Problems with OS Ver 10.4.10

Since I updated to Tiger 10.4.10 I am having Keychain problems, having to enter a password to open Mail, and Safari is producing flakey messages as others have also reported.
I wonder if it is possible/practical/safe to reinstall Ver. 10.4.9 and if so, how does one do it?
I never experienced any Keychain issues in the past 3 years since switching from PC to Mac and I have a feeling that it is Ver. 10.4.10 that is the culprit.

to revert back to an earlier version of the operating system you need to use your install disk and use the archive and install feature. search support for "archive and install" for more information.
Archive and install will save all your files and settings and put you back to what your system came with.
After that is done you can go to Apple Downloads and pick up whatever 10.4.9 combo updater is appropriate for your machine, there is one for non-intel macs and one for intel macs. download that update. After that you can use software update to pick up the rest of the updates you previously had, BUT I would NOT PICK UP the 10.4.10 update or 10.4.10 combo update until there are confirmations of it being fixed.
i have done the above procedure and it solved my problems.

Problem with prod. ver. explosion to production order

I have problem with production versions. I have FERT with 3 production versions. Additionaly we have Z-program (on Z-table) which control parameter sold to party (from sale order) with production version. So after MRP I see in planned order right production version for example 3 - field PLAF-VERID; in master data in planned order I see right alternative BOM and routing; but when I make a conversion to production order I see that system always explode 1st version; additionaly in planned order in components (button) I see 1st pr.ver (1st alternative BOM) and in Bill of Material (it seems like to manually expolding BOM) I see right version??? But it couldn't be like this that to have right data I need to go to transaction MD12, explode BOM manully, save and after that make a prod. ord.
I would like to system explode BOM according to production version (field VERID) already in planned order; so after that it should be that when I will converted it to production order I should have right BOM and right routing from production version signed in planned order.
I know it sounds complicated Add. in configuration all parameters are set right to explode BOM etc. etc. system version: 4.7

Additional info: I cancel this question cause problem is in Z-program; becuase when according to Z-table system change input in field VERID for system it is only "digital" not parameter for which system should explode right BOM; sorry for disturbing, we need to change Z-programm; I do not know how but maybe any function module can help - we will think. I tried install weblogic ver 8 sp4 on solaris 10 .With the installable net_platform814_solaris32.bin ,I was able to succeed with the installation .However,the installation requires a internet connection .Is there a way to by pass this procedure.

Quickoffice problem with E71 Ver. 501.21.001

When I updated my E71-2 to software version 501.21.001 I found that I could no longer edit Quickoffice spreadsheets while the "Nokia Messaging Email" Inbox was open. I had been able to do this previously and on my E75. Attempting to either edit a cell in a spreadsheet or to select another worksheet in a workbook while the Inbox was open caused Quicksheet to close and return to the file seletion menu. The Version of Nokia Messaging Email is the latest, Build 9.7.0.21 (main).
Upon investigation I discovered that the E71 update had also installed a new version of Quickoffice, Version 6.2.388. There appears to be a conflict between this version of Quickoffice Quicksheets and the E71 501.21.001 software.
I contacted Nokia support but they didn't seem to understand the problem or be able to provide a solution.
I contacted Quickoffice Customer Support and they provided a URL to replace Quickoffice Version 6.2.388 with Version 6.2.217. This solved my problem completely!
It appears that the 501.21.001 update to the E71 installs a bad version of Quickoffice.
I am making this post in case other people have a similar problem and in hopes that Nokia might fix this problem created by the update to the E71.

Wireless Problems with WRT54GS Ver.4

I have 3 computers in the house on a wireless connection and one wired. Just recently all 3 wireless connections are not working properly. The computer i use has not seen any problems it's connected directly to the router through a network cable. Without changing any of the settings on either the computers or the router they will not connect to the internet. They are all 3 connected tot he network but I am unable to connect to the internet on them, or create an internet connection.

it internet add is not all 0's. The problem isn't with the wired connection. it's with all the wireless connections. I configured the connections to begin with and never had any problems outside of low signal strengh with any of the 3 connections. but just recently i can not connect to the internet on any wireless connection. None of the settings on the router or computers have changed since this problem has occured. I'm using the latest firmware. I've reset the router and still no change in the situation. all 3 computers using wireless connect to the network fine but when i try to setup an internet connection it doesn't add it into the "network connections" folder. I'll click "setup" under "connections" inside internet settings in IE, and click "connect to the internet" , "set up connection manually", "connect to a broadband connections that is always on" and "finish" uasually this is where the internet connection pops up in the "network connections" folder but nothing happens...?

Problems with Air ver 2.51 on OS X 10.6.6

I had Adobe Air installed with three applications: Zinio, Mindomo & Prezi. Everything was working fine. I upgraded my Mac OS X leopard to Snow Leopard. Zinio asked to be upgraded to 4.0 and upon upgrading the app I was asked to upgrade to Adobe Air 2.5.1. After upgrades I receive the following error when I try to run any of the applications : "This application requires a version of Adobe AIR which cannot be found. Please download the latest version of the runtime from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair, or contact the application author for an updated version." followed by a crash, here is the crash report: http://www.box.net/shared/b003opfbmo
I have tried the above steps, including uninstalling the applications, adobe air, running the terminals commands and then installing all again. Can anyone help?
P.S. the same reproduces on another administrative account on the same machine.

Yes, that's how it's supposed to work. Virtual PRIVATE Network, it doesn't connect to the internet. Try connecting at home the same way you do at your friends, WITHOUT the VPN, and you should be able to access the internet ok. You'll need to reconnect the VPN if you want to do any work. It's a pain, but that's the way it is - and the only solution is at the other end of the VPN, at the university. They may well allow internet access at the university, from their own network, but does it block **** or gambling sites? Then it's not going direct to the internet, it's going through their server first. If you're connecting from outside the university, that's another step removed, and the set up will be different. Talk to the IT people at the university, they're the only ones who can help.

Big problem with WRT54G ver.6

I get home after purchasing this router, I start to hook it up exactly as it said to do, and the ethernet light on my modem i suddenly blank...even though it was flashing a second before. After 20 mins it finally comes back on out of nowhere. However, I am unable to do anything because I have still had the constant problem of my router's power light flashing yellow over and over and not stopping. I have tried everything I can think of and it just keeps flashing, and my computer is unable to detect it.
If its needed I use Verizon DSL and have a Westell WireSpeed modem.

I tried the easylink, however it fails to do any good because it still fails to detect the router despite anything I do. The power light flashes nonstop regardless of what I do, all eithernet ports and the internet one are constantly on, but the WLAN never lights up.(the internet ones are on even if no ethernet cables are connected.

my laptop is nt able to detect the wireless router. all the lights in the router turns green when powered even though it has only 1 laptop connected to port 4 .
any body knows what the deal is. when i type in cmd > ipconfig \all and it does not show the wireless router.
whats the problm with this. if any body can help , it would be great.

Hi...
Try resetting the router to factory defaults. To reset the router ....press and hold down the reset button on the router for 30 seconds. After reseting the router...unplug the power to the router for 30 seconds and then connect the power. When all the lights on the router as steady, try reconfiguring the router from start.

Problems with UK deliveries

Does anyone else have problems with deli'veries via DPD UK (ex Parceline)?

I have confirmation from Creative that two orders (made on different days) have shipped. The provided consignment information registers on the DPD tracking service but gives no deli'very information other than stating the shipping is by their 2 day service. Both orders are now overdue by any standard.

On calling DPD they deny ever receiving any consignments. On calling Creative they claim that "a pallet has gone missing and we are looking into it". Now clearly as the orders were made on different days the likelyhood of them being on the same pallet is remote to say the least so stories from either party have more than a faint aroma of BS about them.
?
In the UK Parceline had a notorious reputation for poor service. Their response to this was to change their name (unfortunately not their ways it seems). I am somewhat surprised that a company like Creative would risk their reputation by using such a supplier.
?
Of course Creative have my money so their concern about deli'very may not be as pressing as mine.
?
Do others have similar experiences?

I think it is not the PAL versus NTSC that makes the problem as described in this forum earlier.
In Europe we have PAL, but we can play NTSC also on our DVD players. Our players (and TV sets) are compatible to both PAL and NTSC.
What makes the problem is the region code. In Europe we have code 2 and in the US you have code 1.
For a region free DVD the code 0 is given.
So you have to look at the DVD that you will purchase in which code the DVD has been made. Is it code 1 than you have to need to have a player who accept region 1 code or a region free player.
If the DVD has code 2 than you cannot play it on a American players, made with code 1, or this player is a region free type.
Most players have the region code build in the software of the player and you can make region free if you know the software code to do so. If the code has been cracked many shops do it for you for a little amnount of money (in the Netherlands that is). It the code is not known than it is not possible to encode the player to a region free type.
Some players have a region code build into the hardware (as the Sony types), and it is almost not possible to change the code.
When you make a mistake in the software encoding than it is possible that the player will not function correctly anymore, and every type has its own softwarecode, even within a certain fabricate. So it is a bit tricky to do.
On the internet you can search if the player you have has a possibility to encode the player into a regionfree type. Many hobbyist have found the software encoding method to do so and make that public on the internet. Simply use Google or so to find out, or ask your local shop if they can do it for you.

Hi, I am having a little trouble with exporting images to another drive and Catalogue and need some help if anyone can give me some advice
I am currently using Lightroom 5.6 and operating on a Mac with OSX Ver 10.9.5.
I am receiving an error problem when doing the following -
I am exporting selected photos from a particular Catalogue saved on Drive 1 to a folder created on another Drive where a Lightroom Catalogue has been created. In this Catalogue I have arranged for the images once exported to be moved to a different folder - I used the Auto Import process under the File dialogue box.
When processing the Export I receive an error message for each of the images being exported indicating the following -
Heading Import Results
Some import operations were not performed
Could not move a file to requested location. (1)
then a description of the image with file name
Box Save As Box OK
If I click the OK button to each image I can then go to the other Catalogue and all images are then transferred to the file as required.
To click the OK button each time is time consuming, possibly I have missed an action or maybe you can advise an alternative method to save the time in actioning this process.

Problem with dual screen (24" imac 2006 ver)

i've got a 24" intel imac (2006 ver) and i've connected it using apple's mini-dvi => vga adapter to my 2nd 22" lcd monitor, a samsung 2232GW, which is set to 1680 x 1050.
however, the samsung lcd displays (when i'm using as dual screen) is quite blur and double imaged. quality is readable but very irritating. i'm also using the same monitor for my ps3 (uses the DVI side) and have no problem with any visual aspect. I've tried playing around with the settings like resolution and calibration and tuning but didn't help at all.
anyone might have any ideas and enlighten me on this issue?

Did you get any resolution to your question? I have the Samsung monitor almost like yours, and I posted two seconds ago. I think I have a similar problem. I had been using my Samsung with my PC, and just switched to Mac. I loved my Samsung, but now ,for the first time using as a second. Hooked up to mini dvi to dvi, and reported a glow, or tinge coming around any window that I may place on the Samsung.Also, when Ilook at the background around the window I can see that the resolution is not perfect and is breaking up a little. Did you try VGA? and did it help? Curious to know

Apparently there's a problem with ver. 32.0 & XP, so perhaps I shouldn't be updating. The update has been downloaded; can I stop it now before restarting?

I'm now getting the message "The update will be loaded the next time Firefox starts". Is there any way to STOP the updating at this point, if there are going to be problems with ver. 32.0 under XP (which I am obviously still using)?

I am using Firefox 32.0 on Windows XP and have experienced no issues.
You cannot stop the update now that it have been installed. However, you can downgrade Firefox back to 31.0 once it restarts by downloading 31.0 from [https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/ here].

Nano ver 6 doesn't show up even after reinstalling iTunes which had to be done because of problems with all Apple devices after trying to update iTunes via a message from Apple.

Nano ver 5/6 doesn't show up in iTunes even after having to reinstall iTunes because of problems with trying to update iTunes after receiving message from Apple that an update was available. Other Apple products are showing up.

Unless your iPad has been jailbroken, it can't be "hacked", and there are no known viruses or malware.

After installation, it doesn't load and asking for Licence Problem with my BT-6967 that's I think is not model v1.43, have also tried my original CD and same problem
this is a serious problem with BlueSoleil Drivers on BT 6967, because my dad buy one last BT 6967 ver1.43 with Tranceveing Key driver version 1.3.4.9 (shows on cd) and I tried upgrade my driver version 1.3.4 on my old BT 6967 with this 1.3.4.9 bluesoleil drivers and doesn't works!!!!
