Proceedure req. after system failure.

Can anybody help, please. My old system has failed and I have purchased a new one, at this point I'm not sure I can save my old h/drve.
If I can what do I need to do to transfer PS to my new system. If I can't what do I need to do to install PS on the new system.
I will be running Windows XP, I have my original PS disc's of CS & CS2, do I need to install both disc or can I just install CS2.
If more info is required just ask.

A Photoshop license allows activation on two different computers, like your work and your home, as long as only one is in use at the same time.
If the new system you're setting up is the second time you've installed, you'll be ok, but if this new install (or some subsequent install) will be the third time, then you may need to call Adobe to get the other install (on the crashed system) deactivated.

Time Machine won't back up after system restore

I just restored my system after a failure, and now Time Machine won't back up my hard drive. It gets about 40 out of 90 Gigabytes done, and then gives me an error message that just says that there was an error while backing up, and doesn't give any other information. I ran a Verify Disk with Disk Utility, and there is nothing wrong with the backup drive, and there is more than 200 Gigabytes of space left on that drive.

된다.이 PO에 대한 available한 workflow가 없고,reprocess 하기 위해
wfretry를 시도해도 실패한다면 아래 script를 이용한다.

Explanation
Document approval시 발생하는 Document Approval Manager crashing은 PO의상태를 IN PROCESS로 만드는 원인이 된다.
Workflow는 완전히 처리되지 못하고 workflow activities processes와
system 안에서 "lost" 상태가 된다.
이 때 wf_item_key는 어떤 active한 workflow와도 상응하지 못하기 때문에
불필요한 상태가 되어 버린다.
System crash로 인해 session variable data를 잃어버렸기 때문에 wfretry
를 실행해도 workflow는 restart 되지 못한다.
Solution :
아래 steps에 따라 작업한다.

Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE in DB13

Hello All,
When i opened the t-code DB13 i saw that this job "Mark tables requiring statistics update" is cancelled.

When check for the BGD Job in SM37 for this job i found the same error in the job log with the status cancelled.

I couldn't find any logs in SM21 of that time also no dumps in ST22.
Possible reason for this error:
I have scheduled the job Check database structure (only tables) at some other time and deleted the earlier job which was scheduled during the bussiness hours which caused performance problem.
So to avoid performance issue i scheduled this job in the mid night by cancelling the old job which was scheduled during the bussiness hours.
And from the next day i could see this error in DB13.
Rest all the backups are running fine but the only job getting cancelled is for "Mark tables requiring statistics update"
Could anyone tell me what should i do to get rid of this error?
Can i schedule this "Mark tables requiring statistics update" again by deleting the old one?

Thanks for your response.
Every alternate day we used to have performance issue at 19:00hrs.
Then when i checked what is causing this problem, i discovered that there was a backup "Check Database Structure (tables only)" scheduled at this time and it was mentioned that this backup may cause performance issue.
Then i changed "Check Database Structure (tables only)" the time of this backup to 03:00hrs.
The next day when i checked DB13 i found that one of the backups failed.
i.e. "Mark Tables Requiring Statistics Update"
Then i checked the log which i posted earlier with the error: "Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE"
I posted this error here and then i tried to delete the jobs scheduled i.e. "Mark Tables Requiring Statistics Update" and then re-schedule it at the same time and interval.
And then it started working fine.
So i just got curious to know the cause of the failure of that job.

P.S There is one more thing which i would like to say which is not related to the above issue, and m sorry to discuss this in this thread.
I found a few Bottlenecks in ST04 with Medium and High priority.
Medium: Selects and fetches selectivity 0.53%: 122569 selects and fetches, 413376906 rows read, 2194738 rows qualified.
High: 108771 primary key range accesses, selectivity 0.19%: 402696322 rows read, 763935 rows qualified.
There are a lot these.
I would really appreciate if you tell me what is the cause for these Bottlenecks and how to resolve.

HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-one problem printing. Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy--

I'm having a problem printing on my HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One. The following message is what came up on the printer screen: Ink System Failure has failed unable to copy, receive faxes or print. Refer to printer documentation Error O.cl9a0007.

Hey Spider! First off welcome to the forum.
I would recommend removing all the ink cartridges, unplugging the USB cable from the computer that connects to the printer, and then shutting the printer off completely by removing the power cord. Then restart your computer. Turn the printer back on but leave it disconnected from the computer. After it has finished its power on cycle go ahead and insert the ink cartridges back into the printer and be sure to seat them properly.
After you have all the cartridges back in the printer properly then connect it to the computer. See if this resolves the issue. If not post back with any findings.

C5180 Ink System Failure hp 0xc19a0024

Hello Everybody,
Recently I moved from one city to another. After one week of that I run my HP C5180 printer. Unfortunately I have until today an error: "Ink system has failed. Refer to printer documentation. Error: 0xc19a0024. Turn power off then on again."
Of course I didn’t find any information in my documentation. Also turn off and on didn't help.
After reset this error (using Manufacturing Key Combo) I can “Print Report” but page is empty.
Full reset to the manufacturing settings don’t help. After “Tools/Clean Printhead” or “Tools/Align Printer”... ERORR 0xc19a0024 appear again.
I called to the HP support, but the printer is out support and I didn’t get answer what this error mean.
I will very gratefully if somebody explain me what the error 0xc19a0024 exactly mean. Any solutions of my problem are also very welcome.

Ink system failure printhead unrecognized

I keep getting ink system failure errors and printhead is missing or unrecognized. I have turned off and restarted the printer and unplugged and replugged the printer. I ran the diagnostics. At first it said there was a printhead problem but now it says everything is OK but it will not print a test page. There was no decline in print quality before it failed. It stopped printing suddenly after printing several jobs perfectly. I was about to buy a new printer when it printed something from a different computer on my network (a MAC), so the printhead and cartridges are actually working fine. Why is there a communication problem from my usual computer? What can I check now?

Could please tell me why I am facing this problem only when I am using Dynamic configuration code.
If I dont use Dynamic configuration code then I am not getting any error .But my requirement is to generate dynamic file name (Note I have tried with Variable Substution also, It is also not solving my problem as I need time stamp of ("CET") time zone).

Yes I have appended throws StreamTransformationException and imported the relevant StreamTransformationException class also.
Here I am getting strange thing when I am adding dynamic configuration code " SYSTEM FAILURE" during JCo call. But Jco cal is something to internal systems which does not relate to Dynamic Configuration.
If I run my code with out any Dynamic Configuration code then it is running with out any errors.
But I need this Dynamic Configuration inorder to generate dyanamic file name.

Detail of Problem:-
After Susessful configuration of
1) Foundation Services (Hyperion Shared Services)
2) Essbase administration services
3) Essbase Server
4) Hyperion reporting and analysis
5) Planning -----> Product options, Register with shared services, configure database, deploy to application server (Appache)
Error Point: when i tick ckeck box in front of Product instance registration
click next
create instance
click next
instance name-Plan1
Web tier host name: my machine name (neeraj-pc, as i installed locally all component of hyperion)
server port: 8300 (system suggesting)
tick on active instance
click next
Error Pop Up "System Failure: Error while retrieving xml file from database"
Details of PlanningSystemDB (file :- \Hyperion\common\config\PlanningSystemDB.properties)

Supplementary Service Error : System Failure

I am using Blackberry 8520 Curve mobile with Reliance GSM prepaid network in India.
I am unable to access the internet and facing problem, while checking balance inquiry that "Supplementary Service Error : System Failure".
Further, I would also like to register my mobile.

Firstly, SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICE ERROR, is not an error to be worried upon.
It is highlighted mostly after every call which You make it from your BlackBerry Smartphone.
Secondly for activating BIS, you need to contact your service provider.
Once activated, you'll get to see "EDGE" symbol on your homescreen, near network strength signals.

Post gong black strips with white type. System Failure: cpu=0; etc. HELP

I happened to plug in a palm pilot dock unit to my keyboard while my machine was booting up and although it may have noting to do with it, I now have the grey screen with the system failure message. The first line ends with "Corrupt Stack" and it goes on with "unaligned frame address" etc.
I tried to boot from the Tiger install disk, but no luck and the same result. Booted and held the x key. Booted and held the c key. Nada.
Is it dead?

Weird...after closing down and rebooting with a Tiger install disk (which my drive wouldn't read), and holding down my mouse buttoms, it's back like nothing ever happened. I just cleaned up my permissions and will now look for some utilities to figure out what's up. I'm getting a new iMac in a couple of weeks, so hopefully Ole Bess will hold up until then.
