Problems with the Lenovo Vibe x S960

I had bought Lenovo vibe x Almost 1 month ago and I am Experiencing lot of problems with this phone.
Although having a 1.5Ghz processor it lags in many apps and games like asphalt 8, fast n furious, robocop etc.
experienced lot of problems especially with the battery and earphones.
The earphones button doesnt work to pause/play music.
It says "try again when you're online"
Why do i have to be online to Play/Pause music.
Btw my earphone had also screwed up.
After using it for a while the right side had stopped working.
Once i had charged it to 100% and then i removed charger and locked screen and then it stopped working.
Didnt switch on again.
Sent for repair and they tell me its working.
After receiving from service it stopped working again.
When connected to wifi or data usage, it restarts automatically sometimes.
Cannot boost wifi usage well, slows down wifi speed if others are using the wifi on their phones. My phones wifi slows, but others' phones still work.(embarrassing).
Takes long time to turn on data and get connected to cellular networks.
Dont feel like buying any lenovo product in future.
Also it was very difficult to find support for lenovo phones.
Take my advice DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE.

After update android KitKat, my device having a lot of problem like:
Bluetooth software missing, Wi-Fi connection problem, Screen always hang.
That, I had reset to factory setting but Android KitKat still no don't change. After reset, my device show Your Device on metamode. Then it come missing some ROM file and corrupted.

yesterday i ran Kaspersky virus scan tool and it detect file named "tvtfilter.sys" as suspicious file and thefore delet it.
today when i was restart my laptop, i got error message on startup that say:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! "C:\Program Files\Lenovo\Rescue and Recovery\rrservice.exe" abnormal program termination.
after some google search i've understand that "tvtfilter.sys" was critical file of "Rescue And Recovery" system.
so, any one with "Rescue And Recovery" running on his laptop can upload for me this file?
it's located in "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DIRVERS\" and it's name is "tvtfilter.sys"

Just a thought: give a try to un-intsall the Rescue and Recovery from the Control Panel first before re-installing it.

This isn't an issue. Notice the screen prior to the one that shows usage has an iCloud section and a Manage Storage button. For this button to activate ios needs to download a few kb from icloud. Switching back to this screen forces ios to download those few kb.

I have a problem with the speaker while using viber, Tango and rebtel

I have upgraded my iPhone 4 to 5.1.1 and in no time I started having a problem with the speaker. It simply doesn't work at all with Viber, Tango and Rebtel. It works fine with direct calls but not with calls through these applications. I have contacted Tango and Rebtel in this respect but non could help. Communication Problem with the second battery

Hello,
In Lenovo Solution Center it says that there is communiction problem with the second battery. I already had this problem some months ago, back then it didn't charge the second battery. I got a new one and it worked again. Now it says the same thing "communication problem", but i can charge the battery and I also can't find any other sign of something not working. But still- it seems weird that the program tells me something is wrong. Can somebody help me?

I have had no problems with the synchronisation by cord connection and iTunes between these programmes. However, a few months ago I decided to use Mobile Me. However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation. All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things. I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether. I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone. Do you have any suggestions?

The lower the numbers you use there, the longer the battery *should* last. These batteries degrade faster at higher charge levels, however storing them at too low of levels is also not good for them... I've read that 40% is optimal, but just not realistic if you use your computer.

How to solve a serious problem with the Battary of my T500 laptop ?

My personal laptop is Lenovo THINKPAD T500 2055, and its main specifications are as follows:
- 39T6651 SBB 9 CELL LI-ION BATTERY
- Intel Core 2 Duo processor T9400 (2.53GHz 1066MHz 6MBL2)
- 8 GB DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module 4 GB (2 x 4 GB) 1066MHz DDR31066/PC38500 DDR3 SDRAM SoDIMM Kingston.
- 2 GB Intel Turbo Memory hard drive cache.
- ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256MB.
- 160 GB Hard Disk Drive, 7200rpm.
- Windows 7 Ultimate with the latest Service Pack (x64).
My problem precisely and concisely is the Battary. I have been using my laptop with the same battary since 01.01.2009 (Almost 3.5 Years), and the battary has been working quite OK.
Most of the time my laptop is plugged in and working with the electricity. However, A very few times I used the laptop while it is running on battery, Nevertheless, I have the habit to empty the batter once in a while i.e. Every 3 weeks, I unplug the charger and keep using the laptop till I see the warning orange sign (5%), then, I plug it in again.
Thankfully, I never had any problems with the battary nor the laptop, and when I charge the laptop usually it shows full sign (100%).
Three days ago, All of a sudden my laptop starts flashing the orange battary sign constantly while charge indicates 100%. When I try running on the battery by unplugging the AC adapter, the laptop loses power immediately and shuts down right away.
What do you think should I do? Could you please provide me any useful tips to resolve this problem?

Problems with the windows update site in 32-bit Vista Business

Hi Everyone,
I am experiencing problems with the windows update site. As far as I know it shold make a link to the Windows Update module on-board and show the available updates after scanning. However, I get to the page that says "Checking if your computer has the latest version of Windows updating software for use with this website" and the next page I get is "The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view". The error number is 0x80070002. I go to the knowledge base and delete the content of the Data Store folder as advised, but to no use at all. Active X controls are enabled Java is working fine. I've cleaned the register and everything, did a complete scan with Onecare as advised by Microsoft, which did not find anything but again the same error message. I am using KIS 2009 and I am sure I have no viruses or any other malware. I even tried to go to the update site with the KIS switched off but to no avail too. On the other hand I don't have problems with the automtic updates and when I run a manual update from the Update module everything is OK. Do you have any suggestion as to what might be the issue with the website updates?
P.S. I am using 32-bit Windows Vista Business on a Lenovo W500.

Problems with the (WINDOWS 8 pro -64 BIT) IN THINKPAD L520 - 5016 RL2

I have some problems with the (WINDOWS 8 pro -64 BIT) is not working properly IN THINKPAD L520 - 5016 RL2.
1. Message appears telling me that the drivers of the display has been restored crash.
2. The mouse pointer moves very slowly sometimes, and sometimes does not move for a while.
3. Device software such as lenovo-airbag protection , lenovo-internet connection and lenovo web connection........ its is not compatible with the system, and do not work.

I have a few questions for clarification I would like to ask about your first two issues:
1) Can you copy the contents of this message and respond back with them. Any error codes or direct quotation from the system can really help in diagnosing a problem.
2) Does this only apply to the TrackPad, or does this behavior also occur with an external mouse? It may help to download the latest mouse drivers for your system, which can be found here.
As for your last issue with the Lenovo service not being compatible with the system: Unfortunately, software for these applications has not been released for Windows 8. Windows has its own network settings that you can use to connect to the Internet and networks, so that is still possible, though you may not enjoy it as much as Lenovo's program.

Problems with a Lenovo X41 and a docking station

I have problems with a Lenovo X41 and the docking station.
Sometimes, when the laptop is undocked and used in other location, when I try to dock it again, some devices, such as mouse or keyboeard attached to the docking station, don't work.

Problems with the NVS 5200m Discrete Graphics on T430s

Hey all,
I just received my T430s in the mail this last weekend, and I've been having some trouble with the Blue Screen of Death. It has happened twice so far, and both times the graphics card is unrecognized after the reboot. The first time it happened, I tried to do a system restore, but that didn't do anything. I reinstalled the operating system back to factory settings using the recovery partitiion, and that did the trick.
The Blue Screen of Death just happened again, and the exact same problem cropped up again. After rebooting, the system no longer recognizes that it has a discrete graphics card. When I try to start up the Nvidia control panel, it tells me that it can't detect a discrete graphics card in the system.
I did a quick search of the forum, and I can't find any thread with a similar problem. I found this in Lenovo's support area, but it's not relevant to my hardware <http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/diagnose-and-fix/detail.page?DocID=HT052544>
On the NVIDIA website, I can only find "Beta" drivers for the NVS 5200M <http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-304.79-beta-driver.html>. After downloading the driver and attempting to install, the system gives me the same error, that it can't find any compatible graphics hardware.
Here is my hardware configuration:
Thinkpad T430s
i5 3320M 2.60GHz
NViDIA NVS 5200m
4 GB RAM (stock)
360 GB HDD (stock)

It is set to Optimus. I don't think there is a discrete only.
I called the Lenovo support center and found out there was a new graphics driver. Haven't had a problem with the blue screen of death since. Looks like that was the problem.
Once again, if it recurs, I will be sure to post here.

Problems with the keypad

Hi there,
I'm using a Lenovo G580 laptop under windows 8 which was purchased 4 months ago.
About one month before I'm starting to have problems with the keypad in my laptop. Some keys
are not working. Especially start key and the volume control hot keys,not just that the arrow keys
itself are not working. At certain times the some keys just randomly types on it's own messing up
the whole work.Any ways to resolve this problem.

Welcome to the Forums.
It seems like your issue is a defective keyboard. Try to boot into Safe Mode and check if you still get the same problem (this will isolate if there's a 3rd party app. that's causing the issue). If the problem is the same, I recommend you contact lenovo on how to go about replacing the keyboard.

Recurring screen problems with the x220

Hi,
Does the x220 have a known problem with the IPS screens ...

Thought it was a one off problem, send it back and got a replacement in December, fine.

It's the same area too. My warranty is live until 2015, but I can't take a week off every few months when it dies again.
My opinion of Lenovo has changed somewhat, I thought the computers were supposed to be built like tanks but I guess they're not as reliable as I'd heard.
I'm getting in contact with support tomorrow, I guess I'm just venting here. *sigh*.

Y 70-70 screen : problems with the black and white colors

Hi all, I just bought a Lenovo Y70-70 and already encountered several problems with the screen :- I had to change the notebook twice because of clearer zones on the black and because of dead pixels- The model I have now still presents irregularities in the black : if the screen is black, I can still see a few clearer zones on it, especially (but not exclusively) on the edges- concerning the white, I am a bit disappointed too : this color present zones that are sometimes ok, sometimes more yellow. Even if it is subtle, I nevertheless particularily see this effect when reading or typing, due to an optical effect that amplifies the phenomenom when text is displayed which tires my eyes. I also see it on colors like beige or grey. As I use this computer to play but also to work, it is uncomfortable. What I would like to know is if these problems are inherent to the screen, or if it is a defect. What should I do ? Did other people encounter the same problems ? I didn't find any setting to improve it. Installation of Mavericks is the culprit here. Lightroom versions 4.4 and earlier are not fully compatible with OS 10.9.x. There will be no more updates to Lightroom version 4.x so the only fix is to upgrade Lightroom to 5.0 or later or reinstall an older OS on Mac.
