In which Table or Tcode, can i see the link between a Product and Location?

Hi,
You can see the Product-Location master at /n/SAPAPO/MAT1.
The tables are
Product - /SAPAPO/MATKEY. You can get the Product ID from here.
Location - /SAPAPO/LOC. You can get the Location ID from here.
ProductLocation - /SAPAPO/MATLOC. You can get the Location IDs for Product IDs.

Products and locations in DP

Hi,
I am just implementing DP and the Product and Location characteristics (9AMATNR and 9ALOCNO) are in the MPOS.
I created a cube (the cube has all the characteristics of the MPOS, Product Location and others) for the actualsales. When I want to create a combination I see the values of the characteristics except the values of the Product and Location characteristics. Do I have to bring these values through the Core Interface to APO, so that I can create the CVCs in DP?

For creating a cube u need to have dimensions in sense characteristics in APO....The characteristics can be product type location type , time characteristics , uom etc.,,
The values of the characteristics are nothng but the master data of the APO that comes from ECC.So even when u create u r MPOS these values should be present in APO data mart.If u r using the same characteristics in infocube then u will not have to transfer again the data from ECC.If u want to see the CVC'S that u generated in apo u can look into T-Code :/sapapo/mc62.
If u want u r CVCs and keyfigures to be displayed in cube using T_Code : listcube.

I have a new MacBook. I want to put my iTunes on it that I previously bought. The solution is to authorise the Mac by going on the Store and authorising it. I press the store link and all I get are products and no link for authorisation?

I have a new mac Book. I want to put my previously purchased itunes on it. The support page says to authorise the new Mac by going into the itunes store and then authorise. I click on store and all I get are products with no link. Can someone advise where the authroisation link is please?

I don't know why but after about an hour the tool bar you rferred to came on its self jsut as the support solution and you have advised and it is now working, but the toolbar just disappears and that is why I could not find the link or correct store link. Weird! But thanks, Gordon

Fetching Alert for Particular Product and Location

This is on ABAP side..
I just wanted to know whether its possible to fetch alerts for Pariticular material and Location.
I checked the method Read_alerts in Class /sapapo/alert_manager, but its not working. Any suggestion on this are welcome.

Function module to get PPM for given product and/or location

There is a BAPI that might help - BAPI_PPMSRVAPS_GETLIST which has product and location selection criteria.

Discoverer query a logical standby rather than production via db link

Hello,
I have read in some oracle documentation that oracle does not support discoverer on a logical standby database because the EUL tables need write access. So oracle recommends having the EUL tables on a write enabled database (Production) and then link to data on a logical standby.
Is anyone doing something like this currently? I am curious how this would be configured? And is it worth it?

Hi Olivier
You need to point your EUL folders at the other database using a database link. Then whenever Discoverer sees that folder it will call the database link and the data will come from the other database.
Therefore, you need to have a schema on the other database that has SELECT permissions on all of the objects that you want to query. After satisfying yourself that you have such a schema, on the local database you create a database link to the other database using the schema that has the permissions. In order to create the database link your will of course need to be logged on locally using an account that has permission to create such a link and you will need to know the password of the schema in the other database.
If you don't create a PUBLIC database link you will also need to make sure that your EUL owner and all of your users can access it. More often than not I will use a PUBLIC database link which saves all the trouble.
Here is a script for a PUBLIC database link. The link is called LOCAL_TO_STANDBY and as you can see the user I am connecting as is called APPS with a password of STANDBY_APPS (entered in the IDENTIFIED BY section):
CREATE PUBLIC DATABASE LINK LOCAL_TO_STANDBY
CONNECT TO APPS
IDENTIFIED BY STANDBY_APPS

You will of course have to change your database connection information by altering the IP address or the host or replacing this with a fully qualified domain name, you then have to provide the PORT and the SERVICE_NAME for the database you will be connecting to.
To test the connection, try this:
SELECT FROM DUAL@LOCAL_TO_STANDBY;

There is no chance at all that you can activate the iPad without the previous user's Apple ID and password. That is the feature of iOS 7 Activation Lock.
Every time I read one of these post, I can't help but think that the user asking about this (in this case - you) was duped into purchasing a stolen device. If the seller was legit, they would have erased the device completely before they sold it.

Locate link browser window in Windows 7 and Outlook 2003

Every time I click on a link in an email in Outlook, a "locate link browser" window appears. There's a lot of help on the web to fix it for Win XP, but those steps don't appear to work for Windows 7.

(Some of these link refer to the DDE options in the advanced settings, but in Windows 7, the Control Panel's "Set Associations" screen doesn't have any advanced options.)
The "locate link browser" window is asking for an exe file... so, I pointed the "locate link browser" window to "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplorer.exe" and the window isn't coming up anymore, but it just launches IE and my home page... not the link that was in the email. I also tried setting the default browser as Firefox (using the Control Panel's "Set Associations") . That works fine. the links from Outlook emails open fine in Firefox, but when I switch the default browser for the HTTP protocol (using the Control Panel's "Set Associations") back to IE, it goes back to launching IE and my home page and not the link that was in the email.
Any idea on how to resolve this?

My wife has a VAIO desktop with Windows 7 Home Premium and Outlook 2003... and I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 Professional and Outlook 2003. I've never switched my default browser away from IE. But her computer recently developed the Link
Browser issue and I suspect it occurred when one of our daughters switched association of the default browser to Chrome. About a week ago, I switched it back to IE. But the problem has continued.
1) The .htm and .html associations on her computer are set to IE
2) The default browser is back to IE
3) The link in the preview pane of the email message does not work (it brings up Link Browser)
but if you "forward" the message into a message window and then use CTRL+left-click on the same hyperlink, the link works.
There must be secondary association coding that pertains only to the preview pane of Outlook 2003 which gets disrupted by the switch to another default browser... and which does not get reset when you revert to IE.
Does that help someone who can pinpoint the change needed to remove this annoying problem?

Missing parts and production storage location

Can the production storage location in the material master for a component on a BOM be set to blank to pull in all inventory in the plant when calculating missing parts in a production order? I am finding that the blank production storage location is NOT pulling in all inventory in all storage locations; I honestly think that is how it should work but would like to see what others think or have run into. This can be done by system to carried out Avilability check plant level instead of storage location level. For that plz do the settings as suggested by our member.
Check the "No.Stor.Loc.Insp" in OPJJ for checking group and Checking rule combination and assign the same checking group to material at MRP view.
Donot Assign storage location for components in material Master and BOM item.

Two financial statements at product wise and location wise below comp code

company code have number of products and they are being sold in various locations. here management wants to get financial statement both product wise and location wise below company code. the problem is that their is no field to post for BA, profit center and segment in MIGO posting and Billing document in standard SAP
please inform me is it possible to get financial statement both product wise and location wise below company code. if it is possible please provide answer.

Financial Statements can only be drawn at Company Code, Business Area, Profit Center, and Segment levels only.
If you want to have product wise, then the same must have mapped / designed against the one otherthan companyt code.

Linking to email, phone, and location

I have email, phone, and location images that I would like to properly link.
I have followed all the advice on the forums and videos about using the prefix "mailto:[email protected]" "tel:555-555-5555" in the hyperlinks area and something is definitely up. Nothing happens!! I don't know how many times I have tried this to no avail.
I am fully updated with the most current version.

Script to search and relink linked image files that were moved?

Good afternoon
My indesign product catalog has links with a lot of different folders around in my hard disk, not a single folder. And to keep my catalog up to date I must package it.
When I move my linked files in my computer because I change the folder structure or do some cleaning, my indd loses track of its linked files. Currently I need to relink one by one.
Therefore I would like to find a script which would scan the hard disk with the all broken links in mind to detect their new location and relink. Yes I am a lazy person.

At least your honest about your laziness.... Here's your reward:
Just a hint, don't select root of your volume, it will loop through every folder in existence, but key to this script is, if you know the general location, select into that folder hierarchy and the script will test for a relative path, otherwise, come back in a few days, and it will be finished.

In FF 34.0.5 I use to be able to click on a link within an e-mail and the link would open in a new tab; it now opens in the same tab; how can i change it back?

I'm using FF 34.0.5 (I like it). I use to be able to right click on a link, within an e-mail, and the link would open in a new tab. Now when I click on the link it opens in the same tab replacing my e-mail.
Example - a friend sends me an e-mail containing a link to a web site he thinks I'd like. I click on the link and go to the web site and then go back to the e-mail tab and reply to him. Now, when clicking that link, my e-mail disappears and is replaced by the new site.
How can I fix this? When this happened once before I was told to change the 'value' for a specific 'preference name' through the about:config page.
Can anyone help jog my memory?

You can check this pref on the about:config page for external links.
