Product Attributes and Set types Tables
Hi,
In which Table does the Product Attributes and Set types stores in CRM?
Can anybody tell me?
Thanks
Hi,
I am not able to get you can you explain it clearly by taking this example
I have created the Product Called Monitor
For that Monitor i have maintained the following attributes like
Monitor Size like 15 or 17 or 21inchs
Monitor Type like Flat or LCD Type
I have created the Set type for that.
I have assigned those things to Product.
What are the tables are involved in this process can anybody help me out regarding this?
Thanks

Photoshop cs6 running extremely slow on opening a file. have reset prefs and set type to none. have to force quit most of the time.
I'm experiencing the same trouble. Photoshop takes 5 minutes to open then runs fine.
I recently bought a new iMac AND updated to Adobe Master Collection CS6. My concern is that PhotoShop now takes 5 minutes to open. The Photoshop desktop pops up immediately, but the moment you click on a tool or try to open a file (no matter the size) results in the spinning wheel for five minutes before you can do anything. After that, Photoshop appears to work fine.
What I’ve done:
Ran Adobe updater
Reset Photoshop Preferences
Validated all fonts and removed any trouble fonts
Ran the font test
Set font preview size to none
Cleared the Photoshop type cache and system cache
Disabled Symantec Endpoint
Tried running with the GPU processor on/off and in basic
Tried opening Photoshop with optional third party plug-ins turned off (still took five minutes but this time I didn’t even get the Photoshop desktop view until AFTER the five minutes)
I’m wondering since I migrated the files form my old computer (and older versions of Master Collection) did something get corrupted.

How to main multiple attributes for set type R E W ARD_PRO_LOY using IDOC?
Hi,
I'm now trying to add the set type and attributes to my products existing in the CRM system. I decided to use LSMW and IDOC CRMXIF_PRODUCT_MATERIAL_SAVE to maintain the set type and attributes.
I successfully maintained the categories for the products and also assigned the set type. Now I need to add the attributes for this set type, where there are 3:
LMPRODUCT_TYPE
LOYPRODUCT_UNIT
LMPRODUCT_VALUE
But because in the IDOC structure only one attribute can be maintained at one time, how can I input all those 3 attributes together? Thanks a lot.I tried to insert one data field first then update it by the second attributes, but then the system assigned two separated lines of data to my set type....

XML attributes and object types
I want to create an XML Document of the following form
<family>
<parent attr1="val1">
<child attr2="val2" attr3="val3"/>
</parent>
</family>
Using object table and object type (for the child element), I am able to produce the following XML Document (with a "select * from family" query)
<family> <!-- rowset -->
<parent> <!-- row -->
<attr1>val1</attr1>
<child>
<attr2>val2</attr2>
<attr3>val3</attr3>
</child>
</parent>
</family>
The question is: how am I going to query these data so that the "attr" elements are mapped to attributes (using XSU only, without XSLT)?
I have already tried the following:
1. Using
SELECT attr1 as "@attr1",
f.child.attr2 "@attr2",
f.child.attr3 "@attr3"
FROM family f
all the attributes are obviously appended to the "parent" element.
2. Using nested table for "child" and the following query
SELECT attr1 as "@attr1",
CURSOR (
SELECT n.child.attr2 as "@attr2", n.child.attr3 as "@attr3"
FROM TABLE(f.child n)
) AS "child"
FROM family f
I am getting the following document
<family>
<parent attr1="val1">
<child>
<child_ROW attr2="val2" attr3="val3"/>
</child>
</parent>
</family>
Is there a smart SQL query to produce the desired document? What data types
is it recommended to use to define my db schema (object types, nested tables...)?
Thank you in advance
nullFinally, I got the desired XML format output from relational tablse using schema based XMLType views.
Wherein I created Object Types from relational table, generated the schema for the Object type, registered the schema and finally created XMLType Views for populating the XML data from Relational Tables.
I guess, you all might aware of my problem, where I got struck. Instead of printing the data in XML format I am successful in generating the XML format data Using the Query Select from BLABLA_Type_view* . I am able to print the number of rows, that I require which is in the fallowing format.
Column Name
1. SYS.XMLTYPE ----- As a row
The view I am querying for is printing the data in a string format, where in I got to do the fallowing query
SELECT SYS.XMLTYPE.getStringVal(OBJECT_VALUE) FROM BLABLA_Type_view. Which ultimately gave me the required data in XML format with tags.
Thanks for every one who tried to give a try to solve, especially "mdrake" -
Issue in Product Category regd Set Types
Hi,
I am customizing Product Category ( for CRM 5.0 standalone) for Material using Building Block guides. I have created root hierarchy and category as described. Now I want to create category for Sales products using the root category. While creating this category the BB guide states following customization steps
Basic Data on Category
Product Type Material
Product / Object Assignment Possible
Product / Object Maintenance: Control Fields
Can Maintain Documents (Click this)
Can Maint. Conditions (click this)
But in my case I am not able to see following in Product / Object Maintenance: Control Fields section (following 2 controls)
Can Maintain Documents
Can Maint. Conditions
Because of this I am not able to get Set types COMM_PR_UNIT, COMM_PR_LGTEXT1, and COMM_PR_SHTEXT
Pl provide guidance and assist this is quite urgent.
With regards
Ambar AdhavPlease check this ...
1. You have created a hierarchy...
2. you have cretad a root category...say CRM_PROD
3. check whether you have created a sub category under the root category.
to do that... Please click on CRM_PROD.. right click and create category..
then we can see the
Can Maintain Documents

I have VAITM enhanced with few new fields.
now when do those fields get populated... after set-up tables are filled or during set-up tables filling.
I mean to know that when in delta que, extraction que and application table reading, those CMOD user exits populate extract structures.
RitaHi,
As per my understanding, the extractor program there is a code which looks up to CMOD to see if there is any enhanced code involved.If it is there it will execute the code and populate the additional fields too.
So whenever the extractor program is executed, it checks for the CMOD code which if found is executed for every record populated.
In this case it should work in all the cases you have mentioned.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I am trying to post a Material Document for a Production order through BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. To the 'AFS_GOODSMVT_SKU' table of the BAPI, the sizes in the production order item are passed and to the 'GOODSMVT_ITEM' table, the respective line for each size is passed.
Lets say the production order has size 1 (with valuation type: 01 in Material) and size 2 (with valuation type 02 in Material). Inside the BAPI standard code, there is a comparison between Valuation types in Material and Production order. The Production order valuation type is taken as the first found valuation type passed to the BAPI, so in this case it is '01'. In the above case, for the first line there is no comparison error, later for the second line , when comparison happens between '01' and '02' valuation types, the error: M7043 (Valuation Type 01 differs from Valuation type of batch 02) is thrown.
However when we do the GR grom MB31, this error is not thrown.
Can someone please throw some light on how to avoid this error when posting the GR for Production Order via the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE ?
Thanking in Advance.I have never seen an AFS system and do not know how this works. There are a few OSS notes on AFS and error M7043, but none to this BAPI. I can't tell you whether this is a bug in SAP or in the way you use this BAPI.
I am moving this discussion to the Retail space as this is the desired place for AFS related discussions in SCN. -
Single Report for production scrap and Movement type 551 scrap
Hi All,
Can we include the scrap information from production and scrap from movement type 551 into a single BW report?.......My assumption is we cannot include it into a single report coz production scrap will have a different material information and scrap from movement type 551 will have a different material information..please correct me ig i am wrong......
Regards,
Shravanihello,
you can have a single report by two options
1. have a variable on movement type.If you choose 551..U will get materials of tht movt type.
also if the select teh movt type for prodcution, it wil display its materials.
or
2. U have to place movt type in the rows.Place movt type and then material in the rows.
Then u will get for each movt type..its corresponding materials.No variable selection needed here.

I'm using warehouse builder 9i against a 9i database to bring data from a fixed width flat file into a warehouse. Everything validates ok except the map which gets a VLD-1111 error (unknown step type). The config properties for the map have only "unknown" as an option (according to the documentation the choices should be PL/SQL or SQL*Loader). Also missing from the configuration are the runtime parameters mentioned in the docs. This is pretty much what is covered in the docs. so I know I have to be missing something in the setup that is not covered in the docs. Has anyone run into this or have any insight into this?
Thanks in advance.Hi Jayesh,
Remove all the assignment for the attributes.
No need to delete the attributes, but can be modified as per requirement and then again can be reassigned.
If modification doesnot suffice requirement, attribtues and settypes can be deleted, created and assigned again.

How to create attribute & set types with customer namespace COMM_ATTRSET?
Hi CRM Gurus,
I want to create some attributes and set types on CRM system with

Delete price on product attributes
I added 2 attributes to a product and want to know how do I delete the pricing for the attributes, besides using us/00. When left blank, BC calculates double the price for the singular item. For example, attribute red + attribute sm = $40.00, while the shirt is $20.00. any advice helpful.
Hi Devi,
I myself had same issue as wrkin for a real estate Client. Below was the reply i got from one Mr. Pavithra G K. I havent tried it as yet. Try it out do lemme know hows systems reacting to it.
=========================================================
In order to have new attributes at the Product level and enable their usage in Pricing you could try the following:
1. Define new attributes and set types (Tcode - COMM_ATTRSET)
2. In order for these new attributes to be passed to Pricing, you will have to create new fields in the field catalog to fill Pricing communication structure CS_ACS_I_COM.
IMG Path->Customer Relationship Management->Basic Functions->Pricing->Define Settings for Pricing->Maintain Field Catalog
3. You can then enhance your Order Item UI using screen sequence control to make your new product attributes available at the Order level.
4. Implement BAdI 'CRM_COND_COM_BADI' to fill the newly created fields of the field catalog in pricing communication structure CS_ACS_I_COM. This can be done by reading product attributes of the order item structure and assigning them to the newly created fields in the field catalog.
5. During Order processing, depending on the values of your Product attributes which are part of the Item structure, Pricing would be triggered which would fetch different condition rates.
Do reward points if helpful.

Creation of Service Product with Set Type and Attribute
Dear All,
Please guide me with proper step by step process,
How to create the product with the set type and attribute for service industry in sap crm 7.0
Regards,Hi Nitin,
Before creating the Service type of product, you have to define the Base category for Service type product. Generally the category for service will be created under the R3 hierarchy R3PRODSTYPE. You can create this category using the TCode:
COMM_HIERARCHY. Here you have to select the product type as Service and have to assign the set types to the category.
You can create a service product using the transaction : COMMPR01 -> Click on Service ICON -> Select the Category for Service Type. Then fill in the details for Service Product description, Service ID(Based on number range settings for products), Language.
Also fill other details like Base Unit of measure, Pricing condition for different sales areas for the service product.
Since you are using CRM7.0, you can do all these activities using a POWER USER role.
For more information about Set types and hierarchies please refer the following help link:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/46/57672501a208e7e10000000a114a6b/frameset.htm
Hope this helps!
