Problems with streaming videos and sound

Hi,
I'm having troubles with streaming videos and I also have sound issues. After upgrading to latest flash player version, everytime I stream videos on the internet (youtube,vimeo,etc.), videos are constantly freezing every 7 seconds. It is so annoying. Also, my audio does not work.
With greatest respect, I would be eternally grateful if you could help me with this.

Everything will be find if you follow those step
Install Window XP service pack 1 or later version
then after install flash the BIOS to V 1.4 from the one that given (1.3)
After flash then enable the Sound card feture and choose Azalia and not AC97 Then at the same time enable the USB and Lan.
Final restart again the computer. The window should detect the 3 thing. Last last install the driver from the CD given. Then everything will work out.

If more than 12 tabs with youtube, video and sound start corrupted

If i open more than 12 tabs with youtube videos and let then open, on every new tab video and sound corrupted.
I'm using Firefox 9 x64 nightly and Flash 11 beta2 x64.

Does this only happen with the nightly or can you reproduce this on other browsers as well?
Are videos playing on the other tabs?
To confirm what you are seeing:
12 youtube pages are open by the time you get to 12 or 13 the video and audio are corrupted?

Problems with streaming video on Quicktime

I have been having trouble with streaming videos continuing to pause, then start playing, pause again and so on. I was wondering if there is something I have done to effect playback or if there something I can do to stop this. Thank you for any suggestions

Welcome to discussions!
It will depend on your Internet Service.
Open / Q-Time Player / Q-Time Preferences / open Streaming section. My preference is set to Automatic, select that or known ISP speed. If you use the Enable Instant-On Drag the blue pointer to the right for more delay befor starting play. Play with this untill you download enough to start and finish videos.

Problem with streaming video

I have a problem with my project. Please help me!
I tried to send a video streaming between 2 computers. I used socket connection and AVReceive2, AVTransmit. When received computer display 59 seconds, it stop the connection, socket is closed and program send a error report.

rohitmadiwal, don't post on old threads. If you have a problem, post a new thread.
The above error was caused by a bug in the JNI code inside of JMF. The best solution to such problems is to reboot your system, and if that doesn't work, reinstall JMF.
If neither of those 2 things fix it, it cannot be fixed.

Problem with streaming movies and photos

I just purchased an Apple TV and managed to stream music from my Vista laptop with iTunes 8 to the ATV with no problems.
However, I cannot get my MP4 video files from my iTunes to show up in the AppleTV. When trying to sync I got the message that there is no rented movies to be sync'ed.
For photos, I cannot find an option as instructed in the Apple FAQ to share the photos from iTunes. So as of now I have music but no streaming of movies nor photos.
May I ask how others with iTunes 8 manage to stream photos and non rented videos?

Actually it was sync'ing, I now found out how configure it to streaming but it is still not find the video.
However I have a bigger problem, this box is mainly used for music streaming and I just found out that it is refusing to play Apple Lossless files, giving me the error "AppleTV cannot play the current song" when I try to access it the shared library.
However, I am able to play from iTunes using AppleTV as a remote speaker.
This is shocking as I bought the AppleTV mainly to play my lossless music.

Episodes with corrupted video and sound

I have a season pass for Chuck season 3, and i have reported errors on some of the episodes where the end is corrupted so the picture freeze and sound is just noise.
Unfortunately the support wont help, they just say that i cant get a refund (i never asked for refund, just for a new download of the file) are there anywhere i can contact when support wont help?

Problems with DSLR video and PR crashing

Hello! I'm a new user to Premiere and am having some problems importing DSLR video (5Dmk3 24p). I've done a lot of searching and have found a few people with similar problems, but I wasn't able to work through figuring it out. So now I'm consulting the best of the best.
My problems: (note: when I say crash, I mean hangs indefinitely. I've never seen an error message through any of this.)
Premiere Pro (5.5) sometimes crashes when I import videos. There seems to be certain videos that make Premiere hang but I can't isolate the problem to a file either. One file will make PR crash one time, when I restart the program the same file will import fine. It's quite rare where I can import an entire folder (~20) of videos, but it happens once in a while.
When I have all my videos imported, when I open up my project some videos will show as offline. Just like my previous problem, the files change each time I open Premiere. Sometimes when I save the project with these offline clips, PR will crash when I try to close it.

My computer: Intel i5, Windows 7 65bit, 16gb RAM, 60GB SSD HD, 1.5TB storage SSD. Premiere is updated (5.5.0 233), I have all the computer/driver updates that I know of.
I've tried reinstalling Quicktime (several times) and also reinstalling Premiere. I've tried changing the scratch disk, the Adobe CS agent said I should import files one by one and from the desktop but to no avail. A work around that kind of works is to import a few files, save, import, save, etc., so that when Premiere crashes, I can keep importing where I left off.
This problem is really bugging me and I would so appreciate it if any of you have some wisdom to share. I read online where someone had a similar problem and ended up reencoding to a different codec as a workaround, but I would rather not have to do that. Thanks you!

Wow wow wow it works! I thought I tried this but I guess not. It was a painful experience but I now know a ton more about troubleshooting Premiere, how codecs work, and am a slightly higher level geek. Thank you so much! This is so much better than reencoding.
I'm super happy to hear this...but I have one quick question: will this be fixed with an update? I just bought CS5 (from CS2) and probably won't upgrade for another ~5 years. I can live with this though, I'm just curious. =)

HP Probook 6540b problem with fan speed and sound card

Sorry for my English.
I have installed Arch 32bit on probook 6540b (it has core i5 processor). Cpufrequtils works well - with governor set on ondemand frequency is adjusting correctly but fun is running max speed all the time. I have tried to configure lm_sensors but it doesn`t detect any sensors. Also fun folder in acpi is empty. It would be great if You could help me.

I have another problem with sound on this laptop. I have IDT 92HD75B3X5 sound chip and snd-hda-intel module loaded for it but it doesn`t make any sound. In Amarok it looks like something is playing because progress bar is moving. I have tried everything from arch wiki and other sources but nothing works. Maybe You can help?

Hi. Yes. I also tried all tricks with model etc. and nothing. Now I have installed oss and have some progress. I have sound on pcm2 when I run osstest, no sound on pcm1 (but it looks in test like it plays something) and input/output errors from pcm3 to pcm7. I have oss output in multimedia in kde and when I run test I can see moving strips or something (I dont know the word for it ) in ossxmix but I hear nothing. I I tried all configurations in ossxmix and nothing.

Problems with Windows x64 and Sound blaster l

Hey, I have this issue with my sound blaster li've. I've just recently installed Windows x64 and now I'm having issues with my sound. It creates this weird echo sound with a small static sound everytime a game. Prior to loading any applications, the sound is just fine. I had this issue when I had Windows XP but I installed the Li've applications and was able stop that. But I can't install that application for Windows x64. Is there any solution to this? Thanks in advance.

Problems with flash video and video chat?

Hi, when I use skype, ichat and when I watch youtube videos (this happens in all browsers) I very often experience problems, such as sound glitches and video glitches.
Sometimes I even have to restart OS as I get a greyed out sceen with a grey error message, asking me to restart my computer.
Other then that my macbook operates well.
Worth mentioning that when I watch movies/videos in VLC or quicktime I do not get any glitches at all.
What might be causing these problems?

Problems with streaming videos from Apple trailers

I currently have QT Pro 7.4.5 and whenever I try to look at video trailers on the apple website a blank video feed appears with the grey playback toolbar thingy on the bottom. I can hear the audio but there is no video. In addition when I click on the high def. option the options for the various qualities of HD do not appear to me immediately, it is only after a few refreshes do the icons appear for 720 or 1080. Can you help me out with both or one, thanks.

There is an app called "stream to me" for the iPad that allows you to stream your movies from your Mac.
I bought it and ot works well. I don't know if you have a Mac but if so, this could be a pretty good solution for you.

SOLUTION to video and sound problems

I know this seems like a very long process, but it actually doesn't take too long (at least with music videos), and it's well worth having the audio and video ligned up properly. So hope it works for you all, let me know how it goes :)
i know a lot of people around are having problems with the video and audio not being together when using converters with mpg files. i've been trying different settings all day and i've come up with the conclusion that muxed mpg files WILL NOT have the audio in sync no matter what settings you use.
HOWEVER, you can download a small, FREE program VirtualDub (which can be downloaded at http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/). (it requires NO INSTALLATION, which is brilliant)
so, once you've got this program opened:
1. first put your muxed video into there (drag it or "file>open file")
2. then go to "video>compression" and select "microsoft MPEG-4 Video Codec V2" and then press "OK".
3. after that, go to "file>save as AVI", select where you want to save it and then press OK.
NOW you have a non-muxed video file, that you can convert using any of the regular converters (Xillisoft, Videora.. etc.) Personally i use Xillisoft's IPod Video Converter, and ta da, you know have a correctly sync'ed audio and video file compatible with the ipod.

EDIT: oh yeah, and after you have your converted file using Xillisoft or Videora, you can delete the AVI file and keep the original if you want.

hmm.. ok.. well perhaps you might need the codec installed on your computer.. this is strange i thought it was default..
can you try telling me what options you do get in there? and i'll search to see if you can download it.. OR you can try just selecting another one, i think at this point it doesn't really matter which one, as long as you use one, because an uncompressed AVI is absolutly HUGE. so try another one from the list (preferabley one that says 'no known restrictions' i think) and let me know if the sound is still good after youthen convert again using videora or xillisoft
