I really need help with my creative MuVo N200 mp3 pla

i got my MuVo N200 mp3 player for chirtmas of last year, and it stopped working in 3 months. it used to shut off every few minutes and the mic doesnt work any more and i cant record music from the radio. right now it doesnt even work for a minute, it shuts off as soon as i try and turn it on. i emailed creative when it first started happening and they sent me a email saying what to do on there website, something about downloading something. i tryed it and it didnt work, im not sure if i didnt do it right. Good question, unfortunately I have absolutely no idea. Reflashing/-formatting generally takes care of the usual cases of wonkyness this player develops, and there isn't anything more drastic you as a user could do.
Do you have a directory named "Recorded Tracks" on your player? Should be created automatically, but if it isn't you could try creating it manually...

Error with the creative Muvo V

my new creative Muvo vidz screen is slowly turning black, it happend on my old one as well and bought a new one, now this one which i have only had for 3 weeks is now doing the same.

That is where the line is. Sorry for poor image quality, camera can't really get a clear image when zoomed/moved to that close. But you can see roughly where that brown line is, as pointed out by the white arrows.

I know this question was asked one time already,
BUT it was so censored that i can't read anything!!!!!!
I try about an hour to let this thing work again... but it doesn't work...
I read threads within was said to install the newest update, and install firmware(0-5 secs holding play/pause)
but when i try to install the firmware it says unable to write on devices....
i also cant format it with windows only quickformat works... but this is more or less useless...
so i hope s.o. can help me.. i don't want to use my mp3 player only for transporting data from one point to another!!

Download the latest driver and firmware from the website. Install the driver file first. After you have install the driver, press and hold the PLAY button, continue holding the button while inserting the player into the USB port for about 0-5 sec. Run the firmware update file and tick the 'Format Data Area' check box and click on 'Start'.

It sounds like something got corrupted in the memory. I would reformat and transfer the music again. Won't take long ... 256MB with 50-ish tracks at USB2 speeds is quick.

i have a problem with my creative muvo tx fm.i have full battery and i turn off my mp3 player.then i dont use it for 2-3 months.the next time i turn it on my battery is all out even though i didnt use it!im sure it doesnt turn on by accident or anything.i use the duracell procell triple A batteries.can anyone tell me whats wrong or how to fix this?is it my battery?

My Creativ MuVo TX FM's USB Plug has broken apart. I mean it is seperated from the main player. Its an accident and I do know that the usual warranty does not apply to my device as of now. Can any one help me out with this problem. I li've in India, Bangalore. The player is just 3 months old and I still do have the vendor bill and warranty card. How can I get it repaired and how much will it cost. If I have to ship it to tech, how can I transfer all the data before that?Please help me out!

This may or may not work, but worth a try I guess. I have a TX SE (no radio, think that's about the only difference). There was new firmware available so I downloaded and ran the program from Creative. Something went wrong with the process and I was left with a 'dead' player which wouldn't switch on, and Windows didn't 'see' when I plugged it in.
In desperation I tried re-running the firmware installer program, and to my joy it saw the player (even though Windows could not!) and completed the upgrade perfectly and the player worked fine.
Even if you already had the newest firmware loaded, download it and try using it. Nothing to lose by trying...

I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC (together with the Apps) doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

I need help with my Creative Zen Vision M 3

Hi!? So I was listening to my creative zen vision M 30g mp3 player when it froze in the middle of a song. I tried to reset it using the reset hole on the bottom. When I reset it, it rebooted to the recovery mode and it has been stuck there ever since. I tried using all the options on the screen, clean up, format all, reload firmware and the reboot. The only one that really works is the reboot. The other ones will go through the motions then stop and give me the message " hard disk problem"? anyway, I can fix this at home or do I have to send it away? I have had it for about /2 now so its factory warrenty has expired so I guess I am concerned about the cost of repair. At the same time however, It was almost $300 when I bought it so I dont want to just settle for the fact that it is now not working.
Any help or advice or similar stories would be helpful. Or cost?Amas2

I have this problem for 2 mounth. I have never change anythinhg on my player. And i don't get back errors from the software.
There are mp3 on my player and photos, programs...
I don't know why i can't get back these datas.
When i cancel a date by the logiciel, it say me ok, but when i return to see if it's canceled, it's not do!!!
A message error arri've : "it's cannot be read in the juxbox" (it's a translation).
And i can't listen my music on my computer with the creative's logiciel but i can listen music directly on it!!! very strange problem.

Are you sure the battery is full? If it is, try entering recovery mode for your player (see stickied thread at the top of this forum).

Hi my name is macbrutal, today i got a black screen on my ZEN when it was on, but the battery lamp was shining blue as normal, and ofcourse the lock button was off..
You couldnt turn it off, or press any buttons.. it just were on..
If you having the same problem as i had, please try these :
First off all : ABSOLUTELY DON'T OPEN THE PLAYER!
(I mean with a screwdriver or something)
Really important so you don't broke it because of that..
-Put the ZEN back into the USB and hope for it to get back "ali've"
-Find the Reset button on your ZEN, took me 3 hours to find something to fit..
(A juice plastic thingy which i cut in pieces)
Please feel free to comment more advices so people can find their way to solve their problems with the Creative Zen player.

Print, Fax, and Scan drivers are already included with Snow Leopard for Scanning. HP Scan Pro does not work however. To scan on the Officejet 6300 series at the moment you need to use your Printer browser, the Print & Fax system preference, Preview, or Image Capture. Plenty of other thread here on the issue, including my FAQ thread.

Having problems with Creative Muvo V

My mp3 player doesn't switch on anymore. When i bought it all was ok. BUt after i put songs on it, its GB capacity, i put songs till only 00MB was left but when i switch it on, it switches on showing creative muvo... then it switches off. I downloaded the recent firmware and when i connect the mp3 to my computer it is detected as player recovery device class. What must i do, i tried to reinstall the new firmware but then it says that it does not detect any usb device...
Please help me.
While putting songs on my mp3 player, my computer freeze once, then don't know what happened all my songs was deleted the mp3 player was formatted. And while I was connecting the device and opening it there was an error on I/O error.
I really have not been able to use my mp3 player, that's really hard.

Weird -- I have the same problem, and my muvo slim is about the same age. The only difference is, my player was unresponsi've to any reformating or reloading of the firmware. I'm waiting to hear from customer service. Did you fix your problem? I wonder -- you don't suppose Creative puts a self-destruct routine in their players to "encourage" you to buy the next model at the 6-month mark? Nah, couldn't be.
