Problems with Verizon Cloud Media Servers?

I keep getting this error when accessing my Verizon Cloud to see my photos/videos. "Media Servers are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Anyone else having problems?

I am having the same issue with Verizon Cloud. Constantly pops up randomly throughout the day with "Something went wrong....Please wait a moment and try again. If the problem persists, try logging in." All you can do is hit the back button over and over or hit the "Retry" at the bottom of the message, but it just pops back up with the same message over and over. Cloud does not sync. Have been trying to get it to sync but multiple errors. Cant uninstall Cloud. Problem is worse at night when it is normally set to sync. No one here seems to have the fix. Verizon, what the heck is the issue. I'm sure there are more people with this issue then the ones in this post.

  • Problems with Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Tour BlackBerry OS 4.7.1.61 update:

Problems with Verizon Wireless BlackBerry Tour BlackBerry OS 4.7.1.61 update - I was anxious to download the update to see if it addressed the sticky trackball problems and the low volume issue when using a blue tooth device. However, in the process of updating my BB Tour yesterday, the install stopped on the 8th out 12 updates. After a couple of 'retrys', the BB error message on the desktop came up which instructed me to: i) disconnect the device, ii) restart the computer. iii) restart the loading process and, iV) restore my data by loading the loader back-up file using Restore. Unfortunately my Tour was left without any software and the Desktop manager couldn't recognize it. The error message on the Tour was 503. Called Verizon Wireless tech and bottom line, the only fix is a new Tour, which they're sending me. Anyone else having issues with the update? Also, does it address the trackball and blue tooth issues?

I had issues with the trackball and had to have my Tour replaced.  I was told this model does not have a removable trackball so the entire phone has to be replaced.  My current one is working OK but does stick a bit.  Seems to get worse over time.  My wife's tour is newer and so far she is not experiencing the problem.  Have not experienced a problem with the Blue Tooth volume.
I have another issue with this upgrade that I am wondering if anyone else has seen.  My wife has the Tour as well.  She was prompted to do the upgrade and went through it.  It appeared to work except it blew out her Contact Alerts.  When we put them back in we can no longer get the sound to play when she receives an SMS message in her holster. Vibration works but doesn't do any good when it is in her purse.  Phones calls, calendar alerts, alarms all work in holster.  As soon as we delete the contact alert the default SMS alert will play in the holster.  If she takes her phone out of the holster the Contact alert will play.  My phone is still running 4.7.1.40 and this function works fine.  I am thinking about trying to put her's back to my version if possible but not sure the best way to go about this

  • Serious Problem with Verizon

I have a huge problem with Verizon.  I took my adult son to a local Verizon store and bought him a phone. When the phone was activated and an account set up, the clerk used MY personal information with my SON'S address for the service!  My son defaulted on the payments and because the bills were being mailed to my son's home, I was unaware of the unpaid bills... Until I received a notice from a collection agency at MY home address.  I immediately paid the outrageous bill and have been attempting ever since to delete the damage done to my credit!  This has been a total nightmare as I am trying to apply for a mortgage.
I have called and called Verizon but continue to be shuffled around.  I just need someone to hear me out and help me clear up this mess!! It can easily be proven that I've never lived at the address the bills/emails were being sent.  I know the negative reporting to my credit can be deleted.  It is the goodwill thing to do.  I have faith that Verizon has employees that can help resolve my situation!  PLEASE HELP.
    Michael K.

Who was responsible for the bill?  Who's account was it on?  Was the son made an account manager?  Why did the son not inform you of the issues as it was his responsibility?  If you allowed him on your account, then he is your responsibility.  Just like co-signing for a car for someone...they come after you as well.

  • Newbie here: Fire Wall problem with Creative Cloud?

    Hi All:
Thanks in advance for your help!
I recently paid for the Creative Cloud. My problem is that I cannot log into the program from the Wi-Fi network at a friend's house. I was using the same computer I signed up with and paid for the Creative Cloud. But obviously the ISP was not the same.
I did not have any problems with other cloud based programs (SalesForce, Picassa, Flickr). My friend tried different settings with her Firewall but nothing worked
So, is this a firewall issue  on the server side of Creative Cloud? Are there other settings I should check?
    Thanks!
    Judith

    HI Judith,
Is the behavior occuring from all programs? Are you getting some kind of error message?
    Thanks,
    -Dave

  • Verizon Cloud media storage was removed

This message appears on my Razr M phone:
As you requested, access to your Verizon Cloud media storage was removed.  Please contact Customer Service if you would like to restore your previously backed up photos, videos, music, documents, messages and call logs.
Don't remember what I might have done to remove my access to media storage.  Contacting "Customer Service" is not likely to be of any help because I really don't want to spend a looooong time working through all the menus.
Anyone got an idea regarding what I might have done to create this situation and, more importantly,  how to reverse it?

        PaulWood,
You should definitely have access to your Cloud storage! Did you recently remove Verizon Cloud from your features? Did you happen to have the app on the phone and remove the app recently?

  • The problem with Verizon

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that the problem with Verizon is their IT strategy and their lack of communications.  None of their systems can talk to each other.
That's why when a FIOS tech comes to your house and doesn't know what your order was supposed to be, its because the system that generated the order originally, isnt the same system that the tech looks at before he/she goes to your house.
On top of that, the customer was lied to from the very beginning by a door-to-door outsourced salesperson that doesn't know what specials the company is having and just makes anything up to make the sale.  They're paid their commission, then they end up getting fired or quit in less than a month or so. The poor Verizon FIOS tech that visits the customer ends up bearing the brunt of the customer's frustration because the customer was told that they wouldn't have to pay for any of the extras that they want and that they can cancel at any time when the FiOs tech knows that they can't make that deal.
To add to this problem, whenever there is a problem with your order, the tech has to call into a phone number where they are put on hold in the same manner that customers are and made to wait (sometimes hours) for the customer service or dispatch rep to figure out that the order was put in the order.  Then they try to figure out why the tech was at the customer's house for so long...hmmm, I wonder.
Then, when the customer finally gets the service and tries to pay their bill, the bill has numerous excessive charges for which the they weren't aware.  They call the customer service line and get put on hold 5 times and have to re-explain their situation every time a new person picks up.  The customer service rep agrees to remove the charge from the bill.  Two months later when the charge is still appearing on their bill, they have to continue to call again until they get so frustrated that they cancel their service....and the cycle repeats when a new special is offered and the customer agrees to give them a second chance.  I wonder how much this is costing the company???
Why do I know all this?  My boyfriend is a Verizon FiOs. tech.  And I am a Verizon customer.  I've been trying to pay my bill online for 2 months and the website keeps telling me that "They are experiencing a problem and I should try back later." Should a multi-BILLION dollar company take more than a few minutes or hours to correct this problem?   TWO MONTHS!!!???
Seriously, these Verizon IT executives should be embarassed.  They are to blame for not only the technical issues that the technicians experience every day on the job, but also the customer service problems because their ERP system doesn't talk to their CRM or Order management system.   It doesn't take a genius to figure out that they need a web-based, real-time solution to fix this problem.

FlyerQ has it exactly right.  What is sad is that it's not like it is huge cost to upgrade port capacity.  With the cost per meg that they charge for FiOS there is plenty of margin there for them to be good internet citizens.  The reason I'm sure they are against doing so is that would provide less opportunity to extort money from the content providers.
Unfortunately it is not surprising that Verizon is acting in this way considering they are the company that sued to get the legal authority to damage the internet (killing net neutrality).
The one point I'd disagree with FlyerQ on is being infuriated with Netflix.  Verizon is advertising upgrading to 50 or 75Mbps connections.  If their customers all want to stream Netflix at once that should not be a problem.  We're talking about ~3Mbps for an outstanding experience or utilization of about 1/17th of what they advertise.  Making sure they have enough port capacity to handle that is part of what we are paying for.  But they choose to harm their customers in the hope that they can also collect from providers.

  • Hilights Clipping Problem with Premiere CS3 Media Encoder

I've just discovered a pretty serious problem with the way Premiere CS3 processes video to the Media Encoder.
Many of you are familiar with the term "super whites", the ability of modern cameras to capture and record levels above 100 IRE. With HDV and newer technology, recording to 109 IRE is quite common.
I was aware for some time that importing this footage into Premiere results in a hard truncation of whites above 100 IRE. However, I discovered last month that the Fast Color Corrector has a Output Levels adjustment that can rescale all the levels to fit down in the 0-100 IRE range. I verified this using the scopes in Premiere and by observing recovered details in my footage. I was even able to export frames to TIFF files and show the recovered highlights in the exported TIFFs. The difference is substantial and not subtle--it's the difference between a sky completely blown to white and one where you can see the sky is blue with clouds in it.
Last night, I discovered that the Unsharp Mask filter doesn't handle footage above 100 IRE, either. Even if I use Levels to set 0-235 RGB range, somehow, Unsharp Mask is processing the un-level-adjusted signal, regardless of stacking order of the filters.
I rendered two Blu-ray discs, one with Unsharp and the other without. To my astonishment, BOTH discs lacked any detail in the highlights--the whites were clipped at 100 IRE!
Now I turned attention to the Media Encoder. Pausing on a frame where I can see the difference between 100 IRE and 109 IRE and shades in between, I fire up the Media Encoder and note that even in ME's previews screens, the whites are already clipped. There is more highlight detail in the program monitor, whereas it's all gone in the Media Encoder's display.
It is obvious that highlight information, even scaled back to 0-235, is being treated as if it were 0-255 and clipped at 235 before passing to the encoder. This is a real disappointment, because there is another half f-stop of detail up there that I was trying to pull into the useable range of 100 IRE for the Blu-ray disc. Since it is very difficult to shoot footage and limit the peak whites in-camera to no more than 100 IRE, nearly all of us are losing valuable picture information.
Even if you can recover the highlights on the timeline through a Levels filter, it gets thrown away again on the way to the Media Encoder. Short of exporting a few hundred thousand frames as .TGA files and then loading those back in and rendering out to whatever motion CODEC, I am at a loss as to how to get Premiere to leave the whites intact.
I haven't seen this issue discussed in any detail here. Has anyone found a way around it, besides reshooting all your footage of one-time events to sub 100 IRE levels?

I'd rather the camera added that extra lattitide within the appropriate 0 to 100 IRE range.
That's a lot like saying you want 10 gallons of water in an 9-gallon jug.
As it is, it looks like such adjustments will need to be done on a clip by clip basis.
Or, you can do it the "Dan" way in AviSynth. I wrote a script function called SoftLimiter: It applies photoshop-style curves on the Y + U + V channels to bring the maximums within legal range… using a sort-of "soft-knee" approach to reducing extreme highlights and/or oversaturated areas.
It causes a tiny bit of posterization in the highlights, just like all 8-bit per channel color adjustments do… but it is hardly noticeable on a computer screen and even less on TVs.
    SoftLimiter for AviSynth 2.5
Create a folder C:\SoftLimiterCurves\ and place the .amp curves files in that folder.
Place the other files in your AviSynth 2.5 / plugins folder.
The example below assumes DV avi files and requires a DV codec (such as Cecocida DV, MainConcept, Canopus) that can read / write in YUV formats.
    Create a script like this:
    AviSource("dv.avi", pixel_type="YUY2")
    SoftLimiter()
Open the script in VirtualDub, use Video / Fast Recompress, Select Cedocida DV codec. File / Save as .avi
    Before:
    After:
And, Jim… you can place your dv2film() command at the end of this script if that's what you're trying to accomplish.

  • Problems with Creative Cloud storage (again!)

I am having problems when uploading files to Creative Cloud storage. Some of the files go - some don't, and are flagged 'Unable to Sync'. I have had this problem for some time and have stopped using CC sync, but I thought I would give it another go the other day, and still no luck. The files that are reported as being a problem seem fine - no issue with the names, or anything that I can see.
I spent almost an hour on the phone to technical support about this issue about a week ago and the guys I was speaking to (I kept being pushed on to someone else) didn't seem to have any idea. They just kept going through all my security questions and then put me on hold whilst they asked someone more knowledgeable. They would then come back on and pass me to someone else (more security questions) until eventually the last guy I spoke to said he didn't know the answer and an Adobe representative would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Not a very impressive turn around for customer support - even less so since it is now a week later and still no call. Let's face it. I'm not going to get a response from Adobe.
As a test, I tried uploading the same files to DropBox. Not very technical perhaps, but I just reasoned that if there were problems with one system, they should show up on the other. Imagine. They uploaded to DropBox no problem.
So the technical fix is forget Creative Cloud storage and use DropBox. Okay, you have to pay for a reasonable amount of storage, but if you depend on your files for your business, it's worth it.
I'm worried though. I'm a big fan of Adobe, and have been using their products for years but am getting concerned that, should I have any problem with any of their CC products their support will be minimal (if I'm lucky) or non-existant (as seems more likely).
As a little extra comment, I have emptied out my CC Storage files (and the archived files) and yet the CC system still says I have 528MB stored - although there is nothing there. I had this once before and the Adobe technical guy reset the system - but it's back!
HOLD THE FRONT PAGE! I just opened my CC storage in a browser and tried to drag and drop the troublesome files directly. And it worked! So maybe the problem is with the CC app. (I have tried uninstalling and re-installing it numerous times). So dragging and dropping is a fix, but not very practical since you cannot drag and drop folders, so you have to create all the folders in the browser version and then drag the files as required.
    Anyone got any ideas?

Woah - Ok so sometimes it's the simplest answer we overlook -- HOW TO MOVE YOUR FILES FROM COMPUTER TO ADOBE CLOUD -- EASILY
    (for windows users)
    1 - Start menu
    2 - Go to Computer - OS ( C:)  - Users  - "Your Name"
3 - You should see here - the folders you need - Creative Cloud Files - and also - My Docs, My Pics, etc -- The app will not allow this task - windows will
4 - Right click on the source folder - (Pics, docs)
    5 - Select copy
6 - Right click on Creative Cloud Files
    7 - Select Paste
This will transfer all files in that library to the Adobe Cloud folder and allow them to be synced to the cloud
Hopefully this will save some folks the Head - desks it caused me.

  • Am I the only person having problems with Verizon's refurbished Androids?

The best way for me to share my issue, is to submit a copy of a letter I have written to Verizon.
I have been a loyal Verizon customer for many years now.  I have enjoyed good service until my most recent phone purchase approximately 18 months ago.  I purchased an HTC Android, which did not work properly.  It was immediately replaced with a refurbished phone from the manufacturer, which also did not work properly.  That phone was replaced with another refurbished phone form the manufacturer that did not work properly, but after being given NO OPTIONS, I learned that I would have to live with a partially functional phone. For approximately a year I learned to live with the fact that my date/time stamp would disappear, that sometimes my phone ringer would not work, that I would never get an alert sound when a text message arrived.  The worst part of this phone is that periodically it would dump/erase all my text messages.  Since Verizon could not solve the problem and since Verizon blamed the manufacturer, I had no options, had no choices.  Part of being with Verizon and my crappy phone was forced upon me with a 2 year contract.  I would only have to be miserable for one more year.  Then one day my phone erased some very important text messages. At this point, I had already spent hours and hours and hours with your tech support, and I decided I needed to try and force a solution.  While talking with one of your tech people, I learned that the last phone I had been sent was sent to me with Beta software.  The software was so outdated that the phone was not updating itself.  In fact we could not update the phone manually.  So, the tech person put me into yet another HTC.  That HTC did have up to date software, but I was still having problems texting, date disappearing and other glitchy things.  So, then the next tech person put me into a Motorola.  Leary of droids, I asked for an Iphone but was refused.  The tech person told me that I could use my HTC charger for the Motorola, and that he would not be sending me a Motorola charger for the phone.  I understood.
So, I’ve been very patient throughout this.  I figured I just had a few more months to get through this misery, wait for my contract to expire, get the Iphone.  Well, I had not idea that the WORST WAS YET TO COME!  So, the Motorola doesn’t charge.  I tried charging that phone for 3 days, and nothing.  So, back on the phone with your tech support.  By the way, whomever reads this letter, I hope that someday you have to go through the tedious phone trees that I had to, only to get to Tech Level 1 which pre-screens, then you have to explain your story ALL OVER AGAIN to level 2 tech support.  Of course, I now realize that Verizon thinks that I have hours and hours of time, that it is more important for me to burn 2-3 hours of my time to save Verizon 10 minutes of their time.  I now realize just what a low opinion the company has of its “clients.”  I actually can’t refer to myself as a client anymore; I think I am one of Verizon’s chumps.
So, back on the phone, more misery, more trips to the post office.  This tech person could not believe that the new Motorola was not charging, and when I asked her if I could just get an Iphone, she said, “If you are returning a functional phone with the idea that you will get an Iphone, we will charge your for the returned phone.  They will test the phone when it arrives, and if there isn’t anything wrong with it, we will charge you.”  WOW.  So, not only have I not had a phone that works properly, but I have wasted hours of my valuable time on the phone and running to the post office returning phones, but now I am being threatened by your employee who was implying that I am a liar.  BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE!   So, she sends me another Motorola, and this phone wouldn’t take a charge either.  DO YOU THINK SHE SHOULD HAVE SENT ME A MOTOROLA CHARGER INSTEAD OF MAKING ME USE MY HTC CHARGER?!  How much money did you save here, $3 for a charger? So the new phone doesn’t charge, and of course now I am back on the phone tree with your tech support. BUT WAIT, IT GETS WORSE! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THE WORST IS YET TO COME?
So now I’m very angry. At some point, after a company FAILS you over and over, at some point you have to take matters into your own hands.  I figured I am at that point.  I ask again for a Iphone, and they say No.  At this point I figure I may have to file a small claims against Verizon or pay off my contract, something dramatic, something that will solve the problem. I am now writing down employee names etc.  This all went down last Friday, August 24th.  I talked with Deshanee.  Deshanee determines that the problem is the charger, but I explain to her that I have been reassured by two other tech people that my HTC charger is fine.  I told her I was leaving town and needed this resolved.  She said that I needed to go to a corporate Verizon store, and there she would arrange for a manager to give me a charger and charge the phone. Really!   So during rush hour traffic on a Friday, I get to run to a Verizon store and test something that might not work!!!!! Whomever reads this letter (if it every gets read), I hope that someday you have to go through this hell, frantic, running around, not knowing if I will have this resolved before my trip, and the HUMILIATION of having to do a tremendous amount of footwork, wasted time, wasted hours.  You people must really despise your client/chumps to put us through this misery and HELL!  I told  her that that was unacceptable that I wanted to talk to a supervisor.  If I go to a Verizon store during rush hour traffic on a Friday, going on my SIXTH REPLACEMENT PHONE ISSUE, I wanted to know the problem was going to be resolved.  I am not a lab rat to be sent around town for an experiment.  I asked her to get a supervisor and have him authorize me an Iphone. Deshannee reluctantly consulted with a man by the name of Chad (she refused to give me his last name), and he said, “No.”   He did not have any other solution for me other than to run to the Verizon store and test out a new charger.  I had visions of me sitting in a Verizon store for 2 hours waiting to see if a phone would charge.  At this point I am HATING VERIZON.  You have no idea the depth of my anger and resentment towards your company. I wanted to personally talk to Chad, and since it looked like I would have no other choice than to follow my orders from Verizon, I started my way to the Verizon store.  By the way, there is a Sprint store within two blocks of that corporate, Verizon store.
So Chad is not available but Denshanee connects me with a very nice supervisor by the name of Mary. Both Denshanne and Mary were courteous and professional, and I do not blame them for anything.  I BLAME VERIZON for not giving them any customer service tools to work with.  After all I have been through, figure out a way to resolve the problem once and for all.  I had to come up with the idea terminating my contract, paying the $200 penalty, Verizon crediting me back the $200, and then I would BUY the ****** IPHONE! I suggested this to Mary, and she said that only the Customer Loyalty Dept could authorize that.  So, after being on hold for quite a while, she came back to me to tell me that the Customer Loyalty Department would not authorize it.  I was left on my own. Since the Corporate Verizon store would not give me a charger for my phone, I had to buy one.  They sold me a Verizon, Universal Wall Charger. More to come on this later. Turns out EVEN THIS ISN’T RIGHT! They should have sold me a Motorola charger.  It has taken me weeks to figure out why I can’t transfer data!!!!   So, I have spent hours on the phone with Verizon tech support to try and figure out why this ****** phone won’t transfer data. Verizon tech support was NO HELP. THEY DON’T KNOW.  So, I had to call Motorola tech support to find out that Verizon’s Universal Wall Chargers are not used for data transfer. If you people were actually trying to drive me crazy, intentionally, I would be afraid for my life.  If this is your level of competence when you are trying?
I went on my trip and of course, when I arrived in Europe, my phone did not work.  I had to get on your tech support again, and it took 2 hours to trouble shoot the problem.  Even though I had called several times to ensure my phone was international ready, to make sure I had a calling plan and a data plan, no one bothered to fill my requests.  I believe I should record every phone call to Verizon, document everything. So, even after I got on a data plan, I received alerts that I was mounting over $1,000 in data roaming charges.  I had to call Verizon several times from Europe to remedy this.  You people just love making things hard.  I hate Verizon.
So, my new Motorola does not transfer data to my computer, for a reason I am not sure of, but Motorola claims I have the wrong USB cord.  I requested a car charger and was denied that today by your tech support person, Vondra.  She said that Verizon only warrants phones, and that we have to buy the chargers and such.  Yeah, of course Verizon doesn’t; that would cost you $3?  So, I called the Verizon corporate store on La Cienega, the store that refused to give me a charger, that made me buy one (one of your tech people did credit me back for that BTW).  I spoke with the manager, Vanessa.  She said that they don’t carry Motorola chargers. They sell the phones, but not the chargers.  I explained to her about the data transfer problem I was having, and she suggested I buy a memory card reader.  GREAT.  So, Verizon’s solution is to abandon the idea of having the proper equipment, piece meal a solution and yes, make me pay for it!
So, another item, which your tech support cannot solve, is that the phone does not work while it is being charged.   So, I called tech support again, asked to speak with a Supervisor.  I was put on hold for a long time, and the tech support person came back and told me that there were no supervisors available and that one would have to call me back.  I asked her the name of the supervisor that is supposed to call me back, and she said, “Alvin.”
So, a day has gone by and no call from Alvin.  I doubt he will call.  Your company is obviously going through some rough times.  I am sure that within a few months, Verizon’s incompetence and failings will start to be reflected in your ratings
I have visited the Sprint store, and I am familiarizing myself with what they have to offer. Early next year my contract expires, and most likely I will leave Verizon. I should take you to small claims court!  Most of all, I so much regret all the people I referred to you, dozens.  I talked up your network, I told everyone how happy I was with the service.  I was your advocate.  No longer, and I am not putting the same effort into letting people know how horrific Verizon has been with me during these last 18 months.  I am counting the months until my contract expires.  I will limp along with this broken phone until my contract expires, just has I have done with all the other defective phones Verizon has provided me with.  For a year my HTC phone ran on the first generation software, and I managed to just use it as phone, nothing much more, and that’s what I’ll have to do with this ****** piece of crap.

I believe you,  Ihave been a subscriber for over 8 years and over that period of time I have has some phones fail.  This I can accept and understand, however the policy of Verizon of only sending out recertified phones is a joke.  I have had over 10 replacement phones sent out to me an none have actually lasted more that 1 month.  Last year this went on and on, I was able to fix this by upgrading to the samsung stratosphere.   My son's Pantech phone failed and was replaced several  times and to  resolve this, I ended up purchasing a replacement from  Amazon.
My worked fine at first, then the internet started to get really buggy and hard almost impossible to connect.  I was very hesitant to have them send a replacement because of my experience with the replacement phones, however I had to concede because I could not connect to the Internet.  I was assured that the replacement would undergo a 100++ point check.  It arrived and I was happy with it, however a week later, it stopped charging. I spoke with a supervisor and the options he had for me was 1. keep going thru the warranty replacement process, 2 they will send me a downgraded phone (a 3G, unlike the 4G that I bought) or 3. they will buy it back for ... wait for it...$68. Another supervisor told me then they will have to keep sending out phones, every week if needed.
As expected the replacement phone failed again, and out of frustration I called again and they connected me to a manager immediately (my account is flagged because I filed a complaint with the BBB.  And for once I got a helpful person, he told me they could not ship a new phone, but a different brand, the Motorola Droid 4, I said I want to keep the Stratosphere because of the car dock and desk dock, he said they would give me new docks as well.  This seemed like a good deal, so I accepted.  The Droid arrived and I was setting it up, transferred the sim, the 32 GB SD card, contacts and all.  I noticed that the sim was not registering, it showed no data, I tried to remove it and it BURNED my hand, needless to say it fried my SD card with all the data, photos, etc....
When I was using a basic phone, this was not a big problem, just move your contacts and you are done. With smart phones this is a lot harder, you have to load all the apps and settings again.  My stand is that I am paying $200++ a month for decent service... not even perfect, just decent.  I get defective phones and Verizon is not willing to rectify this.  I spoke with someone from the executive office of verizon and basically her answer was to keep replacing the phones until one works,, buy an new one at full retail price or get it from a third party like Amazon or Ebay....or...get this since I am 5 months away from my upgrade date, they will LET me do an early upgrade to any non apple product, but PAY an early upgrade penalty.
Right now I think that I will use one of my phones, BUT I will aside from the complaint with the BBB, I am filing a complaint with the FTC.  I wrote this on the forums a few weeks ago, but of course no one from Verizon will have the B@ll$ to answer this.

  • Problems with Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder 3.1

Hello I use a version of Adobe Flash Media Encoder (3.1)
Recently doing a recording, we had the following problem.
After the recording lasted for 1 hour at 1:30 minutes, the generated video produced only 30 minutes!
Checking the video appears in the log as complete and the right length, but the final video has only 30 minutes.
    Can someone help us?
    Thank you
LOG - From the recording  -  the recording of which I speak is from 19:30
The first record of 17:30 was ok

Did you ever get this to work?  I have been using, with a qualified degree of success, taking the HDMI output from a Canon Vixia HV30, to an AverMedia Game Boradcaster C127 to FMLE.
The qualification is:  When the card is installed on an ITX board (GigaByte Z-77), in the single PCI-e slot, yes.  In fact, I'm using it weekly now on my show.
Now, if I put the same card on an Asus Z77 Maxiumus Gene board, with or without an installed video card (GTX 660), and regardless of the positioning of the C127 in the first long PCI-e slot and the GTX 660 in the next one over, or pin the PCI-4 slot, I get "No Signal AverMedia" on the screen.  Then I put it back on the ITX board (I5-2300 on there and 8GB RAM, using HDMI or DVI vidoe for the local monitor), the card then works properly.
I made sure I had the DirectShow codecs installed...and it didn't work on the larger board (plan was to be able to handle two capture cards like this in one "box" and still have a GPU in the main slot to help processing.
    Any feedback appreciated.

  • Problem with Creative Cloud Desktop app since update to Windows 8.1

Hi, I have updated my desktop and laptop to Windows 8.1 over the past day, and have noticed a problem with the Creative Cloud Desktop app.
Some menu items when I right-click on either the CC system tray icon, or click on the Settings menu icon in the app interface itself do not show.  I've included a screenshot of the problem.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the desktop app, but this has not worked.  Any ideas?

I am experiencing issues similar to the post above, with smaller floating windows but no dialouge. I uninstalled creative cloud desktop then re-installed- Issue is partly fixed, but now I get this:

  • Hdmi sound problems with m9150f in media center

I am running a pavilion m9150f Q6600 vista 32 bit and GeForce 8500 gt graphics on a sony wega 55" lcd projection tv. Recently I have been having problems with media center sound. Recorded programs from standard channels (2-64) seem fine but hd channels (1341, for example) produce an error message stating "Unsupported Audio Signal. Please check device output." Which kills all sound from Pc. After shuffling through various output options, often returning to the original settings, and occasionally reinstalling devices or drivers, the problem is fixed. Then, seemingly at random, POOF!, error occurs again.I am at my wits end and am ready to throw my PC out in the street and hit it with a bus! Please help prevent its untimely demise.
     Thank you.

    Hi again
I have downloaded the Realtek sound driver from the Tosh page and unzipped it.
(I have chosen the driver for Vista!!! I suppose you use Vista???)
There is a folder called sound. Access this folder and run Setup.exe
But before you will start this procedure you could access the device manager (control panel -> computer -> device manager) and choose sound, video, and game controller. There you have to mark realtek AC and click on uninstall and reboot the unit.
After this sound driver removing you should start the new driver installation described above. (setup.exe)

  • Player compatibility problem with dual layer media

I've created a dual layer DVD and there is a problem with compatibility from player to player.
It plays fine in one of my DVD players but will not load in the other.
The duplicators tested my master on 2 players and it loaded on both, but would lock up if a chapter was selected from the submenu.
It has 4 tracks of content. 3 menus, and a bunch of chapter markers. The original build had stories (replaced with standard chapter markers) but I removed them hoping it would solve the problem.
The imported video tracks were created with Compressor. MPEG-2 2 pass VBR max bit rate 7.5. AC3 audio tracks. 7.7 GB on disc.
I'm already way over my deadline and ahve no idea what to do next other than maybe recompress so the disc is not so close to being maxed out.

Thats just how compatible that media is... +R DL (double layer) & -R DL are not that compatible. Recordable media is less compatible that replicated discs but double and dual layer media can be 50% compatible at best (depending on your target market...)
Good quality media, Verbatim +R DL for example burnt at slow speeds helps improve things,
    -Jake

  • Is anyone having problems with siri and mail servers?

I'm in Colorado and am using a 4s on verizon.  Both yesterday and today I've had problems downloading mail from the servers. Both accounts are used as apple ID's and are tied to my icloud account.
Siri has also been failing me yesterday and today.
    Is anyone else experiencing problems?
