Problems with panoramic flash files in Director

i have some problems trying to put panoramic photo flash files into director.
I get this software Pano2VR to create 360 and sperical photos in flash format. So finaly i have the swf file.. but when i try put this file in director, does work.

This is one type of swf pano that not work good (flash 9).... but i did what you say... and works fine.
So in the app pano2vr... i export the .swf in flash 8 with no controls layer...
Next, i put this file in my web server and import from director using linking file (internet path)... WORKS FINE.
I still have to make some controls buts but that's fine by me. I'm mac user

well, you can 'label' some frames to link inside your flash to those as a 'page'..
But i've allready found it myself :-)
I just had to put 'anchors' in place of 'labels' and than put like: 'index.html#thepage'

using JEditpane i can load html pages but it's not supporting gif and flash files.is there any way to open a html page which contains flash and gif files.
please help me...

jeditpane does not support flash files etc, i am not sure if it even support applets if yes probably with some limited way, anyway flash files are not supported, but you can lanch system web browser to show content with flash like internet explorer, latest mustang will suport this

Problem with displaying flash file in UIX page

I would like to use a flash file (.swf file) above all my UIX pages.
I want to put falsh file in the UIX template file (.uit file) so that
when I create pages based on template, it will be shown on the top of all pages .
Does anybody know if there is a solution for doing this ?
Which UIX tags can be used ?

Add tht html namespace like

Problem with Embedding Flash Files

So I'm trying to embed a video I made in flash. I took the file and out and put it into my sites folder and copied some code to place it as an object in my web page via an html snippet. The strange thing is that when I view the video at its URL: http://web.mac.com/jlamb33/docs/success07.swf it looks fine, but when I put it into a page like: http://web.mac.com/jlamb33/AKPsi/Success.html it gets really small and I lose the controller bar. Anyone know what's going on?

Well, the reason I created it in flash was because a lot of my friends couldn't view the video with quicktime, because they don't have it. Anyway, I tried your setup and I can't seem to get it working properly. I copied the anplayer.swf file into my sites folder and copied the code into a snippet but nothings coming up. One thing I noticed is that the source file in the code was changed from the .swf file to .flv&amp. I didn't realize that was a valid extension, but I could be wrong. Any ideas on what's going on? Are you using an enterframe loop to animate the strip's movement now? Or are you using some other mechanism?
If you have something like this:

Your function is probably more complex, but that's that basic structure for testing the current position of the movieClip and then allowing it to move it its not there yet. Change the numbers as needed.

Thanks, but I use publish/export settings with GPU hardware acceleration and flash version 11.2 (and 11.8) but nothing happening.
And why gif file is not all transparenty then I insert on lightblue background? It can't export good quality? Also I use Photoshop, After Effects, Adobe Edge Animate. And nothing happening. Problem with preview PDF files on Windows 7 32bit

Hello,
in my office I have a problem with preview PDF files on my computers. The files are allright, but if I select a file and click on preview mode after ~ 10sec operation system write something "Preview this file is corrupt for PDF Preview Handler wrong". On other 64bit computers with same programs the preview is work. I try uninstall all Adobe soft (Reader, Flash), clean all Adobe data from folders in root and in register, but it is not solve this problem. On Microsoft forums wrote me, that the problem is probably with AR plugin.
So, can someone help me?

That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the optical drive and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Just press the Return key on your keyboard once.It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left handlist. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

When i installed the windows 7 (date: 03.2010) and the other browsers i had used good with flash player and all working good, but after couple months i had problem with IE8 and with Firefox, The Problem is: couple sites i have streaming problem when i trying watch some clip or video (youtube working good) and i have problem with the flash player itself that I can not click on the buttons of Flash Player itself in a number of sites built on Flash, example: facebook - zynga poker aplication. BUT at Chrome browser is worked great with the streaming and with the clicking buttons... so i start using with the Chrome browser... But 3 weeks ago, My Chrome browser start do the same problem like the IE8 and firefox!!!
i tried many things: i Uninstall plash player and install again - nothing!!
i uninstall flash player and install flash player 9 and still - nothing!!
i tought its problem at OS system so install (upgrade) the windows 7 and still - nothing!!
someone can help me with that? I give up and i didnt Enjoy with Flash player like that

If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

Tempo problems with imported wav files

Hey everyone, sorry if there's a quick fix for this in the forums that I couldn't find, but I've been having some tempo problems with imported .wav files.
Long story short, my system couldn't handle playing all the tracks for a song while recording drums, so I bounced out an mp3 of the song and put it in a new Logic file so my drummer could just play along to that as I recorded him. Unfortunately, the original song is at 167 bpm, but I forgot to change the bpm in the new Logic file with the .mp3 file of the song to 167 bpm, so it was left at the default 120 bpm.
So, the drums were recorded at the correct 167 bpm, but Logic thinks that those new drum .wav files should be played at 120 bpm, so when I import my drum tracks back into the original file, they do not play correctly at all.
I could get record it all again, but I wanted to check if there was a way I could salvage what I already have, since my drummer lives about an hour away right now and can't just come over whenever he wants.

First, do not use MP3 in Logic, the sound quality is less than AIFF, WAV or CAF, and Logic has to decode it for playback, making it a heavier burden on the CPU than an uncoded audiofile, such as AIFF, WAV or CAF.
Secondly, audio files are independent of Logic's tempo. If you bounce down an audio file in any format (other than Apple Loop), it will play back at the same speed, +regardless of Logics' tempo setting+, either at recording or playback. Logic doesn't 'think' anything. The BPM is only important to MIDI tracks, or to the spacing between audio files. The audio files themselves *are not affected* by the tempo setting. If you import an audio file of tempo 167 into a 120 BPM project, the file will still play at 167, only Logic will indicate the wrong bar positions.

No, it is not set to overprint. Also, I have to add that the printing results were not consistent. Sometimes it covered and sometimes it did not.

Problem with uploading a file in Clustered Environment

I have a problem with uploading a file in a clustered environment. I have an iview component which facilitates an upload action of an xml config file. The problem is that the upload of the modified XML file is reflected only in the central instance of the cluster and not in the dialog instances. The dialog instances hold the old config file.
Is there any solution to upload the file to all the nodes in the cluster.

Hi,
This is a known problem with clustered environment. Remember that your portal component runs on just on dialog instance and it doesn't automatically have access to the other nodes. However, there are some ways to get around this
1. Use KM to store files. KM is a common repository for all application servers and therefore you needn't worry more
2. Use an external batch oriented product (suresync/robocopy) to synch folders on the different DIs. You basically use your existing portal component, but there is a batch job which makes sure the upload folder is identical on all DIs (however, there is a slight delay depending on how often you run the batch job)
3. Store the files on a shared disk directly from the portal component.
