    Dear Gurus,
We are using the strategy 40. We need some information on sample sending procedure like preshipment or coshipment and quantity of delivery to the process order PI sheet to identify the production team to keep the sample ready before confirmation or receipt of the process orders.
It is sepcific to some customer or material.
Could you please help me how to configure / flow information from sales order or Material to PI sheet or process order confirmation.

    Hi,
Process Massage will generate only after Completing the PI sheet. So after maintaining the PI sheet you have to press Complete button then only system will generate Process Massage regarding completion of PI sheet.
But if you leave the PI sheet only with Save then it means still there are some entries are left or may be change. So in this case system will not generate process massage.
Now first complete the PI sheet then check in CO54 with correct date , time and plant selection.Send it from here and then check in process order.

  • Text in PI Sheet and Process Order did not match

    Dear Sir,
We are going to upgrade to our system from 4.7 to ECC6.
We have a problem with PI Sheets with the Long text. The text instruction shown in the PI sheet is not matching with the long text put in the Process Order and Master Receipe.
We are using the Process Instruction Category  "INST" and we are puting long text for instruction for this in the Master Receipe. At the time for creation of Process Order this Process instruction Category fatch correct value of long text from the Master Receipe after released the Process Order, Control Recipe generated for the same Process Order. But when we are going to process these Control Receipe from the T-Code CO60, We find the some different text for the "INST".
This problem is not for one Material and Plant Specific.

    Hello Gaurav,
There might be another possibility, make sure if you make any changes in the Control Recipe Destination program or user exit to populate the long text while sending the CR to the destination to reflect with the PO/Master Recipe.

  • How to print process instruction in process order.

    Hi dudes,
,y client is not having Process management interface, but they want to maintain process instruction for phases in recipe and want to take print of process instructions  in process order after release process order.
Please explain the path for printing process instructions copied into process order.
if some one assign PIs to phase in recipe, will control recipes be created after release of process order.
    Regards
    Daniel

The easiest way to do what you want is to actually create the PI sheet and then print it off from the view PI sheet transaction (CO60).  This is then all standard functionality.
to do this you will need to set the configuration to create the control recipe when the process order is released and send it to a recipe destination.

  • Process order confirmation through PI sheet without Batch no.

    Hi Experts,
Can any body tell me how can we confirm the process order through PI sheet without batch no.? I know though COEBR we can confirm the order through PI sheet but it requires batch no. & We don't have batch managenent implemented.
Youe suggestions are valuable for me.
    Regards,
    Shivkumar Dachawar

To make GR for the order for materials without PI sheet.
    1. Process instruction category PROD_2 - which does not require batch number. Tcode O12C
    2. Assign this Process instruction category to your Control recipe destination for your plant - SPRO- > PPPI -> Process management  -> Control recipe / PI sheets -> Contrl. rec. destination -> Define and setup
If you need more information let me know.

  • PP-PI sheet through goods issue for Process order

    Hi,
I want to know how to post goods issue without reference of reservation number against process order through PI sheet.
I defined one call function 'ENTER CONFIRMATION' through which I can enter into confirmation screen but after saving confirmation of process order ,generally I switched on  to transaction CO54 through which one should sent this PI_CONS message to the desired destination but in that I'm getting an error ,that it is not allowing me to post goods issue excess quantity.(WITHOUT REFERENCE OF RESERVATION NUMBER)
how to by-pass that reservation number.
Manually when we do MB1A it will allow us to issue more quantity but that is manually but when it is through PI sheet it is not allowing me to issue excess quantity.
    Regards,
    Amit.

    Hi,
I want to do GI AND GR  through PI sheet ,I already used PI_CONS AND PI_PROD ,but it is not allowing me to enter quantity excess from bom quantity mentioned .it is not allowing me to override reservation quantity while making gr .

For to by-pass reservation number I already made zpi_cons and zpi_prod under message category and assigned to instruction category.

  • Process instruction sheet and control recipe

    dear,
can u let me know how the process instruction sheet is created or maintained and how the control recipe and destination works.
if I want to start with PI sheet and control recipe in my organisation , how do I go ahead with configuration as well as process.
    thnx-rgds
    Amitabh

    Hi,
In control recipe destination the destination type must be browser based.Another is Abap based generally it is using.
So select that recipe destination, select phase & go in deatil u will find INSTR.READ1, READ2,SIGN which can used as a instruction.
There are two types 1:process sheet 2: remote fuction call (RFC)
Process sheet is used for giving instructions to line operator & also entering data during reaction etc per period.
For INSTR- select it give instruction for that particular phase.
READ1 - In which we are one column is available where we can enter 1 value by line opearator
READ2- Here 4 columns are available u can use it as date, time, temp, total etc. as per your requirement.
SIGN- Here u can use it as a to identify who entered the value.Systen will ask for pass word after entering ID
After creation & releasing  process order  create contriol recipe.
Thern go for T code- CO 53 - send control recipe(control recipe monitor)
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/f3/6ee4117aed11d2a5fe0060087d1a6b/content.htm
CO60 - Operator will enter the values
    CO54 - send process messages
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_46c/helpdata/en/ac/6a101268ce11d2a67600104b57eaa3/content.htm
    CO55- Check the report.
Check the above & reward if useful.

  • How to attach a Process order to a PI-Sheet?

    Hello SAP Experts,
I've configured a Browser-based PI-Sheet using T.Code O12C. At that time, I've clicked the various input and output parameters like the material withdrawn, UOM, etc. for the GI.
Thereafter, I'm using transaction CO53 to send the process instructions for a particular process order and to view the PI-Sheet thus generated, we are using the transaction CO60.
Now I would like to know at which step of this configuration the process order is attached to the PI sheet? Actually, in the last step of O12C, there is a "COPY" button. What is the utility of that button?
Moreover, when I'm trying to select more than 1 Instruction category e.g. Goods Issue, Confirmation and Goods Receipt (say) in O12C, then system is giving warning "Select only ONE entry".
So, my question is:- can't we attach all my requirement related to GI,GR and confirmation in ONE SINGLE PI-SHEET, as my company is requiring for that.
    SAP Gurus, please give inputs.
    Thanks and regards,
    Kaushik.

    Hy Kaushik,
Your question is not clear , but still I am trying to resolve it upto my understanding.
    - First of all PI catagory which you have created is link with Process order via Master Recipe. You have to attached PI catagory in Master recipe to the relavent phases and also to the Conrol Recipe destination
    - How many control recipe genrates for one Process order is depends on Number of Control Recipe destination you have used in your master recipe.
    - So if you want to do GR/GR and Confirmation thorugh One PI sheet then obviously you have to assigne all  that relavent PI catagories under one Control Recipe Destination.
    - Copy button is help you to create new PI catagory by copying any existing PI catagory.
    Transaction Codes:-
Cretae Control Recipe Destination is O10C
    Create Process Instruction Catagory O12C
    Cretae Process Massgae Catagory O13C
    Control Recipe Monitor CO53
    Maintain PI Sheet CO55
    Find PI Sheet CO60
    Message Monitor CO54
Pls revert back if requird further help.

  • Error while creating process instruction sheet in COR2

While creating Process instruction sheet, the following error is occuring. Please guide me to resolve the issue.
Define variable QTYPRODUCED for default value
    Message no. CPOC110
    Diagnosis
In the process instruction, variable QTYPRODUCED is defined for the value that you want the system to propose when data is entered in the PI sheet. This value does, however, not exist because it has not yet been defined as a variable.
If you want to use a variable in a process instruction, however, you must first have defined it in a preceding process instruction or in the same process instruction.
    Procedure
Define variable QTYPRODUCED in one of the preceding process instructions or in the same process instruction.
    Define Variable
    Regards
    Kumar

    1.  Assign characteristic PPPI_VARIABLE to the process instruction before the message characteristic to which the variable is to refer
    2.  Assign the required variable name to characteristic PPPI_VARIABLE.

    Best Regards,

    Hi...
i could not find the table for the relationship u r looking for... but i would suggest the following...
Go to SE16.. press F4 in the table list...go to the application help... their you will find tables for each module... even for PP you will find table specific to process industry... this you can search ur own what can be relevant for ur requirement... finally u can use SAP query to join some table to the get the information u want....
Try this...hopw it should work for u...

  • Control recipe destination not available in Process order

    Hi PP-PI Gurus,
When i am sending the process maessages to destinations,i am getting the error"No control receipe destination available in process order".
When we create master recipe using X-steps, there is no option to enter comtrol recipe destination. Infact we asssign the destination in X-step tree.
When the control recipe is created for a process order using x-steps, the operations overview will not have the control recipe destination.
When the status of the control recipe is sent to destination(PI02),the system throws the above error.
Any help on  how to resolve this error.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mani

    Hi Dhavel,
Whether it is PI_CRST or PI_CRST2 i am getting the same error message.
When i am working with Conventional Characterestics based process instructions in my recipe, everything is working fine.
When i use X-steps instead of process instructions in master recipe to create the control recipe, i am facing this error.
So it is clear that , when we are using Execution steps(X-steps) to create PI sheet, there needs some extra settings.
Any body working with X-steps in process order ,request your help please to resolve this issue.
    Mani.

  • Attaching Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in Process Order

    Hi All,
How "Standard Operating Procedure" sheet attached into each and every process order, and also we have to restrict the release of process order which doesn't have this SOP attachment? Each and every in-house material has SOP with huge characteristic & Parameter data. How come achieve this, what is the best practice/procedure? Is this maintain through PI sheet or any other procedure along with PI sheet? Please suggest.
    Thanks

    Hi Anupam sharma,
Thanks for your reply. Can we use the document creation (CV01N) functionality without implementing DMS? Our requirement is each and every in-house produced material having SOP sheet which is contain lot of parameters as well as having instruction (long text). We are currently maintain as an excel sheet. We have to attach each file against each material and it should be attached with PI sheet. Let us know the possibility, 2 cases we have planned to try,
    1. No input parameter value, all are having static value and instruction (attached with each and every process order as an PI sheet)
    2. Need to input value for some of the parameters along with some instruction steps (Long text)
How the below functionality will help us to meet the requirement?
Displaying of Documents From Document Management System - Process Management (PP-PI-PMA) - SAP Library
How to attach a file against each and every material, where these file will stored? Please suggest us with some more information
    Thanks
