Problems with stamps after the installation of 9.4.2.

When I try to insert/edit fields in a custome stamp, the programme stops responding and has to close. The stamp and edits I am using are the same as I used in the previous version before the 9.4.2 update.

Hi, yesterday I downloaded and install the last update available for Snow Leopard. After having installed the update, I had problems with Matlab (I use the version R2010a), and the error code is reported below. Do you think the error and the update are correlated? Problems with iPhoto after Maverick installation

After 'free' :-) installation of Mavericks, iPhoto doesn't work...
When I take a look in the App Store I recognized
that It isn't possible to update my Version of iPhoto..?
I bought iPhoto two years ago and I'll not buy it again - the same programm.

This is the current message:
The Photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Problems with GNOME After The Last Upgrade

I have too many problems these days with my Arch box.. And I don't know when or how these problems are solved but I'm really bored about having problem all the time. I don't know all of these are bugs but if they're I'm ready to enter some bug reports.
1) After the last update, Metacity doesn't start automatically. So everytime, I don't have my mouse theme, my thema of borders of the windows, the notes I took with gnome's note applet doesn't disappear.
2) gnome-power-manager is never the same that I used to.. I just found that killing and rerunning it is at least make it work. But it's menus and options is not rich as I was earlier times. It doesn't say that much as it did in the earlier times.

I've same problem with gnome-power-manager, it works only when i kill it with killall gnome-power-monitor and re-run it.
About metacity i don't have problem with it.

Problems with restauration after Anna installation

I have a C7-00. I have installed Anna 1 & 2 after the savings as convinced. My savings are in my computer as a file "extension .nbu". When I try to restore the informations with OVI, everything seems to go well but it is impossible for me to get an access to my former photos and my music. How can I do to solve this trouble above all for the photos wich are important for me. Thanks a lot for the answers.

I updated my phone to the IOS5 on Thursday and can't get emails from my yahoo account. i have deleted the email account from my phone and the added it back to start over and nothing. I am completly lost as to how to solve this problem, but I want m email back. Has anyone else had this problem.

Satellite U200-141: problem with drivers after Vista installation

Hello everyone,
I've just installed Windows Vista and I'm having some problems:
1. Hotkeys don't work (Fn + F1, f2, f3 etc... doesn't work at all).
2. Touchpad - I've aleady installed he driver listed under Vista but although I can use the touchpad normally when pointing, clicking, etc, I can't scroll. By this I mean I can't set up the scrolling region (it used to be the right corner to scroll vertically and the bottom to scroll horizontally). I've checked the autoscroll options on IE and Firefox, and it doesn't work even there.
3. I don't seem to be able to instal the new BIOS.
4. The internet, play, pause, stop, etc, buttons (incorporated) don't work either.
5. I have the product recovery CD but it's for Windows XP and I don't know how to install the drivers from there.
I'd appreciate any help anyone could provide.

1. It will work with Toshiba designed tools and utilities only (designed for Vista at the moment not available)
2. You need Toshiba driver for that

Mavericks is not recognizing iRig as an external microphone when plugin it. iPhone headphones (and mic) work fine. Anyone with the same problem, i have the same issue on 2 Retina macbooks.

Facing Problem With DLL After creating Installer

Hi
I Have Developed to Test The CAN Hardware.
I am Using third party USB to CAN device (Phytec PCAN)
To communicate with PCAN device I have Used PCAN_USB.DLL
I have Tested My Code with the hardware. It Works Fine.
Then I Have Created EXE and Installer. and Install on the other system (
LabVIEW is not installed on that system). But it is not communication with the
Hardware.
If I run the EXE on the system (where LabVIEW is installed) then EXE is
communicating with the hardware.
Please guide me for the same. LabVIEW version - LabVIEW 2009

How are the errors handled in your application ?
I think this should be the first thing to have a look at. Just add to your VI an error indicator and you'll see what's happenning to your application.

Problems with More after patch installation

Hi I recently installed Solaris 10 and thought i'd be clever by using the auto update to install all the latest patches. Now if i try and use the more command i just get "more: r-xr-xr-x: not found" as if it's searching for it.
I haven't set up any users yet so i'm logging in as root. I have checked the dtprofile and /usr/bin is in the path. It's just getting a little frustrating because commands like man that use more don't work now either.

The Photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

Problems with java after the last update- Encylopaedia Britannica 2011

Since updating Java (Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 4) Encylopaedia Britannica, the App will not launch. An error "Cannot launch Java application" - "Uncaught exception in main method: java.lang.NullPointerException" occurs.
Can any users help me solce this puzzle?

I have reinstalled Java 1.5., however I still get a Cannot launch Java application: Uncaught exception in main mehtod: java.lang.NullPointerException.
I have contacted Encylopaedia Britannica, and they have yet to provide me with a solution.

Problem with clock after the switchover to DST

This morning when I checked my phone, it said 7 o'clock, which shuold have been 8.
My time settings are set to automatic, but the phone is putting me in the Cairo region, when I'm in the Sofia timezone region.
I don't know why is this.
What's the problem, so the phone can't recognise i"m in Bulgaria?

The time setting is operator controlled and should follow their time setting. Try switching to flight mode, wait 30 seconds an turn it back off this should reset the cellular connection and vet the proper time setting. The issue your seeing is the same as sometimes happens when traveling between time zones. It should also resolve by itself over time. There is not much you can do really. Alternatively switch to manual time setting and try switch back in a day or so.

Problems with iTouch after the most recent upgrade

I have been having issues like my iTouch running slower, all my apps open up and then close or if they open up will work for about a minute and then freeze, or some of my wifi apps will say there is not connection to the internet. I have wireless internet at my home and it is on all the time. I am so mad I updated my iTouch. Any one know of a fix to these issues?

I too upgraded my 16GB iPod Touch with IOS 4.0 and have noticed slower response times and Apps crashing back to the main screen. Looking at other postings on this site, the general consensus is that we should not upgrade until Apple resolve the issue. However, this does not help those of us that have already upgraded!
I was considering using the iTunes option of restoring a previous IOS version. So, can anyone else help our friend and confirm whether a IOS downgrade or other solution is advisable?

Let's be real clear here -- are you saying you are using Internet Explorer and when you try and download Mozilla Firefox it gets around 75% through and shuts down?
If so there is something wrong with your computer -- or at least IE. I rarely, if ever, recommend this, but it might be time to reformat your hard drive and reinstall your OS (if you are even thinking about doing this the first thing you must do is back up all your data files, preferably to writable media like DVDR or CDR).
If you have a friend with a computer perhaps you can get them to download both the latest iTunes as well as (more importantly) the latest firmware updater, and then install them on your machine (they can write them to their own CD).
The other thing that occurs to me is you might not be logged in as admin on that computer -- make sure you are doing this and are the only user.
Otherwise my brain is fuzzy right now -- perhaps someone else can jump in after you reply (I'm right in the middle of packing for a cross country move and only able to spend about five minutes a day on this board).
