Problems with pluses for spaces in the url

Hi,
Before we updated our OAS with the daylight savings time patches, we used to be able to access our portal pages that had spaces in their names using the + sign, e.g.:
http://example.com/portal/page/portal/mypagegrp/Policy+and+Objectives
This is standard url escaping for spaces.
Now, it only accepts %20 as space, e.g.
http://example.com/portal/page/portal/mypagegrp/Policy%20and%20Objectives
If I use the plus url, it complains that it can't find the content.
The problem arose because we have a portlet that generates links to some of our content pages, and it uses the standard java URLEncoder.encode method to encode the urls. I'd prefer not to have to hack my own url encoder to work around a OAS url parser bug.
Any ideas?

Yes this certainly a bug, as using the latest versions of Adobe's CS4 and the latest OS really should solve problems, not create them. We're not asking for legacy support here!
After reading several related posts, it looks like running DW CS4 as Administrator seems to fix the problem here. This obviously won't help the people that don't have the option to do that though.
For those interested, right click your Dreamweaver CS4 icon, select Properties, click the Compatibility tab, and check the box beside "Run this program as an Administrator".

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. You can callout successfully, however. the annoyance being the inability to answer incoming calls in the HandsFree mode.

Web.show_document spaces in the URL problem

Try using %20 in place of the space in the URL.

Problem with links for external user

We´re using SAP NetWeaver Portal 2004s SPS 10 and we have a problem with links within notification-mails:
The link to the document (e.g. within a subscription mail) consists of "http:///...". Only user using the portal within our network can open this links. All external user can´t open this links. How can I change the URL so that our external user can open the links, too?

We already have another URL for external usage. My problem is how to define that created links to documents and folder are automatically using the external URL.
If somebody receives an email (e.g. subscription) the URL to the folder is:
http://<portalserver>:51000/irj/go/km/navigation/documents/Public Documents/Documentation
But it should be:
https://<externalportal>/irj/go/km/navigation/documents/Public Documents/Documentation

YouTube problems with Safari for many users

It seems that quite a few other users are having problems with Safari and YouTube after the recent updates.
(On another note, there's even more problems with Facebook and Safari.)
It seems that Safari isn't getting along with the web's two most popular sites. I am having these problems myself. Chrome seems to handle them fine, being WebKit also...

In the last week or so my Safari is going crazy. THis is frustrating and I dont know where the problem could be... I just know that I wouldnt like to switch to other browsers and I would still like to use Safari. But this is too much...
So I have a one year old Mac Book Pro 2.3 ghz Intel Core i7 8gb memory
MAC OS X version 10.7.3
Safari 5.1.4
So what is / was happening.
Firstly I couldn't see any of my emails in my gmail mailbox. I could see my emails if I could go back to the old look. But I wanted to have the new GMAIL look so I Was wondering what to do. At the same time in youtube which ever button i pressed nothing happened. If I pressed the videos button so I could see more videos from the user nothing opened. If I pressed show more button to get more info on the video nothing happened. So then I googled a little to see if somebody else has a problem and then somewhere it was written to uncheck the "open in 32bit" box and I did that. And so there was some progress. Even though I would still like to know why I need to do that and what is the difference if you are opening Safari in 32bit or you are not opening it in 32bit... Anyway at least now I could see my emails in my inbox on gmail and when I pressed the youtube buttons stuff worked. But still YouTube doesnt work the way it is suppose to work. When I open some videos - most of the videos I have huge problems with the slider timeline scrolling option (I dont know if that is the right name for it). Anyway this slider doesnt work at all. The video is loading and playing at the same time and then at one moment the slider stops or jumps at the beginning while the video is still playing. And I cant jump anywhere on the slider. The video plays till the end, I cant even pause it and when it comes to the end I cant play it again... I need to reload. SO once again. The slider stops and the loading trace disappears but the video plays on... And I have no control over it - I can not jump in time I can not go to the beginning - all I can do is either watch the video or reload the page...
Plus my safari keeps on reloading after a certain time. This can be a total pain in the *** when I write a long reply to somebody on Facebook or write a new thread on Apple support community and it reloads and what I was writing is lost forever. Again frustrating.
Does somebody else have the same problems and what should I do about this ******** Safari. Will they fix these problems are they fixing them?

developer workspaces and a repository for both development and
deployment.
We are facing problems when we run an Rpclean for this Development
Repository, this process aborts with a fatal error message, the log
screen for this process issues the following messages
the deletion objects is made,
the repository compress is made,
the rebuild of the index is made,
but then when the process is creating back the repository it displays
"fatal error" and issues a message that it cannot truncate the .btx
file.
the command executed is :
rpclean -n Desarrollo -fr :/var/forte/repodesa -t /var/jaeb
Any experience on this regard?. If any, would be highly appreciated.

How big is your repsitory. Because if you are running on Digital Unix
you will have problems, when the repository is bigger then 1 gigabyte!
During the rpclean process a 'copy' is build and the unix system cannot
handle more than 2 gigabyte. I expect the maximum size of the repository
will be different for each operating system, but this might be your
problem!

Problem with credentials for session registration

I followed the steps in the help file to register a session to run on STARTUP, but it won't run before I log into Windows, I thought it might be a problem with authetication so i added the /ap option when adding the session.
Now i am not sure how to type in the credentials ... funny to read everywhere:"add credentials" with no hint on the syntax. Now i tried / ap username:password and it still doens't work without logging. Any hint ?

Which windows version are you using? The problem shouldn't be related to FMLE, because it is the scheduled task which invokes the FMLELauncher, which in turn reads the OsLaunch.dat file in Drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Flash Media Live Encoder 3. When you use /r, an entry is made into this file. You can verify the entry in this file.
Try scheduling any other task, such as playing a song, so that you can know before logging whether the task is executed. The behaviour should remain same for all scheduled tasks.
Let me know the outcome.

Problem with mail for exchange after update on E72...

Hi everyone,
I updated Nokia E-mail to ver 3.9 on E72. Now I am facing a problem with mail for exchange. I have configured gmail on mail for exchange. I recieve a warning that "unable to sync contact administrator if problem persist". It started to pop up just after the update was over and is very frustrating. Even previously i used to recieve mails instantly but now it generally takes half an hour for me to recieve them. I deleted and created mail for exchange several times but to no avail.
Also i am not able to automatically recieve mails other emails which i have configured. every time I have to manually download them everytime.
Can anybody suggest a way out.

It could be a problem if you're using your network's connections...
I was on a Pay & Go tariff with o2 some time ago, and needed secure connections for various things, o2 told me they didn't provide secure connections on Pay & Go tariffs...
Could be worth checking with them to make sure it's supported.

hello guy! I've got a problem with facetime for mac.My sister has a I-pod touch fourth generation with factime but i cna't phone her a message come on my mac.It say "xxx can't receive facetime's calls"!Can you help me??

I did see mention of using Google Public DNS while I was searching the forums prior to posting, but to be honest didn't think it was a DNS-related problem.
However, to rule it out I've set the prefered DNS servers on my router to Google's, but FaceTime still disconnects after 4-5 seconds when calling between me and my brother-in-law. It doesn't matter who initiates the call.
As a test, before I made the changes to my router, I logged into FaceTime as him on my MBP and tried calling myself on my iMac, and that was successful.
The same test between the two iMacs when they were here was unsuccessful, so now I'm definitely thinking it's something on the '08 iMac.
Now I just need to figure out what...

Problem with Twitter for Mac notifications

Hello,
I have a strange problem with Twitter for Mac. On both my home and office Macs. New posts appear in app window but there aren't any notifications even though notifications are set in preferences to show in both dock and menubar. Perhaps anyone noticed similar strange behaviour? I didn't find anything similar on Twitter forums.

go to Terminal and post this:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/support/lsregister -kill -seed
if it doesn't have that specific directory try this:
/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreServices.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/LaunchSe rvices.framework/Versions/A/Support/lsregister -kill -seed
once the scanning is done (can be short or long, depends on how heavy your system is) RESTART the computer.
when you're back, go to Apple>system preferences>extensions.... guess who's there.
