Processing delay in B1iSN

Hello experts,
I am having problem with processing of the events queue Q.B1Events. This queue increase its elements and approximately every 40 minutes the elaboration process starts normally. The system has lost its immediacy and I don't understand why.
Any ideas?
Thanks in Advance,
Ivan

Hi Wilson,
to change the recovery scheduler of B1i, please do the following:
To open the integration framework from the Microsoft Windows start menu, choose All Programs → Integration solution  for SAP Business One → Integration Framework.
Logon with the B1iadmin user and provide the password.
In the integration framework, choose Tools → Control Center.
In the control center, choose Configuration → Deployment Panel.
Search for the following: bizstore:/com.sap.b1i.system.xc/ipo/cronjobs.ipo, and click Cfg.
After the user interface has refreshed,
The Application Instance Configuration... user interface opens.
To change the scheduler for Recovery, please search for line “RecoveryPrep” and click Cfg.
The IPO-Step Configuration for step … user interface opens:
Per default the scheduler for  recovery runs twice a day (6:30 am and pm)
To change it to run it 4 times a day, enter in  parameter hour 6,9,12,18 instead of 6,18. After the changes click Apply! and confirm the pop-up window.
At the Application Instance Configuration... user interface click Apply! And confirm the pop-up window.
As result the recovery should now run four times a days.
Best regards
Bastian

  • There is a processing delay. When typing in Word there is a delay between when a key is hit and when the corresponding character appears on the screen. Another example is when scrolling down a page, the scroll is also delayed.

What is cause of processing delay. Fraction of a second delay between hitting a key and seeing result on screen. Another example is when scrolling, the scroll is delayed for a fraction of a second.

This is only in Word? Sounds like Microsoft's software has a bug. Have you checked for available updates in Microsoft AutoUpdate?

  • IDoc processing Delay

    Hello guys,
we have a problem in our client for the IDoc processing. It is a critical process that have to be finished as soon as possible.
We take data from a Oracle Database, and do a transformation in PI 7.1 to a Z IDoc which is sent to R/3.
The problem is that seeing time execution there is a delay from the process in PI 7.1 and R/3.
For example: in our process PI execution is about 1 second, seeing monitoring it starts at 11:11:53 and finishes at 11:11:54.
The problem is in the IDoc creation, if we take a look at the IDoc the first entry with status 50 (IDoc created) is at 11:19.
The IDoc is Z and has option trigger immediately with a Z process code and a Z execution for the IDoc.
This interface is executed every 30 secons more or less, and the delay only occurs 1 time every week more or less, but they can't wait 8 minutes because it is a critical process.
We have an IDoc adapter with an RFC created at SM59, and the RFC is executed in milliseconds.
Do you know where could be the problem? There is any way to see where could be the problem or how to avoid it?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Xavi.

    Hello,
this message has a prioritized queue.
Seeing the IDocs in R/3, this interface creates IDocs every minute, but in a moment and for 10 minutes no IDoc is created, and after this time, 8-9 Idocs arrive at the same time.
It seems that the RFC queue is stopped or waiting for these minutes.
Creating another RFC for this interface would be the same?
    Many thanks.

    Xavi.

  • Processing delay in MII

    Hi,
At one of our customer Plants there is a issue with delayed processing, there is a transaction  "Txn_Schedule_ReplacePCo_Trigger " which is scheduled to run every 6 seconds.First thing this transaction does is to write to the MII Logger with the following message :
Production Order Complete or Partial Confirmation u2013 Pco Txn has been triggered.
After it has processed, it writes the following message to the MII Logger: -
PCo Call for PO complete or Partial Confirmation u2013 Pco success
On the 29 03 2011 , the message PCo Call for PO complete or Partial Confirmation u2013 Pco success was written on the MII logger at 18:40:34. The next message to be written at 20:04:31 was Production Order Complete or Partial Confirmation u2013 Pco Txn has been triggered. It appears for some reason (not yet known) the PCOtrigger transaction did not run.
Looking at todays MII logger, we can see on average 5 minutes passing before the PCo trigger transaction is submitted, even though it should run every six seconds.
Can someone tell me if we are missing something here.
    Thanks,
    Raveen

Have you checked the Transaction Manager logs to see if all the transactions ran and completed?
Any particular reason you are trying to execute confirmations every 6 seconds?  For this particular plant, are there issues with the connection to the ECC system (network slowness or interruptions)?

  • ColdFusion Event Gateway - Data Processing Delay

    Hi,
We are running ColdFusion 9 inside JBOSS.
We have event gateways that communicate with JMS Queue from JBOSS to acquire the vehicle related data for further processing (about 2 millions data per day in real time).
However, we facing performance degradation for the event gateways after it runs for 8hrs (initially data processing at 0 sec delay, subsequently built up to almost 10 mins delay) and it requires restart to resume back to normal speed.
Further checking on the servers show that the event gateways occupied all CPU processing power after running for few hrs.
May I know what is the issue and what can i do improve the performance. Your help shall be high appreciated.

  • Process Message Processing delay

Can anybody explain, why does it take longer time in SAP for a process message to process successfully?
In CO54 - From the moment it gets created (yello light) to the moment when it is successfully processed (green light). We have an issue in one of the plant where it takes upto 3 to 4 hours to process the message. It is mainly for PI_PROD message category and it happens for only fewl PI_PROD process messages.
It is only happening for one plant though.

    Ok, I found the solution.
There is batch job that is scheduled at client level and its priority is "Medium".
    - We changed the priority to "high" (still waiting to see if this helps)
    - If the above solution didn't work then schedule batch job at plant level instead at client level [SAP Recomended] (This should defintely solve the problem)

  • Video playback and processing delays

    I'm currently using a HP P6240f Desktop
When playing a video, the video portion will start and stop as it pleases, however, the sound will continue to play normally.  Since the two are not in sync, I don't believe it to be a buffering issue.  I currently use Comcast Business with the highest Internet speed available.
Now here is the strange part, as soon as I touch my mouse the video will immediately start playing again.
I checked my Adobe flash player and it is up to date and I have 8 gigs of ram and  It doesn't matter how many programs I'm running.  I also use Carbonite but this problem still occurs whether or not Carbonite is running in the background.
I've also noticed, that when things are loading, that to will stop, and start up once I touch my mouse.
Besides buying a new computer, does anyone have any suggestions.
    Many thanks for the help.

Am  I miss anything or Windows 7 is not supported by B1iSN, pls?
(There is no useful info availanble on SDN for this issue)
    Thanks,

    Hi John,
Are you using 32 or 64bits?
In 64bits machines you need to have JDK 1.5 installed for both 32 and 64bits and to point to both separated installations during B1ic installation.
    Hope it helps
    Trinidad.

  • Why is my order taking that long to process and to be shipped?

Well its almost going to be 5 days and my order still says processing
in the details it said that it would be shipped from 1-3 days and that it will be delived from Delivers   Jan 11 - Jan 13  via 2-3 Business Days
all i want to know is why does it take so long to process it should be shipped by now.

No one here works for Apple nor does Apple visit this message board.  We are all end users like yourself helping each other out.
Call the vendor where you placed your order and ask them about the "process" delay.

  • Very slight delay in live recording

    Hi.
I am running LE with an Alexis Multimix 8 Firewire control mixer. I am getting a very slight delay over the monitor speakers and in headphones when speaking into mic or playing guitar when a track is record enabled. This is annoying. I do not get this delay when using Cubase LE which came with the mixer. Being new, I guess you might call what I am looking for is a "dry" sound. I have tinkered and read the manual adnauseum to no avail. Is this due to a "processing" delay through LE? Is there a record or monitoring setting that will alleviate this problem?
    Thanks,

  • Tracking down a periodic delay in a cRIO

    Hi Folks,
I am having trouble with a mystery process delaying my main loop in a RT system. I am looking for advice on how to debug this problem. Thanks!
I have an industrial control project in LabVIEW 2009 SP1. It is running in a 9014 cRIO. The main time critical loop runs every 10 ms and both reads and writes using implicit Class 1 Ethernet/IP (Industrial Protocol, a standard from ODVA.) to an Allan Bradely Control Logix PLC.
The PLC has a watchdog counter. It writes a new value on the counter which is then written to the cRIO. The cRIO copies the counter value back to the PLC. The PLC counts how many "cycles" it takes to receive this value back from the cRIO. Each is cycle is 5 milliseconds, the time it takes to run one loop of the ladder logic. If the count of cycles gets to 15, an alarm is set and the control system is effectively shut down.
What I am seeing is that most of the time, the communications works just fine. The data gets through in 2 or 3 cycles, which is what you would expect. About every 6 seconds, the com fails and the watchdog counter spikes past 15. This appears to be something going on in the cRIO.
I did some tests in the cRIO. I set up a timer to tell me how long it was taking to get from the start of the main loop to various points in the loop. The loop is broken up by frames of a sequence structure. What I found was that the loop always ran in the same amount of time, even when the delay was clearly observed. In other words, the delay is happening between iterations of the main loop.
I also tried to use the Remote Execution Trace Toolkit to see what I could see. I set up some code to detect the delay and then trigger a send of the trace data. At best I can get 1.4 miliiseconds of data. Since the delay itself is 90 milliseconds, I am not able to see an event that is relevant to my search.
So how do I figure out what is going on?

Not knowing if you are a very experience LV RT programmer, it is difficult to know if the following are obvious to you. The cRIO developers guide is very good at explaining how to handle deterministic and non-deterministic processes, and how you need to decide how to distinguish and implement them and how LV RT prioritises their operation. Chapter 3 is really useful, here are a couple of quotes:
"Your application might consist of both deterministic and nondeterministic tasks. Deterministic processes must complete on time, every time, and therefore need dedicated processor resources to ensure timely completion. Separate the deterministic tasks from all other tasks to ensure that they receive enough processor resources. For example, if a control application acquires data at regular intervals and stores the data on disk, you might need to handle the timing and control of the data acquisition deterministically. However, storing the data on disk is inherently a nondeterministic task because file I/O operations have unpredictable response times that depend on the hardware and the availability of the hardware resource. Therefore, you want to use a Timed Loop for the data acquisition task and a While Loop for data logging. While Loops should be used for nondeterministic tasks or unbounded code (file I/O, network communication, and so on)."
    And:
"When a time-critical loop is called, it is the only loop on the block diagram that executes." and "Timed Loops are single-threaded, so you can serialize your tasks using error wires to guarantee that the data nodes execute in the same order every time the loop is called. If you implement these tasks as two separated Timed Loops with equal priority, they still execute in the same thread, but you cannot guarantee the order of execution." and "You generally should use Timed Loops only when implementing a periodic task since any type of blocking introduces jitter."
So perhaps put that non-deterministic communication loop in a while loop rather than a timed structure, otherwise it could be block the other timed loops from running. I'm sure somebody far more experienced with LV RT would come up with a more rigorous recommendation - but hopefully this is a useful pointer.

  • A question about CPS (CPS processing) and CAPolicy.inf file.

    Hello All
Can someone please help me with the following question.
Background, I am building a 3-tier PKI infrastructure. offline Root, offline Policy (intermediate), online issuing.
Now my first question is about CPS (certificate practice statement) for this example lets just call this the InternalIssuancePolicy as below.
Basically I was thinking it is best not to set a given certificate (aka issuance) policy at the Root, the reason being I may wish to have different issuance policies at a latter date.
For example right now I just want an issuance policy (CPS) for internal certificates only, therefore I am thinking set this at the Policy CA level, as below [InternalIssuancePolicy] (example OID) and then issuing CA certs from this Policy CA to the
internal issuing CAs. If at a latter date I want a different policy (CPS) for issuance of external certificates I can build a new Policy CA under the existing Root with a different policy extension.
    Is the above logic sound?
    Questions:
I am assuming from recent study that the CA cert issued to the Issuing CA will contain a single issuance policy "only" i.e. the one that was specified in the Policy CA 1.3.6.1.4.11111111.1.1.1.  If so I believe you cannot build a new
issuing CA and submit the CSR to the Policy CA asking for a CA cert with any other certificate policy extension other than 1.3.6.1.4.11111111.1.1.1
    Is that correct?
    Also
I saw a blog post which stated if are going to use certificate/issuance policies (other than all issuance policies) you should mark the extension as critical=true otherwise the policy just becomes glorified comment. I take the point but that leads me to
    two more questions
1: How does the certificate changing engine or CryptoAPI enforce a certificate policy (as it is just a policy, e.g. written procedure). I am assuming all this means is it forces the client to process the extension and therefore check the certificate
policy extension in the certificate does not violate the certificate chain but that is all it can do?
2: If the certificate policy extension is set to critical and the URL referenced in the extension is not available (e.g. on a WEB Server and the client is working offline, but has a cached CRL), does setting the extension to critical also force the
client to try and access the URL listed, or not (I am assuming not as you could just have a text block rather than URL).
Any comments suggestions on my proposed three CAPolicy.inf files below for the 3-tier PKI (again offline Root and Policy)

    > Is the above logic sound?
not that much. In this case 3-tier PKI could be reduced to 2-tier. Make default Offline Root CA and below it issuing CAs with desired policy OIDs. You will combine issuing CA with policy CA functionality. Additional tier will cost you a license, administration
overhead and increased certificate chain processing delays. There is nothing wrong if you combine policy CAs with issuing.
    > I saw a blog post which stated if are going to use certificate/issuance policies (other than all issuance policies) you should mark the extension as critical=true
where did you get this? Certificate policies should not be marked critical. Certificate chaining engine will take care of it, when application reqests CCE to validate desired policy.
    > does setting the extension to critical also force the client to try and access the URL listed
no. Certificate chaining engine do not inspect policy qualifier URLs.

    pathlength = 1
    critical=true
These sections are not required at policy CA. Afaik, CDP and AIA extensions are not supported in non-root CA configuration files. The same is with issuing CA. And your issuing CA is missing PolicyStatementExtension section.

  • Make synchronous the update process of the FB01 transaction.

Hello, we are using the BTE 1080 that is inside of the FB01 transaction
to execute a "call transaction" to the F-51. At this point we use the
FI accounting document data (identified by: {BUKRS, BELNR, GJAHR})
"created" by FB01 as an input to the F-51 "call transaction".
Due to the update process in the FB01 is asynchronous (in update task)
some times the update process delays longer than usual and the F-51 fails
because is unable to find the FI accounting document data in the database.
We could use the "wait" instruction to wait for a period of time until the
"update task" write data to the database, but we don't know how much
time it will take. We would like to know if it is possible to make synchronous
the update process of the FB01 in order to warranty the existency of the
data in the database that will be used by the next transaction F-51.
    Thank you and best regards,
    José.

    Hi,
I don't think it's possible. You can do a simple select from BKPF and if the new document is already there then don't wait. Otherwise wait for reasonable time and check again.

  • IPSec Propogation Delay

    Dear All,
I have cisco 3825 routers with AIM-VPN/EPII-PLUS on which i will run ospf and make tunnels between sites or between ospf routers.
I need to know that using AIM-VPN/EPII-PLUS how much processing delay for one IPSec tunnel. Lets suppose, i make a ipsec tunnel between two routers using 3DES,SHA,Preshared key, how much time router will take to encrypt, hashing etc the packet.
Hope u would get my point, what i want to know..
    Regards.

There are few ways to keep tunnel open
    -Periodic isakmp keepalives
    crypto isakmp keepalive
-How you suggest increasing ipsec idle-timer and also ike/ipsec lifetime
    isakmp policy 20 lifetime
    crypto ipsec security-association lifetime
-Running NTP between the 2 routers thru the ipsec tunnel
I think there are no big issue.. we used this when IP sec between Cisco and non-Cisco device had problem to come up from non-Cisco side so we decided keep tunnel up

  • How to retry Processing Event

    Hi Expert,
How can i retry the Processing event in B1iSN ?
Because i have some task those are stuck up on processing event from last 3 days it's not moving from the Processing event so how can i retry them ?
    Please guide on this.
    Thanks & Regards,

    Hi Bastian,
Thank you. You confirmed what I was thinking.
Do you thinking it is possible to have the retry function on the filtered items in one of the next version of B1i ?
If the platform is used to connect serveral systems, it can be usefull to be able to disable one flow and to have the possibility to retry it after reactivation.
