Problems with transfer of archives to calender?

Hi,
Yesterday I tried to order a photo-calendar for next year. It did not succeed - issuing an error at the end of the transfer (I guess it must be there - trouble is that I have no way of knowing).
"An error occurred during transfer of one of your archives. Check network-settings, and click 'Try again' to send the archive again"
I have of course checked network-settings galore and nothing is wrong there. I can print (network-printer), send & receive e-mails, surf, transfer files through FTP and so on and so forth...
I figured that it could be massive load of the servers, but according to the Photo Services status everything seems A-OK. I tried transferring again multiple times yesterday, again this morning, afternoon and evening. Same error - and I am starting to crack...
Trouble is, that I have no (for me known) way to troubleshoot what is going wrong - and in the meantime I am a hostage to iPhoto and all its doing.
Don't get me wrong - I like iPhoto. I have ordered books and calendars before - the previous calendars as soon as on December 6th (order received on the 10th - great!) - with no problems...and now suddenly this??
I have tried all the suggestions from this page: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2516
...to no avail - I have sent an e-mail to Photo Services - awaiting their answer - maybe some of you have a suggestion or two?
Regards

Additional info - after the calendar has compiled the transfer goes from 0-23 MB (the end-result) within seconds - even though I can see that the transfer is still ongoing due to the traffic on the switch. After some minutes (upload of 768 K (xDSL)) the error is showing and traffic on switch stopping.
One of the suggestions from the support-page is saving the calendar as PDF. This works flawlessly and according to size (22.7 MB) indicates to me, that the actual transfer is something very much alike...

  • Problems with JApplet, jar-Archive, packages and IE5

    Hello!
I have a problem with a JApplet and Internet Explorer 5. I made a jar archive of my classes. The classes are
members of a package. The jar archive also contains images.
    The structure of the archive:
    com/mycomp/myapp/DemoApplication.class
    com/mycomp/myapp/DemoApplet.class
    <more classes>
    com/mycomp/myapp/images/hp_logo.gif
    com/mycomp/myapp/images/test.gif
    <more images>
The archive is stored locally in a directory which contains also the html file.
I used the sdk 1.3.1 to compile the classes.
My problem: when I start the html file on NT with IE5, I get the error message below:
I try to create a label containing an icon with:
topLabel.setIcon(new javax.swing.ImageIcon(getClass().getResource("images"+fs+"hp_logo.gif")));It works on Sun with Netscape 4.67 and SDK 1.3.1 installed.
Should I move the images directory inside the jar archive to another place or is the html code not correct?

  • Problem with transfer photos from iCloud to Aperture

Hi, I have a problem with APERTURE. I Can't transfer a photos from iCloud to project of Aperture. I have Macboook Pro 15, model 8,2 with MAC OS X Maverick and Aperture 3.5.1. Who can help me ? Many thanx.

If I want to work them I have to transport these photos to some folder or project in aperture but unurtenetly It doesn't work.
Now I see. You should be able to drag any image from your photo stream to a project (not to a folder).
    For example:
Or set your Aperture preferences to import automatically:
That will create monthly projects -
    Does that not work?

  • Problem with transfer MP4 and 3gp (N958GB)

    Okej here is my problem.
(Sorry if the spelling is bad... from Sweden)
*I have connected my N95 to my Pc with the USB.
*I go to "My Videos" on the N95, and drag and drop either a MP4 or a 3gp file.
*The file is copied to the phone without any problems, but on the phone there is a window that says "storage or transfer through USB is in progress..". And it keeps on loading and loading...
It dosn't matter how long i wait, it doesn't stop. And when i pull out the USB the phone says "Some data may have been lost, don't remove USB untill transfer is complete"
The problem is that it never get completed...
When i look in "My videos" on the phone there is no file, but if I look at the phone on my PC the file is there...
    Can someone please help me!
    Thanks /Fredrik

You are connecting in Data Transfer mode. This allows the PC to see the 8GB as an external drive. Unfortunately, it also means you have to manually tell windows to disconnect by clicking on the "Safely remove hardware" icon (a grey rectangle with a left-pointing green arrow) in the bottom right icon tray in windows.
This will shut down the connection and the phone will say it's OK to disconnect the USB.
In fact, if the file copy has completed, it's unlikely that removing the cable without disconnecting will cause any problems but I always do it anyway.

  • Problem with transfer and ordering of tracks on new Zen Nano P

I recieved my Gb Zen Nano Plus player on wednesday and transferred quite a few tracks to the player that night. They transferred fine, I was able to customize the playing order and all the songs play fine.
But since then, I have been unable to transfer tracks to the player or change the order of the tracks. The player is recognised when I plug it in, but I am just unable to do anything with the tracks!! I have plenty of memory left and it isn't anything to do with the USB.
I really need to know what's going on and how to fix it :-(
    Help!!!

What error message do you get when you try to transfer the extra files?
Are all files in the root folder? If so see the FAQ.

  • Problem with sending and archiving pdf document

    Hello experts,
I have created the following SAP PI scenario:
First a pdf document will come from our partner to a specified directory. The ftp adapter sender get this file and also set the filename in the adapter specific messages. Then a udf mapping starts to read the filename of the pdf document, because the filename includes a ordernr for a sales order in sap. So the filename will be mapped to an easy rfc structur, afterwards the RFC Adapter will be called. After this I have to archive and delete the pdf document in the origin directory. But this will not work. I tried following steps.
After calling the rfc adapter another receiver determination will be called. That means a ftp adapter receiver is called that gets the filename and copies the pdf document to another directory. This works, but if I try to open the pdf document then it does not work, because the pdf document includes the structure of the rfc function module, filled with the filename param.
Furthermore the archive function of the ftp adapter sender does not work. Everything is correct set, but the pdf document will not copy to the right folder. Before I create a Java adapter module for the file adapter sender, that copies and deletes the file in the origin folder,  another solution would be better.
    Kind regards,
    Erkan

Ideally the processing mode Archive should work for your case.
This works, but if I try to open the pdf document then it does not work, because the pdf document includes the structure of the rfc function module, filled with the filename param.
Why are you using the RFC structure  for the other receiver in receiver determination. Use some dummy name in the Interface name and interface mapping and still the scenario will work. In the receiver channel, use the File type as binary.

  • Problem with Transfer of Licenses

Over the years I had purchased different Adobe products under different email addresses so a couple months ago I tried to consolidate them under one primary email account.  I called Adobe customer service and the young lady told me that I needed to complete a transfer of license for each program as transferee and then again as recipient with the new email address.
I just checked and the programs are still not showing up under my account and I can no longer access my old account.  They gave me a case number 211794299 but who do I need to talk to or email to get this rectified?  Also how long does this process usually take?
    Thanks and Happy New Year

You better contact Adobe customer support it not the best however if you can not access your old account and your products are not in your current account you need their help..... Good luck....

  • BIG problems with setup after Archive and Install

It all began when I was preparing a G3 iMac to be used - as a trial - by a Windows user. I wanted to preserve the existing accounts so created a new user. I then forgot the new user password (didn't write it down, did I) and had already set it up to go straight to the login screen on boot. Do you think I could then remember the user name of the original account(this time I knew the password)? I researched and was able to set up a new password for the System Administrator via the Install Disk, and hoped that it would show me the existing user names - it didn't. Despite my best efforts, I was still unable to login. By this stage, the gremlins were really getting to me.
I then decided to do an Archive and Clean Install - after I had repaired disk permissions, disk etc. So far so good, as everything seemed to go OK and the Mac restarted and presented the Welcome screen and I proceeded with setup, like it was a brand new Mac.
After going through the first couple of screens where Apple collects information and moving onto where you can start setting up accounts, the thing just hangs with a blank screen with a grey horizontal line about two-thirds down prior to actually reaching this account setup stage. In spite of every other attempt, I just cannot past this stage. Truly weird.
Next, I upgraded my Firewire Disk from OS9 to OSX using the same installation disks and everything went swimmingly, including the creation of accounts. I have been able to boot normally from this Firewire disk and can see everything on my internal HD. I tried reinstalling the OS again - it still hangs in exactly the same set up stage - "siiigh". I'm now getting seriously ****** off with this process and have more or less decided to clone all the appropriate files from the internal HD, erase the drive and start all over again!
I really don't want to go to this level, and besides, I'm really curious to find out what on earth has gone wrong, and hope forum members can help me out here. I appreciate all responses..... Thanks

Seems the HD is bad, but whether it could be fixed by Erasing and using the Zero Data Option, once... only time will tell.
IDE HDs don't last all that long... 4 year old ones make me hold my breath!
Thanks for your reply. If the internal drive is bad, why didn't it show up when I ran Disk Utility repair? I don't think I'll try to resurrect it now if that is a possibility.
I had thought of swapping the drive in the Firewire case into the iMac and vice-versa. I have to say that this G3 has now been replaced by a newish MacBook - chiefly to preserve using Tiger (with Classic support) for all the legacy items that my partner was using on the G3. My partner's 91 y.o. mother will be visiting from Perth (the other side of Oz from us) and loves using the Mac, so I now propose the following:
    1. Retrieve critical files (if any left) from the G3 internal HD;
    2. Swap the drive as above - mind you, I've never changed an HD in an iMac, but after 20 years of mucking around with all sorts of Macs, fancy my chances here - especially as I come from the READ THE MANUAL school of support.
    3. Buy a new IDE HD for the Firewire case, load it up with troubleshooting apps. which would then give me a tool for looking after our other Macs.
    Any other suggestions?

  • Problems with transfer of movies from Mac to external drive.

I want to transfer movies from my iTunes library to an external drive, in order to back them up for future use. I keep getting the message:
"The operation can’t be completed because the item “Cabaret.m4v” is in use."
How do I solve this problem?
    Kerneels

    Have you restarted your computer?
By the way, "transferring" is not the same as "backing up".  Backing up means more than one copy on separate drives.

  • I have a problem with the Rar archive.

Archive is either in unknown format or damaged. How can I restore it?

Recovery Toolbox RAR differs from other software in is that it is extremely easy to use. The interface of the RAR recover tool is implemented as a step-by-step wizard. You have to perform
only one operation in each step of this wizard. To recover information from a
corrupted RAR archive, the file recovery .rar tool it is enough to make literally several mouse clicks altogether. Thus, any computer users can use software, including those who have just started working with
    a PC.

  • Problems with transfer

i really don't know much about an ipod. i use limewire, so how do i transfer to itunes so i can transfer to ipod?

Limewire is P2P software normally used for sharing software... sharing of licensed apps, licensed music, copyrighted material like movies and songs and games etc is illegal.
There are some people who use Limewire to share non-licensed stuff. For example if you coded your own program, and want to distribute it to other people, you could use Limewire to distribute it. That is just an example.
iTunes is a player/viewer for music and other mediafiles primarily designed as a front end for the Apple iTunes Music store, used to purchase, legally downloaded music and or videos.
When you pay some fee to Limewire you are not paying for license to download copyrighted material.
There is a massive difference between Limewire and iTunes.

    Please help me!!!!

    Hi,
After several tries my redo logs are applied now. I think in my case it had to do with the tnsnames.ora. At this moment I have both database in both tnsnames.ora files using the SID and not the SERVICE_NAME.
Now I want to use DGMGRL. Adding a configuration and a stand-by database is working fine, but when I try to enable the configuration DGMGRL gives no feedback and it looks like it is hanging. The log, although says that it succeeded.
In another session 'show configuration' results in the following, confirming that the enable succeeded.
    DGMGRL> show configuration
    Configuration
    Name: avhtest
    Enabled: YES
    Protection Mode: MaxPerformance
    Fast-Start Failover: DISABLED
    Databases:
    avhtest - Primary database
    avhtestls53 - Physical standby database
    Current status for "avhtest":
Warning: ORA-16610: command 'ENABLE CONFIGURATION' in progress
It there anybody that experienced the same problem and/or knows the solution to this?
    With kind regards,
    Martin Schaap
