Process Batch in IS Mills

Is there internal batch number assignment possible for Process Batches in IS Mills system?

Hi Ramakant,
SAP recommends to use the production order no and some additional values to identify the process batches.
The Process batches cannot have internal number range and it has to be given by the user who is creating the Process batch.
I am providing you with some information from the help file provided by SAP for DIMP for Process batches. Read the steps carefully, if you want I can mail you this PDF its very helpfull.

Creation of process batch and goods issue of component
A process batch will be created for the production order of the preceding step.
1. Start transaction
Portal Navigation
Logistics Execution u2192 Production Execution u2192 Time Ticket f. Prod. Order
System Menu Path
R/3 : Logistics -> Production -> Production Control -> Confirmation -> For Operation -> Time Ticket
System Transaction Name
R/3: CO11N
2. Insert the following data:

4. In the detail area Goods Issue, mark the GI line and choose Stock Batch Determination GI.
5. Press Copy on the next screen.
6. Mark the goods issue line and press PB.
7. Enter a number e.g.u201C<order number>25u201D for the process batch in the popup and choose . A status message u201CValues are assigned batch u202625 with reference to batch 4711u201D appears.
8. Choose On the Process Batch detail area a new PB was created. This PB is marked in the column PcB which indicates preceding batch exists. The reason is that the PB was created with reference to the component batch.
9. On the Process Batch detail area, mark the PB line and press : The reference to the component batch will be displayed top-down. After opening the tree node close the u201CBatch where-used list for process batchesu201D.
