hi,
The business object <b>master recipe</b> is the description of an enterprise-specific process in process industries, that does not relate to a specific order. The master recipe is used for the manufacture of products or for rendering services.
Using <b>control recipes</b>, you transfer control data from the process order to process control. The information contained in a control recipe and the destination to which it is sent are user-defined.

Possible to check total incoming/outgoing size per domain?

Hello :),
Is it possible to see the top incoming or outgoing emails by total size?
The intention is to determine which domain or emails may be eating the network bandwidth.
Also, is there a Report to check the Incoming email graph/statistics a listener or specific domain receives? I tried Monitor > Incoming Mail, with the domain options but it does not show them. As we have several clients in the same Appliance we need a Report for the email that only client1.com or client2.com received.

My unoffical answer is using Mail Flow Central in the unoffical way.
login the MFC mysql
select rcpt_domain,sum(message_size) as total_size from recipients r, messages m
where r.sid = m.sid
and r.mid = m.mid
and timestamp > unix_timestamp(date_sub(now(), interval 1 day))
group by rcpt_domain order by total_size desc limit 0,20
This will give the top 20 total message size processed by receipent domains of last 1 day.
This executes just forever if you want more days or add the transfer_id as a condition..(i left it out delibrately).
There are alternatives,
1.
In my experience, your incoming total size statistics can, alternatively, be generated by your ultimate message store server (sendmail/postfix/exchange).
Your outoging total size is a little difficult if not using the above tweaked method.
2.
scp the mail_logs out regularly, look for "MID XXXXXX ready YYYY bytes for "

B/S and P/L Accounts

Hello Experts,
Could you please let me know more in detail the differences between B/S and P/L accounts.
For Ex: in the purchase to pay cycle
Dr Inventory
Cr GR/IR A/c
Dr GR/IR A/C
Cr Vendor A/C
Dr Vendor A/c
Cr Cash A/C
so in the flow - i guess the vendor and cash a/cs are b/s a/c and gr/ir and inventory is a p/l account.
Am i right ?

Control receipe creation in process order

Can you please tell me how to create control receipe.
After releasing the process order when I select the button for creating control receipe. System shows error as " No control receipe generated"
Please tell me the basic steps required to create control receipe and PI sheet.

Hi,
Check In master Recipe ,in the PI Tab,There must be some PI category is assigned and in that PI Category,this PI Charactiristic has been assigned.
First goto that Phase of the Master Recipe and then goto PI tab and then find the PI category.
In Process order
Goto->List->Control Recipe List--->
As per above link first find out Control Recipe is generated or not and also find out its status.
If Status is Created then you can find it in CO53,
if status is Sent then you can find it in CO55 or CO60

Process Chain Mail - Return Receip

We have configured a process chain to send an email if it encounters an error. When we open the email in Lotus Notes, it sends a "return receipt" back to the server.
I have changed the "Trans Options" configuration tab SendStatus to "Never". However, the changes don't stick.
Does anyone have any experience in configuring in this so it doesn't send return receipts? Thanks.

I have the sucess and error messages created and also the Receipts email id's also specified.
But it doesnt trigger off the success or error messages to the Receipient inbox(Lotus Notes email).
We tested sending emails from the SAP Office inbox to the clients Lotus Notes inbox (the message waits and flows to the recepient inbox ,we can observer in /trans. SCOT)it does work.But it doesnt work for Process Chain message triggering.
Plz Let me know if we need or have to check any other settings or if anyone has come across similair siruation wherein you had to trigger of message from BW Process Chain to Lotus Notes email and had to do some additional settings or code writing.Is there a White Paper available for this ?

Text in PI Sheet and Process Order did not match

Dear Sir,
We are going to upgrade to our system from 4.7 to ECC6.
We have a problem with PI Sheets with the Long text. The text instruction shown in the PI sheet is not matching with the long text put in the Process Order and Master Receipe.
We are using the Process Instruction Category "INST" and we are puting long text for instruction for this in the Master Receipe. At the time for creation of Process Order this Process instruction Category fatch correct value of long text from the Master Receipe after released the Process Order, Control Recipe generated for the same Process Order. But when we are going to process these Control Receipe from the T-Code CO60, We find the some different text for the "INST".
This problem is not for one Material and Plant Specific.

Hello Gaurav,
There might be another possibility, make sure if you make any changes in the Control Recipe Destination program or user exit to populate the long text while sending the CR to the destination to reflect with the PO/Master Recipe.

Control recipe destination not available in Process order

Hi PP-PI Gurus,
When i am sending the process maessages to destinations,i am getting the error"No control receipe destination available in process order".
When we create master recipe using X-steps, there is no option to enter comtrol recipe destination. Infact we asssign the destination in X-step tree.
When the control recipe is created for a process order using x-steps, the operations overview will not have the control recipe destination.
When the status of the control recipe is sent to destination(PI02),the system throws the above error.
Any help on how to resolve this error.

Hi Dhavel,
Whether it is PI_CRST or PI_CRST2 i am getting the same error message.
When i am working with Conventional Characterestics based process instructions in my recipe, everything is working fine.
When i use X-steps instead of process instructions in master recipe to create the control recipe, i am facing this error.
So it is clear that , when we are using Execution steps(X-steps) to create PI sheet,there needs some extra settings.
Any body working with X-steps in process order ,request your help please to resolve this issue.

Problem during Process Order creation

Hi,
I have problem while creating Process Order.
I have maintained all the basic data required to create the process order.
When I Release the order, I am able to create the control recipe also, but PI sheet is not generated along with it. System gives the message "No PI maintained in customising for CRD for which control recipe is to be generated "
If I maintain the same, then system is unable to create the control recipe.
What may be the problem here? What i can do to rectify this situation?

1. Maintain PI in SPRO of process management
2. Assign this PI to one of phse in master recipe
3. Plz check wheather ur created Control receipe destination or not.
4. if not then maitain the same in Spro.
5.Check the ordre type dependent parameter i.e COR4 from SPRO
see the Control recipe gerated in REL phse else maintai the asme in production scheduling profile.

Additional standard text in Process order

Hi gurus
I have a question. I have maintained a standard text in RECEIPE and the same gets copied into process order. In the process addionally i have added a standard text to an exting phase. But while printing the shop floor papers , the same is not getting printed. Only the one attached in the receipe is getting printed. Can anyone help he with this?

In process order creation after scheduling I am getting below error
Master recipe not released: 50000001 1
Can any one explain me, How i can release the master receipe.

That is due to status of your Master Recipe.I think it is still under Created Status (1).Change it to Release(4).

Time elements in process order

Hi,
Where does the system takes time elements from in a process order. After scheduling the time elements are entered in the process order. But where does the system gets the time elements from. Does the master receipi has a role to play in it?

It depends upon that whether you are opting for lead time or basic time scheduling.........
It can take the value from the master recipe or the material master based upon the config done ..........

hi,
I have created new order type for process order.
when i made process order & i going for confirmation in cor6n , on screen fixed & variable overheads values are coming which system had taken from receipe.
when i did changes in that values which are in hrs & confirm & settle the order, in cost analysis plan cost & Actual cost was seem to be same.
I dont get why this is happen ? is there any config in order type.

External Email address in process chain alerting not fully displayed

Friends,
I have this weird problem and not sure if its a real issue.
I am maintaining messages for process chain failure alerting. I am using an external address and receipant type as "via Internet".
When I enter email id (ex: abc.123.xyz at mycompany.xxx) save it and come back, and If I re enter that screen the entered email is not fully displayed, few chars are truncated, (ex : abc.123.xyz@mycompan).
Can you guys please help me figure out what the issue is?
Is there any restriction on the length?
