Process won't get started until 3 clicks

I have a pl/sql process attached to a button. But when I click on the button , the process
won't get started until 3 clicks.
Where can I check in the application, to clear this problem.

Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)
Troubleshoot your USB connection. If the issue persists, out-of-date or incorrectly configured third-party security software may be causing this issue. Please follow Troubleshooting security software issues. .
Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.
Enter DFU mode without home button or Power Button | technoNix
Then try restoring on another computer.
Last, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

Try deleting the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that is in your User/Library/Preferences folder. Also download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administrator login name, long or short, in the owner and group sections. You can either type in the path to the folder or just drag the folder into that field.
How many iPhoto Library folders do you have in the Pictures folder? if more than one find out which contains your photos and move the other(s) to the Desktop.
Now launch iPhoto with the Option depressed and, when asked, opt to locate an existing library. Navigate to the iPhoto Library folder remaining in the Pictures folder and select it. It should open.

Clicking the back button now causes a drop down of past sites to show up in addition to moving back a page. It won't go away until clicking somewhereIrritating

Whenever I click the back button, the browser will go back a page and also open a drop down of past pages. This drop down won't go away until I click somewhere. It is irritating and it never used to have this functionality. In fact, my laptop at work does not do this. I am using 37.0.2. Is there an option somewhere to disable this? I don't mind having the drop down, but not EVERY time I click back.

Today, two other users reported issues with the back-forward history list dropping down if they hovered the mouse pointer over the back or forward button -- without clicking -- and then moved the pointer downwards. One user was on a touchpad, I don't know about the other user. Are you experiencing anything like that?

Since the local chain is not started, it seems that that is not active.
Goto local chain which didn't get started, check for jobs by context menus ( show all jobs) and if you find a job in released state that means chain is active and it should run, but if you don't find any chain in the released state that means you need to activate and schedule 4th local chain again.
Once you do that, then you need to activate the final parent chain also.
Please try to do this and then if you need you can start the local chain directly by repeating the process from there itself.

This just happened to mine also. I just bought a MBP 13.3" and have had nothing but troubles with it. IMovie won't save my adjustments and there is no way to save manually, it took me almost 10 days to get my lion upgrade, and now this after I install it? Why did I pay so much money for a laptop that doesn't work properly? I've spent more time on the apple forums then I ever did on any windows forums.

Sounds like you have a link hijacker installed which McAfee doesn't find for some strange reason. What I suggest you do is to go to [http://www.malwarebytes.org/ Malwarebytes] and download the free version of the program. Then after you install it, update it via the link (tab) you'll see at the top and finally run a complete system scan.
It's possible McAfee didn't ask you to disable Windows System Restore. That Microsoft utility which is part of the operating system makes backups of all executables including malware unfortunately.
To be sure, I'd advise you to disable it temporarily by right clicking My Computer, then go to Properties and click the System Restore tab. Then place a checkmark in the box which says "Disable System Restore on all drives" and then click Apply/OK. This will delete all your Restore points, but it's the only way to remove malware which Windows is inadvertently making backups of.
It would be advisable to do that before you run a scan.
Once the Malwarebytes scan terminates and has quarantined anything it finds, you can re-enable System Restore again by removing the checkmark.

How do I find how a particular dameon is getting started?

This is a new question prompted by discovering a Canon Scanner process that is getting started on my MacPro.
To summarize, I have a Canon Pixma MP800R All-In-One printer. Everything has been working fine but today I've gotten 4 kernel panics in a row. From the dumps, all the panics are related to a daemon called CIJScannerRegist. I have a MacBookPro and a MacPro. Both running SL 10.6.2, both with the same Canon drivers installed. The MacPro on boot however is starting two additional process that I do not see on the MacBookPro. These are:

If I kill processes 257 I don't get kernel panics. I've been killing them both as my MBP does not show them so I do not believe either of them are necessary. My question is, is there a log file or boot file somewhere that I can see what may be causing these processes to start or is there some other place I can look greping the names so I can stop these processes from starting. I can do it by hand but that is a pain and a hack. I can't say why these are running as my laptop does not show them. Very strange indeed.

There are three (ok, six--ok, seven--ok, maybe more) places where startup items can be loaded. The login items that you checked is one. The other six I know about are in the Library folders. In both your own Library and in the main all users /Library, there are folders called LaunchAgents, LaunchDaemons, and StartupItems. StartupItems is the old method and is being deprecated, but may still have something in it. In that folder, there will be folders that are named for the process they are starting. In the other two folders, there are just plist files named in a reverse dns convention, like com.canon.scanregister.plist. Remove them from the folder and log out/in.
Or, for a launchAgent or Daemon, you can mark them disabled with this terminal command:sudo launchctl unload -w path.and.name.of.plistsudo temporarily elevates your privileges to run the command and will ask for your admin password. The -w tells launchctl to write the disabled flag in the plist so it won't load again. With this method, you won't need to log out/in. In terminal, you can just type/copy the first part up to the space after the command, and then drag the plist to the Terminal window and it will copy the path to the file into the command line.
If it is not in any of those folders, I'm not sure where it might be hiding.

i have successfully upgrade oracle database from 10.2.0.2.0 to 11.2.0.2.0 through dbua but after upgrade i have copied listener and tnsname from realese to and new release then i follow these step
Stop listener it get stop perfectly
start listener it won't get start it gives ora-12560 error
i have checked and change the file at /usr/sap/sid/sys/profile/oracle also
if there is anything to do with control file let me know

Computer won't get past grey start up screen after install

Okay - I made a stupid mistake. I started the installation process - it was taking a very long time so I decided to quit and free up some more space before trying again. When I quit it wouldn't let me go back to my old version - I think I was on 10.3.9. So I installed 10.5 - and it said it installed successfully. I restarted and the computer won't get past the gray screen. I let it go for 30 minute the first time, 15 the second time, and about an hour the third time. Won't go any futher. Any ideas?

same thing happened to me (you need to read all the posts as someone will have had the exact problem as you).
any way,
1. re-installl 10.5 from your leopard disk. (put disk in restart holding c key down etc). do not install OS just yet.
2. run disk utility (it does not hurt-click on options button)- repair both disk and permissions
3. run 10.5 installer (archive)
4. download 10.5.2 combo from apple (that is if you can easily find it!)
5. run that install
6 it will restart two or so times
7. total time is 20 mins or so. most of that is in repairs form #2.

BB Link won't move past 1st "getting started" screen

BB Link installed on Win 7, opens but won't let me past page 1 of "getting Started" screen. The "next" button is inactive. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice now with same results. Also computer can't find all drivers for my Z10. Any ideas?

Do you know if UAC is enabled withing Windows when you connect your device?
If so, try disabling it, then connecting the device again and see if the prompt to install then appears and allows the process to complete.

There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried until it's resolved. Some may not be applicable.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article, and also this one, if applicable.
2. Open the Bluetooth preference pane in System Preferences and check for unknown or forgotten input devices. Disconnect any USB input devices that you aren't using.
3. Boot in safe mode and test, preferably without launching any third-party applications. If you don't have the problem in safe mode, but it comes back when you reboot as usual, stop here and post your results. If you can't boot in safe mode, do the same. If you booted in safe mode and there was no change, go on to the next step.
4. Reset the System Management Controller.
5. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
6. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced without delay.
7. Press down all four corners of the trackpad at once and release. If there's any effect, it's likely to be temporary, and the unit needs to be serviced or replaced.
8. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built-in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.

My Macbook won't get past the start up screen

Hey everyone
I have a Macbook that's about 3 years old. I did an software update yesterday and since doing it the computer won't get past the start up screen. There's just the Apple logo and the rolling ball thing. It's been stuck there for around 30mins and nothing changes. I'm not really sure what has happened but I was wondering if there is any way I can fix it.

I don't have a back up but I'm not to worried about that as it's my traveling computer and I only use it for the web and some word processing.
I don't have the disks with me right now as I'm away from home. I'm not sure what I had updated, I think there was a lot because I hadn't don't it in a long time.
If I can start it in safe mode what should I do?
