Problems with Skype account creation when signing ...
I recently created my Skype account by signing in with my Microsoft Account. I used my outlook account when creating the Skype account. However, when the account was created, my hotmail account which is linked to my Outlook account was listed as the primary email. I think the Skype name was also based off the hotmail email.
I fail to understand why this is so when the Outlook email was listed as the primary email in my outlooko account. To make matters worse, I am unable to update my profile as the SKype account prompts me for a password when doing so. Typing in the password to my outlook gives an error.
Is there any way to rectify this? I would very much like to use my Outlook email as the Skype name and not the one on the hotmail account. The two email addresses are very different.

"There is a problem with your account..." when opening online OneNote file within local OneNote app

We have a tenancy DirSync connection a small number of staff so that they can have access to SharePoint, Visio and OneNote Online. When one such user logs onto the http://[groupsite].sharepoint.com site on his Windows 7 PC with Office 2013 installed,
he can access the site successfully. He might then open a OneNote file online. However, if he was to then click the "Open In OneNote" button from the toolbar, and clicked "Yes" to the Microsoft OneNote Security Notice:
"Microsoft Office has identified a potential security concern. This location may be unsafe".
... and then sign in with the same account to this box
... and then enters his correct credentials into the next "Sign In" window, it returns with the following message:
"There is a problem with your account. Please try again later".
Finally, the following message is returned within the MS OneNote app:
"We couldn't open that location. It might not exist or you might not have permission to open it. Please contact the owner of onenote:https://[groupsite].sharepoint.com/sites/....one#SharePoint Team Site for more information."
The user has reinstalled MS OneNote 2013 on the PC with no change. We have also removed all cached credentials from within Windows Credential Manager and rebooted with no success. The user can access all web-based resources such as SharePoint, OneNote and
Visio, and he can open web-based Visio files locally on the locally-installed Visio app with no issues. This problem is specifically experienced when opening an online version of OneNote locally on a PC that has either MS OneNote 2010 or OneNote 2013.
Any assistance that you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.

My Windows Account is already used to log into OneNote. It is the same Windows Account used to log into, and access online, the SharePointOnline, OneNote Online, etc., services. I tried, indeed, to sign out from my account within the client-version of OneNote
but it returns the message "We can't remove Windows accounts".
Again, this is the only account that has been used with this installation of OneNote, and it is that which has been uploaded by way of DirSync to Azure. It works for online versions of OneNote items, SharePoint and Visio, and for VisioOnline-based files
that are opened within the local client-version of Visio. When trying to open the OneNote Online notebook within the local client-version of OneNote we get this issue.
I have reinstalled Office with no success.
Any help that you can provide in this regard would be greatly appreciated.

when sending email through yahoo account , i cant upload any attachment with email, a sign of uploading lasts forever without uploading the file.
this issue do not happen with hotmail account or when using IE to browse Yahoo account.Install ClamXav and run a scan with that. It should pick up any trojans.

I had Windows 8 installed on my corporate laptop till last week and as the OS crashed, I have re-installed the system with 8.1 and it has Office 2013 installed with my corporate ID. It is signed in Corporate credentials by default. But when I am trying to
use Switch Account option and trying to login with my Microsoft ID to sync my notebooks, it throws an error : "There is a problem with your account. Please try again later".

Could you please try the following:
Check if you are able to login to other office apps with your Microsoft account.
Check if you are able to login to the OneDrive app using your Microsoft account.

I have 2 problems with merging accounts:
1) Opportunity is not moved from source data to master data. I do not know why. Central BP is changable.
2) Contact Person is only copied, not moved. This causes problems later on when we want to delete the source data.
Any idea how to solve this?

The problem with opportunities in my system is, that they are not merged at all, not even with the batch job. I checked trx. BUSWU02. Node CRM370 is assigned to variant CLEAR_REP.
Also the central Business Partner in opportunity remains changable, once the opportunity was saved.
Anything else I have to check??

when i unchek the card information it was show me an error!Though you are being asked for card details it doesn't necessarily mean that the card will be charged for the purchase (unless you want to gift content). Have you tried entering your card's details to confirm the account ? You should then be able to remove it.

then you will need to enter card details (debit cards are no longer accepted in all countries) before the account can be used to download any item from the store. -

It sounds like you may be setting up your iPhone after updating to iOS 7.

Check your mail server setup (mail>preferences>accounts>) choose your MobileMe account and select Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) dropdown box, select Edit SMTP server list, verify that each instance of the me server has a password, if there are more than one and you only have one account then delete the one without a password. -

I'm running a G4 and 10.411 using an old version of skype with a software patch that I found in one of the skype topics on this site. It has been working fine for months now. I don't use video just audio. I have a subscription to call land lines. The problem I am having is that I can call out and hear the person I am calling, but they can't hear me. Is there a problem with skype today? Or have they made changes as of today that do not permit people to use the patch and an old version of skype? Any information would be much appreciated.

Go to Solution.The problem has seemed to have gone away. The problem started yesterday on two different computers. Today, on one of the computers I ran a utility called Mcjanitor that I had installed years ago but very rarely ran it. I neglected to try skype prior to running the utility. On computer #2 I tried booting from an old utility disk called techtoolpro. I was unable to boot from the disk after several attempts and restarts. Both computers are running better and skype now works again on both. I sent an email earlier today to a tech support guy from my ISP about my recent problems with skype. In conclusion I can't explain why skype now works on both computers. I can only guess that I reset something when I used (attempted to use) a utility disk. The other possibility is that my ISP guy did something on his end. Or, lastly, that skype had problems that were remedied by skype today.

I changed my Apple ID and had problems with my Account.Once iTunes Store had sorted those out I decided to back up on my 3 devices.Now my Notes and Reminders are all old ones and the new ones I created in the last few days have disappeared.
Ok. Found something that said to shut down and hold the option, command, p, and r keys on restart. Held them down for a few restarts and everything automatically signed in and works. Woohoo!!!
