent on the message and I got a response, I previously could not get a response because I had no connection. I got pack to the pages on all my tabs by hitting the back arrow on each one. I now have only one tab with favicon matching this WEB site for that tab, the rest all have the AT&T globe. I tried refresh and also opening a new tab and then going to one of the sites.
    This problem is on a different PC that the one I am on now. It has version 21, and is Window 7 Home Premium. I have pasted the trouble shooting info from that PC.

    Hi gurus,
    I have a problem with the description field in the variable selection pop-up that appears when a web template is opened. When I select a variable in the variable field appears the technical name of the characteristic and close to the technical name appears the description. This description seems to be the short description (default), but if the characteristic has only the short or medium length description it is not possible to force the second one (the medium). When the characteristic has the long description it is possible to force them in the InfoObject properties (Bex).
    It is possible to force the medium length description in that field?
    Any suggestion is appreciated.

    I verify the parameter in InfoProvider -> Change -> Extras -> Structur-Specific InfoObject Properties but are set correctly.
    I think my problem is in the Business Explorer tab of the infoObject properties
    for example in the characteristic 0JOB I have only the short and medium description. I set the parameter:
    Display -> Text
    Text Type -> Medium Length text
    Bex Description -> Long description (because i can choose only between short or long)

    I recently bought an IPhone 4S and am having problems with the two pop email accounts I need to put on it.
    When I use these settings below (sent to me by my web hosting company) I get the message
    The POP server "mail.myemailaddress.com" is not responding. Check your network connection and that you entered the correct information in the "Incoming Mail Server" field
    When I try and send out emails I get the message
    Cannot Send Mail
    The connection to the outgoing server "smtp.myemailaddress.com" failed
    I've also had the message
    CANNOT SEND MAIL
    a copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient (email address) was rejected by the server because it does not allow relaying.
    Settings I've put in are
    Pop Account
    Incoming mail server
    Host name  mail.myemailaddress
    User name  my email address
    Password    my password
    Outgoing
    SMTP smtp.myemailaddress
    Advanced
    Use SSL off
    authentication - password
    server port 25
    I've also tried using port 26, port 110 and port 995 with SSL enabled and no luck with any of them
    I've contacted my web hosting comapny but they can't help so anyting suggested here will be very gratefully received

    Some folks think the problem is due to poor solder connections of the WiFi chip on the card. Heating may expand the joints to cause temporary connectivity.   • Problem with 3G, now updating to iPhone 4

    I've had the 3G since it came out. I never had problems with it until a few months ago. All of a sudden, I couldn't send texts or email anymore (i would hit send and the phone would kick me out of the messages/email app). Also, same problem with most apps: I would be in them and it would just kick me out. There were no problems with making/incoming calls. Then, OS 4.0 came out, and updating the software fixed all my issues. Of course, my 3G is now very slow.
    I haven't updated to OS 4.0.1, Should I?
    I'm going to get the iPhone 4 soon. Do you think there will be any problems (because of the issue I had on the 3G) if I restore the iPhone 4 from my 3G backup?

    A 'few months' seems like a long time to have such problems with your 3G and not try and get it fixed through the 'Genius' option or similar.
    There's no way of knowing whether your backup files will continue with this problem on a new phone, as you don't know what's causing it. The best thing to do would be to go direct to Apple with this surely, and actually find out what caused the problems in the first place?
    If the email and text has worked since updating the software, make a new backup - then it shouldn't install any problems.

    I recently also posted this in the Powerbook G4 15" forum, as I couldn't get the link to the Safari forum to work...
    I was having trouble with Safari, which kept quitting every time I visited a site that used a certain type of code (not sure what, possibly Java or Flash). I downloaded and installed the Safari 3 Universal version in the hope of improving the situation, but that killed off Safari itself, plus Mail, Internet Explorer, and Firefox. I then trashed Safari 3; I've just found an old version of Safari 1.3, which I've now installed. It's working fine, but Mail still won't launch. I can't even find anywhere where I can download Mail again! Can anyone help? I'd be very grateful, as it has my entire email archive stored within it.

    The Safari 3 install updates a few system frameworks that are used by other applications. Those frameworks that were added were designed to work with 10.4, not 10.3 which is why so many other programs are now having problems as well.
    The easiest way to undo this is probably to perform an Archive & Install of 10.3 (and choose "Preserve user and network settings"):
