English - When the iPod is connected to iTunes, look on Device/Apps and make sure *Sync Apps* is ticked and that those Apps also have a tick next to them.

What is the exact name of the application you're trying to launch? Is it in the Applications folder?

Epson: No Duplex Scan with some apps form the mac store

Hallo everyone,
I have an problem with my epson scanner and some apps from the App Store.
My Epson Workforce 3540 can duplex scanning. With Image Capture this works. But with some apps from the appstore, witch uses self-scanning dialogs, and not the image capture dialog, it do not work. I can select duplex scan, the printer scans the first side, change the papger site, and scan the other side, but the application gets only the first side.
I tested one other printer and this worked.
I contact the developer, the said: We use standard apis from apple (ICDeviceBrowser, ICScannerDevice) and their is noch way make a failure. Then I contact Epson and they told me: Contact Apple!
Is this problem new? It must be a driver problem, or? Help!

With some app (in.es filmon) sound doesnt work.

After updated Ipad2 to v 5.01, with some app (in.es filmon) sound does'nt work.
I have already restored tha Ipad bat the problem persist.

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound.
Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. My sound only works through the ear phones with some apps....

With some apps (Games and books) I can only get sound on my IPAD 2 though the earphones...this just recently occured. With movies the sound goes through the speakers just fine. Is there some adjustment I can make so I can hear the games without using the ear phones?

Make sure that you haven't got notifications muted (which will affect most games, but not iPod or Videos apps, nor earphones). I just fixed my problem. I read a post from somebody that had this problem too and he said that in the update of the os this happens and the settings for the lock rotation button has to be set for sound now. That fixed the problem as this person said.

Command key issues with some apps after highlighting with trackpad

When I attempt to use command-c to copy from Microsoft Office or Lotus Notes I often get nothing. I've gotten in the habit of pressing command-c 2 or 3 times to make sure I got it. Its not physical keyboard issue since I do not have this problem with other apps and I tested a BT keyboard as well. I've noticed that other command key sequences also get dropped, e.g. command-u for underline. I've also had the delete key get dropped. It feels like Office and Notes are just to slow to respond and somehow lose the key, this frequently happens after I highlight something and quickly press command-something.
I used tap to touch. If I tap tap drag tap then command-whatever it appears to work. But tap tap drag command-whatever does not appear to terminate the drag. Is there a way to make Office/Notes react faster? Or tune the touch pad? Hack OS/X?

And after all is said and done, you may very well need to restore the device as new and start from the beginning again, especially if the glitch is contained in your previous backup. Restoring from that backup (if it contains the glitch) will also restore the glitch. This is the reason for possibly restoring as new.
Make note of all your Settings (write them all down, preferably using a PC/notepad type program), backup all your music & apps and any other important information you will lose by restoring as new. As far as text messages go, you may not be able to back those up manually (I believe you can but you'd need to purchase additional software for the PC/Mac) and will likely lose them.

Why does my mic only work with some apps?

My mic suddenly stopped working in some apps. I can use it just fine with FaceTime and Skype. It does not work when I use my Phone, Siri, Safari, and Voice Memos. I did a full restore and have the latest version of iOS.

so i am still having trouble installing this app i have pain for the full version after having g the trial i am still getting the finalizing installation cancelling installation problem i have UN-installed all fmobi related files and tried re-installing it but not joy i thought maybe it was a QT file problem but i downloaded another QT dependent app from the store no problem any help would be great thanks

Problems with some Apps in Facebook

This only started Tonight. In Facebook on the right hand side where it displays chat and the number of friends online doesn't seem want to work properly, this takes a few times for it load and show.
When I enter my Texas Hold Em' Poker App on Facebook it does not let me show my chat friend's list nor the chat Window. But when I'm not on my Poker App and in Facebook normally then it works fine.
I was online on Facebook earlier doing something on there while burning something onto Disc suddenly my PC shutdown and started rebooting the System back up to my Desktop on Windows XP, if anyone here can shed any light or possbilities that could help me on this problem that would be greatly appreciated :).

Two IPads one Account Problem with some apps

I have my Ipad2 and Ipad mini. For some reason when I try to download my upgrades from the apps Wow and Master FX, to my new Ipad Mini, I am asked to repurchase. I wrote to the Developer who said to uninstall and reinstall but no luck. I have been able to get upgrades purchased from other apps but not these. Any suggestions?

Did the first app download use the same Apple ID as what you are trying to use for the second app download?

Try a hard reset ie hold the power and home buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider). Are you still using iOS 4.3.3, as in your profile? A lot of apps now need an iOS of 6 or higher for the update to download.
