Process chain program variant will not change from yellow...

<b>Problem:</b>
I have a process chain that has two branches with 3 process chain variants on each leg in a parallel configuration. The process chain variants run different program variants. I am using variant object called "ABAP Program with Success/Failure " which can have a yellow, green, or red status and has status arrows that can be either red or green that connect to other process chain variants. The program executed with these variants is a customized BPS UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE program. When I run this PC the first variant on each leg usually hangs indefinitley on the yellow status. In the Backg tab log (double click PC variant in Log View) I can see the various SQL code that was ran. The last line of the log is an SQL-END:... Sometimes it will get past the first 2 varaints and hang on the next set of 2. Other times it will just hang on the last variant of one leg. It is very sporadic.
<b>What I have observed and tried:</b>
If I check my SM51 for the server the chain is running on I can see that the program in question is not running. If I run the same program through SE38 that runs via a PC variant it runs sucessfully in an appropriate amount of time. If I kill the process that has been running indefinitley through SM51 the process chain variant will go from a yellow status to a red as expected.
I changed they way I ran the programs from running in parallel in 2 legs to running all of them in one leg serially. That did not work. At least one program variant will hang on the yellow status.
I replaced all the variants using "ABAP Program with Success/Failure" to "ABAP Program" which has a red/green status but no red or green arrows, but black coming out of the variant forcing it to move down the chain on a sucess or failure. The process chain variants also hung in the yellow status using the "ABAP Program" variant.
I have tried starting the process chain using both "Direct Scheduling" with "Immediate" and "After Event." I have also kicked it off using "Start Using Meta Chain or API" so it was functioning as a sub process chain. Programs were still yellow in every case without changing to red or green.
I created new process chain variants for every single program/variant that I am using. Still no luck.
I have tried removing the chain from the schedule and re-activating and re-running and still no luck.

Change Management Request will not change from Status New

When I create a new Change Request the Status is listed as New. The Status never changes from "New" to "Pending" or "In Progress." In addition, my Review Activity Status is blank and I cannot approve the Change Request.
Any ideas?

Using Mountain Lion iOS and audio output will not change from internal speakers to AppleTV so that sound can come from TV speakers, why??

I am using Mountain Lion iOS and trying to connect my MacBook Pro to my plasma TV using AppleTV and AirPlay mirroring. The video does just fine. However, there is no audio coming from the TV. After activating AirPlay I try to select Apple TV as the audio output in System Preferences and it highlights it but then immediately goes back to Internal Speakers and only has sound coming from the MacBook Pro..
What's going wrong ?????

Are you sure that WIFI network doesn't have an AppleTV on it? Just because you don't own it doesn't mean there isn't one on that network. The laptop or better said the OS cannot differentiate between an AppleTV that you own or not. If it sees one on the network, it will show you one as being available. The automatic reconnection is happening probably because the last time you streamed to an AppleTV, you didn't drop that connection before sleeping the computer or shutting down iTunes.

Programs will not open from Dock

I have updated my Macbook Pro with Yosemite which has led to - a lot. Programs will not open from Dock, they are just revealed in Finder. Scrolling with mousebuttons in a browser will zoom instead of scroll, the courser will not change after changing tool in Indesign. Just to mention a few problems i have discovered so far. I think I was an idiot to uppgrade to Yosemite. PLEASE HELP!

Open Disk Utility and Repair Permissions, then quit DU and Restart the MBP. If that does not clear the issues, restart again holding the Command and R keys, and from Utilities on the menu bar select Install Mac OS X. That will reinstall Yosemite but leave your content and settings intact. See if that repairs whatever is broken.

Process chains failing - There is no path from LOADING (ipak) to PSAPROCESS

In the load process type of my process chain I am loading till PSA.
I am using the process type - update from PSA for 3 ODSs and loading all of them to the cube. one of these three process types is finishing successfully. For rest of the two I get following errors:
1. There is no path from [IPAK name] to PSAPROCESS [variant name]
2. Variant doesnot contain a valid combination request/data target
For the two process types which are failing, the request is not being picked up from PSA. Can you please suggest what can be the reason and how to fix it?

How is it going on today , is there any change or same thing happened?.
I hope you have followed the below steps for re activation and schedule.
1. Go to process chain maintain view and in the menu option
Process Chain --> "Remove from schedule".
2.Process Chain --> "Activate" .
3.Process Chain --> "Activate and schedule" ( Note: Don't do this step If it is immediate start )
If the above steps does not work may be you can do one more thing , that is copy the whole process chain in to new one and create a new start event .
I had seen this type of errors and after activate and schedule it went fine.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.

My preferences will not open from the apple menu. Time machine will not open either. I've tried reinstalling Lion, to no avail. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have exactly the same issue. After FF upgraded on its own to version 5, it won't open from start menu, taskbar, desktop icon, or even by pressing firefox.exe in program files directory. It does so by pressing a link at msn messenger, inside Outlook etc.
Disabling all addons, didn't help. Moreover, I can't start FF in safe mode or start profile manager (Start > Run> firefox.exe -ProfileManager).

Ideally there should not be any impact of OS change, but officially PSE5 is not supported on Win7.
What exactly happens ? Can you see the processes running in Task-manager?

Emac Will Not Boot From CD

Hi - any help will be greatly appreciated.
I have an eMac G4. My wife was using it when the dreaded spinning ball appeared. She did not know about the force quit procedure and turned the machine off. On reboot the Mac returns almost to where she left it - Question mark > changes to Smiley Mac - spinning ball upper left - clicking noise very faint in Back. CD heard spinning but when holding "C" key will not boot from CD. Using start > Option, CD appears but right arrow returns screen to smiley and spinning ball upper left.
Any idea if she could have mechanically hurt HD when shutting down as ball spun? Why wont the eMac boot up from a bootable CD when holding "C" or option?

I've experimented. Reset the PRAM ... reset the PMU. Now I am getting a little different result. The Mac musical sound when booting works (didn't before), but same result.
Interesting notes: The computer does not shut down when shut down using the power key. It is actually in 'sleep' mode because touching any key or moving mouse wakes it up and begins the start-up process.
I attached an external HD with a boot-up disk on it to the eMac and held down 'option' on start-up. Got the correct screen with the OSX CD in tray and HD 120 showing as options. Chose HD, clicked right arrow and got a long kernel panic notice. On re-doing the same, HD did not show at all. OSX CD in tray showed as option but would not highlight. Then I hit return and got a message saying "invalid memory access" with several numbers. Could the memory be corrupted? Bad Ram chip? Should I remove one ram chip and try that?
