Problems with Slide Navigator while skipping slides

When I was running my show, I had to skipped my slides twice. For example, when I am at slide 3, I pressed "+" and went to a slide 7; then I had to press "+" again to go to slide 9. When I am going to slide 9, slide 3 would actually appear for a split second then slide 9 would appear. All these slides has "build" in it. When I tried this with slides without "build", there are no problems. Anyone else experienced this?

Well, you have to look in different places for transitions.
Slides can have them but you have to specifically configure them.
Objects have them by default (Fade in and fade out)
The project itself is usually configured with a "Fade in on first slide" and a "Fade out on last slide".
Click Edit > Preferences > Project > Start and End

We know that in 11g section navigation replaced with conditions and Guided navigation replaced with action link.. but
do we need to recreate those reports in actions and condition or is there any work around avoid reworking.

To access any database fromm XI, using the JDBC adapter, the corresponding drivers have to be installed on the XI server.
Just check this note 831162.

OK, let's try again. Wind is NOT a supported carrier. In order to use tethering, it must be supported and activated by your carrier for the iPhone. This usually involves an additional fee. You will have to ask your carrier if they can enable it. Odds are, since they are not a supported carrier, they can not. If you want to use tethering, you will most likely have to switch to a supported carrier that offers this feature on the iPhone.

N79 - problem with central navigation key

I've got a problem with my N79. The central navigation key refuses to work after I play a N-gage game (hooked on, to be specific). Rebooting helps but it's so irritating.
Anyone knows how to solve this?

I tried a couple of other N-gage games - the central key didn't freeze.
A strange thought vame to me - those games were trial, Hooked on is paid by activation number. And i don't remember having problems when I played Hooked on in trial mode. 0_0
Aha, I just found another way to unfreeze the central key - the keylock slider. It's much better than rebooting, but not less irritating.

Consistant Problems with Google Navigator on Droid Eris

Is anybody else having problems with their Google Navigator on a Droid Eris. This application stinks - I can never expect it to be there when I need it. About a month ago I was using it up in Northern Minnesota to get to a doctors appointment about halfway into the hour long drive it told me "GPS signal lost" then it proceeded to tell me "searching for GPS". It never found the GPS despite the fact that I was in Duluth - a larger city in Northern Minnesota. I ended up having to call the receptionist and she became my turn by turn navigator - embarrassing. I never had this problem when I had the VZ Navigator it was always very reliable. 9 times out of 10 it doesn’t work or takes so long to find a GPS signal that you get lost! Are there any tips, tricks or patches for this? I am seriously considering purchasing a Tom Tom.

Did you get any answers to your inquiry? I'm having the same problem with my Android LG Ally. Also want to connect with other users to find out how to get the last verbal instruction repeated. I miss that from my VZ Navigator. Is there a trick to triggering it?

Any problem with 6110 navigator?

Does anyone has any problem with your 6110 navigator? It seems like the phone always reset on its own and hang whenever the alarm clock goes off. I have sent it back to nokia care center, they upgraded my firmware but it hang when the alarm clock goes off. The nokia care center checked it again and said that it's due to my SIM card. I am not using a 3G SIM card. Does anyone has similar problem?

An older SIM card can cause problems in newer phones. You might want to upgrade your SIM card and see if that cures the problem.

Problem with GRID NAVIGATION EFFECTS WITH JQUERY

Hi All,
Im having problem with this image gallery with navigation (please see link below to see running demo). I am trying to use the 'Row move' style but am having problems getting the function to work. I have the images and everything set up fine but the actual function/navigation isn't working. I have downloaded all the relevant files to my computer but nothing happens when i click on the arrows. Also all of the 20 images are showing instead of just the 2 rows of 3? There should be 2 rows of 3 iamages showing then when the arrows are clicked the next two rows are shown and so on.

Problem with BOM Quant while creating Sales order with reference using BAPI

Dear All,
I am facing problem with creating a slaes order with reference to other sales order by using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 .
Sales order is getting created but
1. It exploding the BOM means the line items which are not there in the reference SO also coming in the new SO ( all BOM items are coming )
2. Schedule line for BOM header item is getting copied to all sub items of BOM.
Can any one help me out to prevent the above deviations in creating Sales order with reference by using BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2.
Note: while passing the parameters to BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2
all the data related to items is exactly the same as in the original Sales Order.

Problem with custom navigation bar

I'm trying to create a custom left navigation bar with adaptive tag. when user click on the link it will direct to a pagelet which is created with page template. How can I do it? I don't understand what is pt:objectid? Where can I look for answer? I just need a simple example. Thank you.

You can get the object id from the "Edit this Community" feature under "My Communities" then look in "properties and names". If you look in the address bar you could also see the objid in there (objId=1234). I was having problems with this too.
What I did was use the ptdata tag like this:

<p>This is for a community that has subcommunities. you could also do the same thing with pages instead.
Short explaination:
This line sets up a data object for the current community data and assigns it the variable name "currcomm":

<p>This line gets the subcommunities for a particular community (in this case commid="1234" ). You specify which community with the pt:commid.

<p>I added a static "home" tab that will always link to my top level page of the community. this is optional and there may be a better way of doing it:

Like I said, you can use the same process for pages instead of subcommunities by using the communitypagesdata tag instead of subcommunitiesdata. You could also combine the two and list all the subcommunities with a foreach loop and inside each loop get the pages from the communitypagesdata with the commid set to the subcommunity objid for that subcommunity.</p><p>

Problem with two parallel While loops

I have a serious problem with controlling two parallel While Loop. Here is the deal:
I have written a VI to send a series of commands called Cycle through Serial Port to a custom hardware. One of these commands is setting motor pressure by sending it's command and changing it's voltage. After setting desired pressure I have to read and control motor pressure, again through serial port in a parallel loop. There is a Pressure Sensor in system and I can obtain current's motor pressure by sending a command and receiving pressure value. In the first While loop I send some commands to hardware including Pressure Setting Command trough a state machine. In the second While Loop I read pressure value and then decide to increase motor voltage or decrease it. Now the problem is in communicating these two loops. In cycle after "Init" state when state reaches "Pressure 2 Bar" motor voltage will increase. Meanwhile I have to control this voltage in parallel While Loop. As you can see I used Local Variable to communicate between these two loops. The problem is that loops are not synchronized. Specially when I switch to "Pressure 3.8 Bar" state during cycle running control loop (second while) is still working based on "Pressure 2 Bar" state not 3.8 bar. Because of this motor pressure goes to 3.8 bar for a sec (becuase of "Pressure 3.8 Bar" state) and comes back to 2 bar (because the second while still has not gotten that new state,most probably cause of all the delays in the loop) and after couple seconds it goes back to 3.8 bar.
I really don’t know what to do. Is there a way to fix this? Or I should consider a better way to do this?
I went through Occurrence Palette but couldnt figure out how to embed that in the VI.

I make it a point to NEVER have a WAIT function inside a state machine.
It sort of defeats the purpose, which I define as "Examine current state; decide whether you've met the conditions to advance to another state, then get out".
For example, I have a single state machine VI controlling four identical instruments, via TCP connections.
For some functions, that means issuing a command, waiting 60 seconds, then reading results.
If I waited INSIDE the state machine, then it's tied up waiting on one device and cannot handle any others.
Not a good plan.
To handle this, I have a loop which calls the state machine. After issuing the command, the state goes to "Waiting on Response", and there is a target time of 60 seconds from now.
It's called over and over in that state, and each time merely compares NOW to the target time. If NOW is past the target, then we read the results.
the state machine can tell the caller when to call back; that's how I distinguish between an urgent need and nothing-to-do.
By having the CALLER do the waiting, instead of the state machine itself, the state machine is free to handle another device, or do something else on the same device.
You should be calling the state machine over and over and over anyway. So, have the state machine "control the pressure" on every call, and THEN examine whatever state it's in.

Problems with iTunes. Music skips and hisses. Sound is terrible. I have an IPad 2 and iOS7.1.

Problems with iTunes. Music. When I put on my ear buds, I hear it more clearly. There is this skipping and hisses. If you are an old (50)audiophile like I was when I was young, it sounds sort of like a record is skipping on my turntable. When I try to play a song it skips, jumps around and the Sound is terrible. Try reset all settings
Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings
Note: Data will not be affected but settings for Wi-Fi, FaceTime, Message, Home Sharing, Wall Paper, Sound etc will be reset

Problem with Absolute Navigation (External Window) and Light Framework Page

Hi All,
We are using Light Framework page for the portal devolopment. We have an application including two webdynpro iviews where absolute navigation is used to traverse from first iview to second iview (When user clicks a button on first iview). We are showing the second iview in external window (SHOW_EXTERNAL). When ever i clicks the button to traverse to second iview, i am getting an exception.
When we are showing it in same window (SHOW_INPLACE), it is working fine. But the iview is appeared in half of the page with scrollbars. It is working fine with default framework page (with both options SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL) and dispalyed in original size as mentioned in iview properties.
Could you please suggest us whether there is any work around for this.

I couldn't see the address bar of the window (In which second iview is getting displayed). But i can observe no parameters that i passed from first iview is visible in the view source of the second iview (When SHOW_EXTERNAL is used in absolute navigation). I could see all the parameters in the view source (when SHOW_INPLACE is used for absolute navigation). But i am using the same url for both the options (for SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL).
I doubt about the url being passed when SHOW_EXTERNAL option is used. But when we checked in debug, The correct url is being triggered (Atleast from first iview). Is there any way that could display the second window with address bar. What is making difference between SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL with absolute navigation and light framework page.
Could someone please suggest.

Problem with hierarchy variable while displaying query in Portal

Hi,
I came up with an problem with a query in the portal. The problem is :
I have one query which is displayed in the portal. The Query has hierarchial selection criteria. I am executing the same query using analyzer. Its taking the variable from the selection and displaying it on the analyzer. I have used the option to " display the query on web " from the BEX query designer. From there its opening and displaying the results with the given selection criteria.
Where as when i open the query seperately in portal, its not displaying the results.
I came to know from one of my colleague that the porblem is with the Web item and the hierarchial variable declared in WAD was different from the variable declared in the BEX Query designer.
I never Worked with WAD. I tried finding out the variable definition. But i was unable to find out where the Hierarchial variable was defined.
Please help me out regarding the same.
