Problems with SOAP on Weblogic 8.1

This is my piece of Java code inside a servlet.
soapMessage is OK (I write it to a file), but is a problem in line 7.
1 soapMessage =
messageFactory.createMessage(headers, new ByteArrayInputStream(data));
2 logger.info("soap "+soapMessage.toString());
3 logger.info("debug 3");
4 SOAPPart part = soapMessage.getSOAPPart();
5 logger.info("part "+part.toString());
6 logger.info("debug 4");
7 SOAPEnvelope envSOAP = part.getEnvelope();
All run fine on Tomcat 4.1.27, but on Weblogic 8.1 I have got an error
"java.lang.ClassCastException."
All jar's I need are in a CLASSPATH of Weblogic server
messgaeFactory is java.xml.soap.MessageFactory (not weblogic MessageFactory)
implemented in com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.MessageFactoryImpl
This is from log file:

Hello,
To solve this problem is to add a line in init() method:
System.setProperty( "javax.xml.soap.MessageFactory",
"com.sun.xml.messaging.saaj.soap.MessageFactoryImpl" );
In this case servlet use a Sun's factory implementation, not weblogic.
Now it's working fine.
Thanks for help

Hello,
On the surface, the issue may be that you are mixing implementations.
Looks like "com.sun.xml.messaging.blabla" on the stack could be causing
one (at least) problem.
See Michael's response about mixing stacks:

  • Another problem with SOAP sender

    I have another problem with SOAP scenario in a different environment (PI 7.0) from my earlier post.
    Scenario:
    Soap Sender -> PI -> Soap Receiver
    Following steps from GoogleSearch SOAP scenario in the SAP How-to Guide for SAP NetWeaver '04 entitled: "How To... Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter" version 1.00 - March 2006.
    I have loaded in the api.google.com/GoogleSearch.wsdl file as an External definition and created the SOAP receiver as described in the How-to guide.  It takes a doGoogleSearch as input and sends back a doGoogleSearchResponse (Sync Call).
    Note that the GoogleSearch.wsdl contains a complex type ResultElementArray that refers to ResultElement\[\], and a DirectoryCategoryArray that refers to DirectoryCategory\[\].  The ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types are defined in the GoogleSearch.wsdl file.
    Problem One:
    The generated WSDL for the SOAP sender contains the ResultElementArray and DirectoryCategoryArray types but it DOES NOT contain the required ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types.  XML Spy complains that this WSDL is not valid because the type ResultElement\[\] is not defined.
    Problem Two:
    I generate a SOAP message in XML Spy, provide values for the doGoogleSearch fields, and send.  In SXMB_MONI, the SOAP sender payload contains only the <key> value from the doGoogleSearch message body, i.e. <part name="key" type="xsd:string" />
    The other doGoogleSearch fields seem to be missing, i.e.
      <part name="q" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="start" type="xsd:int" />
      <part name="maxResults" type="xsd:int" />
      <part name="filter" type="xsd:boolean" />

      <part name="lr" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="ie" type="xsd:string" />
      <part name="oe" type="xsd:string" />
    Does anyone know why:
    (1) PI/XI seems to leave out the ResultElement and DirectoryCategory types from the SOAP sender service WSDL file?
    (2) The doGoogleSearch message seen in SXMB_MONI contains only the first <key> field, and not the other fields?
    Thanks for any help with this.

  • Problem with SOAP Attachment in MM7

    I implemented a simple Handler with a system.out in

    method
    But weblogic never gets there. It gives me this error instead:

    If I remove it, it can reach the handleRequest() method.
    Unfortunately I need the Content parameter....
    Does weblogic support href attributes in soap ?

    Hello,
    Problem 1)
    In a previous question about this in SDN, someone (sorry, can't remember who) answered:
    "Have you or the user logged into the SAP GUI before? If not, have them login in. Our problems occured
    with new users that never logged into the SAP gui and so the user profile was never loaded with the ini
    file."
    Please try that.
    Problem 2)
    Are you sure it's running with the same variant in the background?
    What if you try every 5 minutes instead - maybe a minute is too short and it gets mixed up.
    You could also try copying RSWUWFML2 to ZRSWUWFML2, inserting an infinite loop and then attaching to it in order to debug it in the background.

  • WLS 7.0 sp2 - Servlet Problems with SOAP messages

              I'm using Weblogic 7.0 SP2 and trying to create a Servlet to receive SOAP wrapped
              XML messages. I'm getting the following error. Is this a problem with WLS7.0sp2's
              support of JAXM? The System.out.println's indicate I have successfully received
              the incoming SOAP request and then successfully formatted the SOAP response, but
              upon returning saving the response it appears to blow up. Does anyone have any
              suggestions?
              I need to do the following in a servlet:
              - receive an incoming SOAP request with an embedded XML message
              - perform some processing
              - return a SOAP response with an embedded XML message
              Should I be using JAXM? Or can I do this same task easily with JAX-RPC?

    Michael,
    I got the same error on WLS8.1/Win2K professional and apache FOP (old version).
    After digging into the WLS code and FOP(old version). i found the conflict happens
    on
    the "org.xml.sax.parser" system property. In WLS code, they hard coded like the
    following when startup weblogic server:
    System.setProperty("org.xml.sax.parser", "weblogic.xml.jaxp.RegistryParser");
    But the FOP code try to use the "org.xml.sax.parser" system property to find the
    sax parser then conlict happens.
    Here is the response from BEA support :
    "I consulted with our developers regarding the question of whether we can change
    the hard-coded value for the java system property: org.xml.sax.parser by using
    a configuration parameter and I found that unfortunately there is no specific
    setting to change the value. As you had mentioned in your note the org.xml.sax.parser
    system property can be changed programmatically in your application code."
    I solve my problem by using newer apache FOP (it never use the system property:org.xml.sax.parser
    any more) and XML Registy for WLS8.1.
    Good luck.

    Help.
    When we migrated from WLS 6.1 to WLS 7.0 SP2 when encountered a problem
    with XML
    parsing that did not previously exist.
    We get the error "weblogic.xml.jaxp.RegistryParser is not a SAX driver".
    What does this mean? And, what should we do about it.

    <Orders>
    <H01/>
    </Orders>I've tried a lot of things and I'm probably overseeing something stupid, but I'm stuck.
    It seems as if anything without soap: namespace cannot be processed by my XSL (when I add it in the input XML and XSL it works).
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Greetings,
    Erik

    Yes, I found it!
    The following XSL for the same XML doc works!
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xsl:transform xmlns:ean="http://www.ean.nl" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0" xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" exclude-result-prefixes="soap">
    <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
    <xsl:template match="soap:Envelope">
    <Orders>
         <H01>
              <xsl:value-of select="ean:testthis"/>
         </H01>
    </Orders>
    </xsl:template>
    </xsl:transform>Thanks, you pointed me in the right direction :-)
    Erik

  • Newline problem with soap

    I'm having these weird problems with newlines. I'm sending \n in a message because I have a multi lined message i want parsed. Axis is receiving the message and throwing exceptions. I printed out the line it's parsing and it's giving this error that it can't parse:
    '2.5
    PID'
    The parser is not supposed to parse past the \n but it seems to be trying to. I've tested this without webservices and it works fine, adding webservices into the equation gives me these errors.

    Additional info: The problem is the same in the entire environment here (PI DEV, QAS and PRD) and on another PI machine.
    So I doubt very much if it's cache related.
    Edit: This is the 'application error':

  • Problems with Requests in Weblogic 6.1

    Hi,
    i am using weblogic in my project both as a webserver and as the application server.
    But i am facing problems with requests being sent to the server. Basically i have
    a form in my jsp which, if submitted by multiple clients at the same instant in
    time, the server gets confused and mixes up the data in the requests !! the form
    is submitted to another jsp which in turn calls a SLSB which in turn calls various
    entity Beans to fulfill the request.
    Now if 2 or more clients hit the submit button together, the server is mixing
    the data from the requestsand i get corrupted output as a result.
    That if i submit values (a,b,c) from one client machine and values (x,y,z) from
    another machine, the server puts one of the transactions properly and in the other
    it picks up the data from the other request and takes something like (x,y,c) !!
    Is this a bug in Weblogic 6.1 or am doing something wrong ??
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Raja

    Make sure your JSP scope is set correctly:
    <jsp:useBean id="beanName" scope="session" class="abc.BeanClass" />

  • Is there a problem with JMS and Weblogic?

              Hi,
              I am using JMS and Weblogic (Not Message Driven bean).
              My problem is that after some time my listeners disappears.
              I am sending them a message and instead of 6 listeners
              I get only 4 messages.
              So, My question is: Is there any problem working with JMS

              Thanks,

  • Problems with IIS and Weblogic 6.0 Redirecting thru IIS

    Hi
    I have just installed Welblogic 6.0 and I am having problems with the configuration
    of the ISAPI Plugin.
    I created the iisproxy.ini file and then copied that into wlserver6.0/bin directory
    and copied the iisproxy.dll file into the inetpub/wwroot directory for iis to
    see
    Now when I type in my url, I get the default index.jsp page that bea supplied
    but when I try to go to the Admin tool, existing portals created or new portals
    added, I get the following error
    Error 404--Not Found
    From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

    Can any one help, here is my iisproxy.ini file

    ConnectRetrySecs=2

    Seems 6.0 has more than a few proxy problems. We are running IPlanet and have
    had no success in running the 6.0 proxy.
    FYI. We have started using the 5.1 proxy in 6.0 successfully; you might give
    it a try. Not sure we want to put this in production in this condition however.

  • Problem with WLIOTimeoutSecs in weblogic and apche  CSS load balancer

    Hi,
    We are using Weblogic 11g, apache 2.2 and CSS load balancer for load balancing.
    we have huge reports which take minutes to generate and hence we need higher value for WLIOTimeoutSecs. This works fine when we use server url but WLIOTimeoutSecs is not working when we use CSS load balancer.
    We checked with our load balancing team they said CSS load balancer will not repost the request.
    Here is the plugin configuration
    <Location /*****>
    SetHandler weblogic-handler
    PathTrim /
    WebLogicHost 'serevrip'
    WebLogicPort 'port'
    WLIOTimeoutSecs 3600
    Idempotent OFF
    WLProxySSL ON
    DefaultFileName /***/***/index.jsp
    Debug On
    WLLogFile /***/***/***/***.log
    </Location>
    Could some please help me on this.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi Tarun,
    The problem occurs when the SSL is enabled on apache. If I access the same URL over HTTP, the parameter WLIOTimeOut works fine.
    Also I observed that, none of the parameters are getting applied to the plugin. I had switched on 'DebugConfigInfo'. With this the HTTP URL with ?__WebLogicBridgeConfig as query parameter returned the complete configuration. However when accessed with HTTPS the server did not return the configuration.
    Is there a specific configuration to be applied when apache is used with SSL?
    Thanks for your help,

  • Problem with security in Weblogic 8.1

    Hi, my name is Jesús Chávez Reyes and it is my first time in this forum.
    My problem is related with security in WL 8.1 because I am new in this matter. My problem is :
    I work in change completely the security of an enterprise application that is deployed in WebLogic 8.1 and your security is a based in a RDBMS Custom Realm in Compatibility Security.
    This application is composed by 18 EJB and 4 web applications.
    The objective of this change is:
    1.- Use a external system for authentication (though a web service).
    2.- If is possible: unbind security of WL for in a future deploy the application in other Server(Jboss for example).
    I'm trying to implement security with Acegi and Spring in a one of the four web applications. I deleted all it has to do with security in deploy descriptors and deleted the realm.
    At this point I can login in , using the Web Service of the external application, without difficulty.
    The problem arises when the application makes an instance of the EJB's. This is the way how the application makes the instances of the EJB:
    InitialContext context = new InitialContext( null );
    Object   = context.lookup(name); // name=GroupSessionFacade   (JNDI Name of EJB)
    EJBHome home = (EJBHome) objref;
    +...+
    GroupSessionFacadeHome home = (GroupSessionFacadeHome) objref;
    groupFacade = home.create();
    In this point GroupSessionFacadeHome home = (GroupSessionFacadeHome) objref the application throws ClassCastException. This happens with all EJB.
    The application work fine before of to use Acegi and remove all it has to do with security. I inspect the Object " objref " before and after and this happen:
    BEFORE
    Class Name: control.ejb.GroupSessionFacadek1696tHomeImpl
    SuperClass : weblogic.ejb20.internal.StatelessEJBHome
    Implement : weblogic.ejb20.internal.StatelessEJBHome , control.ejb.GroupSessionFacadeHome
    AFTER
    Class Name: control.ejb.GroupSessionFacadek1696tHomeImpl
    SuperClass : weblogic.ejb20.internal.StatelessEJBHome
    Implement : weblogic.ejb20.internal.StatelessEJBHome
    Here The object no implements the InterfaceHome "control.ejb.GroupSessionFacadeHome" !!!!!!!!!, this is the cause of ClassCastException.
    What is the problem? Is it a security problem? and if so what do I need to remove or add in the application and has no dependence on anything for the security of Web Logic?
    The deploy descriptors are:

    I am having a jsp which contains 4 links to portals.
    Portal is hosted on Weblogic 8.1 GA App Server.
    Request to App Server goes through our iPlanet Web Server, which is hosted
    on
    port 9077.
    The initial page from home page from App server is normal JSP (not part
    of portal)
    so it shows URLs like
    e.g.- http://hostname:9077/something...
    Now when i click on one of the 4 links whcih takes me to the respective
    portal with the port 9077 mentioned in the browser link.
    But the portlets within the portals contains links without 9077 port
    e.g. http://hostname/something...
    The hostname is the name of iPlanet Web Server
    The portal pages (view source) contains absolute address for links without
    port

  • Problem with SOAP receiver adapter? Please help!

    Hi experts
       I have the following scenario:
       SAP R/3 -ABAP Proxy>XI--->SOAP --webservice
       As you can see, I am sending data from R/3 system to XI via ABAP proxy. XI then sends data or calls a webservice via SOAP adapter.
    When I test this scenario I am getting a error in the sxmb_moni that is,
    "com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.DeliveryException: TEXT/HTML; HTTP 504 Gateway Time-out"
    I have checked the webservice url and it is working fine.
    Can somebody tell me why am I getting this error message? How do I resolve this?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi,
    Can you please check the  settings in Soap Adapter with Module Adapter setting with ModuleTranformBean parameters? There may be some problem. use HTTP Adapter and the message type 'HttpPostIn' to send as HTTP Post.
    Also
    There is the note 450226 gives an overview over error codes
    Probably below solution may help you.........
    As an administrator on your portal go to:
    System Configuration > Service Configuration >applications
    Under: com.sap.portal.ivs.httpservice > Services > Proxy
    If any proxy settings are configured you may end up with the problem, so you need to set the "nonProxyHosts" to include the trex host.

    Can you pls. confirm whether the mapping of your XSD fields & BAPI fields are in same sequence. I mean hierarchy is same or not.
    Just to verify, as you said you are using Sync scenario that means you are using ONE Sender Soap & ONE Reciever RFC adapter.
