I am trying to change Update Method from Only PSA to PSA then Data Targets( Packae by package ) . But it is grey & i am not able to Change . Please help
currently it is Only PSA.

You mention that you don't get complete data in the DSO for PSA, is there a mapping between the fields in the source and
infoobjects in the targets in the transfer rules and update rules? If not then this data will not be loaded for the fields that
don't have a mapping.

Processing options for the PSA transfer method
In contrast to a data request with IDocs, a data request in the PSA also gives you various options for updating data in the BI system. Upon selection, you need to weigh data security against performance for the loading process.
If you create an InfoPackage in the scheduler for BI, you specify the type of data update on the Processing tab page.
The following processing options are available in the PSA transfer method:

PSA and Data Targets/InfoObjects in Parallel (By Package)
A process is started to write the data from this data package into the PSA for each data package. If the data is successfully updated in the PSA, a second parallel process is started. In this process, the transfer rules are used for the package data records, data is adopted by the communication structure, and it is finally written to the data targets. Posting of the data occurs in parallel by package.
This method is used to update data into the PSA and the data targets with a high level of performance. BI receives the data from the source system, writes it to the PSA, and starts the update immediately, in parallel, in the corresponding data target.
The maximum number of processes, which is set in the source system in Maintaining Control Parameters for Data Transfer, does not restrict the number of processes in BI. Therefore, many dialog processes in the BI system could be necessary for the loading process. Make sure that enough dialog processes are available in the BI system.
If the data package contains incorrect data records, you have several options allowing you to continue working with the records in the request. You can specify how the system should react to incorrect data records. More information: Handling Data Records with Errors.
You also have the option of correcting data in the PSA and updating it from here (refer to Checking and Changing Data).
Note the following when using transfer and update routines:
If you choose this processing option and then request processing takes place in parallel during loading, the global data is deleted because a new process is used for every data package in further processing.
PSA and then to Data Target/InfoObject (by Package)
A process that writes the package to the PSA table is started for each data package. When the data has been successfully updated to the PSA, the same process writes the data to the data targets. The data is posted in serial by package.
Compared with the first processing option, you have better control over the whole data flow with a serial update of data in packages, because the BI system carries it out using only one process for each data package. Only a certain number of processes are necessary for each data request in the BI system. This number is defined in the settings made in the maintenance of the control parameters in customizing for extractors.
If the data package contains incorrect data records, you have several options allowing you to continue working with the records in the request. More information: Handling Data Records with Errors.
You also have the option of correcting data in the PSA and updating it from here (refer to Checking and Changing Data).
Note the following when using transfer and update routines:
If you choose this processing option and then request processing takes place in parallel during loading, the global data is deleted because a new process is used for every data package in further processing.

Using this method, data is written to the PSA and is not updated any further.
You have the advantage of having data stored safely in BI and having the PSA, which is ideal as a persistent incoming data store for mass data as well. The setting for the maximum number of processes in the source system can also have a positive impact on the number of processes in BI.
To further update the data automatically in the corresponding data target, wait until all the data packages have arrived and have been successfully updated in the PSA, and select Update in DataTarget from the Processing tab page when you schedule the InfoPackage in the Scheduler.
A process that writes the package to the PSA table is started for each data package. If you then trigger further processing and the data is updated to the data targets, a process is started for the request that writes the data packages to the data targets one after the other. Posting of the data occurs in serial by request.
When using the InfoPackage in a process chain, this setting is hidden in the scheduler. This is because the setting is represented by its own process type in process chain maintenance and is maintained there.
Handling Duplicate Data Records (only possible with the processing type Only PSA):
The system indicates when master data or text DataSources transfer potential duplicate data records for a key into the BI system. The Ignore Duplicate Data Records indicator is also set by default in this case. If multiple data records are transferred, the last data record of a request for a particular key is updated in BI by default. Any other data records in the request with the same key are ignored. If the Ignore Duplicate Data Records indicator is not set, duplicate data records will cause an error. The error message is displayed in the monitor.
Note the following when using transfer and update routines:
If you choose this processing option and request processing takes place serially during loading, the global data is kept as long as the process with which the data is processed is in existence.
Further updating from the PSA
Several options are available to update the data from the PSA into the data targets.
●      To immediately update the request data in the background, select the request in the PSA tree and choose Context Menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Start Update Immediately.
●      To schedule a request update using the Scheduler, select the request in the PSA tree and choose Context Menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Schedule Update.
The Scheduler (PSA Subsequent Update) appears. Here you can define the scheduling options for background processing. For data with flexible update, you can also specify and select update parameters where data needs to be updated.
●      To further update the data automatically in the corresponding data target, wait until all the data packages have arrived and have been successfully updated in the PSA, and select Update in DataTarget from the Processing tab page when you schedule the InfoPackage in the Scheduler.
When using the InfoPackage in a process chain, this setting is hidden in the scheduler. This is because the setting is represented by its own process type in process chain maintenance and is maintained there.
Simulating/canceling update from PSA
To simulate the data update for a request using the Monitor, select the request in the PSA tree, and choose Context menu (right mouse button) ® Simulate/Cancel update.
The monitor detail screen appears. On the Detail tab page, select one or more data packages and choose Simulate Update. In the following screen, define the simulation selections and select Execute Simulation. Enter the data records for which you want to simulate the update and choose Continue. You see the data in the communication structure format. In the case of data with flexible updating, you can change to the view for data target data records. In the data target screen you can display the records belonging to the communication structure for selected records in a second window. If you have activated debugging, the ABAP Debugger appears and you can execute the error analysis there.

Processing several PSA requests at once
To process several PSA requests at once, select the PSA in the PSA tree and choose Context Menu (Right Mouse Button) ® Process Several Requests. You have the option of starting the update for the selected requests immediately or using the scheduler to schedule them. The individual requests are scheduled one after the other in the scheduler. You can delete the selected requests collectively using this function. You can also call detailed information, the monitor, or the content display for the corresponding data target.

Firefox runs in background (appear in Task Manager Processes Tab) only and does not appear on Desktop

I have been using Firefox on my Desktop PC with Windows XP for a long time. However, today possibly due to some virus (I attached an infected flash drive to my PC) a suspicious change in homepage (www.delta-homes.com) of my firefox occurred. Simultaneously an error message of "WinZip" appeared on screen. I figured that there must be some software in "C:\Program Files\" which is also causing problem to my firefox. I opened Program Files and removed that folder named WinZip. (Tried to uninstall it but it won't happen so I had to use "Unlocker" to kill processes this folder was associated with and then deleted the folder.)
From that point onward, My FireFox started to behave weird. Whenever I click on Firefox icon or access firefox.exe from any source (start menu, quick launch, program files, Run Command), it starts but appears only in "Task Manager Processes Tab". In that Processes Tab, firefox.exe is continuously using 50% of CPU but it does not appear on Desktop at all.
To go a step further, I uninstalled firefox and tried to re-download from Firefox official website but the download fails in the start saying "Download is interrupted". (See attached Image). So I downloaded a previous version of Firefox (v 34.0) from www.filehippo.com and installed it but the same problem is happening with this version too.
I am confused and surprised what might be causing this problem. Everything else on PC running fine. Kindly help me restore my Firefox so that I may not lose any precious Bookmarks, Settings and other Data. thanks

can anybody help me, How do we get the Payment Processing tab which is used for Retention purpose ? Which SAP Note or package is involved in this as i am unable to find that tab? We have just installed SAP ERP ECC 6.0 EHP4. Kindly guide me.

I have configured retention and also activated the switch LOG_MMFI_P2P ..Payment processing tab is now appeared in PO but Retention field is missing. Please check below screen shot.
There are many posts related to Retention config, i have already checked and but none is suitable for my problem. PLease help.

Unable to edit process in Processes tab

Hi
We've got some processes set up in our processes tab and in ES were are able to edit this.
Since we upgraded and created a new ES2 server these seem to be read-only. When I try to edit one of the processes in the Process tab I get the message:
"You can only view and edit this process in the Applications view. If this process was created in a previous version of LiveCycle, create an application and import the process into it."
I can copy this process into my application and edit it in the Applications tab, but I can't find any way to get these changes back into the Processes tab.
Can anyone help me with this?

Why do I have 2, 3, 4 copies of Firefox shown in Windows Task Manager Processes Tab?

After a few days, Firefox will get real slow, has lots of disk activity when opening a new Tab or going to another website. When I look in Task Manager, I'll see as many as 4 instances of Firefox in the Processes Tab. Even if I restart Firefox, some or all of these processes remain and I have to manually stop them to get Firefox back to speed. What is wrong or is it something I'm doing?

You can test to see whether one of your plugins is causing Firefox to use too much memory by selectively disabling some of them:
1. Click the menu button and choose Add-ons.
2. In the Add-ons Manager tab, select the Plugins panel.
3. Click on a plugin in the list to select it, then select Never Activate to disable it.
Repeat for some of the plugins in your list.
After disabling some of your plugins, close and restart Firefox, and observe its memory usage. If you don't see an improvement, you can enable those plugins again and try with a different set.

Use of "Error Handling" Tab in InfoPackage Update Tab?

I want to know the Use of "<b>Error Handling</b>" Tab in InfoPackage Update Tab?
Options in this tab are like
1.No Update,no reporting
2.Valid records update,no reporting(request red)
3.Valid records update,reporting possible(request green)
Terminate After No.Errors _________
4.No Aggregation Allowed

No update, no reporting (default):
If errors do occur, the update of the entire data packet is canceled. The request is not released for reporting. However, the records check continues.
Updating valid records, no reporting (request red) :
This option enables you to update valid data that is released for reporting only after the administrator has checked the incorrect, not updated records, and has manually released the request (by a QM action, meaning setting the Overall status on the tabstrip Status in the monitor).
Updating valid records, reporting possible :
The valid records can be reported on immediately. Automatic follow-up actions are also carried out, such as adjusting the aggregates.
With option a) the incorrect records are marked in red in the PSA maintenance. You can display the relevant error messages amodally, edit the records, and update the request manually. If it was not possible to write into the PSA (hierarchy or transfer method IDoc), an application log is written instead.
With options b) and c) a new request that is only read into the PSA is formed from the incorrect records. Here you can edit the records of the new request in the PSA and start the update manually.

Error 1172 when click on Processes tab in SimpleTaskMonitor.vi

I'm trying to run the SimpleTaskMonitor .net example that comes with LabVIEW 7.0. When I click on the Processes tab while the vi is running I get the following error:
Error 1172 occurred at Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.>> Cannot read Instance :CSDispatcher. in SimpleTaskMonitor.vi Possible Reason(s): A .NET exception occurred.
How do I fix this problem?
I have Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1, Microsoft .NET Framework Hotfix (KB886903) and Microsoft .NET Framework SDK (English) 1.1 installed and am using LabVIEW 7.0.
I had been getting a message when I opened the vi that the System, Version 1.0.3300.0 assembly had not been referenced, but I found a link on NI's website that said to double-click the PerformanceCounter constructor nodes in the vi and select the appropriate constructors from System, Version 1.0.5000.0. I did that, which made the message when I open the vi go away, but I still get the above error when I go to the Processes tab while the vi is running.

For those that might be interested, we've been able to isolate it down to a Win32 issue and CSDispatcher. Using a straight C# application, we get
Received an exception: System.InvalidOperationException: Cannot read Instance : CSDispatcher.
at System.Diagnostics.CounterDefinitionSample.GetInstanceValue(String instanceName)
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.NextSample()
at System.Diagnostics.PerformanceCounter.NextValue()
when trying to read the "Private Bytes" value. I am not sure if it is a bug with the Win32 Perfmon provider or something that CSDispatcher has done to disable that counter.
