PRODUCT CODE NO LONGER RECOGNIZED- WIN7 PRO (OEM)

Last year using Bootcamp I loaded an authorized Win7 Professional (OEM) onto my MacBook Pro (OSX.9.2).
Until I no longer needed the Windows partition for my job all the Windows updates had been installed and the software worked as expected. On several occasions I had to repartition or reload the Win OS onto the same laptop. When I entered the Product
Key on any of those occasions there was never any problem. Yesterday however, when I attempted to log into the Win partition for the 1st time in several months, an error msg appeared stating the MS SW was "not genuine". I logged onto MS's support
page & typed in the product key; the key is not recognized for this country (U.S.A.). My laptop has never left the U.S.
So I can't log onto my Windows partition and cannot get online assistance from the Microsoft support page as the Product Key is no longer recognized, whereas it always was accepted in 2013.

Based on my knowledge, Windows 7 Original Equipment Manufacturer is a version of the Windows operating system available to computer manufacturers and companies that build computer systems.OEM versions are intended for computers that are already built.

i was getting a different ac adaptor (*PA3468E*) on the Toshiba website for my laptop which was wrong as it had a 19v supply and my laptop only takes 15v.
On the Topaz Support (Official Toshiba Parts Supplier) website it was refering me to one with the product code *PA2521E-2AC3* I gather there is no difference between this and the one you have suggested *PA2521U/E-2ACA*.

Time Machine no longer recognized - MacBook Pro

I am using a Western Digital 1TB MyBookWorld network hard drive. I upgraded the hard drive in my MacBook Pro from 250gig to 500 gig. When I tried to restore from Time Machine, my computer could no longer see the drive. I also use the drive to back up 3 pc laptops and they work fine.
Any suggestions?

I fear you may have already done part of that, inadvertently, since the folder shows no contents.
But it's not a password for the Time Machine application; it's the sharing of the WD disk, which is done by WD. When you back up with Time Machine to a simple external HD, there is no password for the drive. When you back up over a network to a Time Capsule, or a USB drive connected to it, you set up the password, if any, via Airport Utility, and I believe that's stored by the router as well as in the keychain on your Mac.
Do you still have the original 250 GB HD? If so, your best bet may be to get an enclosure for it, from http://www.macsales.com/ or the like. You can put the HD into it and connect it to your Mac via USB or FireWire, and it will become a normal external HD. Then you can start up from it and "clone" the HD to the new one.
Then you might be able to re-establish contact with the WD, and see your backups, unless they got erased during all the problems, or erase it and start over.

3110c product code no more recognized

It seems that something is wrong on the Nokia Software Update Server - after I successfully updated some time ago a 3110c phone with code 0544306 to version 5.50, now the server does not recognize this product. Both the NSU utility and the Web "Can I Update?" page say that this product does not exist.
Has this situation appeared to someone else?

OK, I saw another post related to 6300. It seems this model was temporarily disabled into NSU server. Let's hope they'll fix the issue soon.

What do I do when my product code fails?

I have the student addition of photo shop elements and my computer that it was installed on, no longer works. I am trying to re-install it on my new computer but my product code no longer works. In order to get my serial number I have to have a working product code. On top of that, I bought this a few years ago and through my school so I cannot go onto my account and look up the serial number. I have to go to the student licensing website in oder to get my serial number. Is there anyway I can get photo-shop elements re-installed or was this a one time deal? If it helps, I have all of the original instalation stuff on a back-up hard drive. So I technically have it installed on a hard drive, just wont go onto this computer, if that makes sense. What do I do? The steps to get a new serial number online, do not work for me.

Try the other DVI port on the graphics card. On early Mac Pros, only one port is the dual-link DVI needed for full resolution on the 30" display. Make sure the display's USB cable is plugged into the computer.

If it's the same machine (same CPU) there should not be any need to activate. The actiovation is tied to your CPU.

SSD Upgraded MacBook Pro 2011 freezes, hangs, until SSD is no longer recognized

Hello.
Enough with the small talk. I have MacBook Pro 13" Late 2011 with Lion that I upgraded with a 128GB Vertex 4 SSD about 8 months ago. I moved the original HDD into the optical bay and slipped the Vertex 4 into its place. Everything was all good and well until about a month ago when my computer started freezing and hanging (I'm not exactly sure what the difference is or if they're interchangeable words). To be more descriptive, I would have some applications open and it would randomly freeze, leaving me with a rainbow wheel I could control. The computer would then be essentially unresponsive other than the ability to click between apps, but if I did it a couple times everything would become completely unresponsive and I would be left with the spinning pinwheel. At first I thought the computer would right itself, but it stayed like that for 30 minutes one time, with the fan ending up blowing as hard as it could and the temperature of the computer becoming quite warm. The only thing I would be able to do at that point was to hold the power button to force restart the computer. Then the whole process would happen again, once more than 10 times a day. It didn't seem like the hanging was due to intensive use of the computer; sometimes I would literally just have one window open browsing the interwebs and it would give up on me, and other times it wouldn't happen until I had a billion tabs open streaming tv shows on every single one.
At its very worst, I had to hard reset the computer yet again, but when it booted up the SSD was no longer recognized. It was as if I unplugged and removed it so there was nothing in the primary bay and I just turned the computer on. So it booted to the that thing with the options: recover from time machine backup, reinstall Lion, get help online, or disk utility. However, the SSD does not appear in the disk utility, I can't reinstall Lion to it (because it's not an option), and I can't use the SSD as a startup disk (also because it's not an option). I was completely sure it was a faulty SSD so I sent it to OCZ, who then crushed my hopes and told me there was nothing wrong with the drive.
My hunch after several hours of digging throgh other forums is that something is wrong with my logic board, but I'm obviously posting this because I don't have any confidence in my hunch and would rather have some feedback before I go splurging on a diagnosis or - oh no! - another logic board.

Then in a later email:
"We thoroughly tested the drive on several machines. The drive has passed all testing with no faults found. The drive is functioning correctly as received. "
I am actually praying that its my SSD or a broken SATA cable (no chance) because those are relatively cheap.
Any ideas?

I'm not sure I understand. You swapped the A and B modules. The B module does not show up in the A modules slot? That would indicate the module is bad. If the A module doesn't show up in the B module's slot, then the slot is bad.

Bump- I have the same issue. Screen slowly dims for no observable reason until I rearrange to point it more directly at light source. Odd thing is that the light in the room does not change. So scren will be fine for hours while I am working and at some point just slowly dim until I rearrange. Any information helpful.
