Problems with Siri and Contacts (outside the US)

I have 3 major software problems (bugs) and i would like to report them in hopes that Apple would release a quick and prompt fix for these problems.
I think i speak for many when i say ever since the IOS 5 release users have noticed a major issues/problem with the format of their contacts and area/country codes.
Problem # 1.
I live in Kuwait, and all my contact details have a country code (GSM) prefix +965 followed by 8 numbers. With the last IOS 5 release whether you add or remove the prefix the contact's name is not displayed on the caller ID. I tried to save the contact as it shows on my Caller ID but the problem presisted. I even tried switching international assist on and off and that didn't work either. There's a huge forum for Apple customers outside the US facing problems with their contacts and caller ID ever since IOS 5 was lanuched.
Problem #2.
I have bought my Iphone 4S just few days ago, excited about Siri like many, i asked Siri to call George from my contacts, and Siri replies i'm sorry i can't call george, i tried all my contacts and all attempts failed, i tried adding the country prefix, and removing it and still Siri can't make calls from my own phone book (contacts). I do realize that Siri is in Beta, however, Siri did dial a US number perfectly from Kuwait, which tells me the problem is again related to where you are, and what country code format are you trying to call.
Problem # 3.
When setting up Imessage, Kuwait is not listed in the countries of choice, not sure why but it would good if all the countries are listed.

Reinstallation for IOS skype. problems with groups and contacts

I was having a problem with Skype on my Iphone; new messages wouldn't load, and if they did it was around 10 minutes after they sent them. So I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it. As soon as I logged into my account I realized most of my contacts didn't have a profile picture, nor did it have our conversations. It also got rid of all my skype groups; I still got notifications for those groups, but if I clicked on them it would bring me to a page saying that it's an empty group. Also if I get on skype on my laptop everything is fine, I still have my groups, my contacts all have pictures and our conversations are still there. I tried to reinstall it on my phone again, but this time all my groups were still gone, but different contacts wern't complete. Because I still had the contacts I tried to send a message on of my contacts that didn't have a profile picture and although it said it sent, I never got a reply. So I got on my laptop and asked if he got it, and he said he didn't. Is anyone else haing this problem? If so do you know how to fix it? Thank you

Ok I just talked to support via chat and apparently this is a known iPhone mobile App issue. This is exactly what he said to me: "I was informed that this issue already have a ticket to our engineers and they are already working on this one. This has something to do with the latest version of Skype for tablets and mobiles. We may release another version of Skype app so once an update is avaialble, update the app on your phone ASAP." Hope this ease some frustration.

Problem with changes and visualization in the forms

I have a problem with forms, the problem is the next, I do a modification in the database with a update or with form and in other station no visualized the change. The other station need close the form and open for visualize the modification.
Why I have this problem

I am not sure what you mean. Are you saying that after one form changes and commits data, it is not visible on the other user's screen?
If that is the problem, unfortunately, that is the way Forms works. A form must re-query the data to see changes on the database. If your form must close and re-open, then you should create a trigger in your form to re-query the same data.

Is there any problem with having both interlaced and progressive on the same timetine ? EG will DVD work OK?

Hey Narada,
I've had projects where I used both and DVD worked just fine. The only thing I'm not sure about now, though, is what I had my field dominance set to. I'm pretty sure it was set to the default so either lower or higher. This leads me to ask the old pros around here a second question:
What happens to progressive video that's placed in a timeline with a field dominance? Is it no longer treated as progressive?
Anyway, to answer your question my DVDs worked just fine.

Problem with minimize and maximize of the AIR WIndow

If I execute the below code I will get an window with 100 buttons. With vertical scrolling on.
If I bring the vertical scroll down say positioned at some button. Minimize it using minimize button and maxmize it . The vertical scroll position is resetting to the top.
I am not able to figureout how to resolve this issue. I appreciate any help in this regard.

imaginebeth, not all ppl have set it up the iMessage feature they just turn off the option on their apple devices, i had few friends that i know they have iPhone iPad , iPod and they just do not use iMessage because they said are using the same apple ID in all their devices and the imessages drop in they message app, i know that happend but just some do not like use that feature, if u send a text to one of ur contacts that has iPhone and the message go in green color that is because they are not using iMessage feature or some are out range from cellphone towers signal sometimes happend with few of my contacts.

Problems with Siri and Mail after upgrading

Siri will no longer do text command phones random people instead.
My yahoo mail after fetching shows updated days before and shows
Unread mail but won't show them logging into yahoo I have no unread mail??

Is anyone having problems with siri and mail servers?

I'm in Colorado and am using a 4s on verizon. Both yesterday and today I've had problems downloading mail from the servers. Both accounts are used as apple ID's and are tied to my icloud account.
Siri has also been failing me yesterday and today.
Is anyone else experiencing problems?

Problems with cut and paste within the code editor in JDeveloper 10.1.3 EA

Copy and pasting doesn't work as expected. If I copy some code and paste it somewhere else, i get completely different code, (it seems to paste a piece of code from somewhere else in the source).
I tried expanding + signs, this didn't help.
I'am running JDeveloper on Windows XP Professional.
Does anybody else have the same problem.
Is this a bug?

We've tracked down this issue thanks to Tullio's supplying us with a reproducible testcase. It's related to the "Automatically Copy Paste Imports" preference (which is on by default) in the Tools->Preferences->Code Editor category of IDE preferences. It seems to also be related to having renamed a source path directory to have a name that is only different by case from the name it originally had. Disabling this preference is a workaround for EA1.
For example, if you started out by creating your workspace with a source directory named "Src", then later renamed it to "src", this seems related to the situation when this issue can occur. Renaming the directory back to match what it was before is another workaround for EA1.

Problems with iMessage and Contacts after changing Apple ID

I went in on my computer to change my primary e-mail for Apple and it prompted me to change my password. After I changed the e-mail and the password, my iMessage stopped working on my computer and my iPhone. On the computer, iMessage now works through my iCloud e-mail only. I really wish it would go back to working through my cell phone number. Additionally, now all my contacts have been deleted, on the computer and the iPhone. Is there any way I can get iMessage to work through my cell phoone number on my computer again and get my contacts back on either device?

Well did you change the apple id in imessage?
settings - message - add your new id and delete the old id.
Or turn off imessage and then back on to reactivate with your new id.

Problems with synch and connection to the store.

When i connect my iPhone 3Gs with my Windows PC 64 Bit and try to synch the progress bar stops at a certain point and nothing happens (even after an hour).The second problems occurs when i try to connect to the iTunes Store. Either way nothing happens ( at the progress bar) or an error appears and says check your internet connection or try again later. I checked my internet connection and tried it about 10 times. I deinstalled iTunes and re-installed it repaired it and restarded the pc, made all updates and it's still not working. Please Help!

is my first time with apple. I expected more quality, but my computer has presented cracks in several parts so inexplicable and never dropped, besides the Trackpad does not work well. I am disappointed

Still problems with firefox and chrome on the slideshows.

Hello, I've been struggling with this problem for several days now. I can't get firefox 3.06 or chrome to load the slideshow created on iweb 3.03. Chrome would not even load the albums.
Works fine on Safari.
I reinstalled iweb. Nothing changed.
Some of my friands could create sites that work fine without any particular patch, but some other people seem to have my problem as well. Any idea anyone?

Is anyone else having problems with scrolling and games since the recent iOS7.1 update?

The scrolling on my iphone 5s has gone haywire since the recent update to iOS7.1.
Its worse in Twitter and FB. When trying to scroll down the page its sending you up the page or its just flashing and not scrolling at all.
When playing games it seems to be taking ages for certain games to catch up and the touch screen doesn't seem to work.

Did you do a reset?

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
