Hi all,

Solaris 10 EBS 11.5.10.2 dB 10.2.0.4
Please see (Customizing an AutoConfig Environment [ID 270519.1]) to verify if you have any custom jserv.properties and see if it points to your source instance.

Error Code After Running Apple Hardware Test
I ran apple hardware test (I'm having problems where my computer freezes for like 10 seconds with the mouse being movable... but it happens very frequently. like once a minute. it's SOOO ANNOYING)
this is the error i got after running apple hardware test:
(it came out as a Mass Storage error... which is Hard Disk i guess)
**ERROR*CODE***ERROR*CODE**
2STF/8/3: S-ATA Bus 0-Master
**ERROR*CODE***ERROR*CODE**
Does anyone know what I can do to fix it. Apple Hardware Test only allows me to find the error and then restart or shut down... which is useless cause what is the error code supposed to mean. I've only got Apple 1 yr repair support left... so I cant call up Apple or anything. Does anyone know anything about this and what I could do to fix it!?
I know about this: http://www.apple.com/support/imac/repairextensionprogram/
I might go to the apple store, but I dont wanna make a trip out there for nothing.
Does anyone know what I can do or should I just take it to the apple store.Actually, i just spent like 1 hr working with disk utility using the os x install disk and i think it finally worked. im so happy for myself! yay... i wouldnt accept no for an answer. Disk utility kept saying "oh first aid failed because it didnt exit right" or something... total garbage response... i kept pressing verify disk and then repair disk and then i did the verify permissions and repair permissions too... didnt really know what i was doing with the permissions... but it finally worked so thats all that mattered! yay... its back to normal!!

URGENT Please: Problem after run autoconfig patch(Advanced_Inbound 5505631)
Hi
First I must say that I am new on applying patches on Oracle applications.

One is that the concurrent manager don’t start(CONCSUB failed due to ORA-01017). I have change the xml file from GUES/GUES to GUES/ORACLE, but still no start.
I think the problem was not the patch itself, but other issue

Even after classpath setting in jserv.properties file error.
hi kali,
i have used a custom jsp page for export to excell using a jar file poi-3i-200566.jar which i deployed in oracle apps version 11.5.10.2.
the jar is put in $JAVA_TOP and class path entry is set in jserv.properties file as
wrapper.classpath=/d2_u10/....../poi-3i-200566.jar .
After setting the classpath , bounced the apache.
But even after the setting , the same error continues.
I refered the mod_jserv.log file for error details , the error is in import statement of classes present in the poi-3i-200566.jar file like
could not find the symbol HSSRow , HSSpreadsheet , etc. all these are classes in jar file.
please anybody know any extra conf is needed or any idea where i am going wrong.
thanks
prabhakr,apHi,
Please check your jserv.properties file whether the custom class path that you have set is present or not in jserv.properties after restarting the AutoConfig and Apache server.
Thanks & Regards,
Sagarika -

How do I find out what an error code found on running the hardware test, means?
After running the hardware test on my Mac Pro I got an error code of: 4HDD/11/40000004: SATA (4,0) -- HOW DO I FIND OUT WHAT THIS MEANS?
It means your one of your SATA Hard drives is having trouble (or possibly your DVD drive, but not likley).
Got good backups? Now would be a good time to try to make some if you don't. -
Entries posting to FI erronously after running CO cycles
Hi all,
Normally after closing FI period we run CO cycles, but an incident came cross where FI entries have passed after running Co cycles and when view the GL there are debit and credit entries have been posted which gives ultimately a zero balance. Plz expalin how to correct this.
Thanks,
AmaPlease check Table COBK in SE16 if there is any Business Transaction with COIN, there you will get Reference Document Number , Document Type , Original Business Transaction,
Please match the same with your FI entries. This will give information wether CO FI Integration is active.
Also one more thing you can check in Verion 0 whether Integrated Planning is eanble or not. in SPRO
Please let me know if you need further more information on the same.

Hi,
This might not be a JSF question, but I thought I'd start here as I'm building a JSF application. Upon startup of my Weblogic 9.2.2 server, I see these error messages
log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (org.apache.myfaces.webapp.StartupServletContextListener).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
One complication, my log4j.properties file is actually called "my.properties" (bizarre company reason). Is there somewhere in my faces-config.xml file or an equivalent where I can indicate what log4j properties file I'd like to use?Your company policy is to use non-standard names so that things must be configured manually? Interesting.
In the past people created a servlet those sole purpose was to configure log4j in the initialization sequence and then do nothing. -
Issue in running autoconfig in appsTier while cloning
Hi my dear Friends
I am working on a clone. I completed post clone in dbTier. Now my DB is up and running. Then I ran adcfgclone.pl in appsTier. It completed with some errors in autoconfig.
The content of log file:
[AutoConfig Error Report]
The following report lists errors AutoConfig encountered during each
phase of its execution. Errors are grouped by directory and phase.
The report format is:
<filename> <phase> <return code where appropriate>
[SETUP PHASE]
AutoConfig could not successfully execute the following scripts:
Directory: E:\TEST\testcomn\admin\install\TEST_fintest
adgenjky.cmd INSTE8_SETUP 128
[APPLY PHASE]
AutoConfig could not successfully execute the following scripts:
Directory: E:\TEST\testcomn\admin\install\TEST_fintest
adsvalsn.cmd INSTE8_APPLY -1
AutoConfig is exiting with status 2
I modified the environmental variable DISCO_JRE to point to the jre in my COMMON_TOP.
After this wen i ran autoconfig it stopped abruptly. In log i found the below:
Starting AutoConfig at Sun Mar 8 09:33:47 2009
Using adconfig.pl version 115.74
Classpath :
Version Conflicts among development maintained and customized templates encountered; aborting AutoConfig run.
The logfile for this session is located at: D:\TEST\testappl\admin\TEST_fintest\log\03080933\adconfig.log
Then i rolled back my environmental variable DISCO_JRE to the old value but no result.
Please can any one help me get rid of this problem?
Regards
Ridhi SundarI found this.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Following Note: 238276.1 - Migrating to Linux with Oracle Applications Release 11i
2. Follow Section 2: Migrate Platforms with Oracle Applications 11i
3. Follow step 7. Run AutoConfig setup phase on the target system
4. Run command line:
./adconfig.sh run=INSTE8_SETUP contextfile=/u001/.../contextFILE.xml
Changes
The OS environment variable JAVA_HOME is set.
Cause
$JAVA_HOME misdirects adconfig to the wrong jre.
Solution
Simply issue the following command:
unset JAVA_HOME
Then you can run adconfig.sh without the above error.
Hope helps

Window changes size after running - Bug?
I have been having an issue (a mildly infuriating one) where my window size changes after running. See images
The window expands by the size of the scroll bars in the x and y axis. It only happens sporadically - I can't figure out a way to predict when it will happen or not. I'll just be running/stopping the program and then bam! different front panel size. I've also had it happen on multiple different machines with multiple different programs. There was no code in any of the programs that resized the FP window. I know I can force the runtime size with VI properties, but...I gutted the linked vi (with notes on what was changed) and attached it if you want to try and reproduce it. After some more playing around with it, I realized it is any time I first open the VI and run it. It seemed random because the VI was part of a project and I was frequenly opening / closing / running etc.

Hello!
I tried to upgrade oracle Database 10.2.0.4.0 to 11.1.0.7.0, following these documentations:
