Problems with Receiver Determination

Hi everybody.
I have started as XI developer 2 weeks ago.
I'm trying to replicate de tbit40 exercises in our company system. when i try to make the 'Receiver Determination' somethings happen. It doesn't appear the part to write the system receiver.
This is my scenario : file->XI->IDOC.
I've defined in the SLD the hardware, including one PC, the XI server and the SAP 4.6c server.
This is only a test in order to check the connectivity between the PC and SAP R3. I haven't configured yet the part of the IDOC in the R3 system. Is this necesary to view the 'subwindow' of system receiver?

I'm having some problems with the sender agreement and the receiver determination, let me explain you the scenario: i'm trying to translate inbound plain text files to XML to a outbound interface for MDM.
An XI consultant (expertise) has successfully created the inbound - outbound interface mappings for vendors catalog, it has worked good since he set it up, but now that i'm trying to create the materials mapping according to the manuals step by step, and when i try to create the receiver determination settings, i can't find my interface mappings, the pop-up window return 0 objects for interface mappings (that i have already created and linked with msg types).
So what can i do? Do you have any idea?

Error while posting GR from EWM in ECC. "Problem with receiver finding"

I have completed putaway of inbound delivery in EWM. This has triggered PPF to ECC for GR posting. This is stuck in ECC SMQ2 with error "Problem with receiver finding".
I have checked ECC>EWM interface configuration. Handling unit management setup in ECC and EWM. Do not see any issues there. Also tested GR account postings with IM storage location for Po in ECC. This is also working fine...so no issue with account determination.
Unable to figure out what is causing issue. Please help. Thank you.

Thanks for your responses. Issue was with distrubution model fiter parameters. for message type InboundDelivery.Deliverychange there was additional filter parameter for logical system. Removed values for logical system and only retained warehouse number.
With this issue is resolved. GR is posted succesfully in ECC.

Problem with Receiver File adapter

I have a problem with receiver file FTP adapter, while writting file in target folder, connection is failing, after retries, it writting file again. How to avoid this situation, is there any way to write the leftout part in the file.

TS3276 I receive a pop up from ICal saying the server does not recognize me user name and password. This started yesterday. I have no problems with receiving or sending emails through Mail

I receive a pop-up from ICal saying the server does not recognize my user name and password for my me.com email address. This started yesterday and occurs about every 5 minutes or so. There are no problems with receiving or sending email through Mail. I did change me email password several days ago but have no problems sending/receiving since then.

I fixed the problem. I opened Preferences in ICal and entered my new password. No more pop-ups

If the MTA believes that you have an error, it will give you the 5.5.1 error.
The error may be any of several provisioning problems. Since you haven't sent me the ldap entry for the user, I really can't tell which error you may have made.
A common error is the value you placed in "mailhost".
This needs to be the Fully qualified name of your mail server, not an alias. If you desire to use an alias for the system, you need to make additional configurations.
Please believe me, I'm trying to help you, but when there are dozens of possible errors, and I have no data to examine, I can't tell which error you may have made.
I do know that if you correctly provision a user, that user will work.

Problem with Account determination

Hi all.
I have a problem with account determination when I change some data in Tcode VKOA.
For example:
I made changes in VKOA to determine G/L account 0000523201 and it worked it.
But in the account document the account that is displayed is different (0000501000) and I don´t know why.
I checked the Analysis Account Determination in VF03 and the system found the correct account in the access sequence, but I realized that there is a second line with the message G/L account in document 0000501000 . Where do I determine this account, or how Can I fix it ?

Check in VKOA all the G/L accounts for all the respective account keys. Also check wheather any provisional G/L account have been maintained or not. for any account key
Also check wheather twice if you have maintained for the same account key different G/L accounts

There is no such thing as a 'Thunderbird email account'. Thunderbird is an email client, and you use it to retrieve mail from an account you created with your email provider.

Make sure you have checked off iCloud contacts in your Contacts app under Groups in upper left corner.

Problem With Receiver Communication (File Adapter)

My SAP XI Version is 3.0 with Service Pack 7,I have a strange problem,
I have a flat file coming from Unix system,I need to convert this into XML and put a copy in the Archive mode and send the XML file,getting it converted into flat file format send it to the receiver.Here I have to do the content Conversion,So,I have done content conversion while configuring Sender and Receiver Communication Channel.
I am using NFS as Transport Proctocol.So, everthing was fine when i run the scenario,after activating.The Sender communication Channel is Archiving the files.But I am unable to see any file with receiver communication channel.
So,for this I have checked up with Adapter monitoring in Runtime Workbench. In my File Adapter My Sender as well as Receiver Communication Channels are in Green.They are mentioning that Sender Communction is sucessful and
RECEIVER COMMUNICATION IS Sucessful but no messages processed.
Can any one suggest what to do now.Everything is fine with Content conversion and Unix System.But my receiver is not receiving any messages.
Should any OSS notice or patch work needs to be applied.

I Guess you should first see if the file is being picked......for that do the following.
While configuring your Sender File Adapter, let the mode be DELETE. This way, we will know if the file is being picked by the File adapter. The file will be deleted and you can be sure that it has been picked up.
Next, look into the RWB--> FILE ADAPTER and see the log of the file adapter
and also, you can see the flow of your message in the integration engine in SXMB_MONI.
Ans still if your message is not showing up in SXMB_MONI, please do as explained below.
Increase logging and trace level in:
SXMB_ADM -> Integration Engine Configuration -> Specific Configuration
Also create entries as follows in it:
LOGGING = 1
LOGGING_SYNC = 1
TRACE_LEVEL = 3
TRACE_LEVEL_PROPAGATION = 1
Also refer XI: I cannot see some of my messages in the SXMB_MONI

Doubt with Receiver Determination

Is it possible in Receiver Determination to suppress few data from the input xml and send out rest of the input data into mapping?
Example:
Input xml:

In this case, Records with Unit as BB or CC should be ignored, rest of the Records has to be sent into the mapping.
Is this possible in Standard Receiver Determination?

Now my question is if I have an input xml with all the Records having Unit as either BB or CC, in this case i should not determine the receiver and cancel the message processing.
another case would be like with above sample xml, which has both valid and invalid(BB,CC) values. Since there is at least one valid record, I should determine the receiver and in mapping i will suppress the invalid records.
Can you please suggest me if this is possible in Standard Receiver Determination?
I know this can be handled in message mapping/Extended Receiver Determination
My objective is to stop processing the message using Standard Receiver Determination if entire input is invalid.

As of yesterday I have been having a wierd problem with my Windows phone, and exploring through the web, I've seen a couple of other people with this problem as well, with no one really coming up with any other solution but to do a hard reset, which I abosuletly want to avoid. So my problem is that I don't seem to have any internet access, regardless if I am connected to 4G or through wifi. This is real wierd because it just started happening all of a sudden. I didn't do any update, didn't download anything new, nothing like that.I know for a fact that I'm simpily not just mistyping addresses or have airplane mode on, I'm stumpted as to why this is happening. To add another layer of confusion, I don't seem to receive all calls I get. For instace: yesterday, one of my friends called me, I received his call right? Well later that day, my Father apparently called me, but I never received any nottification or even a voicemail that he ever did. What the heck is going on here and what can I do to resolve this??

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been experiencing issues with your phone.
When you say you’re unable to access the internet, is it just via your Web browser? Or is it apps that require data such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.?
Have you tried via more than one Wi-Fi network as well?
Try to open up att.com/ttr via your mobile web browser; do you see a confirmation page?

Problems with receiving signed message in outlook

I have a problem with signing message using Javamail. I use a sample program code that I got from some tutorial - it seems to work fine but when I receive the message using outlook express there are fallowing warnings:
- the message has been changed by untrusted people
- the e-mail address from the certificete:... (here ma address) doesn't match the address of the sender:... (here no adress)
I set all the varables: 'sender', 'replyTo', 'return-path' and 'from' with my address used in the certificate. I don't know why there is no address after the word: sender. Maybe some of you had such a problem, solved it and could share with me what is wrong with my message?

It's me again. I solved the problem.
The first warning was because I changed the message after signing it, before sending :), and the second (that was worse) was because I was setting up all possible fields: sender, from, reply to and return-path - only sender should be set - now everything works great :)

Problem with text determination procedure

here we r finding text determinations procedures for purchase order in spro - img conflagration as follows materialmanagement-purchasing-messages-text for messages-define text for po.by going here i had a view where both header and item text for different po is maintained.
now i want this text to be printed in my purchase order every time with different item selected there should be different item text should be selected.
1. the major problem when inserting into medruck form as insert-text-standard text, here it selecting the text object as TEXT BUT FOR DIFFERENT MATERIALS IT SHOULD SELECT MATERIAL as text object then only i can retrieve the material text's.
if any one can forward a document r help to solve this problem and solution suggestions.
this is a very important requirement.pls forward it as early as possible,

Thanks for your suggestion. This would be a possiblity going forward, but we have existing tickets that would still be missing the interaction text. This apparently worked before we upgraded to SP 14, so I don't think there is a problem with our configuration.
I created some new test tickets, and found that the interaction text is still being copied and saved in the ticket log, even after text is added to the ticket. The problem is that the interaction text is not visible from IC Web. It is visible when looking at the ticket in the SAP GUI (transaction CRMD_ORDER).
For example, here is the contents of the Log text as seen in SAP GUI (I use "TICKET" or "INTERACTION" in the text to indicate where the text originated):

SENDER>XI>RECEIVER , both sender and receiver are Synchronous, in this case how many receiver determenations do i need. will one receiver determination will do as the routing logic is already known to the system.
