Problems with putting the Schema on the query!!!! Need Help.

Hi guys!
I have a problem and a doubt about putting schema name on my query. I want to know if is neccesery specify the schema name on the query I want to execute. All my queries are on my application, I connect from the begging to my oracle data base with a user and password, this user is only alow for that schema. So my question is if I can ommit the schema name on the query.
Explample
Select * From Table
Select * from Student
Select * from Schema.Table
Select * from Institution.Student

don't use words that you don't know!
also, your example (in the first post) gave the schema.table as INSTITUTION.STUDENT
so these are all words that you started with.
now, PAY ATTENTION and RUN THE EXAMPLE SQLS I GAVE
connect to the database as INSTITUTION (user, schema, I don't care which).
execute the sql statement "select * from student".
did it do anything? did it return data, did it say "no rows", or did it have an error? my magic 8 ball and x-ray glasses are broken and I can't see you monitor (my old computer only has that one way window). if it works, then you clearly do not need to put be "putting the Schema on the query!!!!". if it didn't work, then TELL US EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED (copy AND paste).
and where are my cigars ;-)

Problem with iBook powering on... Need help diagnosing please

So for awhile my iBook G3 (dual USB, 700 mhz, 12" display) when the power is pressed the computer chimes and the hard drive will start spinning and then nothing happens. After a few seconds I can hear the drive stop spinning and the only sign of power is that the keyboard will light at the caps lock key.
I tried doing a PMU/PRAM reset and the iBook did a long beep noise, then the hardrive started spinning, then power light started flickering, and than it chimed and that's it.
Not sure what to do with it. I love this computer, and all though it's older and well out of date, it's ultra compact and worked great for wireless internet surfing when away from home. I'd appreciate any help to help figure out what this problem is and if it's worth paying to get it fixed or to replace it.

First, check out the Apple Knowledge Base article on troubleshooting portables that won't turn on or start up to see if something there helps.
It sounds like you may be having logic board problems. Enough Dual USB G3 iBooks suffered from the logic board problem that Apple began the iBook Logic Board Repair Extension Program in January of 2004. Check out the FAQ page and if the symptoms look familiar and it is not past the three-year time limit, give Apple a call.
You can find the original purchase date of the iBook, by entering its serial number into the box at the bottom of Apple's main support page under "About Your Support Coverage."
If it is past the three-year time limit (and it probably is), you may want to consider trying the shim fix suggested by John Sawyer in the Apple Discussions iBook G3 (Dual USB) Displays Forum:
[Y]ou can often fix this yourself by removing the iBook's bottom housing, and placing a shim of any sort, about 1mm to 1.5mm thick, onto the raised square on the bottom shield. I use a Scotch mounting square--you can get them in hardware stores and many grocery stores. When you reinstall the bottom case, it will press against this shim, which will press against the graphics chip, and may allow the chip to come into better contact with the logic board.

If the shim fix doesn't work (or you're leery of trying it), DT & T Computer Services in Fremont, California offers the cheapest repair I've found. They have a six-month warranty on the repair.
Once you get it fixed, try never to pick it up by the left front corner alone. The theory is that picking it up by the left front corner alone can contribute to logic board failure when the case flexes, causing the graphics chip to come loose from the logic board. If you're picking it up in your left hand (as I often do mine), pick it up in the center under the trackpad.
If you can't manage to get it fixed free or on your own with the shim fix, I almost think it's a better idea to put the money you would spend on a repair toward a new MacBook. They are such a spectacular upgrade over the iBook G3. Hard drive specs, USB 2.0, RAM, processor, Tiger, the newest version of iLife, built-in AirPort Extreme, Bluetooth capabilities, and built-in iSight camera. If you can afford it, that may be the way to go. With a new MacBook, you have the option of using Migration Assistant to transfer your data to the new computer, but that likely won't work if you can't get the iBook to start up at all. However, with a new Mac, you may be able to retrieve some of your data using FireWire Target Disk Mode.

Problem with Flash Menu in iWeb...need help please.

Ok, I designed a flash menu in iWeb and successfully placed it at the top of the site. I then used the "transparent shape" method to make the hyperlinks work properly. I made sure the flash menu was in the back and the transparent shape hyperlinks were in the front. The menu works just fine for me and anyone else using Safari or Mac computers. However, people on Windows using Firefox, IE or Chrome are unsuccessful in clicking the links. They do not work for them.
Here's my website's homepage link. Keep in mind, if you look there on Safari, it will work but it does not when on a Windows computer. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It is clearly the problem that the flash menu is opening in front of the hyperlinked shapes but I'm not sure how to make sure they stay on front.

It works in IE.
Its just a question of making up two different buttons with text for each link, taking a screenshot and cropping them and adding the JPEGs to your upload folder.
You can make up the buttons on an iWeb page and then delete them when you have taken the screenshots. I usually do this sort of thing in Keynote so that I can save them in case I need to modify them.

Problems with iPhone 3G Activation , Error Message (-50), Need HELP!!!!!!!!

I bought the iphone 3G yesterday through Virgin Mobile. I was told to activate my iphone I need to sync it with iTunes.
I plugged in my iPhone and it try to sync for a while then an error message pops up. (*We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured. (-50).There was an error in iTumes store. Please try again later*.)
I've tried several things, reinstalling iTunes, change the options in my internet browser (Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008120122 Firefox/3.0.5), turn off my anti-virus software. But the problem still occur.
I can access iTunes store and my playlists etc, but when I click on Sign-in and then click on create new account the same error message pops up again.
I've tried to run diagnostics on iTumes. It says that secure link to iTunes store failed. I've passed all connectivity and sync test. Below is the details,

No need to SHOUT. The cable is the one used to connect your iPhone to your PC. Suggest getting another one.
The problem may be that you're using USB to connect to the internet. It's too slow and will cause problems when you have other high speed USB connections. Use an Ethernet connection to your modem/router. For additional troubleshooting, see these Apple support articles:

Problem with my curve 8330!!! NEED HELP ASAP

My phone is not connecting to the mobile network. I have downloaded the software and it that did not work. There are times when the phone does connect with the network, but it's in a very intermittent way. On the top right hand corner the phone displays the 1X and not the 1XEV as it's supposed to. I have contacted the service provider and their technical support was no help. Is there any way of fixing this problem? the phone is only a year old.
Please provide your assistance as soon as possible, as the phone has not worked in a month or so.

Your service provider was no help? Then you need a new service provider. If you purchased the device from them and you pay monthly for service then they should see your problem through to resolution. If the device is defective then they should replace it if it's under warranty. If it's not under warranty then they should at least see your issue through to the point up to replacing the device.
I would suggest wiping the OS from the device and reloading the OS or just upgrade the OS to a newer OS. If it still has the same issue then I'd say it's hardware and the device needs to be replaced.

I just noticed that one of the restore methods you posted was to put it into Disk Mode First rather than just use the resstore straight off, I Have tried that and seems to have solved the problem, If it has thank you. previously I have only tried just restoring it skipping this extra step. if puchased separately. Take your iPhone and the cords to your local

The mic on my iPhone4 has just quit also. Similar symptoms to yours in that people I'm talking to hear only static or my voice very faintly. The voice/memo recorder also only really records static.
It happened suddenly and seemed to get better after a day or two but then went completely after another day.
I'm returning it to Vodafone New Zealand shortly but will have to wait 5-10 days for a replacement. There are NO Apple accredited means to speed this procedure up in NZ.
We don't even have a single physical Apple Store where you could walk in and talk to a Genius.

This response is a little late as I just read about your problem. I have a 2012 Dodge Charger and a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country and both worked flawlessly with the iPhone 5s my wife and I had. However, we just upgraded to the iPhone 6 and Uconnect will receive calls but you cannot answer them. In addition, when I connect my nano, my computer does recognize but the library and playlists in my Itunes is not the same as the library/playlists on my ipod (on this ipod). If I purchase new songs from itunes, they go to the library on the computer but I cant get them to the ipod playlist.
