Problems with Quake3 engine

I have problems with my 3D games, mainly with those which use Quake3 engine : Unreal Tournament 2003, 2004, Wolfenstein ET, Serious Sam 2, Counter-Strike, Diablo 2, Warcraft 3, Jedi Knight 3, Command & Conquer ...
Sometimes, the game only returns to Windows, sometimes I get the message "....exe encountered a problem and must be closed ...", sometimes a crash, and sometimes a reboot ; after 5 minutes to 2 hours of gaming.
It looks to happen randomly. When I get down the graphic acceleration ( such as antialiasing or anisotorpy ), I can play longer, but the end will be the same.
Tried all possible configurations of my grapgic cards ( with multiple tweakers ).
Tried multiple drivers ( from nVidia, from Microsoft, from MSI, from OpenGL ) but no difference. Maybe a lttle award for the MSI which seems to work longer than the others.
Formated. Updated the two BIOS ( video and motherboard ), the drivers of each part of my computer, from multiple websites.
I thought it was a overheating problem, and I played with the computer opened, with a giant fan over it. No change. The other components look good, but maybe it is one of them which does not work.
I would be pleased for your help.

Problems with sound engine

Hello, I have 64bit arch linux on my laptop. Everything was fine until some time ago when I made an upgrade after quite some time and after that I started having some small problems with sound.
1. The headphones stopped working when I plugged them in. I found out that in order for them to work I have to run the ESD daemon. That wasn't necessary some time ago. But then again if the ESD daemon is running and I plug off the headphones the laptop's speakers won't work.
2. Lately a problem appeared concerning multiple sound sources. If I have my browser running and youtube is open then I get no sound from amarok. I have to close them both and open amarok first then chrome. Amarok plays just fine but if I open a youtube tab there's no sound at all.
I have to admit it's kind of irritating having these. Any ideas?

Problem with Billing Engine after upgrade from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0

Hello together,
The system of our customer has been upgraded from CRM 5.0 to CRM 7.0. After that some problems occurred regarded the billing.
In the Billing Due List a dump occurs when clicking on an item and then on conditions
Dump message: No function module can be found named "/1BEA/CRMB_DL_PAR_O_DERIVE" however.
(Other classes are new generated after the upgrade)
During the Analysis we looked to the billing engine navigator:
In the Billing Engine Navigator (Transaction: BEFN_F1) the Generation Log shows the following:
We have re-generated the Object PAR in CRMB->DL->Feature->PAR. But this shows the above displayed error message. How can we add value to the Placeholder?
Another question is which impacts does it have if we regenerate the complete billing engine for CRMB with transaction BEA_CONFIG_F1 (Configure Application)?

we checked the key figure settings and categories. Everything is maintained correctly.
Since we work with MRP areas we also checked the "Global Parameters and Default Values for MRP Areas" in APO Customizing: The "Default values for Stock Transfer Documents" is set to "1" = Stock Transport Requisitions for MRP Areas.
BUT: When I try ot change this indicator I get the following message no. /SAPAPO/MRPA000:
"Process. w. stock transp. requisitions is not supported in standard sys. The process with stock transport requisitions will be supported as of SAP R/3 Enterprise Core Release 4.70 with SAP R/3 Enterprise Extension Set 2.0. ".
As far as we work with ECC 6.0, EHP4 this message makes no sense.
Does anyone have another idea?

JBBD Sender - Problem with Adapter Engine - Message status Delivering -

I've a rare problem. My scenario is JDBC (EO) to IDOC. If the SELECT query from SQL database arrows 8000 lines, the message was sent from PI to R/3 succesfully and Idocs was generated.
But if the query is larger than 10.000 lines, the message was stopped in the sender queue in AE with status "Delivering". In SXMB_MONI I can't see the message, only in RW in Message Monitoring or Component Monitoring in Engine Status.
I've applied note Note 937159 - XI Adapter Engine is stuck, and follow this blog

Using Configtool I modified these parameters (MaxConsumers). But message still puts in sender queue.
I have in PI 7.1 SPs 0004.

I have the same requirement and for solving this, I have to apply a very complex select statement.
But it works perfekt for MS SQL:
select * from table where order_no in (SELECT distinct top(1000) order_no FROM table where any_clause) and any_clause order by order_no
update table where invoice_no in (SELECT distinct top(1000) invoice_no FROM table where any_clause) and any_clause
I create an IDoc for each order_no, so I have to make sure, that all lines belonging to one invoice are in the same select.
My select statement has 463 characters

Problem with configure engine in console-mode unix

i have a problem, i tried to configure an engine of enterprise in HP_UX, but the grapical-mode doesn´t work, how can i start the admin console in console-mode??? i tried ./albpmadmcenter -console but not work!!!

You would have to install using silent mode to configure the process administrator. This option is available in Oracle BPM (OBPM). Not sure if it exists even with ALBPM 6.0.

Problem with "Text Engine?"

I have been on photoshop all day (cs6) with no problems, and now after an hour break for dinner when I open the program I get a message saying that something is preventing the text engine from initializing.............Have had this program for quite some time and neve this issue, can anyone help, it would be greatly apprecciated!!??

Most likely it means you installed a corrupt font on your system, but could also mean that the OS font cache is corrupt and returning bogus information.

Problems with Java Engine after installing SP09

We have deployed SP09 in our XI box. I downloaded the whole stack for PI nad also XML file. JSPM did not like the XML stack file so I deployed all components in one go. Using option "deploy individual patches" and marking all for deployment.
All components were deployed succesfully (one had warnings SAP-XIAF).
How did you go about deploying SP09. Maybe I am doing something wrong
Now Java engine is not running properly.
I execute sapstart sommand succesfully and no errors are reported. However in SMICM I do not see Java running properly.
Cannot connect either using URL or going in with Visual Administrator.
When I go to JCMON -> Cluster Administration I get error:
Can't connect to message server
I check all the logs and I can't find anything. I thought that logs should be in ../j2ee/cluster/server0 but no files have been updated in this directory.
Please help to identyfy the problem (last week we had the same issue with SP09 on Portal and we chose to restore). SAP has not bee very helpful so far.

Problem with Rendering-Engine

Installed the iPrintAppliance as described in the paper. But a HP ColorLaserJet 3600DN in the Back for Printertests. With the Desktop-iPrint-client it works correct and fine.
then I activated emailprinting for this printer and installed as in the papers described the rendering maschine (english os, english office and so on.) When Iprint a document, i receive a mail back:
Subject: Job Notification (Printing Failed) :print printer=HPColor3600DN
Body:
Failed to print the job. Error occurred during document conversion.
Job List
Document: <name of document>
docx
Status: Error in document conversion, or invalid page range. Supported document formats include Open Office, Microsoft Office, PDF, image and text files.
Has somebody an idea what is wrong?

Does the printer support postscript?
As I understand it as default (and for advanced features) the printer must support postscript.

This is what google does when look for my website. is hosted with BC and this domain is listed on the sites that BC gave me. do I need to elliminate this from the list. if yes, how is that done? I cannot have a site declared insecured by google!

In this case, the address listed in the certificate does not match the address of the website your browser tried to go to.
This is what google is telling me. I cut and pasted part of the response below:

Another possible reason is that the server is set up to return the same certificate for multiple websites, including the one you are attempting to visit, even though that certificate is not valid for all of those websites. If you proceed, Chrome will not check for any further name mismatches.

Im having a problem with Firefox opening web pages that i have set as my home page such as Google also will not open Yahoo but will open most bookmarked pages

After starting Firefox the Firefox homepage comes up with the google search, but if i enter anything in the search bar, nothing happens it just says done. Also my homepage is Google, imported from Internet Explorer, but doesn't come up when i start Firefox, And Also at the top on the tab it just says untitled. Now with that being said if i enter in yahoo or yahoo.com in the search tab or even enter in the actual web address, it still doesn't open it just says done at the bottom of the page and nothing happens, But if i go to the Bookmarks also imported from Internet Explorer it will open or display most all of the web pages it just seems to be having problems with search engines such as Google, and Yahoo. Now if i enter Ask.com in the web address search tab it will open that page but if i enter Google.com or Yahoo.com nothing. Also like i said most all bookmarks will open but yahoo or my yahoo that is saved in Bookmarks will not. and nothing happens with any entry made into the Google search displayed on the the Firefox Start Page.

          While using jakarta-slide on weblogic 7.0, I encountered the following
          problem while uploading files using WebDAV servlet deployed on WLS:
          "**** This file has a corrupted %%EOF marker, or garbage after the
          %%EOF."
          Is this is a problem with the way that WLS servlet engine is handling
          chunked transfers ?
          According to the change request 084847, "For chunked
          transfer, WebLogic Server was including a hexadecimal number which
          other
          servlet engines used to ignore. This has been fixed WLS 6.1 sp 4."
          Is this fixed in WLS 7.0 ? I could not find this in the resolved bugs
          list for WLS 7 SP1. If this has not been fixed in 7.0, any idea when
          this fix would make it to WLS 7.0 ?

Problems with Labivew 2013 / 14 install - Ni Variable Engine error and Labview does not close, processes do not stop when I run Vis.

I am hoping at all my problems are relateded to a problem I am experancing, when I look into my windows 7 (64bit) event viewer near every time I boot up I get an error regarding the NI Variable Engine which reads.
The description for Event ID 0 from source NI Variable Engine cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.
The following information was included with the event:
C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\Tagger\ni_tagger_plugin_mxs.dll: Failure to load plugin: Unexpected Error: Unable to get the Interface from the plug-in.
and a second which is the same apart fomr the last line
Unable to load the MXS configuration plugIn: Failed to get MAX Configuration interface for Tagger: 0x80040318
I have tried uninstalling all labview things and I have tried repairing all labivew programs. Along with this I got this error when I installed Labview 2013 so I thougth why not try 2014 and I still get the same problems. I also shoudl point out I use bot 32 bit and 64 bit versions of labivew. I have installed labview on many machines before but never encountered this problem. That being said this was a new clean windows install.
Along with thiese errors labview heardly ever shuts down properly when I close the program it just freezes and needs forshed shut down.
Apart form this I noticed that when I run any of my Vis which I have never had problems with in the past and I stop the program somtiems processes keep using CPU such as "lktsrv.exe"
I really need to get this sorted out because its morstly the crushing and processes not stopping which is rather annoying.
I shoudl also say that these problems are both in the 32bit and 64 bit versions of labview not difference. and no difference if its 2013 or 2014

Thanks for your reply sorry I havetn noticed anybody had replied as I stopped hoping for any responce before then.
I have attached a screenshot of the four processes that seems to be giving me a problem.
I have actually managed to find the program causing labivew to crash was in fact my antivirus software which I have now removed and have no more problems with labview crashing on shutdown.
After removing it I tried the repair feature again for all my labview programs but sadly the one persistant problem remaining is still the four processes using around 13% processor each. I have found out this happens sometime after booting up regardless of if I run labivew or not. So it does not directly seem related to the running of any labview applications but rather a bug in the labview software.
the processes are:
lktsrv.exe
tagsrv.exe
nidmsrv.exe
lkads.exe
as shown in the task manager.
I would relaly help if I can get this sorted out.

Solution Manager systems RAM requirements - problems with the Java Engine

Hello,
I am about to install SAP Solution Manager 7 on a WIndows 2003 Server x64 but I need to know what the RAM requirements are? I have been having problems with the Java Engine starting and it seems to time out, I have heard that this is a very RAM hungry process and it might be why?

J2ee engine is not starting but I am able to login to ABAP engine.
When I am trying to long in through internet explorer it is not working.
How to check J2ee engine started or not.
If it is not started then how to start J2ee engine.

Check the url http://ipaddress:5xx00/index.html
If this url shows you the system info page then you j2ee engine is up.
If it is not started then how to start J2ee engine.
Check your server0.log file.
If J2ee engine problem is there then how to solve the issue and where to check to solve the issue.
Check for the problems in log file and do search in sdn or in the market place you will get plenty of info read them and try to resolve the errors.
