Process image: red line and flag --- BPM standalone 10g

In the BPM standalone 10g, I hightlight one instance and click the link of process image.
In the pop window, the flag is in the current activity. However, the red line is still in the first activity.
Why they are not in the same place.?

Thanks for your reply. I set all interactive activities and automatic activities to generate events. The red line can be extended to most activities.
However, the red line cannot be showed between 2 interactive activities. These interactive activities are linked by a business rule transition. And the unditional transition cannot be red color

BPM standalone 10g - cannot undeploy process

I create processes in the BPM studio 10g. Then, I deploy and publish these processes. This morning, I change the global creation activity of one process. I just delete the original global creation activity and add a new one with a new name. I also change the name of the first interactivity activity.
Then, I undeploy and unpublish the old process in the BPM standalone 10g.
However, after I deploy the updated process, publish it, and re login workspace, the old global creation activity is still in the workspace. It shows error when I click the old global creation activity.
I have to stop BPM web application and restart it. It works after I click the global creation activity. However, it still calls the old interactive activity's name.
Should I reinstall the BPM standalone and studio?

You might first want to stop and then restart the engine.
If that does not work, undeploy and unpublish the project you have running on Enterprise. Once you've done this, republish and deploy the new version of your project.

Black has red lines and strange red color pattern in it!

I have an HP Touchsmart 520 - 1030 windows 7 all in one. When I turn on my computer and the Windows icon in the middle of the screen appears what should be a black backrground behind the icon is dark red. Once it boots up completely, everything black has a strange red lines and patterns in it.
Is there a fix for this?

You could try re-installing the graphics driver. If that doesn't work, it's possible the screen hardware could be starting to have problems.

Is there a way to get rid of those "red lines and boxes" that surround email text?

The red lines and boxes I refer to in the question do not cause any real problems, but editing email, cut and pasting, etc., can get a little complicated with them appearing in the text of an email. I couldn't see any setup or option that referred to these red lines and boxes. Can they be eliminated? Thanks!

You are seeing combing arifacts due to the computer monitor's inability to display interlaced video correctly.
This is particularly noticable when the Canvas is set to a size value other than 100%.
If the end product is meant to be put back on DVD and shown on a TV it will not be an issue, if you are going to the web, change your field dominance to none in the Sequence settings before exporting (or in Compressor, which will do a better job).
Don't change it while editing - this will mean you have to constantly render.

Red line and beeps when trying to apply Audio Filters in FCE

I'm using FCE 4.0.1 and am getting red line and beeps when trying to apply Audio Filters. I have rendered the files. No problems with audio otherwise.

Just as a point of clarification, you stated that you were "getting red line and beeps when trying to apply Audio Filters" Did you mean when you applied audio filters? Or just when you were trying to apply them?
What is the format, sampling rate and bit depth of the audio? Does it happen just with certain filters or with any filters applied?

How to import the organization to BPM standalone 10g

I create the contents of the organiztion in BPM studio 10g. When I deploy the ###.exp file to BPM standalone 10g, the new roles can be mapped to BPM standalone. However, the participants' information cannot be imported. How to import the participants' information?

Hi Ye,
To import the Participant information you entered in Studio into Enterprise:
1) Make sure the participants in Studio have First and Last names. While this is not manditory for Studio, it is for Enterprise.
2) In Studio, right mouse click "Organization" in the Project Navigator -> "Export" -> remember where you export the .xdml file
3) In the Enterprise Process Administrator tool click "Organization" -> click the "Import" tab -> "Organization" -> click "Browse" and select the .xdml file you exported in step 2 -> click "Import"

BPM standalone 10g configuration

A BPM standalone is installed in Windows 2003 sp1 on a VM. I also apply the patch to it. It cannot be configured with a DB installed in another machine (10g). However, it can be configured with other DB (11g/10g) installed in the same machine or different one. It cannot be configured with just one DB.
When I configure it with a DB installed in my machine (the VM is installed in my machine. DB is not installed in VM) multiple times (I create about 5 directory and do not drop the users--OBPMDir*/OPBMEngine*), the workspace shows error: cannot find *** process.
However, after I reboot the PC, it works fine.
The log file of installation:

It is different with another installation log of BPM standalone 10g which works fine.

Cannot integrate BPM Standalone 10g with OSB 10g

I integrate the BPM 10g with OSB 10g following the steps of integrating BPM and ALSB - BPM 10.3 Configuration Guide(http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/config_guide/index.html)
I can create Process Registration Configuration and Management Host.
I select the item name created by me in the dropdownlist of Registration Configuration.
However, when I click the button of Register, it shows error: You must select at least one item from the list.
But in the OSB, I can find the folders which are created with the managment host.
Where is the list?

I use BPM standalone 10g and BPM studio 10g. I also extend the weblogic domain to include the OSB, ADF, and workshop lib.
I check all projects in BPM standalone and they are completely deployed. I set the steps are publishing projects after it is deployed. I redeploy and republish projects which are created in BPM studio. But the Service registration status table is still blank.
In BPM studio 10g, I create the osb management host, osb process registration, and osb proxy server configurations under the external resources. The osb struct (project, wsdl, xsd, business service) can be created in studio.
Then, I click the icon of OSB registration. In the dialogue, after I click the button of register or update, it shows that: Operation ignored since no services have been selected
What server should I create ? Should I create a proxy server in OSB first?

My kid just got an iPod 5th gen (today from Santa) and it won't power up or charge. The only response is when I connect the USB and press the power button or front button the Battery appears with red line and lightning symbol. No other response at all.

Normally during months the edition was done with Microsoft AVI DV Files (4:3 NTSC 48 Khz). No effects (just cuts). Proyect settings as DV-NTSC Standard 48 KHz
Since today when the work is done in a new or old proyect (DV-NTSC Standard 48 KHz) and if the same file (Microsoft AVI DV) is loaded to timeline now is showing a red line over the video on timeline (so requires render). There no effects. This never happens before. it is very weird.
The Premiere is CS3 ver 3.2.0.
This is happening to 2 computers with the same version.So far I know there is no changes on the systems
I was thinking to reisntall 3.0 and then test and the update to 3.2...

It worked once in one of the computers. (AVi DV didnt show render red over line). BUt afterwards the problem got back. The only solution so far was to reinstall premiere, update to 3.2.0 in both pc.
It worked for a while then problems was again. Reinstalled for second time, so far 2 days still ok.. It is very weird. I unchecked updates from cs3 and windowsfor just in case has any relation.

Help - ipod shows red lines and displays white screen?

This is the 3rd Ipod Touch, 4th Generation, I've had in 2 years. Something has been wrong with each one of them. The one I have now is only 2 months old and unfortunately my Apple Care Warranty has expired, last month. I was not allowed to purchase a new Apple Care warranty for the new Ipod, so basically I am stuck with another "lemon". Here's the problem, this time.
My Ipod shows 2 thin red lines which extend half way across the screen from left to right, upper left corner when holding Ipod vertically. sometimes when turning the Ipod on, the screen is almost all white and I can barely see the time and "slide to unlock". It always happens when I plug into power. Also, the red lines flash bright white at times and then extend across the entire screen. If I take a picture of it, (holding down power and home buttons) it looks normal.
Has anyone else had such a problem? Can anyone suggest a solution? I'd like to take this to Apple and say, "What the heck?" Is it policy to replace a defective product with one that they wouldn't sell in their store but is OK to give as a replacement? I love my Ipod Touch, but this is extemely frustrating!

Disco, red lines and general desktop distortions!

Hi all,
I've discussed my mac problems on here before which are ongoing but to get a different take on it I'm just posting a particular problem.
When switching on my mac I sometimes get red lines over my desktop, I went to restart and I got full screen flashes of white, purple, grey and pixels. Sometimes my icons are pixelated and I had my desktop have squares which look like distorted desktop backgrounds. This with freezing means I have to do 4-6 manual restarts before it works!
Any idea what could cause this?

No, but I would try with a different graphics card (if possible) and different monitor (and/or adapter).

Sending Consultations - BPM standalone 10g workspace

After I deploy the process to the BPM standalone, I create a new Consultation in the workspace according to the Oracle BPM 10.3 Help.
The process includes 2 participants. But I add the user who does not belong to the participant team of this process and belong to other processes.
I can see the consulting note in workspace. But if I login as the consulting user, I cannot find that process.

Random Vertical red lines and banding

happy new year everyone,
I have recently bumped into as very annoying problem with my photoshop. It will randomly show red vertical lines on top of the image (see pic attached). This lines will sometimes dissapear when I zoom in/out or they will stay until re-open the image, so....
is this Photoshop (only noticed it since one of the last updates) glitch? or a grasphic Card problem?
Specs are:
i7 X980 3.33Ghz
24Gb Ram
W7 Pro
GeForce GTX 480 (with latest drivers)

My screen has a red line and flickers when on for very long. What can I do?

A thin red (sometimes blue) line appears horizontally half way up my screen. When left on, the screen begins to flicker. At that point I turn it off for fear that it will do more damage. I have completely shut down and synced. The problem is still there. What can I do, short of sending it in for repairs?
Is this a common problem? Can it be fixed easily? If it has happened to you, what did you do and how long did repairs take.
BTW, this is an 8 GB 4th generation iPod Touch, purchased new through Apple last spring.

To rule out a software problem try one at a time in order:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore the iPod from backup via iTunes on the computer
- Restore the iPod to factoery defaults/new iPod
If still problem, either make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare (1-800-MY-APPLE) for warranty service.
