Hi, there!
Recently we have a problem with our Lookout 6.0.2(build1), everytime we start our process file we are getting a message,
"Process Registration Failed". We donot get this problem before, nothing was change to our system. What seems to be the problem? Thanks, your help is highly appreciated.

My iMessage application stopped working. iMessage is apparently having trouble logging in using my apple_id. It works fine with my iPhone and iPad. When attempting to login to iMessage using my apple_id I get the following message "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." If I try to log into the appstore, I simple get "An unknown error has occurred" Any suggestions?
Hi, see if it's one of these...

Post subject: NSURLErrorDomain error -1100 in OS X 10.8
If you check for software updates using the App Store in OS X 10.8 and get "NSURLErrorDomain error -1100" the problem may be with your Software Update preferences. This is particularly likely if you were using a custom Apple Software Update server. To solve the problem, quit the App Store, move the following two files (if present) to the trash, restart, and only then rerun App Store updates:
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist
/Library/Preferences/com.apple.SoftwareUpdate.plist.lockfile

I was recently trying to upgrade to mountain lion through the app store. I have unreliable Internet from a cable company whom I will not name, but we all know who they are. My Internet dropped while downloading the upgrade. Once I went through the notorious unplug the modem/router and plugged it back in to gain Internet connectivity again, I could not resume. No matter what I did, the app store kept displaying "an error occurred." I am hoping that those with the same issue read this first to save them hours of skimming through the Internet to find a solution. Here are the steps to take:
1. Make sure you have reestablished Internet connection
2. Chances are you got frustrated when you tried to resume/unpause the download and clicked the "X" to the left. If so, select the "Store" drop-down menu from the App Store and select "View My Account." There should be an option to unhide your purchase. You know what to do.
3. There is also an option to reset all warnings for buying and downloading under "View My Account." Do this, click "Done," sign out of the App Store and quit the App Store.
4. Open the Preferences in safari and select Privacy. Select "Remove All Website Data." Just do it.
5. Launch the app store and sign in.
6. Now, if you "Check for Unfinished Downloads" everything works peachy.
I hope this helps. Not much I can do for your Internet connection though.

Cisco ip phone 9971 registration failed with CME 8.5
Good day!
I have voice bundle 2951 with 15.1.3(T) IOS version and a few 9971 ip phones. In addition to it I've downloaded current SIP firmware for these phones (sip9971.9-2-1) and configured my CME as follows:
voice register global mode cme source-address 192.168.2.254 port 5060 max-dn 10 max-pool 5 load 9971 sip9971.9-2-1 timezone 13 create profile sync 0069043299436028!voice register dn 1 number 104 name 9971 SIP Phone label 104 mwi!voice register pool 1 id mac 688D.ABA4.A88B type 9971 number 1 104 presence call-list dtmf-relay rtp-nte codec g711ulaw no vadvoice service voip sip
registrar server expires max 3600 min 120
All SIP firmware files were uploaded to tftp server on CME and shared then:
tftp-server flash:kern9971.9-2-1.sebn tftp-server flash:rootfs9971.9-2-1.sebn tftp-server flash:sboot9971.031610R1-9-2-1.sebn tftp-server flash:sip9971.9-2-1.loads tftp-server flash:skern9971.022809R2-9-2-1.sebn tftp-server flash:dkern9971.100609R2-9-2-1.sebn tftp-server system:cme/sipphone
During the boot process all ip settings including option 150 were successfully updated by the phone:
ip dhcp pool voip_pool network 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 default-router 192.168.2.254 option 150 ip 192.168.2.254
But when the phone tries to get files on the CME it fails. The ouput of debug tftp events command shows that there is no such configuration file on tftp:

So, i see this file on CME router in system/cme/sipphones direcotory:
Directory of system:cme/sipphone/ 747 -rw- 825 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 featurePolicyDefault.xml 744 -rw- 1 Jul 27 2011 15:59:49 +00:00 OS79XX.TXT 749 -rw- 3761 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 SEP688DABA4A88B.cnf.xml 742 -rw- 1948 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 SIPDefault.cnf 745 -rw- 4376 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 softkeyDefault.xml 746 -rw- 4342 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 softkeyDefault_kpml.xml 743 -rw- 69 Jul 27 2011 16:10:04 +00:00 syncinfo.xml
So, i dont quiet understand why the registration process was failed. Could anyone tell me if there are restrictions on the SIP firmware and IOS version in this case?
Thank you.linuxchild,
thank you. i checked this out, but i think it doesnt matter whether tftp-path statement is set or not in this case.
Configuration files for 9971 are located in system:cme/sipphone directory by default.
While I have this statement in tftp-server configuration, it should get this file from the server.
tftp-server system:cme/sipphone
i tried to configure it accordiing to this example.
Now i can see xml file in flash direcory:
30 1948 Aug 1 2011 09:48:52 +00:00 SIPDefault.cnf
31 69 Aug 1 2011 09:48:52 +00:00 syncinfo.xml

35 825 Aug 1 2011 09:48:54 +00:00 featurePolicyDefault.xml
But i cant still get this file from tftp and have the same error:
*Aug 1 09:50:27.385: TFTP: read request from host 192.168.2.5(49157) via GigabitEthernet0/1
*Aug 1 09:50:27.385: TFTP: Looking for SEP68BDABA4A88B.cnf.xml
*Aug 1 09:50:27.385: TFTP: Sending error 1 No such file
Has anyone had such problem? -
priority:

i also have tried downloading "FaceTap" application to get facetime on my ipad and failed too. i thought i failed because i couldnt download latest 6.0 iOS or later. i downloaded latest software update for iOS but was 5.8 I thinkWait until Apple fix it. the same application registers fine in 10.1.4, and another 10.1.2.0.2 instance that we have...
any clue why am hitting this issue ? ( db is fine, tablespaces are fine too )modify the first CLASSPATH in $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/sso/bin/ssoreg.sh and add '$ORACLE_HOME/jdbc/lib/orai18n.jar' after the entry for ojdbc14.jar,
this resolved my issue above -
Using Alert Framework to send email notifications when Process Chain fails
Hi Everyone,
I've configured ALRTCATDEF in Solution Manager, selected the alerting option for Process Chains in - RSPC > Attributes > Alerting, but it looks like whenever any process chain fails, an email notification will be sent to the same recipients.
Is there anyway to have an ALRCATDEF - alert category for different process chains, so that different recipients receive notifications for different Process Chains.
Thanks,
KenInteresting....I was actually hoping for different recipients for different process chains.
E.g. for our
CRM process chain - Support Team 1
FI process chain - Support Team 2
and so on and so on.
I think the only way may be creating a custom process type and implementing a class for this process type that calls function SALRT_CREATE_API. Then adding this process type to the process chain, with a different variant for each.
However if anyone knows a way to do this in a SAP standard way using the Alert Framework, that would be great.
Cheers,
Ken -

Anybody have any idea where the error is ?
Any help will be appreciated
AlexYou are right !!
The problem is inside the report generated by Oracle Reports
The XML code, which I retrieve running the report request is the following:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="&Encoding"?>
- <!-- Generated by Oracle Reports version 6.0.8.20.2
-->
- <MODULE1>
- <LIST_G_MANAGER_NO>
- <G_MANAGER_NO>
<MANAGER_NO>1000</MANAGER_NO>
<MANAGER_NAME>Anil Passi</MANAGER_NAME>
</G_MANAGER_NO>
- <G_MANAGER_NO>
<MANAGER_NO>1001</MANAGER_NO>
<MANAGER_NAME>Martin</MANAGER_NAME>
</G_MANAGER_NO>
</LIST_G_MANAGER_NO>
</MODULE1>
and the problem is the "&" !!!
So, inside Oracle Reports, when I try to generate the XML code from a preexisting report, the encoding variable is not set.
Now, I'm trying to understand how to set it, but I didn't find nothing....
Somebody knows where can I find a Report's configuration file in order to set this "encoding" ?
Thanks

I'm having trouble logging into facetime. We do not have a new account. I've changed the password and still cannot get in. The message that pops up is "the server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." I want to talk to my granddaughter but can't. Can someone help me. Thanks
I had to same problem. I found forums about adding the DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in System Preferences - Networks I did that and it still didnt work. Just found another forum saying to go into System Preferences - Time and Date and check the Set time and Date automatically. And it worked for me. Hope it works for you too.

When ever i try logging into FaceTime or iMessage on my Macpro i get The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later. what could be the problem..N.B I'm located in trinidad in the caribbean message
Hi,
As the Other threads suggests I would check the Date and Time settings on the Mac and compare that with the settings in the router.
Messages (and iChat before that) send Time stamped info to Login and to send IMs.
Obviously most people set their Macs to their Time Zone and nearest city/town.
What people sometimes forget is that their Router/Modem device(s) have to be set correctly as well.
EDIT
Also Add a Public DNS server to your System Preferences> Network > Advanced Button > DNS tab
A Google one such as 8.8.4.4 or 8.8.8.8 seem to work well for most people

Cisco ip phone 9971 registration failed with CME 8.6 on WAN
Dear Sir
Subject: Cisco ip
phone 9971 registration failed
with CME 8.6 on WAN
I have a WAN simulation with one Cisco2811 router one Cisco1841 router (connected with fast Ethernet interface) plus one layer 2 switch.
I upgraded the 2811 IOS to 15.4M and installed CME8.6, when we tried to add 9971 sip phone If the traffic goes throw LAN (Same subnet- directly from switch to 2811) everything is fine and the SIP phone (9971) added with no problem but when I change the subnet and traffic goes throw WAN
( from 1841 routed to 2811 with default route) my phone didn't register.
It will be great if anybody could help!!
If you can solve my problem, I will be happy to compensate.Try binding SIP to an interface on which Phone can reach (Use "voice service voip" "sip" and then bind)

When I try to compile a Labview fpga project on our new system, it fails with the following error summary (the full Xilinx log is attached):
LabVIEW FPGA: The compilation failed due to a xilinx error.
Details:

I tried to compile it before installing any patch, after installing the DRAM patch, and after installing both patches and always got a Xilinx error after ~10 minutes compile time. The error summary shown above and the attached Xilinx log are from compiling with both patches installed.
It compiled correctly on our older system:
Hardware:
NI PXIe-1082 Chassis
NI PXIe-8133 Embedded controller
NI PXIe-7965R FPGA FlexRIO FPGA module
NI 5761 250 MS/s 14 bit Analog input digitizer
Installed software:
Labview2011version10.0.0
LabviewFPGAmodule10.0.0
FPGAcompilationtools (Xilinx11_5)
NIFlexRIOAdapterModuleSupport2.1.0
NI-RIO3.5.1 (FlexRIO1.5.0)
XilinxDRAMcompilationbugfixpatchfromNIarticleid5E4FNCDP
Any help / suggestions greatly appreciated,
Fabrizio

XilinxLog.txt 1482 KBHi Torpedotown,
Can you tell me what version of FlexRIO Adapter Module Support you are using?
The 5761 Low Speed CLIP has a constraint that doesn't work properly with some versions of the compilation tools. In order to solve this you should be able to upgrade to our latest version of FAM support, or go change the constraint manually.
For the latest version of FAM support, go to http://ni.com/info and enter code "famsoftware"
If you've modified constraint files before and feel comfortable doing it yourself, let me know and I can provide you with the details on how to do that.
Thanks!
