Processflow Sequence getting scramble

Hi,
We are using OWB 11g R2 - 11.2.0.2 Version.
We created one processflow in the following sequence:
MAP A ----> MAP B ----> MAP C ----> MAP D ----> MAP E ----> MAP F ----->G ----->END
We scheduled the above process flow.
At the time of executing process flow it is not runining in the above sequence. it is scrambling like this..
MAP C ---> MAP A ---> MAP E
I would like to see the process flow executes as fllows:
MAP A
MAP B
MAP C
MAP D
MAP E
MAP F
MAP G
How can we fix the above issue?
Regards,
Ava

Sounds as though the transitions may be messed up.
Right-click on each mapping in the process flow and check the Outgoing Transitions tab, each transition should have a unique order i.e. 0, 1 ,2, 3.
If any transitions have a duplicate order e.g. 0, 1, 1, 2 then you'll need to delete the transitions and recreate them.
Cheers

  • System audio gets scrambled please help.

    Hi,
    I was rendering one sequence and exported using quicktime (no quicktime conversion settings), as I needed to add the chapter marker on it.
    I exported it as reference file (Full file gave me problem with the fade out at the end of the video).
    When playing it back on quicktime, I heard the audio produced delay and then started to get scrambled, like the end of Mr. Self Destruct from Nine Inch Nails. check on youtube to hear what i mean.
    but my sequence exported from final cut was only composed by a stereo soft music and spoken stereo track.
    I did lots of cuts on this footage works fairly well on the video side (ACVHD 1080p) but both spoken audio (still in mov) and aiff file need rendering. I did only one fade in fade out effects, music audio has -8 decibel.
    Those are all the changes i did.
    Scratches files are on usb external hard drive. big one. User Settings is AVCHD 30fps (29,97).
    Audio is 48khz 24bit.
    But among all the sequences (15) I exported just this one gave me problem. It is even one of the shortest ones.
    Another problem is that when I play the sequence on Final Cut the audio stops at the same point all the time
    (1 minute and 10), and also this time the whole system audio (itunes quicktime volume up and down) starts popping and mute completely until I reboot ! And then again when I play it from the timeline same problem,
    although I do some modifications to re render the audio.
    I uninstalled fcp and reinstalled it.
    I trashed the preferences.
    I removed audio hijack and the hijack.ape from input managers folder.
    I reset the Pram.
    I set all the settings for low/faster performance.
    I closed all the application to free Ram.
    I trashed all the render files on all locations (internal HD and external).
    I moved out Audio and video Plugins, to make fcp light.
    But no luck.
    Please note that at the time of this problem happened, I wasn't installing nor changing anything,
    As I was busy in exporting the whole 15 sequences from the same project. I joined some sequences but not this problematic one.
    I am on a macbook aluminum 2.0 4 gb ram.
    My External HD has 3 partions, 2 Mac and 1 Win Formatted.
    Privileges are ok.
    I looked throughout the forum but I couldn't see anything.
    thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the reply and tip. Can't remember what happened with fade out, I think simply didn't apply and it re looped the last frames.
    I "solved" the problem by making a new sequence and partially remaking it from scratch.
    Then i vaguely copied and pasted from old sequence as copying and paste the whole sequence content onto the new sequence didn't work either !
    However this popping noise already happened to me before.
    Then, when I was able to join all sequences on a sane quicktime mov, iDVD cut off the audio at one point, I re-exported the video_ts and again iDVD at the same point cut off the audio. I checked the quicktime mov tracks and everything was fine, I also started the iDVD project from scratch as when iDVD tells you that he can update the file for you, he then messes up all the time the Chapters as he simply can't handle this function (aka bug !). I mean it's been a nightmare, still is.
    However this iDVD bug is another topic, I would like to keep this post open as it the initial problem has no official solution yet. Could be also useful to somebody else, and also, I am very curious what's the cause, and if it can be fixed properly and faster. If it could happen to me again I don't want to play with timeline.
    Thanks again for your reply.

  • Appleworks Drawing & Painting: Color palettes *still* getting scrambled

    I have a problem when using Appleworks drawing files with painting frames.
    An Appleworks painting frame normally has two color palettes. One comes from the Drawing document, and this determines the background color of the painting frame. Anywhere that has no other color has this color. The other comes from the painting frame itself.
    When clicking into the painting frame, both of these can get scrambled, with unpredictable results. In some cases, although both the drawing document and the painting frame used the same [presentation] palette, and the background color and another color were supposed to be the same, one could switch to another color. I started resetting the background color of each painting frame to white [in the drawing document], and filling it with whatever color I needed [in the painting frame] which solved one of the problems.
    However, I'm still facing the annoying problem that the color palette gets scrambled. When I click into the Painting Frame, the color palette scrambles. If I start painting, it gets screwed up. If I switch the palette from presentation, to something else, back to presentation, that fixes it for the moment. If I click out of the painting frame, and then back into it, or click from one painting frame into another painting frame, the color palette scrambles again. I have to switch the palette twice each time I enter the frame.
    Is there any way to correct this problem?

    The earliest version of AppleWorks stable in OS X is 6.2.4. That you're using 6.2.2 could be a big part of the problem. Since AppleWorks was designated "end-of-life" it is difficult to find the updaters (especially the US/North American) on Apple's site. Here is the page with the links I have for the 6.2.9 updater. The page has a link to the North American updater in the upper right (the blue 15.8 MB) & links to other languages further down.
    AppleWorks 6.2.9 for Mac
    Whenever you do an update, it's a good idea to do two maintenance tasks, one for the system (Repair Permissions) and one for AppleWorks (delete preferences). (Thanks to Barry for this way to format this very common answer.)
    To Repair permissions, launch Disk Utility, found in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder, click on First Aid, then on Repair Permissions.
    To delete AppleWorks’ preference files, go to HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences. Find and delete the file com.apple.appleworks.plist. Find and open the folder AppleWorks in this Preferences folder, then delete all of the enclosed files (with the exception of the Button Bar Preferences if you have customized the Button Bars). AppleWorks will recreate the preference files as it needs them.

  • Photo order gets scrambled when merging albums

    I've created multiple albums with customized ordering of the photos. When I select all photos from album 2 and drag them onto album 1, their order becomes scrambled. If I drag the photos one by one then they append in order, but drag a group of pictures and they get scrambled. Any suggestions??
    Thanks!

    As a Test:
    Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
    Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?

  • Menu, Scroll Bar, Etc. Images Getting Scrambled

    First, the essentials:
    OS X 10.7.5 (11G63)
    MaBook 13-inch, Aluminum, Late 2008
    Memory: 8GB, 1333 MHz, DDR3
    Pictures describe the issue much better than words: http://imgur.com/a/OWwtQ
    As you can see from the above images, my control-click menus, scroll bars, etc. are getting scrambled.
    To me it looks like some image pointers are getting messed up. I happen to be running VirtualBox 4.1.1.18, which seems like it might be related, but I haven't been able to determine this for sure.
    My question is two-fold: first, has anyone encountered a similar issue?
    And, what are some recommendations for narrowing down the cause?

    I had the same issue and after some futzing around I realized its profile related and therefore based on some option. After resetting "gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.enabled" back to false in about:config and restarting ff the problem seems to have subsided.

  • Why do my folders get scrambled?

    My folders and their contents are spatially organized, exploiting the good ole desktop metaphor.  But when I copy or back up a folder, the icons often get  scrambled, so they appear in aphabetical order even in "icon view".  Why is this happening, and what can I do to prevent it?

    If the folder pane is open wide enough that the names should be visible, I would restart with add ons disabled to see if you have one causing problems. You can do this from the Help menu.
    If the pane is too narrow, hover the mouse over the right edge of the pane and when the cursor turns into a double headed arrow, left click and drag to the right to open it up.

  • Audio getting scrambled

    Twice in the past week with two different files I've experienced the following:
    I record audio for the e-learning.
    I save everything and double-check that the correct audio is on the correct slide.
    The audio gets "processed" somehow - generally as a part of closing the file (though today this happened as I attempted to save while I was troubleshooting).
    I re-open the file and the audio files are scrambled.  What I mean by this is all 3 of the following things are happening:
    the wrong audio is attached to all of the slides and it usually involves the same 4 or 5 recordings being reattached to various slides in the presentation
    looking at the files in the library there are multiple files with different names but the same recording (even though before I closed the files of the names I am looking at had different audio associated with them)
    some of my recorded audio is missing altogether (I'm assuming it somehow gets copied over by the repeated audio I mention above).
    I currently use Captivate 5.5.  I'm recording one slide at a time using the slide audio function.
    I'm able to recover a majority of the "good" audio from my files because I have Symantec backup on my laptop and I restore to a version from before I closed the file.
    All this rework is painful.  Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening and how to resolve it?
    Thank you for your time and attention.
    Amanda

    This sounds like your project has become corrupted in some way and the unique IDs for slides and audio files are getting scrambled in Captivate's internal tracking database.
    I would recommend you export your audio files out of the project, rename each file using Windows Explorer, start a brand new project file, and reimport the audio files to each new slide in the new project.
    If you've by any chance been working over a network LAN link or NOT working locally on project files stored on your own hard drive (I'm not saying you have), then please abandon this practice from now on.  It's a recipe for corrupted projects.

  • While gaming graphics get scrambled and Satellite A200-1j0 freezes

    Hi,
    I have a major graphics problem with my notebook. Its a Satellite A200-1j0 with HD 2600 running vista 32bit.
    When I run a game the graphics get scrambled and the nb freezes.
    I have been using the nb for casual gaming since i bought it (1 year ago) with no problems.
    But some days ago, a couple of games (hl2, far cry 2) started freezing my system rarely and at random times.
    Today, I updated the drivers from the Toshiba site and it got worse.
    It now happens in almost every game, and as soon as graphics appear after the loading screens.
    Windows run without problems though.
    Here are some photos of the notebook when the graphics get scrambled
    http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/rr237/doomlover_gr/DSC00103.jpg
    http://i487.photobucket.com/albums/rr237/doomlover_gr/DSC00104.jpg

    My first thought would be a faulty VGA Card, especially considering you are using the proper Toshiba Display Drivers.
    I would update the BIOS and see how that goes.
    Then reinstall Windows using the Recovery Disc to ensure its not a software problem (maybe DirectX is corrupted?).
    Otherwise, send it to an ASP for repairs.

    Hi LoboCatholic,
    I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are desscribing. I am not certain that this will address your specific issue, but if you are having photo organization issues in iOS 8 on your new iPhone 6, you may find the following article helpful:

  • Sequence execution all containing similar dataflows to database results in 1 sequence getting errors, all have TransactionOption=Supported

    I have 3 sequence Containers, all with TransactionOption = Supported. Each individual Sequence container contains a dataflow task that executes a script component to get data and write to output fields in table using OLE DB table Destination.
    All three Script Component sets up the data for the tables and has a preexecute, here is part of code in script component
       private System.String[] Transmissions;
        /// <summary>
        /// This method is called once, before rows begin to be processed in the data flow.
        /// You can remove this method if you don't need to do anything here.
        /// </summary>
        public override void PreExecute()
            base.PreExecute();
             * Add your code here
            this.Transmissions = this.ReadOnlyVariables["User::TransmissionData"].Value as System.String[];
        public override void CreateNewOutputRows()
              Add rows by calling the AddRow method on the member variable named "<Output Name>Buffer".
              For example, call MyOutputBuffer.AddRow() if your output was named "MyOutput".
            foreach (System.String Row in Transmissions)
                try
                    System.Array ar = Row.Split(",".ToCharArray());
                    //System.Int32.Parse(ar.GetValue(0).ToString());
                    //System.DateTime.Parse(ar.GetValue(1).ToString());
                    //System.Decimal.Parse(ar.GetValue(2).ToString());
                    System.DateTime.Parse(ar.GetValue(0).ToString());
                    System.DateTime.Parse(ar.GetValue(1).ToString());
                    System.Int32.Parse(ar.GetValue(3).ToString());
                    float.Parse(ar.GetValue(6).ToString());
                    OutputBuffer.AddRow();
                    OutputBuffer.StartDatetime = System.DateTime.Parse(ar.GetValue(0).ToString());
                    OutputBuffer.EndDateTime = System.DateTime.Parse(ar.GetValue(1).ToString());
    When I just execute the first two sequence containers, everything works, data written to tables.
    When I include the third sequence container, it throw an error like
    Script Component has encountered an exception in user code:
    Project name:  SC_2c..........................
    Object reference not set to an instance of object.
    at ScriptMain.PreExecute()
    at
    Microsoft.SqlSever.Dts.Piperline.ScriptComponentHost.PreExecute()
    Any ideas why when I include the third sequence/Script Component it fails? It looks like it failing in PreExecute
    thanks in advance.
    Greg Hanson

    HI Arthur thanks for answer, yes i believe it is a timing issue because when I run each container individually it works. I need to keep each sequence container separate, I believe, since a Script task (in C#) that parses the text file feeds each container
    separately. Each Sequence Container has "Transaction Supported" set. If I include 1 & 3, 2 & 3 it FAILS.
    This  is rough schematic of what I have. I thought of connecting the sequence containers, but that won't work as my Script Task that parses the file feeds separate into each sequence container:
    Script Task - Parses file into 3 separate DTS variables all containing array of strings:
    Transmission array of strings
    Energy array of strings
    Tag array of strings
    Script Task feeds into 3 separate Containers:
    Transmission container containing dataflow task that has Script Component that converts array to rows that uses oledb dest to load data into  transmission table
    Energy container containing separate dataflow task  that has Script Component  that converts array to rows that uses oledb dest to load data into Energy table
    Tag container containing separate dataflow task  that has Script Component that converts array to rows that uses oledb dest to load data into Tag table **** THIS FAILS
    I have also just tried using 1 sequence container for all Data Flow tasks, and it still fails on the last Load to Tag table data flow getting
    Script component has encountered an exception in user code:
    Project name:   SC_...
    Object reference not set to an instance of object.
    at ScriptMain.PreExecute()
    at
    Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Pipeline.ScriptComponentHost.PreExecute()
    YET WHEN I EXECUTE THIS CONTAINER SEPARATE IT WORKS.
    When I set a breakpoint in preexecute in LoadDatainto Tag Table Script Component and hit break, it WORKS!
    Please help this is due tomorrow!

  • Reminders lists get scrambled on iPad

    When I add a new list on my iPad3 running iOS7 my lists instantly change sort order on the iPad and it throws all of my iCloud lists out of order as well. The problem does not occur if I add the list from iCloud or on my iPhone. But whenever I add a new list on the iPad it scrambles the order of my Reminders lists and I have to manually put them back in the sort order I want. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I've now upgraded to an iPad Air 2 and I am experiencing the same issue. This seems to be something fundamental with the OS. After my original post I contacted Apple Support and they acknowledged the issue. They said they needed to get back to me and nrver followed up. I will contact them again With this new info on the latest iPad.

  • Sequence get the last value (or store the .NEXTVAL anywhere)

    Hi there,
    I created some tables and one table references the other (foreign key).
    Now I want to add some test data and insert rows to both tables.
    My problem is:
    The "insert into command" for table a uses a sequence value to create the primary key. Now I need the assigned primary key in my second insert command to assign the right value to the foreign key.
    Is there a way to get the last assigned value from a sequence? Or can I store the key to some sort of variable and use this in both statements?
    Thx a lot
    Dominik

    Is there a way to get the last assigned value
    from a sequence?
    NEXTVAL return next available value in the sequence.
    If you want last returned value you need to use
    CURRVAL instead.
    >SELECT <your_sequence>.CURRVAL from dual;Peter D.Currval not work always, read the following example :

  • HDV Sequence gets squashed when exporting to quicktime

    hi,can anyone help here . .
    my current edit has HDV and DV on it and I am wondeirng of anyone has any tips when editing with these formats in the sequence.
    I have two questions.
    1. the dv footage looks half the size in the canvas as the hdv footage.
    I have made it bigger by double clipping on each clip and using the scale parameter under motion tab to increase it to 200% and that filled out the window.
    Will that effect output quality? is there another way to do it? Am I losing quality here? Is there a way round this . .
    2. When i export my project as is - after rendering to quicktime - and import it into iDVD (i dont know how to use studio) the programme looks all squashed. (e.g a plant pot looks longer and thinner than it does originally)
    Actually even on the quicktime movie after export it looks squashed
    my HDV sequence settings are
    Framesize 1440x1080 aspect ratio HD(1440x1080) (16:9)
    compressor HDV 1080i50
    the anamorphic box is not ticked, i tried making a dvd with it ticked but it still looked squashed when i compare a frozen image on the DVD with a frozen image in my sequence.
    how to I get mt QT movie or reference file to look like it does on the timeline and not squashed as it is loooking now?
    thanks in advance

    You would be better (assuming a DVD is the only end use for this project) to scale to the lowest common denominator in this case DV.
    Do your edit on a DV/NTSC/PAL timeline as appropriate and recapture the HDV material using the cameras built in HDV to DV conversion then you are working completely within a DV timeline scaled at 100% no need to blow footage up.
    I am assuming the footage is a fairly equal mix of HDV DV if its just a couple of DV clips then you could go with it but obviously scaling footage up to HDV then down to SD for DVD will not produce the sharpest image.

  • Imported image sequences get cut off half-way through

    Hi there! I'm trying to import an image sequence (jpeg) into Premiere Pro CS4 4.2.1 and having trouble getting the clip to play in entirety. My sequence is 24 fps and the footage I'm bringing in is a 5-second piece interpreted at 12 fps. (It was shot at 12 fps via Dragonframe software, on 1's). Unfortunately, the clip gets cut off half-way through. If I play it at 24 fps it's all there but much too short of course, and the wrong speed. If I play it back at 12 fps, only the first half or so of it shows up. All the files are numbered correctly, so there shouldn't be a cut-off. I feel like this might be some obvious problem, but google-and-forum searches have yielded nary a result. Anyone run into this or be able to tell me what I'm doing wrong?
    Background info: I'm on a Dell Inspiron 1525, Windows Vista, 32-bit operating system, using Premiere Pro CS4 4.2.1, importing jpegs as an image sequence/numbered stills. Not running any other software, codecs, playback engines etc. to my knowledge.
    Many thanks!

    Thanks, John and Jim.
    I went in to change the Indeterminate Media Timebase to 12, but there's no such number option in CS4. The lowest is 23.9-something, and 24 is the next one up. After bringing the sequence in and playing it in the little preview box in the upper left-hand corner, everything's there, but bringing it into the time-line cuts it off. Is this a glitch? Any other known ways around it? Worst comes to worst I guess would be importing the sequence in two halves.

  • Appleworks Drawing & Painting: Color palettes getting scrambled

    I'm currently putting together a drawing document using multiple painting frames. I'm happy to use one color palette - the presentation palette - throughout, but Appleworks keeps scrambling the colors.
    This happens each time I switch between the drawing document and the painting frames, or between two painting frames. The effect is to change some of the colors in the palette, and in the document too. At times a completely different palette appears, under the same presentation heading. Two places which are supposed to have the same color, and the same cell in the palette, get different colors, using the same cell of the palette.
