    What are patterns in BPM

    Hi
    BPM Patterns are designed by SAP by considering the frequent requirement.these patterns can be reused in the similar requirement rather than the developer designing it from the scratch....and you can find the patterns under SAP BASIS Software Component...

    Soudcard: MOTU 828, M-Audio ozonic, internal speaker
    Midi: Korg nanoPad, Roland Fantom, m-audio Ozonic,
    I invesigate and i found out this:
    1)
    When open MainStage and automaticaly load Concert, pres midi key - no sound
    Then I close just concert not MainStage, open recent concert (same), press midi key - seq playing, soud works
    2)
    Switch of automatic loading last opened Concert, quit and start MainStage, open Concert manualy and no sound.
    Close concert, open again, soud works
    3)
    Switch automatic concert loading on, open MainStage - no sound
    Open preferences, audio / change buffer size, hit applay - sound works
    4)
    Setup previous buffer size, change routing to buffer
    Restart MainStage, no sound, change routing back to output - no sound
    Change audio driver to System Setting - sound works - system setting goes to same soundcard
    Restart MainStage - no sound
    Change system sound output to Internal Speaker - no sound
    Change system sound output to soundcard - sound works
    5)
    Preferences - change audio to System settings, switch off I/O Safety Buffer - below Buffer Size setting
    Restart Mainstage - SOUND WORKS
    Restart MainStage again - SOUD WORKS

  • Monitor Integration process log in BPM

    Hi
    I am practising the following BPM
    /people/krishna.moorthyp/blog/2005/06/09/walkthrough-with-bpm
    and I wanted to know how to monitor integration process log in BPM.
    To monitor Integration process I logged, into transaction SXMB_MONI_BPE ->Process Selection->Selected corresponding integration process (in Service Field) - and Clicked Execute as suggested in the blog
    But I get the message work item doesn't exist ??
    What do I need to do in this case ??
    Thanks,
    Kiran

    SAKHARDANDE ,
    Go to sxmb_moni-->Monitor for processed xml message --> In the view box there is standard and process. Select Process for checking the messages of BPM.
    Else as in the weblog mentioned go to SXMB_MONI_BPE ->Process Selection->Select corresponding integration process (in Service Field) ->Execute->Select work item. Select your service which you have used in ID.
    If you dont find anything then first see whether you see your message in sxmb_moni  or not? If not then check your file sender communicaiton channel in adapter monitoring.

  • Partner interface process (pip) in BPM

    can you give an idea abt partner interface process (pip) in BPM???

    I think PIP is not related to ccBPm (XI related)
    Rather, it is related to business process for trading partners.
    See this

  • Calling BPM Sub Process from another BPM Process - Stuck at Sub Process

    Hi
    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6, BPM 11.1.1.6, WLS 10.3.6
    I am trying to Call a BPM Process from another BPM Process. Both the processes are defined in the same BPM Project.
    Both the Processes have 'None' Start and End activities.
    The 'Parent Process' has a 'Call Activity' which calls the 'Sub Process'.
    The Sub process takes a parameter of payload object as input and returns output (also same payload object)
    I have passed the payload object from parent to sub process in the 'Data Associations'.
    The Start and End activities in the sub process also have the data associations set where I am passing the payload object from parent process to child process.
    When I run the process and see the Enterprise Manager console - Audit Trail / Flow tabs,
    Flow Tab - The progress of the process is showing only till the Calling of the sub process in the Parent Process. It does not show the Sub Process.
    Audit Trail Tab - Shows that the Sub Process is called but has not reached to the End of the Sub process.
    The audit trail does not have links to the sub process activities.
    I cannot see any exceptions as well in the audit trail.
    How can I find out why the process is stuck? Or what is going on in the process?
    Please let me know if my explanation is not clear?
    Thanks for any help
    Regards
    Sameer

    Thanks for replying.
    I have another Sub Process with Start and End events as Message Events and used Send Task and Receive Task (Implementation : Process Call) in the Main process to invoke the sub process asynchronously.
    Then, the Sub Process is shown in the 'Flow Trace' as child of the main process.
    In this particular one, I used 'Call Activity' to call the sub process.
    So the Audit trail is showing the sub process as a child.
    But what I was trying to say is that the audit trail did not have links to the entries in the 'Event' column (in Enterprice manager - instance window). (like Instance entered activity, Instance left activity etc).
    I was intending to use these links to see the payload information and try to debug if there is any problem with the code.
    The actual problem I was trying to say in the post is that, even after the user responds to the activity (User Task - Approval) in the Sub process,
    the audit trail is not proceeding further.
    In the Sub process definition, after the user task, there is End with none implementation.
    Hope it is clear now.
    Thanks and Regards

  • How to invoke an other BPM asynchronous process from the BPM process

    Do anyone know how to invoke other asynchronous process from the BPM process without using the Web Service URL?

    Try using a Service task implemented as a Process Call. Then you select the process you want to call, set the associations or transformation and deploy it to test.
    I hope it works for you.

  • Question on Processing Pattern Sessions - not behaving as expected

    I have implemented some schedulable jobs in my extensible cache configuration that are scheduled at a fixed rate and then use the processing pattern to submit work to the grid.
    However I am seeing some unexpected behaviour which does not seem to make much sense. My jobs are submitted to the grid as follows (some code edited for brevity):-
    @Override
         public void run() {
              ProcessingSession session = null;
              try {
              session = new DefaultProcessingSession(StringBasedIdentifier.newInstance("MySession"));
              SubmissionOutcome outcome = session.submit(this, new DefaultSubmissionConfiguration(),
         new TaskSubmissionCallback(taskName));
              catch (Throwable t) {
                   log.error("Failed to Submit Process Pattern Task [{}] For Session [{}]", taskName, nodeName);
              finally {
                   try {
                        session.shutdown();
                   catch (Throwable t) {
                        log.error("[{}] Failed to Shutdown Processing Pattern Session [{}]", this, nodeName);
    My tasks get scheduled and then submiited and executed in the grid. I am currently only running a single node through eclipse for testing.
    But after the task has excecuted my TaskSubmissionCallback class gets invoked and the onDone() gets called and returns my result:-
    public void onDone(Object oResult)
         log.debug("[{}] Submission done - Result = [{}]", m_sTaskName, oResult);
    So all is working. However a couple of milliseconds later I see the following in the logs:-
    2012-04-03 17:15:50.407/19.274 Oracle Coherence GE 3.6.0.4 <Error> (thread=DistributedCache:DistributedServiceForProcessingPatternSubmissionResults:EventDispatcher, member=1): The following exception was caught by the event dispatcher:

    as the submitter should not need to hang around until the job completes (as that is surely the point of the Callback handler). I can of course code around this by having a Singleton
    class which keeps the Processing session alive constantly and stores this in the Environment. But the question is why ???
    This is running Coherence 3.6 and coherence-processingpattern-1.3.423238.
    Would be grateful to know if this is a bug or my understanding is somehow confused !
    TIA
    Martin

    I agree, believe me. However, one goes to war with the army one has, not the army one wishes one had, to quote somebody who, um... okay, failed miserably. Hmm...
    It's a flat-rate project, so the troubleshooting isn't costing them any more, and their IT department wags the rest of the company and won't buy stuff. Eventually they'll have CS4 and these problems will go away, but probably not until next year.
    If I were willing to give up the CS4-specific features (which I'm not; maximum efficiency in long documents is the core competency of my business), working in CS3 still wouldn't be an option because I don't own it. I'm also not likely to be able to talk the client into the idea that I'll take care of the last-minute tweaks instead of their having to do it all.
    (Keep in mind, too, that there's more behind the scenes than I'm necessarily sharing in a quick forum post. If I can keep the typesetting from shifting in the .inx for now, I'm good.)
    I filed that bug report--thanks!
    UPDATE: Client says it looks right. Off we go...

  • Processing Pattern task runs multiple times

    I am trying out the processing pattern with some long running tasks.
    The tasks are submitted by the first node in the cluster to start up. I seem to see multiple copies of my task running as I start up other nodes in the cluster. It would appear that as the new nodes join the cluster Coherence migrates the submission entry to another node and this causes the task to start again on that node. This is OK, but it does not stop the task that was already running on the original node.
    Am I doing something wrong or is the because my tasks are long running (actually they never end).
    JK

    Jonathan,
    With the current implementation you do get a rescheduling of the Task, but if it is already owned by another node it should not actually start executing (checked by the TaskRunner). This behavior doesn't really work reliably in both the failover and repartioning cases why we are revamping this in the next release. The JIRA for the revamping of this behavior is INC-262.
    Thanks,
    Christer

  • Undeploy some processes of a BPM project

    There are about a hundred of processes in a BPM project (BPM studio 10.3.0). These processes are not processes and subProcesses.
    This project has been deployed to BPM standalone 10g.
    Can I just undeploy and delete some of the processes (not all of them) of this BPM project?

    Yes you can partially undeploy a project from BPM Administrator console.
    - Login to the BPM administrator console
    - select projects from the left side menu
    - Click on "completely deployed" link againt the project you want to undeploy.
    - click on the "Modify" button at the bottom of the page
    - select undeploy only for the processes you want to undeploy and retain the other processes active.
    - submit and come back to the projects screen. You will see that the project as 'Partially deployed"

  • Deploy process in Oracle BPM Enterprise.

    Hi,
    I have a process which i have developed in Oracle BPM studio. Now I need to deploy this process in Oracle BPm Enterprise version. The other problem is how to access this process from enterprise. Where all the roles and participants maintained. I have oracle BPM enterprise integrated with Weblogic server.
    Please help!!

    Download the "Oracle BPM Enterprise Administration Guide" PDF from http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E13154_01/bpm/docs65/index.html.
    Take a look at pages 10 - 17. Page 17 describes how to create a new role in Enterprise.
    Look at page 22. This describes how you can match the abstract roles (roles created in Studio) to real roles (roles created in Enterprise described on page 17).
    In development, I'll usually just select the "Smart Publish" option as I'm publishing the project. This automatically creates a new real role on Enterprise and automatically matches it to the abstract role created in Studio while you're publishing your project.
