Problems with the browser

Hello,
I make an aplication where I manage projects, accesing a apex as developer and run my application and it works well.
Then I access to the application as final user and when I modify any data, the aplication does not save the values changed.
What Can I do?

3. Check your authorization schemes, maybe they enable/disable certain functionality based on who is logged in. But if you developed the app you should already know this, so that's just a wild guess.

Hi,
Some basics: We are using Robohelp 10 to generate multiscreen html5 output. We used the pharmaceutical screen layout downloaded from: http://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/robohelp-screen-profiles-layouts.html but modified it to match our GUI.
We are having a problem with the browse sequence back and browse sequence next buttons placed in the screen layout from the widgets tool bar. We are in no way experts at this part of Robohelp...and the css portion of all this is a bit of mystery but we have managed to get mostly what we need. Now we just need these buttons to work. In the past we used Airhelp and things worked great. Can anyone help us understand why the sequence buttons are not showing up in the output even though it does in the topic preview?

Problem with the Browsing of Services Registry in Visual Composer

Hi,
I have tried to connect Visula Composer of CE 7.1 to the Services Registry for ES Workplace by configuring 3 Web Service destination on my local server:
1. UDDI_DESTINATION
2. CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION
3. Backend destination "HU2"
as stated in the tutorial "How to Browse an Enterprise Services Registry in Visual Composer" (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/library/uuid/605303db-9d5f-2a10-e0a2-c0e1c8af9e96&overridelayout=true).
After the configuration, I opened up the "Search" dialog in Visual Composer and selected "Service Registry" for the "Search in" drop down list and then clicked on the link "Advanced Search". An error message "XMSG_COULD_NOT_LOAD_CLASSIFICATIONS" was then displayed. I have tried to google the error message but to my surprise there wasn't even a single result for that.
Could anyone please help me on this?

Thanks for your reply. It is actually my intention to try out with the Services Registry for ES Workplace. The thing is, I was able to connect my NWDS to the SR, but not in Visual Composer.
Below are the URLs for both destination.
1. UDDI_DESTINATION: http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/uddi/wsdl/uddi_v3_service.wsdl
2. CLASSIFICATION_DESTINATION: http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/ClassificationService/CS?wsdl
I tried to open the first URL in my browser and a WSDL document was displayed, but for the second URL an error message "503 Service Unavailable" was returned.
Does this mean that the second URL "http://sr.esworkplace.sap.com/ClassificationService/CS?wsdl" might be the cause of the problem?

Cache problems with the browser

I'm using google chrome browser to debug my flex/flash applications.
problem is that a lot of times the browser will not load the newest build!
how do I force it to load it?

Hi guys,
     I ran into the same problem that you have with Chrome Cache, I also tried everything said in this post, and they all didn't work. But then it seemed possible to solve this issue by installing Click&Clean extension in Chrome. After installing Click&Clean for the first time, a settings window appears, in "Clear Private Data When Browser Closes" click "Chrome", then uncheck all but "Empty the Cache", then uncheck "Ask me before clearing" and close the settings window.
     After that, in Chrome Options choose "Under the hood" tab, then click "clear browsing data...", then uncheck all but "Empty the cache", then check if "clear data from this period" is set to "last hour", Finally close Chrome Options window.
     This solution clears all cached swf files automatically when the browser is closed without affecting your browsing history, cookies, or saved passwords. The drawback is that cached images and web content (for the last hour) are all cleared too, but google Chome is the fastest browser in loading contents on earth , so it should not be a big problem.
Please note that Chrome sometimes fails to display the latest build, in that case just refresh the page after a while, and it will work.

Runnung on UBUNTU. Cannot open files hosted by Imagebam. Only started recently. No problems in the past. Contacted Imagebam. They reviewed Linux diagnostic results and think it's a problem with the browser. Any ideas?? Thanks.

They said the results looked okay and that it was probably a browser issue. I have no trouble with any other file hosts and this problem only surfaced in the last few days. Hoping someone can help. Is anyone having a problem with the new iPad (Gen. 3) not staying connected to the charger? It seems to ALWAYS get jiggled loose and no longer be charging. My iPad 1 has no issue but I can't browse Internet w/o new iPad unplugging. Horrible!

I notice that my new IPad (3rd generation) will not stay connected to the power cord at all, I'm not exagerating, if I plug it in and browse the Internet without fail it will become unplugged and I will have to push the plug back in (Ba-beep). Ive actually grown to despise that sound when you plug your iPhone or iPad in because it reminds me of how much money I spent on something that PHYSICALLY will not charge while I'm using it.
I know the problem with it holding a charge while in use, I get it, the screen is amazing and it takes a lot to run the display, however, it is unacceptable to me that I can't even keep the thing plugged in while I'm using it. I can not even leave it on my Cal King bed overnight because I will wake up in the morning to find that the plug has been jiggled loose in a corner, so it's still attached but not making a connection thus not being charged.
I love the 4GLTE from Verizon and I love the iPad, but I'm actually using my 1st generation IPad while I am at home so I can leave my new $900 iPad on a table to charge free of incident so I can use the 4G while I'm away from wifi during the day. I have been getting more upset about this because I can not even use the Griffin extended cord to charge the iPad and be far from the plug because only the original apple sync/charge cord will have a better shot at staying in. Absolutely none of my non apple cables will stay in the iPad 3 while having it in my hands.
The plug is at an angle, unlike the first iPad, not sure about the iPad 2. Please let me know if they have same issue.
If anyone else is having this problem with the Gen 3 iPad please let me know because I'm tempted to do something about it with apple and I'm hoping that I just for some reason have a bad cable receiver or something and maybe I can get a replacement and enjoy the iPad as I had expected to. There is no reason why I should be even using my first iPad and I have friends that want to buy it but I am not selling it because I'm unable to sell it because I can't handle the new iPad while it's plugged in, that is ridiculous if it's a common issue so please let me know!

Thanks for the swift reply, I have been looking online and a loose plug seems to be somewhat of an issue with many, I hope mine is actually a problem and not what others are experiencing. It's taken me this long to even reach out for the simple fact I HATE being a complainer but this is just horrible.

A is the way it should look and B is what happens after I have I opened several tabs. I can get it back to normal if I click on VIEW than click on customize. When the customize window appears FireFox returns to its normal state. I than click on the done box and go back to what I have been doing. I tried resetting FireFox back to default settings, but that did not correct the problem.

I have problem with my Yahoo mail, e-mail take a long time to open (it first opens as a bank page). The provider think is something to do with the browser

Since a couple of weeks my btyahoo email is behaving strangely. It take a while to load when I enter, and if I click on an e-mail it opens a blank, contentless page. After a while I am eventualluy able to see the content, but it is annoying. BT (the provider) had remote access to check the problem and thinks it is something to do with the browser. They suggested I disinstall and install again. Can you advice? Will I lose all my bookmarks if I do so (I have quite a few...)

* The first time you start up any application after turning on your computer is called a cold start, which is why Firefox takes a while to load right away. (I've noticed that future versions of Firefox start up faster on a cold start then Firefox 5.0.1.) Also, a lower amount of RAM could be slowing its start-up down since Firefox is kind of memory hungry.
* As for the second part of your question, press ctrl,Alt, and the delete keys on your keyboard. The Windows Task Manager should start. Go to the processes tab and look for 'firefox.exe'. Right click on the firefox.exe and click 'End Process'. Hit Yes and wait for a minute.
* Then opening Firefox again.

When I click on the short I get the message "windows cannot find [then the web address] make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again. Try to redo the default browser and make another browser like IE the default browser and then let Firefox do it again.

One of my user is facing issue in creating new time sheet,
"The time sheet creation failed, because of problems with the project server or with data validations".
This issue is coming to only few members out of 10000 members.
Note: For the same user, can able to do in other machines. only the problem in his machine. Have ran the office diagnostics, but still the problem persists.
Is any add-on's/any settings need to update in IE. Could any one please help me on how to fix this issue?

Problem with the new server UCS C220 for set IP to CIMC

We’ve a problem with the new server UCS C220.
We bought two servers UCS C220 M3 for CallManager 8.6 with High Availability.
When we turn on the server during the boot and when it tells us, oppress F8 to enter at the CIMC and set the IP. But it never enters at the CIMC.
Then, we configure our DHCP server and our switch, we connect the three gigabyte ports to our switch to give him an IP to the CIMC, so and then can enter via browser, but neither works.
Note. The dedicated management NIC does not link, the other two ports do make link.
What do you suggest to put an IP to CIMC and start installing our applications?

You may have noticed that there is no DVD rom on the c220. What you need to do is:
Login into the CIMC from your browser
Luanch the KVM
Insert the VMware DVD in your machines drive
On the KVM pop up there should be a tab to mount the drive, after mounting it click on Macros and choose ctrl_alt+delete to restart.
After the VMware OS installs press F2 to enter IP.
Browse to the VMware ip to download the Vsphere client
Open the Vsphere client, enter the ip of the vmware and the username will be root and no password if you did not set one.
You can now upload OVA templates or manually create virtua machine from this enviroment.

Some more developments ... the issue appears to be browser-specific. I can't see the download controls at the moment in either IE 8 (I'll get your message) or Safari for Windows 5.0.5 (I'll just get the blank box). But I can see the download controls in Firefox 4 and Chrome (whatever version I have of that).
So it might be worth installing Firefox and seeing if you can get the downloads via that:
