Problems with Using Bluetooth speakers (a2dp) with multiple Windows users

I have the bluetooth Loudspeakers (Yamaha NX B02)
they are easily configurable in Toshiba's bluetooth stack everything works fine
as long as I use my profile
If only any other person would like to log on any other profile (Windows XP Home edition)
the Bluetooth stack won't pair with the Yamaha Speaker
I disconnect the speakers on my profile
Speakers are in pairing mode - they are found on the list of devices to connect
but they just won't connect,
Once they were paired On "user1" profile on "Laptop1"
the "user2" or any other on the same "laptop1" aparently has to buy a new set of speakers
coz thouse standing right next to him are only to be used when logged as "user1"
First of all I don't really see why the bluetooth stack holds different device list and different configuration for each user?
Nonetheless - is there a way to somehow IMPORT device connection settings from my profile to any other
Or maybe there is anything else I should do to be able to pair with my speakers no matter as whom I'm logged at the moment
Thank You in advance
And YES - the Yamaha set sounds great - I'm really pleased

Hi
Im not 100% sure if I have understood exactly you Bluetooth <-->speaker issue.
According to your message, you cannot pair the BT speakers for the second time using profile2 if the speakers are already paired using the profile1. Am I right?
Well, in my opinion there is nothing wrong because the speakers were already connected to the notebook using the BT. From my knowledge you cannot connect any BT device if its already connected using another profile.
I think you should always disconnect the BT speakers using the profile1 if you dont use it. Then another user using profile2 would be able to connect the BT speakers.
Best regards

    Hi All,
I am using AdvancedDataGrid as tree for displaying my data. Within this ADG tree I have to enable drag n drop i.e. user can select one node and will able to drop that on another node within tree.
Overwritten dragDrop handler event for ADG.

8-doing a factory reset, then repeating steps 1 through 6
Do you mean a restore to factory settings?. If so did you set up as new or restore from back up afterwards?

    - Make sure the mic hole is clear and unobstructed. It is the little hole on the back by the camera lens(if has back camera). For the 16 GB one without the back camera the mic hole is on the top edge near the center.
    - Open the Voice Memos app and see if you see movement on the VU meter needle or changes in the moving waveform graph with changes in noise level trying to be recorded.
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:

  • ITunes setup on a NAS with multiple windows users - how?

iTunes setup on a NAS with multiple windows users?
I am very confused on what is the best way to handle this setup for my friends family.  Any help would be appreciated.  Sorry in advance as I know this is a long winded post - I have a feeling this will help others faced with the same issues or questions.
    CURRENT SETUP
I have three new Windows 7 machines networked (two desktops and one laptop) that have four users on each - as busy family with children who need the computers for homework, projects, games, etc...  The goal of this setup is that any user can log onto any computer and have there documents available to them no matter computer was free to use.  I set this up using the library function in Windows 7 and seems to work pretty well.
I have put a Buffalo Linkstation NAS on the system as well.  This was going to serve two purposes 1)  run some backup software to protect the computers and 2) consolidate the iTunes content in one place for all users.  There is also an iPad in the home that I should would be better served by accessing the content on the NAS without requiring any of the computers being on.  Dave is thinking about getting some other playback devices like Apple TV so thought a NAS would be a good way to go.
CURRENT ITUNES SETUP - I have created a new iTunes library on the NAS by holding the SHIFT button down while starting iTunes and pointed to that folder on a Share on the NAS.  There was no music on the system at the time as we are planning to copy this over from an OLD machine that is now not being used.  I have also authorized all the computers and turned on the home sharing feature (although I am not sure what good that does).
This “shift” button trick seesm to also point the default directory there without point to it in the advanced setup tab of iTunes.
I then synced one of the iPods with purchased content on it and synced that to the library after asking me to do so before an update.  All the content showed up in the library and was playable - awesome.
I then logged into each user on each machine (yikes) and installed iTunes  and used the “shift” trick to connect each users iTunes to the database on the NAS.  Everything seems to work - but I have not tested it thoroughly.
    SUMMARY
3 new Windwos 7 networked machines
4 identical users on each machine
    1 TB Buffalo linkstation
iTunes setup with the folder on a SHARE
all user’s itunes connected to the iTunes folder on the NAS
all computers authorized with home sharing turned on.
one iTunes user account signed in on each machine
multiple iPods and one iPad in the system
    QUESTIONS/CONCERNS
Is there a better way to do this on a NAS?
Would home sharing be better in some way?
I understand the NAS should show up under the shared section in iTunes - I assume that would mean that would mean each user has an iTunes library on their documents?
I have read that there may be corruption issues if users on the different machines try to access iTunes at the same time.
Will there be any issues syncing that various iPods with?
Ugh - sorry for the long post and all the questions.  I am just trying to find the best way to do this.  I wish Apple would put out a best practices document for setups like this.  Thanks in advance.

This is a user to user support forum. Your fellow users can offer solutions or workarounds based on their experience with the application. If you think it should work differently drop a line to iTunes Feedback.
For reasons unknown Apple haven't chosen to allow iTunes to be suspended in one profile and active in another. My recollection is that this applies even if each profile has a different library, although it is some time since I've committed a personal test.
I'm not sure why my suggestion make less sense that your current approach?. As I understand it currently everybody is either signed into their own account when they can do something other than work with iTunes, or they sign into the special iTunes account where they can't access any of their other stuff. You don't have to disable fast user switching. Follow exactly the same steps, but make sure everyone closes iTunes before turning the computer over to another user. Disabling fast user switching helps to enforce that action.

When streaming a movie from Flixster and using Bluetooth speakers, my wi-fi connection keeps dropping, like every 2 seconds! Anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify this issue?  In fact, I don't even have to be streaming the movie. When I was in settings and went to connect to the speakers, I could see the wireless connection dropping, then restarting!

  • New iPad mini with Retina won't pair with new Bluetooth speakers

Just got a brand new 16gb iPad mini with Retina display and also TDK (Life on Record) Bluetooth speakers. The iPad mini will not display the speakers on the optional bluetooth menu when I attempt to pair. I have tried all combinations of rebooting and making sure there are no other bluetooth signals near. Please help.
PS - My iPhone pairs perfectly so nothing wrong with the speakers. And yes I unpaired and tried turning off the phone when attempting to pair the iPad

This worked on my TDK speaker, first time you sync a new device, hold down Bluetooth button on device until it beeps then turn on iPad bluetooth and it will detect and then connect. I hooked two new minis to it by this procedure., clearing the device each time by holding down the Bluetooth button until beep.  Once connected this way one time the speaker remains in my iPhone and the two iPads and connects with no problems now.  I guess some devices hold one connection in the memory but once your Idevice has the info it can connect.

  • I have synced my macbook pro with new bluetooth speakers and can successfully play internet radio music from my macbook through bluetooth.  However I cannot get my iTunes library playing through the bluetooth speakers.  Can anyone help?

my macbook pro is successfully linked to bluetooth speakers and I can stream music from the macbook through the speakers.  Except for iTunes.  iTunes will not allow me to select the bluetooth, only 'computer speakers' or 'apple tv'.  I can stream my iTunes library from my iPhone and iPad through these speakers, but not from the MacBook's iTunes.  Is there an easy solution?

So I have been searching the iStore for Airplay and I find lots of information about what it is, but nothing about how much it costs, how/where to buy it, etc.?
Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver.

  • Problem in using nested dependent items with jheadstart 1013

    Dear JHeadstart Team,
Suppose we We have 3 following tables ( z is child of y and y is child of x) and we have a view object which have joined all 3 tables together. we have
mad a page on this view.
    x (
    code1 PK
    ,Name
    y ( code2 PK
    ,x_code
    Z ( code3 PK
    , y_code2
MyViewObject contains the following fields : z.code3,z.y_code2,y.x_code,y.code2,x.name,x.code
I want that when a user enter a valid value in y_code2 field it automatically retrieve related information of that code and show it. we set "depends on
item property" of x_code ,code2,name ,code1 to y_code2 but when user enters value for y_code2, only code2,x_code get correct value and
code1,name remain null. I also set "depends on item property" of code1,name to code2. I hoped that with changing the value of code2, these field got
correct value but again these fields remained null.
To simplify the situation I removed the x table from view object and add a transient field to view object (which use a database function with this format
getXName (y.x_code) ) but surprisingly enough It did not work either.
These seemed to me something like bug. Am I right? Is there any workaround for these problems ?
What is the best solution for implementing this functionality ?
    Best Regards,
    Navid
P.S. We are using JHeadsart 10.1.3 Service update 1 and jdeveloper 10.1.3

    Dear Steven,
Thank you very much for your paying attention to this matter. I checked the adf bc tester and I realized that when I filled y_code2 only the fields in the y table were automatically updated. To simplify the problem I made a simple project based on the HR schema objects using JHeadstart . I add country and location to department view object and checked it with adf bc tester. I realized that when I enter value in locationId in the department view only location fields are automatically updated and country fields remain null. I also used your techniques in the "What to do when ADF BC Tester does not update the lookup item" section but it does not work either. I think that maybe the normal behavior of ADF is to just fetch only the first level lookup information and ADF does not care to fetch information of lookup of lookup ( I mean nested lookup).
I understand now that my problem is not a JHeadstart related issue however any help, reference or link to implement such functionality would be highly appreciated.
    Best Regards,
    Navid

what printer using bluetooth technology will work with an android tablet

The iPad mini supports Bluetooth keyboards in the same way that all other iPad models have.  There are not many keyboards available yet that are specially designed for the mini yet, but I am sure the will be soon.  In the mean time you can use any Bluetooth keyboard that is designed for the bigger iPad, Mac, or whatever.

  • Success using Bluetooth headphones A2DP

Has anyone had success using bluetooth headphones with the Mac OS X 10.5+?
I have a pair of JBL Reference 610 bluetooth headphones and would like to use them with my MacBook Pro. I have no problem pairing them and can listen to sounds, music, etc. for a short period of time. Within 1min - 5min of listening the sound will cut completely and then come back in after a few seconds. When it comes back in, the music sounds like it is speeding to catch up. It might continue this way for a few seconds, come back, and drop out again. This continues to degrade until no sound comes through at all. The headphones remain connected during this time and I must disconnect them in order to listen to music through another way.
Please post here if you have gotten bluetooth audio to work or if you are having problems.
I opened a ticket with Apple support and this incident has been reported to engineering.
